“”Public Enemy

SEE EVEN Public Enemy with all his hate towards mexican: ADMITS RIOS was a C LEVEL fighter. How in the world could anyone think that this somehow redeems Pacquioa?? WAKE UP! Pacquioa couldnt even KO Rios which is saying alot. PACQUIOA IS SHOT.

Rios could barely beat Alvarado. It was so EASY to predict the outcome of that fight. Only HEC DOG believed that it was the second coming of Jesus.

Sheriff Joe’s chicken

Actually Mayweather did want to fight him but then Pacquioas whole team f’k up. First it was needles, then he didnt like blood taken from him, then he wanted the lionshare, even though at the time he had only beaten old man ODLH. Cmon, you cant put the blame on Mayweather. We all know how he is. HE calls the shots. If you want a shot a the best then you have to concede to Mayweathers terms. Now fake ass Pacquioa at the END of his career wants one last HUGE paycheck.

Big deal. Pacquiao beat a C-level fighter in Rios. As ALWAYS, there is talk of Mayweather and Pacquiao fighting. Mayweather would counter-punch Pacquiao to death, enda story.

A seasoned 147 Bradley LOOKED WORST and won than 135 pounds Rios who only had two fights at 140 pounds against Alvarado, I say a rematch against Rios and Rios wins it. a fifth fight with Marquez and Marquez will killed him or put him in a coma this time….a fight with Floyd who handle a solid 172 pounds Canelo like an easy walk in the park would be laughable against Pacquiao.

Manny deserves all the credit in the world. He without question raised the bar for every boxer today. His versatility was incredible to witness. Manny did what so many doubted he could do. Manny Pacquiao will be remembered by all his classic fights as well as the fastest hands and feat to ever enter a boxing ring. Manny’s fights are memorable. They leave and ever lasting memory forever. Manny is beloved by the world and his peers. His opponents love, admire and respect him more than any other athlete ever. The only hateful, jealous, disrespectful fighter that dislikes Manny Pacquiao is none other than Floyd Mayweather. Floyd can buy all the materials that he wants. He can show off all his money, but one thing he can’t buy is the love the world shows Manny Pacquiao. They cheer for him everywhere. They love this man because he cares, show respect, honor, trust, never speaks bad about other, never boat or brags. he tends to the poor. He fights for justice, He ha quality traits that we should want are kids to have. Manny will be remembered for more for being a genuine and loyal person rather than just a boxer.

Manny Pacquiao will beat Floyd Mayweather hands down. He has the speed, reflexes, athleticism and the unique unorthodox style to handle him fairly easy. You must remember that Manny hadn’t fought in a year. He had a game plan for Rios that he followed to a T. Mayweather is nothing but a counter puncher that moves well and uses the jab well. He wins on his speed and reflexes. Manny will off set all of this with his feints, speed, and power. Manny is only going to get better if and before these two guys fight. Trust me on this, Manny Pacquiao has the tools and the style to beat Mayweather. Judah did it for 5 rounds, Cotto had the right style, but was a little too old to hang. Manny Pacquiao is the best athlete boxer of all time. Mark my word right now, Manny Pacquiao will defeat Floyd Mayweather should Floyd find the courage to fight him, which I don’t think he will after watching the masterful display on a younger, stronger fighter. Manny Pacquiao haters must give Manny Pacquiao his just due and crown him as the best boxer of today. The more you doubt him, the more you will be upset. Manny Pacquiao has no boundaries. A 9th division title is just around the corner. What an incredible display of boxing last night. I’m still in awe. Manny’s the best

