K-2- FanIf he thinks his fight with Huck was a ” hard and tough battle ” what would Derekreally? how can you give any of the last 8 rounds to Chambers. He stopped punching after round 4. Posted September 25, 2012 2:07 pmSwedish Boxing FanAlexander Povetkin is no world champion and his title belt is a fake title. A man who who is the Nr.1# world title challanger instead of acting like a true contender and fight the chasmpion for his crown, he runs away from fighting the champion and on his way of running he finds a fake WBA title and picks it up and says “now I am a world champion without even have fought the real, undisputed champion and can still I have a fine belt”. Povetkin’s career and legacy have been seriusly hurt by his choise of moves. I hope Hasim Rahman beats him. Posted September 24, 2012 4:37 amSwedish Boxing FanWell I have said likewise before so I agree. Posted September 24, 2012 4:36 amK2FanThere really is no reason to write about this ” champion “, since the phony trinket “awarded ” by the extremely corrupt WBA is less then meaningless . TARKPovetkin didn’t win his Huck or Chambers fights.. He should have two losses.. Huck almost knocked him out and was interfered with by the constant intervention of the hovering referee, often when there was no real clinch or Huck had a hand free to punch.. After the Chambers fight Povetkin’s face was so bunged up he looked like he walked into a bees’ nest. Posted September 22, 2012 2:38 pmEd HerpenerniebergerI would really like to see Povetkin/Adamek. MRBILL-HARDCORE XXXRahman is the latest lamb to be slaughtered in a title fight in 2012…….. Can you say “Hasbeen?” Posted September 22, 2012 9:21 amnight trainMarco is tough but he certainly is not skilled, he just didn’t land enough to get the decision in my opinion or the German judges. Tough like Two Ton Tony the little fat man who knocked down Joe Louis, and just as unskilled. Posted September 21, 2012 8:26 pmwearerofallthebeltsMarco Huck beat this guy and got robbed. Don’t care about Povetkin. Posted September 21, 2012 6:57 pmLeninPovetkin’s time is almost up. He is afraid of the K Bros, but soon he will have to run from A LOT of young heavies e.g. Price, Fury, Wilder. So: run, Forrest, RUN! Posted September 21, 2012 5:30 pmShaneThis guy is just going to try to wait for Wlad to retire. That is punk. He will likely lose while waiting. :???: Posted September 21, 2012 4:28 pmmackI remember Povetkin vs, Eddie Chambers. Good fight and a good win. Since then, Povetkin has had some good wins, and some not so good, but he does not seem get much better. He has been top rated for several years now; does he never want the shot at a Klitschko? Many in the division are on their second pass at the champions. It is high time Povetkin took his turn. Posted September 21, 2012 2:59 pm |
