JR will take too much punishment trying to chase Sergio. JR didn’t train hard enough for such a big fight.

Bj, Going into Taylor/Pavlik I, Jermaine was coming off of two shaky performances against Ouma and Spinks, and Pavlik was a relative unknown but was coming off of a great KO victory over Edison Miranda. It was a great fight in retrospect, but the build up wasn’t nearly as hyped as this match-up. This is regarded as and elite level P4P fighter against a very strong 160 pound fighter who has a title as well. This fight is much bigger than Pavlik/Taylor I…will it be as entertaining? i hope so!!

Lots of question marks all of which will be answered, I believe, by Martinez. An article which hasn’t been penned here should read something along the lines of: ‘What is Chavez’s Confidence Based Upon?’ Beating up Andy Lee while being down on the cards? Rubio? Andy Lee, fair play to the guy, is just a decent contender. Rubio hit and miss and if you can be assed doing the Pavlik psuedo-math, well, all roads lead back to Argentina. I just don’t get it. This is a bad year for Roach who himself may soon have to review what he has to offer his fighters, and the year’s about to get worse. What we’re ultimately led to believe from many articles and opinions is that Chavez’s reasonable victory over Lee promotes him to a favourable or near-favourable position in this fight. Had he won both his last two with spectacular knockouts I may be more inclined to listen. This is Martinez’s fight to lose.

The only one who’s likely to fold is kid jr cause Sergio definitely isn’t.

24ft ring┬┐┬┐ Chavez Jr could potentially gain up to 22lbs over night. 22lbs is an awful lot of weight to move around when you need it to, especially if it’s gained over night like that and your body hasn’t adjusted to the weight gain yet. Moving 22 extra lbs in a 24ft ring spells trouble for Jr.

Too young, too strong, too big, better chin and will! Martinez will be forced to stand and fight after a massive body attack. Chavez is being underestimated! Before the Lee fight, Emanual Steward predicted that Lee would ko Chavez in 5-6 rounds. He was way off on that one! This kid is better than he’s given credit for. This is going to be a different kind of fight than Martinez has ever been in! Martinez will sweep the first half of the fight, then Chavez will come on and abuse will begin. Chavez wins by KO between 11-12 round.

flash knock down

I have never thought that much of Chavez until he beat Andy Lee. I am a big fan of Andy Lee’s and to see how Jr. knocked him out I had to change my thinking about him he is a fighter you can not beat Andy Lee with out knowing how to fighgt. On the other hand I am not impressed with Matrinez but he has beat some really good fighters. With Chavez loosing that much weight and his training habits and his level of competition I have to go with Martinez.

boiling down to 158lbs is no “edge.” just like boiling down to 145lbs provided no edge for DLH. i fear Jr’s. recklessly compromised himself but This heavyweight is sticking to his guns and think Martinez to wilt and fold at some point during the bout. hopefully, Jr. will have the strength and ferocity to finish the job and earn the biggest Upset of 2012.

He needs too be tested for a diarhetic he looks so drained,he’s going to weigh 180 tonight,it’s crazy how some fighters get protected like this, that boy is definitely doing some foul play to get an edge in size
