GONZO OF NAZARETH
Adonis stevenson is a very well spoken man. He will dominate the Light heavy and Super middleweight division for a long time to come.Posted September 27, 2013 12:34 pm
Sorry I forgot to give the name of the other brave guy who just fought Stevenson, Darnell Boone, who lost by split decision the first time he fought Kovalev, before being stopped, but not KTFO, in the rematch. Also was awarded a stoppage against an earlier unpolished version of Stevenson who took the fight on short notice. And of course Boone is known for having hurt and knocked down the amazing Andre Ward, who otherwise has never lost in pro or amateur since anyone can remember.Posted September 26, 2013 10:40 pm
I would be pleasantly surprised if Andre Ward ever agreed to fight this guy, but just looking at his shocked reaction after he saw the one-punch desruction of Dawson, I wouldn’t count on it!Posted September 26, 2013 10:22 pm
Stevenson needs only one hit to hurt you badly, and he WILL probably get to you.
The problem is not just one-punch KO power but quickness,as he showed with his counter left over Dawson’s right, and trickiness with unexpected combinations or punch variation as you saw with the uppercut KO the guy before.Plus of course his skill progress under Steward & Sugar Hill.
Stevenson’s promoter said every top ten SMW said no to fighting him, until Donovan George volunteered. These guys who are agreeing to fight Stevenson are the real deal and true warriors. I hope Cloud, for his own health, respects Stevenson’s unusual power in his left hand both to the head and body. But put your money on Superman.Posted September 26, 2013 10:17 pm
WAR CLOUDS ………………..Posted September 26, 2013 8:27 pm
The blue print to beat cloud is there.I’m sure stevenson isn’t a tard and has reviewed the tapes.cloud is going down by a suprise late koPosted September 26, 2013 5:16 pm
It IS kind of disgraceful to get beaten by a 48-year-old man… Stevenson was right to bring that up.. On the other hand Cloud is correct in saying, “Stevenson never fought NOBODY.”
However… Just because you’ve never been given the opportunity to fight anyone with a name, except for the China-chinned Dawson, doesn’t mean you can’t perform when somebody does finally give you the chance. I wouldn’t touch this fight because it’s one of those fights that can go either way… But in Montreal Stevenson definitely has the edge.Posted September 26, 2013 4:19 pm
Looking forward to this fight, Sky Sports are showing this one which is a bit of a surprise being that no British domestic fighters are being showcased. Sky has developed a disappointing trend of not crossing the Atlantic unless a domestic fighter is involved in the main event. It’s good to see then that Sky’s end of year line up has a good mix of cross Atlantic and domestic action.Posted September 26, 2013 3:07 pm
