Chisora talking about other fighters when he has a fight coming up makes me think he’s going to come in fat like he did against Fury and lose to Gerber.

Squared-Circle Real Talk (a.k.a. The Lion King of Beat Street)

Come on Wilder, accept Chisora’s challenge and fight him! He’ll be the first “name” on your weak resume. Gotta start fighting guys ranked in the Top 15-20 sooner or later.

Fight Aficionado

Chisora-Wilder was already supposed to have happened this spring. Wilder got arrested for domestic assault and the Feds took his passport. So if Chisora wants this fight he’ll have to come to the USA for it which won’t happen because the US$ value is weak vs the British pound, plus Chisora doesn’t command big payday here where he’s little known. Good fight if Wilder can’t get Arreola but it just won’t happen.

If Warren is prepared to let Chisora fight Wilder he may as well hang him back for a fight with Price after Price wins a return fight. That fight would sell big time here in the UK and generate Chisora a bigger pay day.

Wilders all wrong for Del Boy he should aviodt hat one, Adamek would be a cracking fight!

Chisora shouldn’t be allowed out in the Public. He spits on people. I don’t think he’s human.

Chisora would beat Ademek …… Ademek is not a fighter to fear at heavyweight. Chisora v Wilder would be interesting. Chisora would be a good test for Wilder.

Honestly Chisora would put a glass eye to sleep, sure he’s game but that’s about it, I have no desire to watch him fight, if he packed a good punch I would but he doesn’t even do that, the sooner he gets KTFO again the better,go on shoot me down haha.

What is it about these so called british fighter running their mouth
all the time haye, fury, Chisora they all seem like sales men to me.
Oh Im sorry thats what they call each other….

I think Chisora is rugged. I like how he doesn’t back down and he’s scrappy. He’s just inconsistent. Wonder which Chisora will show up from fight to fight.

Curtis Lowe, all that talking has made Chisora a tough but crude journeyman some major money. Say what you want about Chisora after he talks himself into these fights he shows up and takes his beating like a man he does not run terrified for 12 rounds like Haye did again Wladimir.

Posted September 9, 2013 6:41 pm

Curtis Lowe

One of Chisora’s problems is that he talks a hell of a lot better than he fights. He is brave, but truth is he is not a very good fighter. Loops his punches, can’t fight on the inside, loses basically all his big fights. Yet he keeps on talking.

Stephano, you make some excellent points, I agree with you Wilder and Chisora careers are almost exact polar opposite in how they have been handled and brought along as pros. Calling Chisora an “old Pro” was a poor choice of words on my part. I guess what I meant is he has massive experience and some major fights already under his belt in what is as you pointed out not a very long career.

Posted September 9, 2013 6:27 pm

Stefano

@ alexander

True, Chisora has more rounds under his belt and against better opponents. It makes him more experienced than Wilder (it’s not hard to be) but not an old pro. I still see him as a rookie who wanted too much too fast and therefore got his ass handed to him on more than one occassion.

Wilders career on the other hand is completely the opposite, I think they’re building him up a little too slow. I even find it hard to see him as a prospect and future great. Having a shot Liahovich and Audley Harrison at the top of your resume is a little weak at his age. He’s got his best years ahead of him and should be careful not to waste them fighting zombies who don’t fight back. Chisora would indeed be a good opponent in that aspect. Not too good but still better than what he’s ever seen in the ring.

@ Alexander

Old pro? Chisora has less fights than Wilder

Posted September 9, 2013 4:42 pm

Stefano

Adamek is a better boxer and has a good chin. The few times Chisora would be able to catch him with his feather fists would not be enough to stop him.
Chisora has a lot of heart but would lose to any top 5 heavy I think.

Posted September 9, 2013 4:39 pm

Alexander

Chisora versus Wilder would have been a great match of an old pro against the next big thing. Too bad Wilder can no longer travel abroad.

Posted September 9, 2013 4:24 pm

Silly Brit

Del Boy does make me laugh. If nothing else he’s entertainment.

Posted September 9, 2013 3:12 pm

Bern

Wilder has potential, but he won’t fight Chisora. I doubt his handlers will allow that kind of a risk

Posted September 9, 2013 2:06 pm

JJ

Wilder would blast Chisora out. Adamek would win a decision. 0-2 for Mr Chisora in those fights.

Posted September 9, 2013 1:29 pm

daniel

The Haye fight showed very clearly how far Chisora will go. But I believe he truly fears no one and that’s admirable. Still it’s not wise to look past your next opponent Del Boy!

mack

While Chisora has not yet won the big ones, I think he has a good chance against Wilder, and I don’t think Adamek has anything to hurt him with. I don’t like Chisora because he is abrasive, but he certainly stays busy and against good fighters as well. I though Scott would outbox him, but he pressured right through him for a win. Give him credit, he fights.

Gotta love Chisora. He isn’t the greatest heavyweight but you could never accouse him of ducking an opponent. He’ll blow past Gerber for the euro strap and hopefully will land a fight to get him another shot at the big boys.
