Q

They are now changing it, to trying to pit Broner against Mayweather. Broner is flattered by the comparisons to his idol as he should be.

Q

Good eye for boxing. Broner is rather stiff at the waist, and he waits back.. leaning back, and tries to counter of that pure speed and you reaching… with his reach. The guy is nothing like Floyd Mayweather. Not on that level, he has a lot of polishing to do.

Hecdunce: Floyd’s KO% was in the 70% as a 130. He makes 99.99% of his opponents STOP ATTACKING, he hurts everybody he fights damn near, from 130… to 154, almost knocking out Cotto with one shot, hurting him multiple times. Sleep on his power all you want, but he has pop. He’s not heavy handed, but his shots have real snap and he hurts these guys. “Can’t punch worth crap” yeah if you’re comparing his power to one punch knockout artist, newsflash… you don’t have to have one punch KO power to have good pop. He’s well behind where Floyd was at that age (Lineal champion …P4Per.. Fighter of the Year at 21) …the skill difference is immense… the defense, ring generalship, counter ability, accuracy difference is highly pronounce… the infighting hit and not get hit ability of Floyd is all-time status.. the difference in smarts and ability to adapt on the fly is pronounce. Floyd has had and is having his career. I will praise Broner as he deserves it, but he’s not ever gonna be at the level of a Floyd Mayweather. Broner better defense and countering than Floyd? That makes Broner an ATG defensive and counter fighter…top 4 at least. Hahaha.. if you think that, then I don’t know what to tell you. Goodbye Hector.

Ricky Burns would beat both Broner and Demarco far too much movement and skill.

Another good fight. DeMarco will have to be ready to go toe to toe.

that why demarco had problems with edwin valero and jorge linares these guys was pretty quick fighters themselfs proably not fast as broner but they had some speed even know demarco came back and beat jorge linares jorge was outboxing him at first so if they fight i got to go with broner on that

demarco is pretty good he experince he got good technique he tall with good reach pretty gud power demarco been in there with edwin valero so i aint scared of broner at all but broner is a special talent so far seem like a special fighter idk if demarco can deal with that handspeed

Why doesn’t Boner fight Ponce de Leon again? He just won the belt. Oh, I forgot, last time they fought many journalists actually scored the fight for Ponce. If you think Boner is such a talent then watch the Boner/De Leon fight. Boner had a very hard time and many people thought he lost while De Leon is not a top talent. I think there is a chance Boner is all show, no go, we will see? He hasnt fought anyone.

Da Problem will put an ass whipping on Antonio “Taco Man” DeMarco. The only one who can give Broner a fight is Gamboa.

The problem is that many people posting don’t really have the knowledge to properly analyze or predict a fight. Of course Broner is talented, but you have to look at all the variables… For example HBO/SHOWTIME commentators are on record saying that Ponce De Leon beat Broner…. So what you have to be asking yourself is what is it about Ponce that made Broner look bad!?

Also, Broner can’t really be compared to Mayweather… Just because they both use the Phillystyle it doesn’t mean they are in the same caliber. Many fighters have fought using the shoulder roll and not all are as successful as Mayweather… Here is a hint, Broners waist movement is not as good Mayweathers, Broner has been hit flush on the body by weak punchers– I could only imagine what it would look like by a power puncher like DeMarco…

Also, who has Broner beat to make him so special!?

Q, come on man! Mayweather has never had any one punch power ever in any weight class. He break them down with speed, but he can’t punch worth a crap. Broner’s got legit one punch power. This guy will be one of the best ever, and I can’t stand the guy, but he’s got all the skills and defense to be great. He’s much better in all area than Floyd Mayweather ever was. Put those two in a fight today, and I guarantee you Broner not only beats Floyd, but stops him. Broner will beat Floyd in all areas (Speed, Power, Defense, Countering, smart, infighting etc.) You’ll be praising this guy soon.

don’t hold your breath or put money on it. Demarco is not a top talent. Broner is.

Posted September 16, 2012 10:22 pm

he’ not as skilled as Mayweather but give me the name of someone who is. I thought so. Broner has tons of skill and punches much harder than Mayweather. Not saying that he’ll ever be #1 P4P, but i’m not saying he won’t be either.

