JOSEPH HERRON I HAD CANELOPosted September 17, 2013 8:20 am
Fascinating comments about camp Canelo!!
And yeah, Mayweather could NEVER face Hearns! Now, the Hawk…that’s the matchup!!
I actually had Trout winning that fight, so no…you’re not alone, brother!!
It all depends on the weight division and the style match-up, concerning the fitness of a referee.
Tony isn’t a bad guy, and maybe I was a little too hard on him…remember, he was the third man in the ring when Castillo and Corrales gave us one of the most dramatic endings in the history of boxing.
Thanks for listening, Luke…tomorrow I’m going to pick the brains of Paulie Malignaggi and Don Chargin on ways to improve the overall quality of the judging and officiating aspect of the game.
Call in brother…718-506-1506…9PM EST!!Posted September 17, 2013 12:17 am
I was commenting to my bud on fight night, “Gee, I think Tony Weeks has lost some weight.”
Joseph, I scored Canelo/Trout a draw. Does that mean I’m as bad CJ Ross??
Brother, stay with the officiating sub-theme…love it!!Posted September 16, 2013 10:36 pm
Hey there, RGR!!
I would love to see Danny fight the winner of Provodnikov/Alvarado, but that’s not going to happen.
Instead, we’re probably going to see him fight Lamont Peterson for his IBF title. Although matthysse handily defeated Peterson, it doesn’t necessarily mean that Garcia will have as easy of a time at it.
Lamont is a very good boxer/puncher who made the sad mistake of electing to trade with lucas matthysse after he getting buzzed with the Argentine’s power.
I think Peterson gives Garcia more trouble than he showed in the Matthysse bout. I actually like that contest.Posted September 16, 2013 4:41 pm
JOSEPH herron who SHOULD DANNY FIGHT NEXTPosted September 16, 2013 3:50 pm
CJ ROSS UGHPosted September 16, 2013 3:45 pm
Yup, like most boxing scribes, I underestimated Garcia’s ability to box and move laterally. I knew he had the firepower to dissuade Mattthysse from recklessly moving inside, but I really didn’t anticipate Danny fighting such an intelligent and physically gritty fight.Posted September 16, 2013 3:40 pm
RGR I think the Cobra knocks Groves into next year, he put him down in sparring with headguard,he KO’s him without one.Posted September 16, 2013 3:17 pm

Hey check this out!
Garcia’s left hook caused MUCH damage hammering Matthysse’s eye shut. Thats called FIREPOWER.Posted September 16, 2013 1:20 am
My bad. Don’t want to single you out Herron. I told Old Yank TOO. Now you both agre with ME on that.Posted September 16, 2013 1:19 am
Herron I told you that Garcia had the tools to WIN. I am the GREATEST Fight Prophet ever born!!!!Posted September 16, 2013 1:18 am
As I stated long AGO. Rigo is the only one capable of pushing Floyd to the brink. This game isn’t about SIZE. Its about SKILLS!!Posted September 16, 2013 1:17 am
When they said CJ Ross had it 114-114 we were surprised but not shocked. She’s the same clown who scored Pac-BRadley 115-113 for Bradley. Now anyone objective — who doesn’t hate Floyd or Pac — knows this chick’s scores in both cases were equally absurd.Posted September 16, 2013 12:32 am
The Pugilist KOrner team will also talk about the “114-114” scorecard of Ms. C.J. Ross, and the subjective nature of scoring a prizefight…” – You know discussing CJ Ross in that context legitimizes her “scoring”? When a judge has been bribed and/or knows they’ll continue getting high paying gigs if they score a certain way, we know it. Many fans won’t acknowledge that if they hate the fighter who’s victimized, but we all know what’s what.Posted September 16, 2013 12:29 am
Khan vs may. Depends on how he looks against alexander. If he wins that will be interesting. That fight would be huge in the uk. But if alexander wins then what? Can floyd vs alexander sell?Posted September 16, 2013 12:05 am
The word on the street is Amir Khan if he wins the IBF Welterweight title, brother!!Posted September 15, 2013 11:59 pm
Only fight for floyd is garcia or khan. 1st khan must be alexander in dec which wont be easy! Cant see a fight w bradley, pac or any top rank fighter as long as bob arum is still around.Posted September 15, 2013 11:58 pm
Agreed lol. I think the real question is now what? I think Garcia ifs too green yet, Thurman as well. The bigger problem is getting an opponent that the boxing public will buy into. The broner fight ifs still well out of range, and trust me these two are planning it out regardless out what they say now. In the meantime I’m hearing rumblings of a rematch with Marquez barring he get s by a game Bradley. I hope this isn’t the case. Just don’t see a much different resultPosted September 15, 2013 11:03 pm
LOL!!!Posted September 15, 2013 10:48 pm
