Fake TARK.., Floyd is the GOAT… You’re a dingleberry on a dog’s ass.

Posted November 1, 2013 7:22 pm

TARK

Whoever you are, please don’t use my name. Thank you.

Mayweather is NOT the goat! That title can only be decided once a fighters career is over. Anyone who knows me will agree with that.

The last five TARK posts are fake TARK.. I always held that Mayweather is the GOAT, even when he weighed 130.

Yo mama

Funny if you seen that tube where Calzaghe and Bernard get into this scuffle and it’s a heated exchange and you know benard will never lets anyone get the best of him.
So bernard say I will never lose to you, you know what? I will never lose to a white man.
Never….. Again I will never never lose to a white guy, so what happens when they fight?
Beard lose to a guy guy? LOL….
Before this fight the calzaghe and jr jones fight was another great fight,
Calzaghe gave Jones no respect at all it’s was a head games fight calzaghe fighter just like Roy hands down a piping punches, and he was doing even better job than roy.
They sure was a lot of good fighter then.

But how about ward fighting Hopkins. ??

Mayweather is NOT an idiot and he has NO plans to join the circus by fighting an OLD and grossly OVERSIZED Hopkins… Guys really wanna see a 50 year old man drop 15 pounds to fight Floyd Mayweather? This has gotten DUMB….Mayweather has ONLY fought MEGA bouts above 147 pounds that means GGG, Hopkins, and any other guys you can think of are NOT in the equation they lack the drawing power for FMJ to fight outside his best weight of 147…. FORGET IT…

Posted October 31, 2013 6:51 pm

Lol….someone is sooooo nervous …lmao !

So the reason you say mayweather shouldn’t fight Hopkins is because he is too old or oversized ? Wich is it ? If he is too old got mayweather he shouldn’t worried about the weight then right?

Posted October 31, 2013 8:16 pm

mike_bngs

I have a feeling that if Hopkins had campaigned at bantam weight and moved up to lightweight or Jr welter that Mayweather would be begging him for a fight at 147 – 154.

why is asking questions and pointing out history a ” hate” thing to do? ggg is not a nobody. we are talking about hopkins. do you think floyd istoo small to go up and fight aweight drained 160lber who is 48 years old? hopkins jumped two classes and whooped tarver. hell even std broner just jumped 2 and did good enough to win against paulie. floyd cares more about his purses then legacy. calzage record = to floyds record

The intrigue here is that Floyd would finally fight a guy he can’t outthink.

So if money move to 160 and beat the nobody ggg then what haters gone say next ??? If his that great he should move up on weight and face Vladimir . Hater are so stupid !!! And trust me I dislike may weather
Very much but I’m not taking away how good the guy is

it dulls it for floyd. a p4 p champ would fight at 154 not asks for an advantage.

Posted October 31, 2013 5:02 pm

How does it dull it? Canelo weighed in at 153 for Trout. What is one extra pound?

it is what it is.apart from mayweather today the rest are all hype jobs.

Posted October 31, 2013 4:59 pm

deepwater152

he fought the gingerbread man but at a catchweight. so it dulls the accomplishment a bit. floyd should go out with a bang and fight pacman if pacman looks good then fight hopkins as the greatest accomplishment fot him to do. fighting amir khan, devon alexander or garcia are good but not special. hey some fighters can do special things. the best p4p fighter can weigh in at 152 and beat up a weight drained 160 lber.

Posted October 31, 2013 4:54 pm

PEEJ

But in all honesty I think Mayweather should move up to 160 just to test himself even if he can’t carry the weight, he should still show the heart of a true champion.

Posted October 31, 2013 4:52 pm

deepwater152

it would end at 160 and floyd can dance into p4p greatness. some guys can do it other guys cant. floyd might retire undfeated but so did calzage so history is there to see.

Posted October 31, 2013 4:51 pm

PEEJ

Yeah so when he moves to 160 you will then say a truly great fighter would move up 1 weight class from the one he just fought at. It would have no end. Funny because so many people said he wouldn’t fight Canelo. When he did nothing but hate and excuses. No need for Floyd to move to 160. He can’t even carry 150 to the ring on fight night.

Posted October 31, 2013 4:41 pm

TARK

Floyd won’t move up to 160 because he’s not the great champion he thinks he is.