Manny Pacquiao showed cased his brilliant boxing ability last night. The world witnessed the greatest boxing exhibition ever put on display in the squared circle. Manny Pacquiao is alive and well. His mastery of boxing and ring generalship kept us all watching in awe. Manny Pacquiao proved to the boxing world that he is unquestionably the number 1 or number 2 greatest boxers of all time. Macau China was treated to the most technical, masterful commanding fight that any fighter has ever put together. On this night Manny Pacquiao was better than Sugar ray Robinson, Roberto Duran, Sugar ray Leonard, Joe Louis, Julio Cesar Chavez, Jack Johnson and any other fighter that you can think of. Greatness clearly came to all fight fans. The roaring crowd supporting Manny was touching. The commentary was excellent. Let’s forget the Mayweather talk. He has no chance of ever beating the the living legend. Mikey Garcia decided to run his big mouth and had the audacity to say he would stop Manny Pacquaio. Someone please make that fight so we can shut his mouth also. Today is a day to celebrate. Manny Pacquiao carried the world on his shoulders and would not be denied a glorious victory. The speed, power, athleticism, movement, defense and ring smarts lead me and others to classify Manny Pacquiao as one of a kind. He will never be duplicated. He took on the doubters and dissected a vicious unwavering opponent. Lets all celebrate or king, Manny Pacquiao. Please give to those that need help[ care down in life. Give to those that need hope as Manny Pacquiao gave to us. Thank You Manny Pacquiao for giving us back our hope and making us smile. Manny is the best!

I got an idea. If Pac can get past Broner, then he’s got a realistic shot at Mayweather. You can’t hurt both fighters with the right hand as they put that left shoulder up high. Manny’s left will be coming from the other side, so it should be a good match-up.

JonnE.JaGozza

I don;t understand some of these postings. The conclusion I get from watching this fight is that Rios is in the wrong sport and NOT a great fighter, not even a good fighter, not even a pro, he’s a punk. A good fighter can alter his game plan during a fight to capitalize on his man’s weaknesses, Rios couldn’t figure out what he was doing wrong. OK, so with that said then it’s the corner man’s job to tell him what to do and instruct him, THAT DIDN’T HAPPEN. So, the corner man , his trainer has no idea what he’s doing. Lousy fighter. lousy trainer. OK, for those who say that Packman had total domination yea, he did but with a guy who didn’t now what the hell he was doing and looked scared before the opening bell, so, if Packman was so great , why didn’t he KO the fool who didn’t know what he was doing, AND we all know that a KO was something Packman’s career needed, he needed to take him out of there early but he didn’t , he couldn’t Sorry, not total domination but rather, Packman couldn’t capitalize on his man’s mistakes and this moron made countless mistakes throughout the fight, his biggest mistake (RIOS) made was showing up for this fight. I wish his share of the purse was withheld and we all go refunds. AS I said in a earlier posting before the fight, I never heard of Rios and now, I know why .. nobody should ever hear about this ass again …
Last night , anyone could have beaten this fool, nothing great about it .
This fight just gave me more words and definitions to put in my book
words that means “a guy who somehow thinks he’s a fighter but isn’t” … the only word that comes to mind is >>> MIGHTY JACKASS >>> PEACE >>>> Boxingdictionary.com

And last thing why he never defends the people around him (Konz, Roach, Arum, his cuterman, Buboy)? he always acts like nothing has happened

Patok – yes, needles, cut off dates, $18M instead of $40M, stadium, cuts not healing. Expect Arum who said he wants to make the fight in 2014 to ” I was lying yesterday but today I’m telling the truth ” and put on another inhouse cherrypick.

Arum is ready to cash out on the back end of Manny’s career but its TOO late. Floyd’s ego has already been bruised when he humbled himself and took a 50-50 split even though he thought he deservesd more but Arum RAN from the table over drug testing…and then he turned down 40 milllion flat…now he’l have to settle for $25 million or NO Fight.

Posted November 24, 2013 5:47 am

Arum kept the Fight by coming UP with ridiculous excuses. “Manny’s cut won’t be healed” …”a new stadium needs to be built” …

boxtradamus so whats keeping the fight off if floyd is untouhable? because he sees something in pac that we dont see, he’s the master right? he knows deep inside that pac can give him problems, so the unexpected reasons come up, otherwise this fight has been done 3 yrs ago..this is an easy fight according to him right? why not just take it? again becauae he see’s and feel something about pac that we dont..

