SREDMOND is correct about JMM. What did he do to deserve a rematch except whine as usual.? If the fight had been compelling, maybe. But this one was a boring chess match ala Ishe Smith vs. Carlos Molina–ZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Guys like Prod, Alvarado, Rios, and Paq are the compelling fighters, though Mile High is now used up.
Bradley v Ruslan. Let’s get it on. Hombre Up Timothy.Posted October 20, 2013 1:43 pm

Bradley deserves a fight vs Mayweather even though he gets dismantled and beaten badly. He has no chance whatsoever. His style is perfectly made for Mayweather.
Mayweather’s only challenges left are:
The rest of these guys like Garcia, Bradley, Khan, and Martinez get slaughtered.Posted October 19, 2013 3:52 am
I finally seen the PAC and bradley fight and seen a not interested PAC man fighting to put on a show as he says and that the reason why he on a down hill. He got punches in on Bradley easily but let Bradley still tap manny with body punch many times I counted over 10 when they were holding each other, manny sparing is a mistake on training as he let’s his partner punch him in the midsection as a way to say he can take the punch then he comes back a blast away again. But you can’t do that in a fight as this pit a pat punch still count as a punch and it’s about numbers, and being active in all rounds,
“Here they are Mayweather’s options
I’d like to see Mayweather call out Bradley. Possibly rematch Alvarez. With no catchweight. Just cuz.Posted October 19, 2013 12:47 am

gina is a bigger draw than this fraud. hbo calling him a “superstar” in their promo for the replay of last week’s fight. on what planet is this no one a star? could he sell 1,000 tix anywhere in the world? this guy’s a joke. talented but a bore and absolutely zero fan base or negotiating power.Posted October 18, 2013 8:17 pm
Nothing to clear up, you didn’t win that fight. Bradley does not equal dollars. Finally Pacquiao vs Mayweather may finally happen because Pacquiao is the only one that brings money to Mayweather. All other names don’t make money. Unless your Alvarez but that guy has a country behind him as does Manny. Outside of Bradley’s family no one wants to see him fight.Posted October 18, 2013 7:19 pm
If Bradley wants to fight Pacquiao — he should go knock somebody out.
– Bradley has 12 knockouts
– Gina Carano has more knockouts than Bradley
– Gina Carano is retired and she still has more knockout power than Bradley
Nobody wants to watch this guy fight.
If Bradley wants the big bucks and command big fights, he needs to get some knockouts.Posted October 18, 2013 6:42 pm
I’m not a Bradley fan, because of how he handled the Pacquiao fight, but Bradley isn’t stupid enough to fight Provodnikov again.Posted October 18, 2013 1:17 pm
Marquez does NOT deserve a rematch against Bradley… !!! this notion that EVERY fight should turn into a tourney is simply ridiculous JMM lost plain and simple his protests are pretty much a given so there is no need to address that… Pac vs Bradley was VERY controversial despite the dominant consensus that Pacquiao won (I agree) that said Bradley outboxed the guy who waxed Manny and they are both Top Rankers so its a natural bout (Bradley has a strap)… That said Arum is gonna do EVERYTHING in his power to get a Pac vs Marquez 5 going due to the superior revenues in play… That series is played out but it will still sell better than Bradley vs Pacquiao…Posted October 18, 2013 12:13 pm
If Marquez really had Pacs number, he’d be 4-0 now, but he’s not. Vernon Forrest had Mosely’s number, 2-0. Mosely had DLH’s number, 2-0. Marquez? No where near in comparison.Posted October 18, 2013 12:10 pm

I’d rather listen to Kenny G while watching Molina fight Ishe Smith than watch a Bradley-JMM rematch,
Pac vs. Bradley makes great sense, but Let us not write of Rios just yet. If Pac beats Rios, then a Bradley fight would be a great way for Pac to end his career. Of course, should he beat Bradley (again), a Mayweather fight gets on the table along with more money than there is money.
