Hopkins was raped in the prison showers over and over again
Beenard, you are a disgrace to the sport! The dirtiest most boring idiot to ever lace up the gloves! Joe Cal show did whoop yo ass! Homie! Ain’t nuttin you can do about it! I do hope and pray you fight Kovalev and he knocks you out of the ring onto the floor! He would retire your big mouth!Posted October 18, 2013 11:36 pm
FA……you said it perfectly!!Posted October 18, 2013 9:03 pm
One of VINTAGE Hopkins last most technical fights was against Trinidad. That fight was nowhere boring, it showed how a ring should be utilized against a banger with when & how to strike! Imo, a virtuoso performance, for sure!! For the most part, the guy took pride in his craft while he resorted to some very DUMB psychological ploys – using the “white boy” phrase against Calzaghe, throwing the PR flag to the ground against Trinidad! Also the clinching and grabbing in his past prime stage – to reserve energy is a STINKER!!!Posted October 18, 2013 8:57 pm
This PARTICULAR Anonymous is having a MELTDOWN, hopefully he’s in the institution behind an immovable keyboard locked in his cell! Please stay away from glass or fire! Btw, this is a BOXING SIGHT!!Posted October 18, 2013 8:19 pm
Bhop is a guaranteed HOF fighter but to me his status has declined even as his historical importance increased with his advanced age. In the 90s he was one of my favorite boxers to watch. He wasn’t as boring with the excessive holding and fouls and detached approach to boxing. He had great skills but also brought the heat and tried to KO opponents. People forget about that now.Posted October 18, 2013 8:15 pm
i think g/ay g’ay is the mouthy idiot.Posted October 18, 2013 8:12 pm

Jones was shot 5 years BEFORE fighting Calzaghe! So I guess we can give Glen Johnson, Tarver, Danny Green AND Lebedev MUCH more honor & respect than Calzaghe since they KO the “washed up” version of Roy 1st!!Posted October 18, 2013 6:00 pm
@Bulawayo2…..Jones got knocked out by Tarver after Jones lost considerable muscle weight AFTER coming down from winning a heavyweight title from Ruiz! How can you determine that Calzaghes chin is better, when they havent fought the same people – except Hopkins and the hype job Lacy? Neither one of those guys EVER had Jones in trouble (even the OLD Jones) and we all know Tarver is not a knockout artist. As a matter of fact Hopkins had Tarver wobbly AFTER Tarver himself LOST considerable weight. How do you gauge chin strengh btwn the two? OLD “past prime” version Hopkins & Old “past prime” version Jones staggered & dropped Calz , not vice versa. Tell me what great opponent that Calzaghe has fought that is known or you believe is great in the KO dept.?? Btw, Calzaghe wrote in his book years before picking on the shot Jones version, that Jones was “washed up!” How BRAVE of Calzaghe to PICK on Roy.Posted October 18, 2013 5:51 pm
Alien suits him better cause thats what he looks like. Executioner was not for him cause he didn’t execute JACK!Posted October 18, 2013 5:35 pm
Hopkins is overrated. Way overrated.Posted October 18, 2013 4:55 pm
Calzaghe did not choose to fight Hopkins in his geriatric prime. He spent years calling him out in the press and during post-fight interviews, right back from to 2002 after Hopkins was coming off the biggest and most impressive win of his career (Trinidad) to when they eventually fought. He even got his promoter to arrange a teleconference between them, Hopkins, Don King (Hopkins’ promoter at the time), Hopkins’ laywer, and the head of the American television network. They offered Hopkins a career high payday of $ 3 million and Calzaghe agreed on the spot to Hopkins’ stipulation that the fight had to take place over in America. Everyone was happy and all parties were in agreement only for Hopkins to come back the next day demanding double what they’d all agreed on. He knew damn well that figure was not only highly unrealistic but that it was also downright impossible.
