Joshua is already beating the kind of fighters the fraud Wilder was beating last year, and hes only had 3 fights, but the tool who wrote this trashes him? WTF? ESB dont need this kind of crap piece.

This guy is obviously an American, he ONLY writes about BRITISH fighters, and is ALWAYS negative and insulting = Someone with a mental illness.

Dunno who this writer is but Joshua has obviously stood him up in one of his wet dreams!!

As for prizefighter……….. From 4 rows back sprott deserved the win and carried the semi final. However, he only made it through the quarters on the dodgiest decision I have seen this year. Great entertainment because of even matching but quality was lacking, so good effort Eddie Hearn but next time I want to blow £70 I’ll attack the local curry house for £30, throw a £20 winner take all at a couple of shop door dwellers and still have money for a cab home.

In summary Eddie try a bit harder to give a UK heavy with a pulse a tv opportunity and screw James Toney

Thanks, Rod for that attempted info. I haven’t been able to get into the forum for weeks (right after GGG-Stevens fight) and was afraid the whole thing was deactivated like the Lounge. Now I see it’s apparently a personal problem with my machine. Says can’t find boxingforum24.com using either IE or Chrome.

Whilst I agree with most of your post doc, toney was fighting jason gavern, not Wlsd or Thompson

@ mr gav – I would have to slightly disagree with you about James Toney. He actually look much better than expected in my opinion. His weight was down, he was punching in combination to both the head and body, and counter-punching (unheard of these days in the HW division). That counter-right which he nailed his first opponent with, which resulted in the KO, was pure class!!! He was never hurt in the slightest against Gavern (merely off-balance a few times). I was of course pulling for Toney to win (and I still feel that he out-pointed Gavern in the semis), but as I feared when I first heard that he signed up for the Prizefighter, the format is all wrong for a methodical fighter like Toney and that he might get “out-hustled” in these short 3 rounders. That’s exactly what happened. Don’t know where he goes from here, but he didn’t look any worse than Povetkin looked against Wlad or Pulev looked against Thompson, so you never know. : – )

Toney is brain damaged.

Oooookay the first half of my post has been deleted!!!!!

Sprott was lucky to win. Minto had him in big trouble and if gavrtn didn’t hurt himself then sprott would not of had the energy to win he was easy pickings from round 2 and sprott couldn’t finish him off. Toney looked awfull even at his age he should be winning clearly but he was hurt against a club fighter. I just don’t know where Toney can go anyone will take him seriously.

Die Siener

Joshua is way too slow and has no pop. The little fat bloke who’d been rolled out to take a beating was still on his feet at the end and punching back. Still early days, but Big Joshua does not look the goods.

Lets face it, if Joshua were to moon walk across the ring then KO Wladimir with a superman punch in his next fight that still wouldn’t be good enough. He would still be just another Brit hype job eh Mikey

The tournaments are for journeyman and washed up fighters. Just so happens Sprott is a washed up journeyman and he still managed to win. As for joshua, hes had 3 fights and stopped every man infront of him. What more can you ask?

Well done to Sprott, he is not a bad fighter, and has had some decent wins over the years. Joshua looks good.

Old men fighting journeymen fighting grade C fighters..Boxing at its worst..This is like the old toughman contests…

Sad – Only Slater could hype this up and especially with his use of nick names for added effect

Michael Sprott won prizefighter.

The only entry requirement for prizefighter is that your bodyfat percentage must be greater than your age.