Lots of interesting options here.Posted October 18, 2013 11:38 am
It kills me how people want to change Great fighters like Roy Jones and Manny Pacquiao into SOMEONE who has NOT accomplished HALF as much as they did when they run into the inevitable speed bump… Both Jones and Pacquiao were fighters of the decade and multi-weight champs that have historic accomplishments that make them first ballot LOCKS for the HOF… Pacquiaos an all action fighter that took 2 to give 4 and most nights that resulted in resounding victories, now that he has been knocked off for the time being people want him to fight like Mayweather… Well HE CAN’T just like Floyd might not be Undefeated if he was as much of a gambler and slugger as Pacquiao… There is NO boxer who does everything perfectly, if Mayweather had one punch fight ending power then his bouts would never get past the 4th round and we would not see his technical exhibitions, if Pacquiao was more the boxer, less the slugger he would probably NOT have become famous and wealthy doing PPV’s at 130 pounds… Pacquiao is a GREAT fighter but Marquez just has his number its that simple, it does not mean we vacate Pacquiao smashing HOF fighters like they were made of peanut brittle before JMM welded his face to the canvas…Posted October 18, 2013 11:10 am
I have to admit, Pacquiao is one dimensional fighter, because he wanted to be, he said he can be good counter puncher but he is worried that the fight will be boring, he is looking after the fans appreciation and not his well being, he won’t change his style, others can adopt another strategy depend on circumstances,
@ Bustajay; the reality is that one could argue Tim “Baby” Bradley lost the Pacquiao and Provodnikov fights (due to poor judging) and did ok against an old Marquez… He is no Mayweather*, has a much better personality, and I agree, a fight between them would be horrible and Bradley would lose. IMO, Bradley still has to prove himself in rematches against Provodnikov and Pacquiao to get broader acceptance by fans. But I do agree, he seems like a great hard-working guy and is a good boxer. His only issue is lack of knockout power.Posted October 18, 2013 9:45 am
Tim goes toe to toe to prove a point with the Russian and is called retarded, then he boxes and still receives no credit.
I think the kid is all class.
PAC side stepped Tim avoiding a rematch for a reason. JMM expected Tim to fight and not box.
I finally watched the Pac-Bradley fight. I scored it a draw. The rounds were close.Posted October 18, 2013 9:12 am

“I don’t care if we win or lose the rematch, as long as we do it without controversy. If it’s a clear outcome either way, we can move forward with no regrets.”
Why do a rematch if it’s not to win and prove critics wrong? I find it very hard to believe that Joel doesn’t care if Timothy loses. If Timothy fights Manny again and loses, his forward momentum towards a world championship is going to be stymied. Then Marquez will be whining louder than ever for a rematch.
That being said, what choices does Tim have except to fight Top Rank fighters? Rematches with Pacquiao and JMM are where the money is. I don’t care to see Bradley fight Provodnikov again, or Alvarado. I mean really, their upcoming fight is at jr. welterweight. Tim is an established welterweight. If he’s not going for the big money fights he should be going for more welterweight championships. Fights with Prov or Alvarado aren’t going to bring him those kinds of purses.Posted October 18, 2013 1:29 am

The fact Pacquiao is now asking for random drug testing after getting KO by Marquez, proves who ducked whom during that fight build up. Also Floyd taking on all challengers that agreed to take the test first, proves that point again as well.Posted October 17, 2013 9:09 pm

Bradley wasn’t 100% healthy in that fight & still had a close fight with Pac; a healthy Tim will box Pac’s ears off. Tim by decision.Posted October 17, 2013 8:14 pm
@ Papo and The Prince. After hearing about the decision I was outraged. A week later I watched it on HBO. After viewing it, I was left wondering why everyone was calling it a robbery. The fight was very close! You could say to be champ you have to beat the champ and call it for Pacquaio. But you could also say Tim may not have won the fight but he sure didn’t lose it either. Bottom line: The decision could have went either way.Posted October 17, 2013 8:09 pm
Bradley did nothing wrong but stepped in the ring and gave his best performance against Pacquiao. The judges rewarded Bradley for never giving up in the fight, and punished Pacquiao for trying to pull an Oscar–meaning doing nothing for the whole round until the last 30 seconds. HBO’s commentary was ridiculously biased not giving Bradley credit for anything he was doing, especially when he was winning the late rounds. Bradley has shown both skill and heart in all of his fights and deserves credit for doing his job in the ring. Both Pacquiao and now Marquez got humbled because of Bradley, and Marquez looks worst of the two, because at least Manny was gracious in defeat.Posted October 17, 2013 7:57 pm
This fight needs to happen, if Pac beats Rios, which should not be too difficult. Like others stated, Pac should have been the winner of the Bradley-Pac fight, but it wasn’t a one-sided fight as some suggest. I chose Pac to beat Bradley on that fight and thought he did. Nevertheless, after seeing the fight on more than one occasion, I believe that Bradley has what it takes to bet Pac on a rematch.