So Hopkins turned down what was by far a career high payday to fight Calzaghe in his own country and a chance to get his hands on a belt in the 168 division (which we know he wanted because he complained about not getting a fight with 168 champion Byron Mitchell for his strap during one of his post-fight interviews) only to then go and fight a couple of bums for a bag of peanuts.
He also turned down another offer to fight Calzaghe in the UK in 2003. Hopkins said during his post-fight interview for the Tarver fight that he could’ve fought in three divisions from 2002 onwards but that he choose not to because the risk/reward for taking on the bigger guys was too great. In other words he wanted to beat up on little guys instead of risking it against fighters his own size.Posted October 18, 2013 4:25 pm
Come on !, You’re missing the point. Hopkin’s doesn’t have to be Ali. But obviously he’s done something right to be a multi weight class champion, one of the longest reigning/if not the logest middle weight champions in the history of the sport. Now he’s 48, has all his faculties and can still step in the ring with top fighters in the sport.Posted October 18, 2013 4:12 pm
hahahahahahaPosted October 18, 2013 3:46 pm
The guy IS a technical fighter believe it or not! Thats WHY he’s been in the game for SOOO long! He can still defeat and is STILL defeating those up & comers that dont take FUNDAMENTALS & DEDICATION – SERIOUSLY! He can also be a very BORING fighter at the same time!
A Prime Hopkins, I don’t think would have been able to deal with a prime Calzaghe since Hopkins cant deal with fast rangy punches in bunches! But, its something I’m not so sure about, because Hopkins was a MUCH faster fighter in his PRIME…and the fact Calzaghe CHOSE to fight Jones & Hops in their GERIATRIC stage doesnt prove much, even if Hopkins is still beating these “green” upstarts right now.
In the ring, Jones would have moved all over the place against Calzaghe, Calzaghe wouldnt have had another STATIONARY target to unload on. He wouldve been reciprocated with some quick stinging shots out of nowhere – shots that would have BROKEN his rhythm.
Hopkins reminds me of a Tim Duncan (basketball) in his craft! He’s NOT EXCITING, but in full command of the FUNDAMENTALS! The PROPER way to train, takes you beyond aggression and style alone! And lets not forget, the man is “confident,” confidence is also the mark of a champion! I’m not condoning the narcissistic attitude nor his clinchfests that make for PUKING! But, the guy DOES have a steadfast spirit that does not quit! He’s STILL winning belts AND boring the hell out of us, at the same time!Posted October 18, 2013 3:41 pm
Come on !
Tomato can comparing Hopkins to Ali are you crazy ??? Ali fought 15 rounders and way harder to the head fights. Watch Bhop fight all he does is jab jab and jab hold clinch stall, jab ja clinch jab clinch. No wonder other fighters get frustrated . As Eastman he said Hopkins didnt fight it wasnt a fight i cam e to fight Hopkins didnt fight. This is why Hop is BORING !!! Ali wasnt like this not even close.Posted October 18, 2013 3:28 pm
You can say what you want about Hopkins, but the fact remains he’s doing what others can’t, and really shouldn’t. Ali, was barely able to make a sentence by the time he was Hopkin’s age. You can call him boring, but his style promotes longevity, as well as the chance to live a long and happy life after boxing.Posted October 18, 2013 2:53 pm
ray ray, are you hopkins sister or tark”s brother.Posted October 18, 2013 2:28 pm

Bernard is a dirty fighter. Being prepared mentally and physical means nothing. Go back to hokins libary and watch the master of dirty. No respect for this fighter. He is dirty as they come ask Robert Allen.Posted October 18, 2013 1:55 pm
BHops is great.Posted October 18, 2013 1:42 pm
I always hated Hopkins before the Pascal fights. Now I am a huge Hopkins fan. You know one of the reasons I like Hopkins?. He ALWAYS comes prepared physically, and prepared mentally to WIN. Bernard is great for Boxing, and hopefully, he will stay in boxing a long time.