Posted November 24, 2013 5:23 am

Boxtradamus

Well its a GOOD thing that Floyd is SO GREAT that he can change Defenses and abandon the shoulder roll like he DID vs Mosley and he can still Box your SOCKS off when he does that. Pac’s only chance was a knockout but it seems that 140 is the MAX for his knockout power…that means he has to depend on oiut Boxing Floyd which is llike trying to depend on hitting the Lotto…You don’t depend on hitting the Lottery. You HOPE and PRAY thst you hit it knowing that its not very likely.

This time he’ll shatter it all to HELL … and Pac is a guy he can beat if he’s at his “ATGreatest best.” … We’ll see what Floyd can do with this level of opposition. Cotto had Floyd bloodied up … Pacquiao will present more problems. Zab Judah already showed that the shoulder roll doesn’t work that well against a fast, slick southpaw with power in both hands.

people say pac is exciting and floyd is boring.

i reckon pac can be boring at time times also especially tonight.

all he does is go in throw a premeditated combination then goes back out

on the other hand floyd sets up shots and out smarts the other fighter

floyd makes adjustments to find ways to hit his opponents while pac just keeps throwing the same premeditated shots hoping they will eventually land

Manny Pacquiao put on a performance for the ages. Boxers in the future can look at this fight and see beauty in the form of boxing. This was Picasso painting the Mona Lisa. Manny Pacquiao put on a brilliant, dominating display of precision boxing. His movement was poetic and graceful. He made the brutal sport of boxing look artistic as he masterfully dissected his opponent round by round. Sugar Ray Robinson, and Willie Pep would have been proud. The world finally had the opportunity to see the most anticipated boxing come back fight in history. No one knew what to expect, some wanted Manny Pacquiao to retire, and many had the confidence that Manny could comeback from his devastating loss. The country of the Philippines needed to get their hope back. They needed to know that there child, Manny Pacquiao could carry them all on his shoulders and bring them a victory. Manny did more than that. Through his spectacular boxing performance, Manny Pacquiao brought people together. He shook the hands of those that dishonored his camp and his father like trainer. He showed true class and forgiveness to the millions and millions of people that watched this fight. Thank you Manny Pacquiao for showing all of us what a true professional athlete is all about.

Pac took the last half of round 12 off decided to not beat the crap out of rios anymore as rios was just standing around waiting for the fight to end. Rios is not a counter puncher obviously. Only good shots rios had were in the clinch when he punch manny in the back and back of the head. Rios couldn’t get off jab or blah anything, well you have to try to punch to get off punches. Rios needs to learn to throw some punches is what he needs. Who did rios train with for this fight school girls, did they have pillow fights for sparring, rios is such a joke it isn’t even funny. Rios C level fighter and not more than that. You don’t even need skills to be rios just have to be busy and have stamina to move and he can do sheeet. Guess you need a softy to make you look good so you can get in line for another big fight so, hopefully the next fight is a big fight and not another softy to bill up the wallet, cause I think pac isn’t out there to prove he is the best, I think pac is just trying keep busy and make money, else he would demand a mayweather fight or some other big fight where he may lose. George foreman milked his career as far as he could and most of his late fight sucked, hope pac will do more than just milk it, as he is really just milking it right now.

Manny is an honorable, respectful, caring, giving, fearless, understanding, compassionate and loving human being that happens to be a great boxer. It’s time that haters give this man his just due. His Picasso type boxing exhibition he put on display tonight was nothing less than perfection. Manny Pacquiao proved that he is more than just a strong puncher, but also a scientific, sharp shooting, technically sound master boxer. Haters must give this man credit. lets get right to it:
Manny won! yes, we all knew that; however, we thought that Rios was going to fight but he did not. Many of us chose Manny to win; nevertheless, we gave Rios a puncher’s chance but he did not even punch. Not only that, he gave every fighter out there a blueprint on how to beat him.