The problem for Bradley is that other than winning the fight, he’s in a no win situation. If he gets the rematch and beats Pac, most everyone will say Pac was in the decline. If he loses, then we all know how that will play out. However, I would advise him to go for the rematch, beat Pac and perhaps go for a good payday against Floyd.Posted October 17, 2013 7:55 pm
Bradley could have easily have boxed the ears off Provodnikov. But Bradley decided to take a risk and slug it out with him. Why you ask? Because Bradley knew he needed a crowd-pleasing fight in order to score a big-money fight again. Once he got the big-money fight he once again used his outstanding boxing abilities to win the fight [over Marquez]. As for the Pacquiao fight — that decision was really a coin toss, but there was such a love for Pacquiao that bias had fans seeing a “robbery.” It wasn’t. Pacquiao missed with most of his “big shots” and Bradley never set down enough to sting Pacquaio with the many counters he landed.Posted October 17, 2013 7:45 pm
Pacquiao is tired of being Marquez and Bradley’s cash cow.Posted October 17, 2013 7:32 pm
Killing Moon The Soothsayer
Honestly I think people should give Bradley a break….The only gift he got was the pacman fight IMO(And a disgrace, but not his fault) Provo and Marquez fights i had him winning by very small margins…But nonetheless winning….
I think Bradley should be given the respect he deserves…In his last two fights he’s shown he isn’t just a physical headbutter with a high work-rate…As many and myself included stated….He’s shown guts and slickness against great opponents and in worldclass fights…He’s bringing exitement to boxing.
And personally I wouldn’t mind a rematch either to get a wrong right or Bradley becoming a real superstar….Because it’s clear that he’ made of something really special…The hate on him for getting a gift,His crisis in the ring…And the brutal punches he took like a champ in his last fight.
Bradley is a win for boxing.Posted October 17, 2013 7:22 pm
Translation: No fight with Floyd Mayweather. Only in house Top Rank fighters get Tim Bradley, starting with Pacquiao.Posted October 17, 2013 7:19 pm
There is no business to settle, Manny beat him cleanly and clearly.
The Provodnikov fight – now THERE is some unfinished business.
Oh what is that Tim – ohh you meant $$$$$ when you said business.Posted October 17, 2013 7:15 pm
Thankfully, this fight will not get made. Bradley will want the bank. Koncz will push for a more attractive GBP fighter. Don’t care for Floyd. Try Garcia, Matthysse, Broner…new challenges. What will we see with Bradley again? If Pacquiao can catch him???Posted October 17, 2013 5:58 pm
E in Denver
A money grab from Bradley’s camp & nobody can blame them. But the only unfinished business from that fight was canning the judges. Otherwise I would rather see Pac vs. Marquez AGAIN. Bradley was competitive but no way he won. Bradley has other more interesting options at welter but they won’t bring in as much $$(unless he lands a fight w/ Jr).Posted October 17, 2013 5:43 pm
If Manny had been given the clear points victory he deserved after their first fight, Pacman would have received very little credit, as Bradley was seen as just another lower level fighter. Yet ironically if Manny repeats this performance exactly, In the year 2014, without the corrupt judges, it’ll probably be seen as a fantastic win and he’ll get praised for it.Posted October 17, 2013 5:27 pm
Pacquiao has already decisively beaten Bradley.Posted October 17, 2013 5:14 pm
Tim’s schedule could look like this:
Jan 2014 vs Vanes Martirosan Showtime fighter?
It looks like Tim’s going to have a hard time fighting the majority of the fighters above.Posted October 17, 2013 4:53 pm
Vanes Vanes Vanes……..Being a big Bradley fan for years now I would think Pacman as a down the road rematch. Tim won that fight although 98% of the experts scoring the fight had it in Manny’s favor (as per Boxrec) so a rematch could brew and pressurize for another two years. Floyd is going to be left scrambling for opponents to fill his 4 fight remainder with Showtime – let him come chasing Bradley for a match in 2015. I myself would like to see Tim avenge his amateur LOSS to Vanes on the professional stage! Martirosan can lose the 7 pounds with no trouble if offered a Vegas chance at Bradley and man what a great night that would be.
