Darchinyan will upset the entire future of overrated Donaire with a VICtory.Posted November 9, 2013 1:26 am
And WTF isn’t Vanes Martirosyan vs Demetrius Andrade getting any hype? It’s two US Olympians fighting for their first world title FFS. That’s the main event.Posted November 8, 2013 6:29 pm
Joseph Herron agree, the undercard is banging. Either of those fights should be the main event. Donaire-Vic is a mismatch meant to give Donaire a confidence boost. That’s obv. Cmon Vic is 37 — which is like 47 if he was a heavyweight.Posted November 8, 2013 6:26 pm
Sorry…I meant to say who would be competitive against Mikey at 130?Posted November 8, 2013 11:11 am
I never said this fight was going to be competitive for very long…just mentioned that it was a great style match-up.
Who would be competitive with Mikey Garcia at 126 pounds?
Since you know so much, who? Don’t forget about the different promoters and networks…who?
Mikey is on a different level than everyone else in that division except for possibly Gary Russell Jr…and he still thinks he’s a Featherweight.
He’s one biscuit short of a Lightweight, man!!Posted November 8, 2013 11:10 am
Apparently you guys know very little about boxing. Garcia vs Martinez is a complete mismatch, similar to Garcia vs Juanma.Posted November 8, 2013 10:58 am
A terrific card
These are great fights on HBO.
I don’t understand what the criticism is all about.
The first Nonito/Vic bout in 2007 was very competitive until that brutal left hook landed on Vic’s chin. Vic was the incumbent champ and deserved a return bout…it’s long overdue.
Mikey Garcia versus Rocky Martinez is another great style match-up in which we see the aggressive volume puncher versus the hard counter puncher.
in the opening bout of the evening, we see two former Olympians who are undefeated competing for the vacant WBA 154 pound title.
Great evening of boxing!! No criticism here!!Posted November 8, 2013 9:26 am