“come his hair?” did you mean COMB? and he doesn’t comb it, but he brushes it. he does it for “waves”, it’s a black thing lol…

Face it, the man has talent and on his way to making huge paydays. He knows how to sell himself!!!!!! and he’s doing it well

TheFacts

Not everybody judges on personality alone that’s stupid,Yes he’s got a horrible one looks like he came out of floyds a## lol. That said his resume is weak,he even admits to being 150+ fighting men 2-3divsions smaller than him he’s as bad as rios & jr if not worse. The guy talks sh*t like jr & eventually loses when he fights a real fighter like Garcia or Lucas matthyse probably both. These are 140lbs so they’re not walking around at 160 either just broners size.He needs to step up eventually, can’t hide behind haymon forever.

Clown face

Broner will pull it out but Demarko is no joke, it will be a real test for Broner though. I hope Broner fights at 35 and 40 for a short time this way he can fight Floyd at 47 but Floyd always has an exuse for not fighting the best, he fights them when they are old or crys about steriod use and then claims he the best ever, lol. The comparison between Broner and Floyd is justified though, Floyd was a lil more polished but Broner seems to hit a lil harder, if they ever fight I would pay 100 dollars to see that.

Well, no kidding. He’s young and hasn’t had a chance to prove himself. But the thing you should be paying attention to is his talent — which he is rich in — and obvious for anyone to see, at least to those who aren’t biased against him.

Posted September 16, 2012 1:04 pm

Too many of the people posting in here must read People Magazine — all they are concerned with is the personality of fighters. If they don’t like them, they discredit them and call them names, instead of focusing on the truly important thing — how talented a fighter is.

Broner is one talented kid! I’m glad he’s fighting again; it’s always a pleasure watching him demonstrate his craft. He’s truly one who is going to be around, and be dominate, for a while. Should be a good fight and a strong test! And a win should silence his critics.

broner can comb his hair all day long in order to fix his hair however sadly theres no way to fix that ugly mug of his…

Broner’s bark is louder than his bite. He ain’t done sh*t but talk and tell tales.

T-Bag

Broner will outdo what Valero did vs Demarco and vs a way better version of Demarco than Valero faced then what are you haters gonna say? Before this fight was signed Demarco was the main dude people were calling on Broner to step up in opposition level and fight but now that it’s signed watch these same hoe ass haters do their best to dioscredit the fight and call Demarco a bum. It’s gonna kill these haters to watch Broners rise to the face of boxing, the top of the p4p list and boxings biggest PPV attraction. He’s got it all to be a mega crossover star, skill to keep winning, an exciting style that usually ends in highligh reel KO’s, big power in both hands, mad charisma, gift of gab and mainstream appeal, the boy is gonna be HUGE and yall don’t want no problems! The Can Man gonna wax Demarco in 8 rds!

Demarco will be easy work? Really? Only if Broner gets to beam his brush at DeMarco’s head.

DeMarco Team should charge a 1 million a pound penalty for each pound over the weight limit or the CHEATER CHILD will CHEAT again.

What with the upcoming WBO title fight bwtween Ricky Burns & Kevin Mitchell + this one, in an ideal World there (should) be a fantastic WBC/WBO unification @ 135Lb to look forward to in the new year. However with Frank Warren & the WBC as the main ingrediants it’s unlikely to materialize. Unfortunatly Boxing politics will stop us finding out who’s #1 in this division a quite a long time to come.

SimSim, why not take that fight? It’s the #1 at the weight.

Posted September 15, 2012 9:21 pm

Hecdunce, Floyd knocked out damn near everybody when he was at 130. So you’re analogy is crap. He’s not like Mayweather because he’s just not that skilled.

Posted September 15, 2012 9:20 pm

SimSimma

This is a great fight. I’m suprised Broner is willing to fight this guy. There were way more low-risk opponents for him out there. All I care is that he comes in on weight this time. That was some BS he pulled against Escobedo.

Posted September 15, 2012 8:59 pm

Broner i going destroy Demarco, he’s not in the same clas a Broner. Sure Broner has a big mouth, but he is young, fast, strong, great defense, and will KO Demarco. He’s way too slick for Demarco. This guy is annoying, but he is special like Manny Pacquiao. Not Mayweather because he doesn’t have power. Broner is going to be a great one.

Posted September 15, 2012 8:57 pm

WHY ?

Why does Adrain continuely come his hair. His hair is short and theres nothing to comb. I dont get it ?

I have to see Damarco to make a proper analogy

This should be a decent fight… but I give a slight edge to DeMarco on this one. I’m not sure he’s going to be able to blast this guy out that easily…It could be another Ponce De Leon situation for him if he takes DeMarco lightly.

Posted September 15, 2012 6:59 pm

This guy Demarco is special. I do believe that surviving the street of Tiruana is harder than the task ahead of him…We’ll see.
