I enjoyed the show, thanks… By the way the technical problems seem to be gone now. Nice work…

BTW, Joseph, I like Stevenson over Cloud. I think Adonis is just too tough, too durable. He may also be too strong for Tavoris. I’m thinking Split Decision in favor of Stevenson and it will be a very very close fight.

Hidalgo, we’re definitely on the same page regarding Cortez.

I’ve never been very fond of officials who try to steal the spotlight by being overtly officious in a boxing match. When a ref has a catch phrase, look out…it usually means that they want to be the stars of the fight and are almost always going to be overly officious and want to control the action.

I’m sorry that I was late in getting the press release up on ESB yesterday…I usually have the link to listen to the show on the internet.

It will be up in plenty of time this Sunday night when we preview the big Triple header on HBO.

James Gogue is also going to preview a Khan/Mayweather match-up as an added bonus for all of the listeners of the show.

Joseph, thanks for the info regarding your show. I did call in, but never pressed “1.” I listened to your show over my cordless phone too! Is there another way to listen to it? I couldn’t find it live on the Internet.

Also, I’m with you on Quillin over Rosado, and Haye over Fury. As for Cynthia Ross, she showed some class, humility, and dignity by stepping down. I can think of at least three referees that I wish would have stepped down a long time ago. One was Cortez. Thank God he retired. I imagine you may have a different opinion on Cortez but he did an abysmal job in the Mayweather/Ortiz fight. He had just gotten to old to be an effective referee any longer.

I am picking Haye over Fury, Quillin over Rosado, and yes…I’m really glad to hear that Cynthia Ross did the right thing!!

Thanks for checking out the show, Hidalgo!!

I’m sorry about the ambiguity, but simply press one to be placed in the producer’s cue, and James will ask you if want to be a part of the show…surprisingly enough, most of our live call in listeners are there just to listen to the show and really don’t want to ask any questions…strange, right?

But yeah, simply call in next time and talk to James the producer…he’ll get you on the air next time.

By the way, if there are any guests that you would like us to get on the show, please let me know.

Thanks again for listening!!

Hey Joseph! I enjoyed your show tonight, especially the segment with Don Chagrin. “Sugar Ray Robinson would beat Floyd Mayweather Jr.”

Anyways, I wanted to call in as I said I would but I couldn’t figure out when to do it. I dialed into your show a little late, listened to about 15 minutes of Sugar’s segment, then all of Paulie’s, Quillin’s then Chargrin’s.

I kept waiting for you to invite listeners to call but you never did that and I wasn’t sure if I should be interrupting the segments.

So, what’s the process and how does it work? Do you want listeners to just call in an leave a question or do you talk to them live on their air while you are talking to your guests?

I really wanted to say hello to Paulie and I had a comment and question or two for the Kid and Mr. Chargrin.

Anyways, another great show.