Bernard: Please don’t start holding again.Posted October 18, 2013 1:28 pm

Calzaghe would have been a lot of trouble for Jones and Hopkins at any time in their careers. Before his hands started giving him trouble I think he might have stopped Jones, Hopkins he would have beaten all day long.Posted October 18, 2013 11:58 am
Anonymous – well said. Bernard thinks he’s Jesus Christ and he has returned. I saw the video and WOW Brenard thinks he’s a god or something.Posted October 18, 2013 9:55 am
the most over rated boring fighter in history. period.Posted October 18, 2013 9:40 am
Watching this video I have never seen someone so self centered and more into themselves as Bernard Hopkins. Its all me, me, me and me when it comes to Bernard. First of all he is boring and unexciting to watch second he keeps remiinding people of his greatness. Bernard can fight to 100 and my opinion will stiull be the same about him. Bernard is no Sugar Robinson nor a Leonard. He’s not even in there level.Posted October 18, 2013 9:36 am
@Anonymous – Are you serious? lol…Bernard Hopkins was ALWAYS slow. He would never have beaten Joe Calzaghe. He simply NEVER had the speed, movement or workrate for a Calzaghe, which is why he chickened out of fighting him 5 years before, TWICE. In addition Calzaghe didnt need to ”recover” from Hopkins shot, he was not even hurt.
If hopkins or Jones were 5 years younger when they fought Calslappy, he, Calslappy would never have gotten past those first rounds knockdowns, calslappy waited until these guys were old to fight them, Jones especially was knocked out 2 times (johnson and tarver) before Calslappy fought him. I remember Calslappy dropping out of fighting Johnson, when Johnson was at his best, using some crappy excuse. BOXING PLUS YOU ARE STICKING UP FOR YOUR RACE, BUT LIKE ALL HOOLIES, YOU THINK ONLY YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO STICK UP FOR YOUR RACE.Posted October 18, 2013 3:15 am
These posts are not from SUPREME COURT. I am new to this dating site and even I know Supreme posts using French words at the end of his posts, which I do not understand, but sound so sexy.
Hey Supreme when are your going to be MORKED !Posted October 18, 2013 1:51 am
I never have seen a more whiny gutless fighter more than Hopkins is.Posted October 18, 2013 1:51 am
Hopkins the great cuddler and dirty to boot. Never saw him in a decent fight, Calzaghe beat him, don’t know anything about a rematch, but I imagine it would have been in Cardiff and I doubt Hopkins would have gone there.
Screw Hopkins, Where’s Mork I need to be stretched !Posted October 18, 2013 1:02 am
“The Alien.” LOL!Posted October 18, 2013 1:00 am

Hopkins Philly shell got cracked like an egg shell against Calzaghe.Posted October 17, 2013 7:46 pm
Hopkins game plan started to fall apart in the middle rounds against Calzaghe. Calzaghe proved he was the real deal. I really think Hopkins thought he had this one. No it proved Hopkins isn’t the best not even close. This is why Hopkins wanted a rematch. You can’t pot shot ring hold your win to all fighters it may work against some but not the best of fighters. Calzaghe knew how to get thru Hopkins defense.Posted October 17, 2013 7:30 pm
Typically if you are beating the other guy up you don`t roll around on the floor like a dog, or spend half the fight crying to the ref about non existent low blows.
Calzaghe is simply better than Hopkins, always was.
Hopkins thought Calzaghe was a stupid swarming brawler. He was wrong, and 4 rounds in he stopped trying to win and was content to try to be negative enough to be able to cry foul at the end when he got UD’ed.
