Alvarado is going to get annihilated.Posted October 17, 2013 1:00 pm
Even if Provo is training on the moon, he’s still taking Mike out…Posted October 16, 2013 2:41 pm
“Where is Provo training? This is a very important question because the fight is going to be in Denver and this is a problem in itself. Denver’s altitude does not forgive; it takes a little while to acclimatize to this type of environment.” – Good point. It takes a boxer 1 week to fully acclimate to high elevation. I’d like to know where Provodnikov is training and what his plan is for fight week. Beat reporters should’ve picked up on this already.Posted October 16, 2013 1:25 pm
Provo is mauling Alvarado into submission, middle to late round, altitude or not.Posted October 16, 2013 9:02 am
Guys: I understand that many of you favor Provo but the altitude will be a factor. I used to live and train in Colorado and when I used to travel and comeback, i used to feel my lungs burn.Posted October 16, 2013 8:52 am
Provo by stoppagePosted October 16, 2013 5:36 am
as Alvarado himself describe, he will do whatever the situation demands. if he’s hit back, he’ll box. if stings Provodnikov, he’ll go for the kill. i anticipate that Alvarado’s uppercuts will be finding a home early and often in this fight; busting Provodnikov up good; and resulting in a 9th-round KO win for Mike. the only other alternative is for it to end on cuts. Alvarado’s already got them and Provodnikov figures to collect a couple if this fight goes past six.Posted October 16, 2013 1:00 am
On Herron’s show last Sunday, James Gogue mentioned that Provodnikov was training at sea level. Alvarado is training at the altitude (in Denver, CO) he’ll be fighting in. While I also favor Provodnikov, the altitude could take a toll on him as the fight wears on.Posted October 16, 2013 12:37 am
If Mike puts on 13 pounds overnight like he did prior to the Rios II match he may give up just enough agility to get caught early on. I take Provo by total KO in round 4.Posted October 15, 2013 11:28 pm
Where is Provo training?
Posting on here is a pain in the ass at times!
So the question for the group is as follows,
Mike gets pissed and jacked up ready to kill when hit well by another fighter….the RUSSIAN WILL PUSH THAT BUTTON….MIKE WILL GO TOE TO TOE IN RAGE….AND……well we must wait and see the final result.
End of the night will look like a ROB ZOMBIE MOVIEPosted October 15, 2013 8:59 pm
UgggggghPosted October 15, 2013 8:56 pm
This is a sicko main event guys. Guaranteed carnage, a fight for the bloodthirsty among us. I like guys who come and fight but occasionally they are too game for their own good and it makes you cringe like watching a dogfight. This just may be one of those fights.Posted October 15, 2013 8:23 pm
flash knock down
Americans are really funny did you notice how Mike was giving that little laugh as he passes through the grave yard the Russian never cracked a smile. This is going to be another war I love both fighters but I am going with the Russian. Most of you know me as a gambler bet at your own risk don’t take my word on this match up because it’s to close. This is a pick’em fight I feel the Russian is to strong for Mike over the long hall.Posted October 15, 2013 8:20 pm
I have Provodvikov by ko/stoppage winner in 6-7 roundsPosted October 15, 2013 7:07 pm
I’m picking Provo, I think he is too strong for Alvarado.Posted October 15, 2013 5:36 pm
This is going to be one for the slugger fans ,its going to be firework for sure!!!
Looking forward to this, got a feeling it will be a war and perhaps a FOTY candidate. Fingers crossed :)Posted October 15, 2013 3:12 pm
