LOL…thanks for listening, Hidalgo. It wasn’t a very easy fight to call last night.

The Pacquiao/Rios PPV should be much easier next week!!

“I think we’re seeing the second coming of Joe Cortez!”

LOL, Joseph. God help us.

SHORTBUSMOND is a real special ed panty creamer.

He went crazy crying racist when he thought that the show were blurring out Andre Wards face like he was a criminal.

Then SHORTBUSMOND realised that the blurring out was from when he shot his load all over the TV watching Wards overanxious hugging

SO Boxstra – I assume you mortgaged your house, or trailer, or 1986 Ford Falcon or whatever your most prized and expensive possession is and bet the whole lot on a Ward victory then.

That’s awesome.

Why don`t you post a photo of the betting slip online.

sracemond and his band of black panthers are the only ones who care about this boring fight.

With as rough as Rodriguez was fighting he wasn’t looking to win on points… He was looking to get lucky and he knew that was his best shot. If he landed something crazy and got Ward going — or cut Ward with a crazy slashing punch. That was his beat and only chance … but it didn’t happen. The referee wasn’t intimidated and grabbed control of the fight … With a referee like Lou Moret, Rodriguez might have gotten away with a lot more.

Posted November 17, 2013 1:30 am

TARK

Boxtra.., You didn’t know crap.. You thought he was going to win because he could have lost.. He got hit with a lot of punches and one pretty good liver shot. It’s possible for anybody to get hit wtih a KO punch, even if the odds are very low.. Only God KNOWS what’s going to happen because death is the only certainty.

Posted November 17, 2013 1:22 am

Boxtradamus

When you favor someone there’s a probability factor attached to that such as I favor him 60-40…..I didn’t favor him. I took Ward 100% to 0%. That’s called taking him as the absolute WINNER.

Posted November 17, 2013 1:20 am

Boxtradamus

Well IF he was weight drained then he’s SISSYFIED. Because he came in at 170. IF he’s weight drained then he should be at LHW. SO you’re right. Shields is an idiot and Rodriguez is TOO……Can’t blame them for wanting to face the #2 Fighter in the World though. The #2 Fighter isn’t at LHW. He’s at SMW. SO I can’t really blame them TOO much for trying to squeeze his body down to SMW when he can’t make it.

Posted November 17, 2013 1:18 am

Boxtradamus

NO. I didn’t favor him. I absolutely KNEW he was going to WIN. When you favor someone you THINK they’re going to WIN.

Posted November 17, 2013 1:14 am

TARK

I’ll tell you one thing.. Ronnie Shields is an idiot.. If you have a guy going into his first world title fight you monitor his weight and make sure there are no slip ups.. Carlos Monzon was huge.. but always made weight.. 200,000 dollars is a lot of money to be fined.. Plus he wouldn’t be hit with another huge fine if he didn’t have to foul his ass off in an attempt to land something big — because he weight drained.

Then you had him as the favorite… you idiot

Posted November 17, 2013 12:59 am

Boxtradamus

Well that’s why everybody is LESSER than ME. I didn’t have Ward as the favorite to WIN. I had him as the absolute WINNER.

Posted November 17, 2013 12:56 am

Boxtradamus

YES. LESSER SKILLED Fighters DO WIN sometimes but not MOST of the time….the more SKILLED Fighter WINS MOST of the time SO I’d rather bank on that. I’ll let the AMATEURS bank on the LESSER SKILLED guy.

Posted November 17, 2013 12:53 am

TARK

Boxtra…, Everybody in the world had Ward the favorite to win this fight, and the odds only went up when Rodriguez struggled to make weight and couldn’t get the weight off.. So quit pattng yourself on the back because this was the easiest fight in the world to pick the winner.

Boxtra, some fans aren’t too sharp, but that’s doesn’t negate the fact that there’s a threshold for skill, weight, strength, power and so forth.. In other wards a better skilled fighter can lose to a lesser skilled fighter, it happens. Check out Howard Davis’ career, he was a highly skilled fighter and never won a title. He surely isn’t the only one…

Posted November 17, 2013 12:44 am

Correct tomato!
And boxtradomus calls someone ” amater” lol

Some AMATEURS SAID that Floyd beat Marquez because he came in over the contracted Weight. I predicted that IF the man who comes in over weight has LESS SKILLS than the man that made Weight then the guy WHO came in overweight would still LOSE and I was CORRECT. I am the GREATEST Fight Prophet ever born!!!!

Posted November 17, 2013 12:34 am

“SKILLS is more important than Weight just as I predicted!!!!! ”

Predicted? What’s to predict?

I think it’s safe to say Ward’s should is alright. :)

Posted November 17, 2013 12:26 am

I have three words for Edwin Rodriguez and none of them are good. He deserved what he got and Ward did a damn good job of giving it to him.

Ref Reiss did a nice job too.

Rodriguez got schooled.. Rios will more than likely get schooled next week too..

Posted November 17, 2013 12:22 am

Boxtra, there’s a threshold for everything. If skills are equal then guess what? The fighter with a weight advantage will win… Nuff Said…

motivation get a passport, fight away, super six

Posted November 17, 2013 12:17 am

I TOLD everyone that coming in over the contracted Weight does not secure the WIN. SKILLS DO. I THANK Ward for helping ME to prove MY point. I am the GREATEST Fight Prophet ever born!!!!

ward shuld say about frch after

Posted November 17, 2013 12:13 am

I didn’t think it was s.h.i.t. fight. Not bad at all for a champ coming off a 14 month layoff and shoulder surgery… Nope, that wasn’t bad at all…

This is a guy hell bent on being a Great fighter, Wards truly special nobody from 160-168 stands the slightest chance….This was an exciting fight Ward was pressing for the KO even though he had a HUGE LEAD … I cannot wait to see this guys next fight

Rodriguez seems like a good dude, so maybe something else is going on.

Posted November 16, 2013 11:10 pm

Tomato Can

Hopefully a trend isn’t starting where fighters decide rather than getting down to a weight class they chose to be in, they’d rather give themselves a better chance to win, by not losing the extra pounds. Ward’s rehydration clause is perfectly acceptable under the current circumstances.
