Now , here is something that makes a lot of sense : There is a rumor that Wlad’s next opponent might be Huck and people
are already lamenting that it’s ” another
cruiserweight ” fight . What’s interesting is , that by most accounts Huck beat Povetkin . Practically NOBODY has any
objections of Wlad fighting Povetkin , yet
fighting the guy who actualloy beat Povetkin , would ” be disappointing “.

That’s not what it says in German news. Povetkin will probably not fight Wlad. Wlad is lining Huck up as his next fight after Wach. It suggests that Wlad does not see Wach as a threat. Wlad plans to KO Wach. Huck is absolutely no threat to Wlad. Wlad could carry Huck to make the fight interesting. Huck may pay more dearly than Adamek did against Vitali. Wlad and Huck have a huge German fan base. Wlad wants to fight Huck in Germany. The articles suggests Huck as a interesting person and can sell himself (meaning Germany). “Huck ist ein interessanter Typ, der sich auch gut verkaufen lässt.” It looks like another Cruiser beat down.

I don’t think Vladimir is gonna fight Huck. He has Wach and Povetkin as his mandatory challengers and a huge line of undefeated fresh fighters ahead. Huck doesn’t fit at all.

It`ll be disappointing if he does face Huck next, especially not so long after facing another Cruiser in MOrmeck. Huck isn`t even the best cruiserweight in the world let along the best heavyweight challenge. Huck has unfinished business with Cunningham who has also moved up to cruiser, and couldn`t get over Afolabi who is very limited himself.
Wlads a great boxer but these aren`t great challenges for him.

Tons of folks Steward’s age get cancer, so it’s no shock. Hope he beats it …. “Alexander Povetkin will be trying to fend off the bid of mandatory challenger and former WBC and IBF Champion Hasim Rahman.” … This should take a minimum of fending off. I can’t wait for the day Povetkin fights a tough heavyweight. He’s the biggest cherry-picker I’ve ever seen.

Mr Rubes

That’s terrible, I hope it isn’t a serious cancer… All the best Manny

Mr Rubes

Personally I would much prefer to see Wlad take on Fury, or Wilder, or one of hose guys you mentioned over Huck. But I’m just saying that it is looking likely that it won’t be one of those guys, it will be Huck straight after Povetkin. That is currently the reality of things

Fk, I just have learned that the legendary trainer Emanuel Steward recently had a cancer surgery…Holy FK! He is in hospital now and will undergo a chemical therapy. I wish you beat this fkn damned sickness Mr Steward. All the best to you!!!

With all due respect Bill, it doesn’t really matter what you ‘think’ I’m reading this from different German sources and so stating a fact, which is quoting Bönte himself. It is a fight that also makes quite a bit of sense since both are very popular in German, it would sell out many stadiums. Huck made a good account of himself against heavyweight Povetkin last time out. Let’s say this, after Povetkin next year, Huck will be 85 % a possibility straight after. Huck is also established, much more than Abdusalamov, Boytsov, Wilder and all those guys. Particularly in Germany.

Povtkin will probably come with some stunt and Wlad can fill the gap with something else, maybe Arreola.

Mr Rubes. Huck? I don’t think so. Vladimir’s list currently is – WACH, then PUS_SY POVETKIN (mandatory fight), then probably the winner of Pulev-Ustinov couple (IBF mandatory challenger), then any unbeaten top rated fresh heavyweight like Fury, Abdusalamov, Boytsov, Helenius, Price, Mitchell, Wilder (very interesting match imo), and maybe our old buddy Chris Arreola…All the best

Big news right now is that after gets through with Povetkin, he will be fighting Huck after that. A very popular fight with Germany.

Mr Rubes

I like the comparrision that Ustinov fights like Vitali. He fights very like him, not a coincidence since they are both former professional kickboxers.

The winner should be facing Wlad by summer 2013. No excuses

Yeah, Ustinov v. Pulev is about as close as we will ever get to a fight Klitschko v. Klitschko. Ustinov has a style like Vitali and Pulev is more athletic like Wlad. Ustinov is slightly taller than Vitali and Pulev is slightly shorter than Wlad. Should be a great fight between two undefeated fighters.

PULEV-USTINOV is a GREAT FIGHT FOR THE DIVISION. Definitely will be watching it!
