“you are obviously an idiot with regards to your opinion on Pacquiao. You have no proof that Pacquiao is or was ever on PEDs . . .” WHOCARES, I’ve never accused Pacquiao* of juicing. only of being a cherrypicking, catchweight-compromising, promotional hype-job. “PAC was a kid when he started boxing in the featherweight division. . .” Pacquiao* started boxing in the flyweight division you boxing-ignorant Idiot. Btw, Pacquiao* recently, suddenly, and presumably overcame his fear(?) of needles and demanded improved testing for his upcoming bout v. Rios(?!). have You ever seen any of the several guys you’ve seen feint at the sight of needles not only overcome their fear but subsequently demand it as a preference? you’re the typically boxing-ignorant Pactarded* fanboy and easily DISmissed . . . . NEXT?

….And SO does Freddie Roach.

Boxtradamus

Pacquiao should learn how to come to ESB and read MY posts before his Fights. I stood here and SAID that Marquez had worked on his Power like I advised him TO and IF Pacquiao tried to go for the KO like his DUMB coach asked him TO he would get knocked out. ANYONE who has gone for the knockout vs. Marquez got THEMSELVES knocked out. Thats why Mayweather showed MUCH Boxing IQ and didn’t go for the knockout. He went for the decision. Katsidis and Juan Diaz went for the knockout against Marquez and got the SAME result that Pacquiao DID. SO PED’s have nothing to DO with it. SMARTS does. Pacquiao needs to go take a SMARTS class.

Even if Marquez was clean hiring the ped masking guru and becoming the bigger banger between the 2 lead rational minded people to only 1 conclusion.

Happyboy yes im one of the very few who point to the 1st kd as proof of Marquez cheating. The ko was a perfect punch Pac walked into the first kd was an amazing display of Marquez brand new out the box devastating punching power. Oh and lets not forget Marquez eating Pac bombs in the pocket as if they were tick tacks while looking to unleash his newly aquired tac. nukes.

SRed Bradley and Roach have made comments but stop short of blatantly accusing Marquez in fear of legal action. Both Berrera and Morales have blatantly accused Marquez. Its suspected that Marquez was denied fighter of the year because inner boxing circles believe Marquez cheated and lets not forget all the bloggers all over the internet case closed to many people believe he cheated.

@Te Tumbo; you are obviously an idiot with regards to your opinion on Pacquiao. You have no proof that Pacquiao is or was ever on PEDs. PAC was a kid when he started boxing in the featherweight division; he had just turned 16! He put on weight naturally as he matured and stopped trying to make weight. He is 5’6 and walks around in the upper 140s, which sounds natural and healthy. His physique never looked abnormal to me and bulked up as JMM’s physique now. JMM has to blame himself for being suspected, he hired a convicted PED coach. Pac always looked naturally athletic and knocked opponents out and he continued to do so moving up in weight. His speed killed so to speak! Given the “evidence”, JMM is more likely on PEDs than PAC, although in reality there is no evidence against both, they both past tested negative on numerous occasions and should not be accused. I regret that I suspected Marquez.
The whole accusation of Pacquiao juicing started in the Mayweather camp obviously because the Mayweathers wanted to tarnish Pac’s legacy to get their fighter ahead of him. It was a pathetic display of jealousy, cowardice and defamation. They were shut up legally by a court. The fact that PAC didn’t agree to random blood testing (random blood draws) at the time is an entirely different story. He should not be in the position to prove innocence. And, tattooing is different than blood draws. I have seen many people, even some tough guys, fainting when they had their blood drawn.

How about we pre-empt a bad judgement call and all the false claims of correct prediction now – go to fightjudge .com and score it live DURING the fight. Use the same screen name you have on here and then your take on the fight is saved and publicly visible, no more Monday morning quarterback predictions

Marquez and Pac haters can live in their bubble with that ko that has raised more questions than given answers because he has tarnished his legacy more than he’s lifted it. Im certainly one of many who once had great admiration for him and now we veiw him as one who sold his soul for a cheap win that we don’t reconize. His legacy was better before the 4th fight.

“Dudes attempts to legitimize Marquez ko over Pac is pathetic . . .” WTF is there to legitimize? Pacquiao* was nothing but a fellow pumped-up feather who started at flyweight(?!). Marquez’s nickname at higher weights has always been “Dinamita”. Get It Through Your Thick Pactarded Skull: Pacquiao* was NEVER that good and certainly not “great”. he was a cherrypicking promotional hype-job who is STILL targeting the losing fighter to revive his DEMOLISHED profile. thanks to Juan “DINAMITA” Marquez.

Two marvelously well conditioned athletes…. Tim Bradley is gonna book is first OFFICIAL loss this evening… Bradleys a damn good fighter and he truly is willing to go thru the fire to win but is he MORE willful than Marquez in this regard? Hells NO! Marquez did 42 rounds with Manny Pacquiao and despite eating hard shots and hitting the canvas 5 times he would NOT relent and when Pac Man REALLY fcked up he drilled him with the type of counter you see only a few times at the elite level between elite opponents…Bradley has been banged up ALOT in his last 2 fights and his commentary on his brain injuries post Provodnikov lead me to believe that the taller Marquez is gonna get to that chin and this time Bradley is not gonna get himself out of it… Marquez TKO round 9…..

All of these Pacquioa fan want Marquez to be juicing so they can have an excuse for Pacquioa being put to sleep. Just Take what truthfully happened Pacquioa fans, Marquez finally took it out of the judges hands and stopped being cheated. Pacquioa thought he was going for the kill and got killed.