Posted October 31, 2013 4:34 pm

hopkins moved up and beat down tarver. spinx moved up, throughout history very special fighters can move up and win. its not for everyone. some fighters say they are too small ect ect.

Posted October 31, 2013 4:24 pm

deepwater152

an all time p4p great would move up 1 weight class from his last fight and beat that champion. a special fighter would do it. not everyone can do it but an all time p4p would.

Posted October 31, 2013 3:54 pm

PEEJ

Actually come to think of it I think Floyd should move up to 160 just to test himself at the higher weight against arguably the best boxer in the world today in Golovkin. If Floyd continues to duck him people will say he ran away. So yeah, Floyd needs to step in weight and take on GGG.

Posted October 31, 2013 3:52 pm

PEEJ

Please. That is a ridiculous statement. Needs to move to 160. How come you don’t call for these heavier fighters to move up in weight. People always say Floyd takes on smaller fighters which is bogus but then expect him to move up. That is ridiculous. He has moved up from 130. That is 5 weight classes. Oh and he has won Championship Belts in 4 and a title in the other. Greatest of his generation.

Posted October 31, 2013 3:11 pm

deepwater152

I agree. very skilled fighter but even better at picking soft fights and making most $$

Posted October 31, 2013 2:52 pm

TARK

deepwater152 the thing is Mayweather only picks fights he can win. He has the 154 belts, now he should move up to 160 and prove himself there but he won’t because he is scared of losing his fake unbeaten record. The man is not called Fraud Mayweather for no reason. He’ll never be a true great fighter. He never fights outside the USA. He only picks fighters he knows he can beat. He ducks great fighters in their prime. He’s a con artist who has conned his fans beautifully time and time again but they’re too dumb and blind to see it. If Mayweather was the man he’s supposed to be he’d move up to 160 and fight Golovkin instead of running away from him.

Posted October 31, 2013 2:45 pm

deepwater152

basically and all time great should be able to go up one weight class since his last fight and take out the champ at the higher weight. an all time p4p great would and could do it. no excuses.

Mayweather is top 10 P4P above Hearns, Duran and Hagler or Leonard. He is the best defensive fighter in memory. He cannot be beaten by anyone between 140 – 160. Would like to see Golovkin and Martinez on his resume but Sergio hasn’t looked good lately so whethet it would draw the interest it would’ve a few years ago?? If Mayweather beats him you will just get the usual suspects reminding us the Margarito beat him and Pacquiao beat Margo…. blah blah blah

I think a prime hopkins would beat a prime Mayweather, since Mayweather doesn’t belong past 147. However, todays current version of Mayweather beats today’s Hopkins at 160, easy… Mayweather will come in at 150 to Hopkin’s 175 on fight night, and still beat him. But what will that prove? Not much…

Tomato Can

Largo, agreed… I still hope this fight doesn’t happen though.

Posted October 31, 2013 10:03 am

It’s not going to happen!! Simple!!!!
Mayweather is a 147 fighter who can get to around 152 at a push. Hopkins will only be able to get down to 160 if he’s lucky. So it’s a no Brainer to me.

Posted October 31, 2013 9:22 am

Mike J

As stupid as this notion is, I still cant help myself from wondering how this would play out. A PRIME Hopkins v. Mayweather wouldve been a great fight…the classic chess match and a great fight for boxing purists. This fight now…waste of time. Hopkins is still a great defensive fighter, but he would not be fast or active enough nor would he hit Mayweather enough to win. He would be on defense the whole night, and you cant even fathom Mayweather fighting him similar to the likes of Cloud, Murat, Pascal, and Tarver. This would be a boring, lopsided decision in favor of Mayweather…probably a jab fest with no real need for Mayweather to engage as he did against Cotto and Alvarez. All fighters from this era in their primes, weights equal, only two fighters beat Mayweather in IMO, Mosley and RJJ, maybe a prime Hop, but I feel he would lose to Mayweather on points similar to how he lost against RJJ in their first fight.

NO, Mayweather do boxing a favor and retire. Their is nobody out there that is worthy of a fight. Your record can only be padded at this point. Accept that people are not going to like you and not give you the love or respect that other fighters get. Mayweather will be remembered as one of the best fighters of his time.

THIS IS SILLY TALK….
Floyd will only ever fight at M’W in his very last bout if he reaches the figure of 49-0, he will look at breaking all PPV figures and taking home $100M if he can beat whoever is reigning as M’W champion at the time, which will be in about 18 month’s time or so.

