Browne has an ok jab and a massive hook. His fitness is not great, his speed is slow, he is a plodder and if tagged can be hurt. He will do OK till he fights someone in the top 20. I think an in shape travis walker would have taken him. Not the Travis walker who had 3 day notice, looked like fat albert and did ok for 2 rounds till he was completely gasse. If richard towers in the top 20. It will be a great test for both men. If Towers can survive the first 4 rounds and keep the fight at distance he will win. Towers also hits hard and is faster than Browne. Good fight. Will it happen???Posted October 16, 2013 2:04 am
Talking about BrownePosted October 15, 2013 3:27 pm
Check him out on YouTube.
DMX – Toney seemed to take it serious enough to fool you into picking him for a win at the time.Posted October 15, 2013 2:17 pm
When James Toney fought Holyfield (possibly his best heavyweight performance) he weighed 217lbs
Against the Klits, Adamek, Povetkin, Haye, Thompson, Pulev, Browne will only have a puchers chance at best. But against the likes of Price, Fury, Wilder, id tip Browne by KO.Posted October 15, 2013 5:39 am
Lucas Browne? Not much classical boxing ability, but give respect where respect is due, this guy probably has the most devastating right hand in heavy weight boxing right now, he could give anyone without an iron sturdy chin fits for 12 rounds with his deceptively quick selective pot shotting. This is where Browne succeeds without the credit given. Hes big enough to keep you at bay, but doesn’t fight like a normal fighter which makes him awkward, as he plods away setting you up trying to land that massive right hand 5 times a round. Might not be good enough for the Klits and students of the science, but he could hang with the so called contenders of today, and will no doubt have them running from his challenge as he is definitely a threat to anyones ’0′Posted October 15, 2013 5:33 am
Apparently the story goes that Browne would always go get himself a tattoo to cheer himself up when he got slapped about and got his arse kicked
I rest my casePosted October 15, 2013 4:06 am
lucas is not a very good boxer, however he does bring excellent attitude to the game. he trains hard, is humble and respectful of his oipponents and will travel anywhere to fight anyone. if only he had skills!Posted October 15, 2013 1:14 am
I meant to say I know too little about TowersPosted October 14, 2013 10:08 pm
This guy has as good as chance as anyone, He should just stay clear of Parker. A fight with Price would be interesting. I know toPosted October 14, 2013 10:07 pm
Annonynymos- No I gave a fact! All this site was about after both WK losses were about his chin from both articles and comments. As far as not seeing this guy, yes I’ve never seen him as I said, but if the guy beats T Walker inside 8, he gets my respect. And then traveling to another continent to fight another undefeated fighter, again respect. If you can’t see this your the brain dead moron!Posted October 14, 2013 8:48 pm
Hey, That’s my Bike!!!
Anonymous – Obviously you can’t read or interpret simple sentences. I clearly said I was not comparing him to W. Klit. You are obviously looking for a reaction, sitting there puffed up behind your keyboard. Grow up.Posted October 14, 2013 8:08 pm
“I’ve never seen Browne but …”
And then you go on to give your educated opinion??? You never even seen him fight!!
You total F’ing idiot. Shut up you ridiculous brainless moron.Posted October 14, 2013 7:55 pm
Hey thats my Bike- I agree with both posts. I’ve never seen Browne but he did beat Walker whos a decent trial horse and hes willing to put up his 0 loss record against the same while traveling to fight him. Props to him! I unlike annonomys was on this site when WK got KOD by both Sander and Brewster and like you said all the talk was this guys hyped and has china for a chin. Look at him now! Not a fan but he is dominant.Posted October 14, 2013 6:36 pm
If Richard Towers uses his long jab, keeps his gloves up high by his chin, uses his feet to move in and out of range with speed, and boxes smart, he’ll beat this Aussie easily. But I’ve watched Richard before, his weakness is that he carries his gloves way too low and he runs out of gas very quickly.Posted October 14, 2013 4:49 pm
Hey, That’s my Bike!!!
I should clarify that I’m not comparing Browne to W. Klit at all. Just don’t understand why people are so quick to write someone off on the way they look (tatts), when they know absolutely nothing about them. By the way, if he is fat then i wish I was as obese as him.Posted October 14, 2013 3:46 pm
Browne seems limited but also seems willing to fight anyone. His skill set isnt great by a long shot but he seems pretty tough…hell I wouldnt mind seeing him fight Wilder, atleast Browne wouldnt be the type of guy to lay down and not fight.Posted October 14, 2013 2:41 pm
LOL! Even after Prices to heavy losses he could still beat Browne with ease.Posted October 14, 2013 2:36 pm
Hey, That’s my Bike!!!
Geez some unforgiving so-called boxing fans. The guy is just starting out and he has better names on his record than Wilder. He is doing the right thing by trying to step up the competition through the Commonwealth. You all immediately look for negatives in a novice thinking he can’t improve. W. Klit looked to be overrated after a couple of KO defeats but look at him now. Browne is the type of fighter who should get support. He isn’t a loud mouth, he is humble and is willing to fight anyone which is very rare in the heavyweight division recently. He tried to call out the other Aussies but Leapai and Haumono seem to have gone into hiding. Next head for Britain and beat on them some more. That Parker has some goods about him and that would be a cracker down the track.Posted October 14, 2013 2:35 pm
This dude Browne 17-0 (15 KO) has been under the radar for an undefeated heavyweight prospect. Any scouting reports on his ability? Wonder what his upside is.Posted October 14, 2013 2:29 pm
That Parker boy will be the brain matter out of this bloke’s ears!Posted October 14, 2013 2:11 pm
It looks like brown fought james tony, I never knew that until today. Tony looked more like fat albert than a boxer. Lucas brown may be another wilder.Posted October 14, 2013 1:19 pm
Just watched him on youtube. He looks fat and a poor boxer. The brothers K are in peak physical condition particularly Wlad. There’s a world of difference between Lucas and a good quality heavyweight. This guy carries his hands low, has no head movement, his chin high, a good quality pro would KO Lucas easily. He looks like a club bouncer who suddenly got the idea of being a ‘boxer’ and we’ve seen that a million times and they always end up getting KO’d once they step up to the big leagues. Deontay Wilder is the nearest thing to a threat to the brothers K and even then I wouldn’t give him much of a chance.Posted October 14, 2013 12:24 pm
Another boxing build up in Australia. I just see his fights in you tube.Posted October 14, 2013 12:01 pm

Tattoos dont win fights.Posted October 14, 2013 11:25 am
It’s jail break city for Lucas BrownePosted October 14, 2013 11:17 am
Wouldnt be surprisd if Towers wins this. He was rising quite well before becoming inactive over the last year or so.Posted October 14, 2013 8:43 am
2 easy wins for Browne. If fight happens and that’s a very big ifPosted October 14, 2013 8:16 am
Poor browne. That fight with towers would have been awesome. Maybe he should just fight Chisora, he will fight anyone and must be peeded that boytsov would not fight him. At least the fight in a few weeks between mago and perez should be a war. Maybe face the winner or another well ranked name. Only issue with Browne is he move slow and cannot maintain a high workrate for 12 rounds. Good win against Walker but it was not the walker that went 12 rounds with Pulev or the one that fouht arreola. Browne still needs a test.Posted October 14, 2013 7:53 am