Tim’s schedule could look like this:
Jan 2014 vs Vanes Martirosan
Pac must beat rios 1st. And that will not be an easy task. But if he beats rios i like bradley by ud. Bradley will outbox pac. Pac is on the decline and bradley seems to be getting better! Bradley is arum’s new cash cow and arum is bout ready to cash pac out!Posted October 17, 2013 4:16 pm

Bradley vs Pac rematch—-Bradley by clear decision.Posted October 17, 2013 3:57 pm
Yes, Bradley will travel all the way to China, to defend his title, against the challenger Pacquiao. I doubt the fight will happen otherwise, and it has nothing to do with American judges.Posted October 17, 2013 3:56 pm
Floyd vs Garcia—Floyd by UD; Floyd vs Tim—Floyd by decision, in a competitive fight.Posted October 17, 2013 3:56 pm
Tim Bradley isn’t one of my favorite fighters to watch, but you have to give him props for wanting to clear up things with Manny Pacquiao. Deep down, Tim and his trainer know they didn’t win that fight. Tim fights everyone, and always gives it 100%. Yes, I do agree that his last three fights have been very controversial, but then again, he’s not the judges. Mr. Arum might have some pull in those fights, and again, it’s not Tim’s fault. Timothy Bradley does deserve a rematch with Manny Pacquiao or even a fight with Mayweather, which I think he would be out boxed for 12 rounds. Either way, he has earned a big pay day. I’m sure Arum can make it work tax wise to have Manny fight in the USA unless these other countries can come up with large purses.Posted October 17, 2013 3:55 pm
And the reason Pac is fighting in China is because of the tax rate. But I don’t think he understands is that he has to pay the IRS and Bob Arum and most of his money goes to ArumPosted October 17, 2013 3:48 pm
You do realize in China they will have American judges judging the Rios vs Pac fight right? And in America you can have judges from different countries. The promoters have the right to say they don’t want a certain judge.Posted October 17, 2013 3:47 pm
If he gets, that will not happen. Floyd is too fast for Garcia. Garcia needs someone that is going to throw more than 1 or 2 punches. That will not happen because Floyd only throws 1 to 2 punches at a time. I am not saying he is not deserving but at this time Bradley is the more deserving now. Garcia should have a fight or 2 at 147 before challenging Floyd.Posted October 17, 2013 3:46 pm
Manny has no more interest in fighting in the USA because of the American Judging System…..will Bradley accept to fight Manny in China!!!!!Posted October 17, 2013 3:37 pm
Danny Garcia is the most deserving… and he’s a puncher. If he gets a powerful left hook on Floyd there will be a different reaction than if Bradley gets a good left hook on Floyd.
Bradley doesn’t want the Floyd fight yet… The only guy he wants is Pacquiao… Who can blame him? Tim doesn’t judges fights he fights them.
Floyd in response to C J Ross.., “I can’t control what the judges do.”Posted October 17, 2013 3:24 pm
Pacquiao has no interest in fighting Bradley. Bradley does not have gate.Posted October 17, 2013 3:16 pm
Floyd and Pac will never fight because Pac is with Top Rank. So people stop saying hopefully we will get this fight if this happens. It is not gonna happen. Just like Bradley will not get a fight with Floyd if he is still with Top Rank. Heck Bradley is the most deserving fighter out there that deserves a shot at Floyd.Posted October 17, 2013 3:15 pm
bradley is a fraud put up by the promoters and the media bradley was beaten in his last 3 fights pacquiao provodnikov and now JMMPosted October 17, 2013 2:54 pm
Bradley.., “If I lost the Pacquiao fight it would have been better. With people constantly saying it was a robbery it’s hard to move on. It’s just a constant thing of people bringing up the fight and saying I got a gift.