B-HOP has only 3 options: Remain at Light Heavy and face either Superman or Kovalev (or Bellew, if he crashes the party)!
Move down to SM’W and face FROCH or WARD or if he really feels like he wants a challenge DROP to 160 and take on GOLOVKIN.

If he takes any of these three routes he will cement his legacy (W,L or D), because in these opponents he will be facing legitimate threats.

At 175 he will raise his status after Pascal and Cloud… At 168 he will claim a World Title at a third weight class and become the oldest THREE WEIGHT WORLD champion and probably have the longest span to win world Titles in THREE Weight Divisions ( I haven’t checked)!!!!

If he beats Golovkin, he probably be the first Light Heavyweight Champion to DROP down in weight to RECLAIM a portion of the M’W titles (but, once again, I haven’t checked)

There are so many records to be broken that B-HOP really should be looking at any of these men before he even thinks about Floyd!

15th rnd KO

What Mayweather Sr. Should consider STUPID is Floyd fighting chinny Khan !! If Floyd says Pac should go and avenge his LOSSES to Bradley and Marquez , then the same should apply to Khan regardless of what he draws !!! Khan needs to go back a start with Prescott,Peterson, Maidona, then Garcia. This clown has been sent to the canvas 8+ times and has MORE 10-8 rounds going against him then ANY currently ranked Golden Boy fighters 140-147 and Khan has NEVER proven himself @147 and has NOT beaten any top 10 ranked opponents in 2 YEARS !!! If the Popkins fight is a joke , Khan is a FARCE and nowhere near worthy of another million dollar payday to get KTFO again !! If Khan is SO FAST , why is he getting dropped by supposed plodders ?

Taylor beat hopkins 2 fights in a row, so how good was hopkins really. And Calzage owned hopkins. Hopkins had his wins but in some really competitive fights he couldn’t pull it off, he was gun shy because he plays it safe, Hopkins is a legend in his own mind. Hopkins is just picking fighters with lots of weaknesses to fight like george foreman did. Fighting weak competition just to make money, hopkins isn’t building any legacy anymore, he’s just playing it safe.

Let Hopkins fight Dawson instead of trying to make MONEY off this LITTLE dude! Give Dawson an opportunity to get hyped all over again in anticipation of a rematch with an ATG, OR let Hops, REALLY CHALLENGE himself in search of KING WARD – a guy NATURALLY in his weight range with SUPERB SKILZ! Hopkins is coming off incredibly DELUSIONAL if he thinks due to winning some belts (which IS TRULY AMAZING @ his age!!), that we fans ASSUME he now can AUTOMATICALLY beat ALL in the division! We don’t DISCOUNT the rest!! That would be DISRESPECTFUL!!

This is like the proverbial jail house code of picking on the small inmates while avoiding the REAL threats; he’s reached way too far to find himself in this reggressive DESPERATE state! Dude should just retire and ride off into the sunset – he’s ACCOMPLISHED SO MUCH already! Time to test his skills in another venture! Maybe he can now hang with Mayweather Sr and check out Disneyland…….or be an advocate for innocent inmates…..whatever……anything other than fighting the little dude…..I’m with Sr. “It’s STUPID, Man”!

I don’t think he can put that much weight on. Problem though is once you put it on it doesn’t come off so easily without weakening you. Examples are Jones, Tarver and Byrd. 160 is way to big against Floyd. Don’t get me wrong. I wouldn’t mind him moving there to see if he could do it but that’s asking a lot. 160 is a different breed than 147.

Posted October 30, 2013 8:11 pm

R0b0-H@mster

Even if they were in the same weight division it wouldn`t make much sense.

How high can you rate Hopkins for points wins over Murat and Cloud and a defeat to Dawson?

Stevenson KO’ed 2 of those guys, and Kovalev KO’ed the guy who KO’ed Murat so brutally he has run out of the weightclass, and KO’ed the guy robbed against Cloud previously (Campillo).