Calzaghe turned Hopkins into a coward. Hopkins pride got the $h1t kicked out of it.Posted October 17, 2013 7:25 pm
Cannot see how anyone imagines Calzaghe was ”beat up” by Hopkins. Apart from a flash knockdown (helped by a push) in round 1, Hopkins never even came close to hurting Calzaghe. The only times I ever saw Calzaghe actually hurt were vs Eubank and one full blooded shot by Mitchell. And even against them, he wasnt in serious trouble. Hopkins never got a rematch because he fought apallingly; grabbing, wrestling, fouling, coplaining, trying to feign injuries, buying time, claiming he was fouled – in fact everything but actually fighting. Hopkins career long lack of hand and footspeed means he would never have beaten Calzaghe.Posted October 17, 2013 7:10 pm
Changing your ring name late in your career is usually a bad sign. See Johny Tapia. La Vida Nueva marked the turn. PS: Looks like I’m still posting too fast eh? K bye.Posted October 17, 2013 6:15 pm
The Hopkins Lie. This guy Bernard Hopkins is more of a marketing person than fighter. Lets see the Excutioner, to the Professor, now the “Alien”. He changes characters so many times. By the way PEEj just because a fighter fights long doesn’t mean he is great. Bernard says he is legendary and that we should always remember him and how great he was. Anyone that keeps reminding other people ” US ” how good or great they are is therefore lacking in that area. If your that whatever it is you wont have to keep reminding people that. People will already know that your great or whatever it is. Bernard is not great nor special.Posted October 17, 2013 5:55 pm
Sorry KP I am looking at the fight now and Calzaghe has no cut on the bridge of his nose before the fight.Posted October 17, 2013 4:52 pm
Lets never forget ” I’ll never let a white man beat me NEVER ” – Bernard HopkinsPosted October 17, 2013 4:46 pm
Save some money !
If you cant afford sleeping pills watch a Bernard Hopkins fight that will put you fast asleep !!! ZZZZZZZZz also love you Daniel Carver Muh !!!Posted October 17, 2013 4:43 pm
Anonymous is a joke that is why he can’t come up with his own name. He needs to get some boxing knowledge.Posted October 17, 2013 4:43 pm
Actually Calzaghe did get beat up. He was the one that looked like he went through a fight. Yes he won and i won’t dispute that. But their is a reason he didn’t want a rematch with Hopkins. And that is because he was in a fight, Hopkins landed the harder shots but Calzaghe just out worked him.Posted October 17, 2013 4:33 pm
Hopkins jab and grab style is really getting old! None of his fights has any real flow and he is boring as hell! Wake me please when the fight is over!!! LolPosted October 17, 2013 4:30 pm
I would like to do 12 rounds in Tark’s ring. Mork has convinced me that this is the thing to do. Tark is highly experienced at all matters within the ring, so he would be excellent to teach me how to handle my self in his ring.
Peej Calzaghe did not get beat up. Hopkins lost thru and thru. Calzaghe is the better fighterPosted October 17, 2013 3:53 pm
Boxing Plus, it is obvious you have no knowledge of the sweet science.Posted October 17, 2013 3:45 pm
Please don’t use punch stats, those mean nothing. And if you read my post you would of read me saying Hopkins got out worked. I never said Hopkins won, he lost. But he still beat up Calzaghe. You know the old saying lost the battle but won the war. Well Calzaghe lost the battle but won the War. That is why he didn’t want to rematch Hopkins.Posted October 17, 2013 3:44 pm
PEEJ – Lol, look at the punch stats. JC EASILY beat Hopkins. BHOP was outboxed, outfought, out thought, outmoved and outworked in 9 out of 12 rounds. He was crying foul, taking breaks, whining to the referee. The SD was an attempt at home cooking.Posted October 17, 2013 3:20 pm
Bernard is pathetic. i mean who in there right mind would pay to see Hopkins ?Posted October 17, 2013 3:14 pm

Beranrd a loser doesnt matter about his longetivity in the ring or his money or what. The guy is a paraniod freak and thinks people are going to rip him off when he is the one who has ripped people off. Including all of his non fights.Posted October 17, 2013 3:08 pm
Calzaghe didn’t whoop Hopkins. As a matter of fact it was actually Hopkins that beat up Calzaghe, just that Calzaghe out worked Hopkins. That is why he didn’t want to have a rematch.Posted October 17, 2013 3:07 pm
Yeah, he looked out of this world when Joe Cal wuz whippin his butt!Posted October 17, 2013 3:01 pm