The fight with Bradley I see Bradley winning as Marquez continues to grow old in the ring, in Marquez’s 3rd fight with Pacquioa he started to slow around the 7th round, in the 4th fight he was slowing down right before the KO punch. I would expect Bradley to know this and circle and out work Marquez for almost the whole fight. I have nothing against Marquez he is one of my favorite fighters, but I believe this might be just one fight too many. Hopefully I’m wrong and he gets his fifth title, but I think his time has passed and he will be out worked but not beat up bad and will continue to fight to get his fifth title.

My hat goes off to Bradley no one wants to give him credit for being more than your adverage fighter, but he is elite. Why, you might ask, he has beaten a few elite fighters in his career. He out worked Pacquioa and beat him which no one want to give him credit for, people quote bogus punch count number to try and prove their point. All you have to do is go back and count the punches yourself to see what really up. I say Bradley by split decision, because one judge is going to want to give it to Marquez.

I agree with Largo on this one….Tim should set a blistering pace from the off and by the third round Marq should be blowing and more concerned with conserving energy…He was fading fast in the Paq fight and I don’t think he can pull up that right hand again….No I don’t think Marqs on anything,as nothing has been proved yet…..This fight will be a big test for him….Time waits for no man….

Boxtradamus gets more predictions wrong than anyone in history. You could flip a quarter and do better. That could mean youth and speed will rule over age and craft. Dont worry about head knocks from Bradley. His noggin still hurts so bad he doesn’t want to bop anything with it. So he’ll just use speed, movement, and effective aggression. Marquez throws a least 10 varieties of right hands, Short ones, blooping ones, short hooking ones, roundhouse swings, arching overhand artillary shots, long range hooks, and downward chopping shots. Bradley cant mess up his ankles and has to stay on the move. He’s going to fight at a furious pace and his jab is the key to victory.

Bradley has taken it to a lot of older fighters, in the past. This time he’s in there with one that will capitalize on any mistakes he makes. If Bradley is fine, he’ll more than likely out work Marquez, if not he’s going to get hurt in there. Hopefully not badly.

Little Tim has the biggest heart in boxing-or any sport-once Holyfield retired…the only way Juan can beat him is by a clean KO shot, Pac style; if he can’t KO Bradley with one shot, he’ll lose by UD or TKO. My money is on little Tim by wide UD even though a TKO win won’t surprise me in the least…Bradley all the way.

Posted October 11, 2013 10:29 pm

Tomato Can

If Bradley has healed 100 percent from his fight with Provodnikov, he has a good chance against Marquez, if not, Marquez will hurt Bradley tomorrow night. Personally I think, Marquez will find a way to counter Bradley and catch him with something big. It’s all a matter how Bradley responds to that. On top of that, Bradley has skill, but also stands and throws combo’s while leaving his chin wide open. A fighter as crafty as Marquez will make him pay for that.

Posted October 11, 2013 10:24 pm

Tomato Can

Bradley lost the fight against Provodnikov, but he deservedly won the decision. THat being said, Provodnikov, hurt Bradley, but he took a lot of damage himself, his face was blown up like a baloon, after that fight.

I’m gonna take marquez in this one too. If Bradley can run and pot shot his way to victory that will be a terrible fight to watch. Really awesome if Bradley is destroyed by the guy who really beat him provodnikov and marques finishes him off with the marquez signature cou de grat he is developing.

Provodnikov gets all the credit though

Sticking with JMM to, unfortunately, damage Bradley.

Good point! Pac started his career at 105. I beleive was k.o. a few times and wasnt much of a k.o. puncher early in his career. Years later he is 147lb k.o. machine! And after being k.o. at 105 now he can absorb punishment from much bigger and stronger fighters! Hmmm. Seems a lil fishy to me! Just saying.

and y’all accusers can say “he’s off PED’s now” all you want to, cause that even makes LESS sense cause he weighs MORE than when he fought Pacquiao last year.

Posted October 11, 2013 7:52 pm

kid blast

“In my view, the style advantage goes to Marquez because Bradley is very short with short arms. Bradley compensates for this lack of range by being very busy and periodically unloading bursts of punches and outworking his opponents, but when he tried that with Provodnikov, he had to adjust and go to a another fight plan that may have left him damaged. Against Marquez, he needs to punch in bunches and then quickly back off (i.e., run) before JMM can counter. That’s easier said than done because JMM’s ability to counter is virtually unmatched. I see him stunning Tim with one during an exchange and then closing the show. In this respect, JMM is also a killer closer and will not let Timothy off the hook. JMM by TKO.”

Posted October 11, 2013 7:49 pm

The fact that Marquez has ONLY gained 2.5lbs in 3 years should be further proof that he is NOT on “PEDs” or “Roids”, people are saying he “looks like the hulk”, “is way bigger”, “got ripped” or as hecdog says “looks like a gorilla”….if he’s THAT HUGE, why does he only weigh 1.5lbs more than he weighed in against Pacquiao in their 4th fight? why does he ONLY weigh 2.5lbs than he did THREE YEARS ago?

Posted October 11, 2013 7:29 pm

Marquez must be taking some special PED’s cause somehow he “bulked up like the hulk” yet he ONLY weighs 1.5 pounds more than he did when he fought Pacquiao and only 2.5 pounds more than when he fought Floyd….wow, PEDS are greater than I though, they give you tons of muscle and look like a gorilla but you don’t gain any weight *sarcasm*