It would be like “Here Floyd please fight the 4-5th best fighter in the division, a guy in notoriously dirty boring fights, who wants big money but brings a mediocre fanbase which you have already got under your wing anyway, of and he is 100 years old and with multiple defeats so you don`t get much credit anyway”

JE – Slopkins only fights smaller guys.. he’s never actually fought guys bigger then him.. he’s a Jailhouse punk

Since BHop is all fired up to jump weight divisions, why doesn’t he challenge Wladimir Klitschko. It would be his biggest payday ….. What’s that? Silence Bernard? Not interested? BHop can’t beat the best fighters in his own weight class. If he fought Chad Dawson 20 times he would lose 20 times. It is a farce to make all this fuss over his age and calling him an “ageless” wonder etc… In an age of one champion per division, Bernard would never have won the 175 lb title. Remember that he has zero KOs at 175 and he’s been beaten by stars Dawson and Calzaghe; was “injured” vs Dawson which helped him squeeze out an additional defense; drew with Pascal; and was pressed by the clubfighter Murat. He was a great middleweight and only above-average at 175.

WHAT!?!

A Light Heavy calling out a Welter. What a joke!!! Hopkins vs FMJ would be the insomniacs cure of the century.

LikeISeeIt

Too large a size disparity and age disparity for anyone to be satisfied with any outcome.

Deepwater, you do realize Floyd started his career at 130 right. So he has met your criteria of moving up in weight.

Bhop is a hater him and dlh r jealous of Floyd cuz Floyd beat all of the big names at golden boy now this stupid fool say some sht like this Bhop ur bigger than this I thought show some respect and class

Yeah and look how hard it was for them to do it. They did it for the Tyson Lewis fight. That is the only one I can think of but I am pretty sure they did it once before. But for a while now there has been too much bad blood between the 2 and that will not be happening anytime soon. So no, those fights where not reality at the time.

Peej: Sure they could HBO/Shobox have collaborated in the past.

Hopkins did the same sht during his prime wasting away on the Friday night fight circuit avoiding guys his true size. it wasn’t until 154lb Tito Trinidad decided to move up to 160lbs to take on the Middleweights that Hopkins was able to get out of that Friday night fight circuit dumpster. Then he fought Delahoya at that Catchweight of 157lbs,.. All while avoiding Roy Jones at 170lbs.. something he could’ve easily made.. The guy is a dirty bum.. LOL

Apart from bhop I don’t know a single person who wants this fight even if it could be made! Question is who will both fighters fight next? But if this fight did happen too safety first fighters make a an awfull fight

Old Coot has 2 built in excuses. If Hopkins wins its because of weight and if Floyd wins its because of Hopkins age. lol

Posted October 30, 2013 2:38 pm

Lou

Its all about the Hopkins Circus. Dragging smaller fighters to fight him and for the money. All avioding the real deals

I’m glad Sr has sense and mind about this. Here Sr talks about Hopkins greed and jealousy. This is not the first time Hopkins wanted the crown of another and the purse prize.

Floyd Sr – “He’s talking awful foolish. It’s a good thing for what he’s done and what he’s doing still. But I’m going to tell you right now, he’s jealous about Floyd. Talking about fighting Floyd, as big as he is. He ain’t fighting Floyd. It’s stupid, man. To be honest with you, it don’t even make sense for that fight to even take place,” stated Floyd Sr.

Old Coot

It could be interesting… But if B-hop won… You just know Floyd fans would just say it was because he’s too big… Even with the weight loss! One thing… You know B-hop is a freak when at 48, his age is not considered a factor. And if Floyd wins, it probably actually would be due to B-Hops age.

CurlyQ.Howard

Well, since the Mayweather/Hopkins fight isn’t going to happen, BHop should focus on getting a fight with Triple G. Yes, that’s what BHop should do, but we know that BHop won’t do it.

Finally someone with some F!@king sence. Yes an old man with boxing knowledge anyone wanting or hoping to see this fight is dumb also. Im a FM fan because of boxing but look how much credit you haters are giving him even suggesting he fight these huge really big guys.WOW

Posted October 30, 2013 2:12 pm

Jim

Anyone who considered that stupid idea for fight a realistic proposition is a fool. It would of dragged boxing down even further than it already is. What is needed is real fights between the very best fighters at sensible weights and no more corruption and ridiculous games by bad selfish greedy vile promoters who should be trying to make boxing the very best it can be.

Posted October 30, 2013 1:52 pm

murderman

Fight will never happen. Floyd would have to bulk up to 160. Bhop would have to drop down to 160. Neither man can make weight. Bhop should be worrying bout kokalev or stevenson. Both of these guys may k.o. bhop!