I’ve beaten the man who knocked Pacquiao dead. Now I need to fight Pacquiao again. Win or lose, I would like an uncontroversial winner.”Posted October 17, 2013 2:46 pm
I got to say 1 thing to like about provodnikov is that he said I thought I won the Bradley fight but when I saw the replay I agree Bradley won!, that’s where Bradley lost me he talks about his win over pacman like if he beat him and not like he revieved an early Xmas present, and everytime he talks in that subject he loses my respect more and more not caus I’m a pacman fan but because he’s not realistic with his own selfPosted October 17, 2013 2:37 pm
I agree.., Let Tim do the rematch with Manny next spring — if Pac manages a clear victory over Brandon Rios, which should happen.
The stink of the Pacquaio-Bradley decision has to be obliterated — just like Lewis and Holyfield needed to fight a rematch after the horrible decision in their first fight. Those are the 2 worst decisions of all time, and Bradley isn’t to blame for what CJ Ross and Duane Ford did.
Let Floyd fight Danny Garcia next — and if everything falls into place like it should — fight the winner of the Pacquiao-Bradley rematch in the fall of 2014. That should get us to Mayweather vs Pacquaio … with any luck.Posted October 17, 2013 2:20 pm
“The marquez loss could have happened to any boxer. Just a perfect punch.” That was a perfect punch, but actually Tim Bradley was hit by pretty much the same punch by Provodnikov, in the first round of their fight. Only thing was, Tim somehow stayed conscious, and kept on fighting.Posted October 17, 2013 2:05 pm
As mentioned before, if Pacquiao beats Rios, this should be Arum’s only option for both Pacquiao and Bradley. That being said, Bradley better start aquainting himself to China, cause that’s where he’ll have to fight Pacquiao, even though he’ll be defending his belts.Posted October 17, 2013 1:59 pm
if Pac survives Rios-big IF- & the fight with Tim is made, i have Tim by UD.Posted October 17, 2013 1:50 pm
Since there is still the riff between GB and TR this fight makes sense. I thought Pac won the first one as many did but I had it a lot closer than most people did. As someone said down the thread that Pac has been too nice and hasn’t pushed the gas in the later rounds I don’t think it is a matter of being nice. I don’t think Pac has that second wind like he used to. We had scene in other recent fights of him not picking up the pace as the rounds went on. Pac has been slowing down. I haven’t seen Bradley vs Marquez yet as I couldn’t justify spending money on the card but it appears Bradley went back to being a boxer unlike his previous fight. If Pac beat Rios and looks good doing so this fight makes sense. If Pac loses its time to hang them up. Had a great career.Posted October 17, 2013 1:47 pm
MATT: IMO, you are right on target! Well-said!!Posted October 17, 2013 1:29 pm
IF Bradley wins the rematch, that does not mean that he won the first fight. However, a Bradley win will probably be constructed as a blanket statement that he won their first fight — which will be an over-generalization at its very worst. Okay if they re-match, but Pacquiao won a REAL victory in the first one. I had it 115-113 for Pacquiao — not an oversweeping win — but still very real — and NOT GIFTED.Posted October 17, 2013 1:27 pm
The reason it stings so much is because even his own team know he lost! A rematch would be more interesting. Pac has been too ‘nice’ in some fights and not stepped on the gas. I think he will either come back looking brilliant or look shot and retire. Doubt it will be anything inbetween. I hope for boxing it’s the former! The marquez loss could have happened to any boxer. Just a perfect punch.Posted October 17, 2013 1:16 pm
I would love to see them fight again on HBO not HBO PPV Would not buy itPosted October 17, 2013 1:10 pm
If Pac loses to Bradley, which I think will happen and by KO then there is no point in fighting again. He should just move on. Fighting someone that is not as good as they once where is not very fulfilling if you win. So if he still showing that shattered chin then I would leave it alone.Posted October 17, 2013 1:00 pm
Makes total sense if Pacman wins, and if Mayweather gets his next opponent sorted before the Rios fight. Interesting stuff this lot.Posted October 17, 2013 12:58 pm
yep, they need to rematch for sure.Posted October 17, 2013 12:56 pm
I think Tim should leave it with Pac. Pac might be ruined now, who knows? The old addage about a fighters punch being the last thing to go still makes Pac a real threat and Bradley should move forwards. Cannot imagine the interest. apart from in Asia, would make that much money. Im guessing that’s the real reason Tim is wanting this fight.Posted October 17, 2013 12:52 pm