Manny won but something was missing. The aura that surrounds Pacquiao was not there. All those leaches that circle his presence are sucking his life dry. Perhaps, the year off put a bit of rust on him; however, he is not in a place to challenge Floyd. Floyd will pick him apart slowly. I think Manny needs another tune up fight soon; then, we will see.

If Rios would had put up a fight he might have had a chance. Fighters such as Bradley, Garcia, Marquez, and others in the division would had taken advantage of the rust Manny was displaying; however, Brandon was there for target practice as some of the people here noted before. furthermore, the card was not very good! I feel sorry for those who paid money to watch this “show”.

PEEJ….6 rounds you say….lol…You need some new glasses. It’s ok for pretender Floyd to box and move but not for Pacman. Grow a brain mate and wake up to yourself.

Posted November 24, 2013 2:35 am

TARK

I thought there was a 90% chance that Pacquiao was going to win a decision… So my bets were the over (9.5) and Pacquiao by decision … but this fight could have been stopped. Brandon was taking so many unanswered punches. He was so beaten up he couldn’t mount a late charge. I expected him to mount a terrific attack in the last 2 rounds because of being so far behind … but he was just in there to finish at that point because nothing he could do was working.

He just doesn’t have a jab. He just couldn’t get any offense going. His defense sucked worse than I expected. Pacquiao was more superior to Rios than I thought he’d be. The only reason this fight went 12 was Rios has the greatest chin. I thought he might win 2 or 3 rounds, and at least make the fight exciting … which he couldn’t do.

Mike Tyson.., “Brandon Rios has such a warrior mentality. He just keeps coming and this is going to be a very exciting fight.” This was actually a mismatch and Rios really has to work on his jab and defense. He wasn’t able to provide drama and excitement because he was being outfought by such an overwhelming degree.

He needs a very long rest like Pacquiao took — but you can’t just kick your shoes off because you made 4 million dollars. You have to address your lack of skills if you want a good lengthy career. You can’t be satisfied knowing there’re guys so much better than you out there.

Hardknock- No Im faithful only to my pinoy. His mustache, his pecs, his balls sweaty and moist. Thats the only reason I tune in. Im delighted to pay any amount of money to Bob Arum as long as I get to see my buttercup Pacquioa. Although if Pacquioa ever fought Mayweather I may contemplate a 12 incher but it would be near to impossible to catch Mayrunner, what with all the marathon running he does in the ring.

The legendary Manny Pacquiao is an amazing boxer/puncher. His ring generalship tonight was the best I’ve ever seen. The feints, right hooks, straight left hands, the defensive mastery and the superior all around boxing talent was amazing to witness. Manny Pacquiao will soundly defeat Bradley, Ped Man Marquez and Mayweather. I wonder what the excuses Mayweather will have not to fight Manny since Manny was tested for PEDS for this fight? Manny Pacquiao, the Pride of the Philippines and the Pride of the world has now clearly put himself in the P4P #1 position without question. Rios had no idea where he was and gave up after feeling the power and receiving the punishment Manny put on him. Mayweather, Bradley and Marquez are all shaking in their shoes. Manny will win a 9th division title next year. We will never see another elite fighter at this level ever again. We must all appreciate this iconic, honorable, warrior that is Manny Pacquiao.

Rios was Handpicked for Manny he was nothing more than a dehydrated punching bag. Top rank has no interest in a showdown with Mayweather they never have no matter how many people want it they never have . Look for Manny to get a rematch with Bradley then The jew will set up Marquez 5. He likes to keep all they money in house and his fighter away from Floyd the same way he did when he had Cotto. These Pactards claim this and that about Floyd being scared when the reality is Arum will never let his Golden goose fly the coop. He kept Oscar away from Floyd who had called for the fight for years before he got it. Arum has a strangle hold on his fighters. and they will only fight other top rank fighters. And the public suffers because these big matches wont happen. Manny vs, Marquez or Bradley is all you will ever have period.

