It is a legitimate possibility that Firtha is knocked out during the contract signing, or weigh-in, or during pre-fight instructions.

It’s not a huge overwhelming problem… Sooner or later Deontay will get the fights he needs as long as he keeps winning. Audley Harrison and Sergei Liakhovich are big enough names. Unfortunately you need opponents who can survive more than a minute, even if people know who they are.

Golden Boy knows damned well it’s past time to get Wilder big fights with solid contenders. What’s Thompson got to lose by fighting Wilder? … NOTHING. Get him an offer.

A.GOD…Agree, this so-called writer gives no credit to some fighters who should get credit…yet holds up somebody like Wilder, who has proven nothing yet as if he just captured all the belts.

This chappy rubbishes fighters (always British) who are deserving top tier champions or contenders, and sycophantically fawns over a boxer who has beaten nobody in 6 years and 30 fights. Wonder why that is?

Wilder has provd nothing, Collins has proved he is a twat!

I see Wilder fighting Johnathan Banks, Bryant Jennings and Tony “Tiger” Thompson in 2014. The Bronze Bomber is not knocking on the door he is smashing it down!!!

I belive Wilders team is not putting up decent money for his fights. Therefore Wilder can call out the top guys…and when they laugh at his teams offer,Wilder can say see everybody is ducking me…lol.Wilder and his team need a real fight now…he is becoming a heavyweight joke at this point.

That’s bullcrap… Both Wilder and Wladimir love boxing. Did Wladimir fight a couple of stinky fights in his career? … Did Ali? … Did Foreman?

Wilder had some trouble recently in Las Vegas. Wilder is very similar to Wladimir Klitschko in that he is a powerful man that hates violence and only boxes to pay the medical bills to his sickly daughter. Wladimir gives almost all his earnings to chariity. A man who fights for money but is not motivated by it is rare to have two men share the ring that both are only in boxing because of the money but are not motivated by it could result in the greatest fight in history.

Beating Firtha will prove nothing. Wilder needs to be fighting better guys full stop.

Your heavyweight fought a name heavyweight in his last fight — and you’re going to put him back to fighting “no name” heavyweights?

Wilder’s managers are either too stupid, too lazy, or too cheap, to get him an appropriate fight. It takes a lot of work, some negotiating skills, and cash on the barrel head to get an appropriate matchup for a big bomber once he gets ranked by anybody. You have to get serious.

Tyson got the right fights, a lot of them, and as fast and early as he could possibly handle them.

He had Jimmy Jacobs and Cus D’Amato. That’s the difference.

This fight is to keep Wilder busy and to put some money in his pockets, which is fine. This fight doesn’t mean anything. With all the heavies out there claiming no one will fight them, certainly the network could come up with a more demanding task for Wilder. At this stage, he doesn’t need this kind of help.

How did Wilder get ranked #3 WBC, #6WBA and #12 WBO without fighting anyone anywhere nearly ranked! Vlad knocked him down with a jab. However, the ranking is not fair to those fighters who earned it. Let’s see Wilder fight Jennings, Arreola, Thompson whom Wilder refused to fight!

Wilder is a pork eater and needs to sign with the Champ, Wladimir. Lets get it on with the Klit, Wlad.