This is how you win fights… just box and avoid going toe to toe. This is how Floyd wins fight… by points… Pac should do the same now…it’s a great idea, why didn’t Roach thought of that before.

Terrible undercard fights. No big names, no meaningful fights. The Chinese guy was given a tomato can to gut. The black dude heavyweight quit because he needed to call his mom and greet her happy birthday. I don’t what’s up with that. As for the main event, Rios won 3 rounds from the judges, Pac won 33. Maybe they should’ve put gloves on Garcia and Roach to entertain us.

What a borning waste of money fight. Pac , a fast veteran, against a very slow mediocre fighter. This was a cherry picked fight, if I ever seen one and the sad part is he never even hurt Rios the pinata. Pac danced like he was auditioning for dancing with the stars and one time they even spooed what a joke.

Hey here’s an idea…. why doesn’t Pacquiao just boxes and avoid going toe to toe now, just like Floyd winning his fights by points. Pac did pretty good just by boxing alone in this fight. Pac should follow in the footstep of those boxers who are afraid of going toe to toe and just be contented with just running around in the ring.

Manny Pacquiao just put on the greatest display of boxing ever seen. His first fight in a year, and he displayed what everyone now thinks is the greatest boxer of all time. Defense, speed, movement, control of the pace, ring smarts. Tonight he was better than Duran, Robinson, Leonard, Hagler and the rest of the great ones. The world is shinning brighter, people have got their hope back, poverty has taken a hit, hope is smiling on us all. Manny Pacquiao set an example to us all. He shook the hands of wrong and shameful and forgave them all. He promised to win this for his country, his family, his camp and for himself. Never again will we see the type of greatness tha was inside the squared circle tonight. Manny Pacquiao put on the most graceful, explosive, dominating boxing performance ever. This man was poetry in motion. He played with this tough former world champion and sliced him into pieces. A day of celebration needs to be presented for Manny Pacquiao today and tomorrow. Everyone, please celebrate safely and never forget the magic, majestic triumphant boxing return of Manny Pacquiao. The universe is smiling today. Manny Pacquiao has carried all of us on his back and did the impossible. Let the celebration begin.

rios faught like a girl, he just waited in their to finish the fight never taking any chances. I haven’t seen rios before and wow he stinks. I haven’t even faught before and I could go in and be a punching bag cause that is all rios was. Rios had no game plan, he wasn’t looking for openings, he wasn’t throwing caution to the wind at any point. Rios was there for a paycheck apparently and I would say not even properly conditioned for the fight. There are good fights out there but enough cherry picking, you had your one freebee fight pac, time to fight a tough fight where stamina alone doesn’t carry the day for you, where you actually have to have a plan b, c, d to win. One game plan here be fast and athletic and thats all it would take as rios never could adapt or even tryed to adapt. Boo Boo we need a better fight next time against a man this time not a boy.

Packman looked good but against this fool Rios, any fighter would have.
A very bad fight for the sport and also , Rios corner should have stopped it midfight around the 5 th round. Again Packman looked Great because his opponent was soooo Bad. If I were Rios I’d keep my mouth shut and possibly think about doing something else for a livelihood. He shamed himsef, the sport of boxing and his great heritage, this guy should be banned from the sport OR he’ll turn out like Meldrick Taylor, brain damaged so badly that no one will understand what he’s talkin’ about.
It’s fighters like him ( Rios ) who run their mouths before a fight then tank during the fight … this fool was never in the fight nor did he want to be in the fight, his share of the purse should be refunded to all opf us who paid to watch it …. PEACE … LAstly, if Packman was so great then why didnt he KO this fool … I have no respect for either fighter ….Boxingdictionary.com
