Sheriff Joe’s chicken

PE- The only reason why Manny is fighting mexicans is because every other fighter is NOT on the list of good opponents for Pacquioa, that includes puerto rican fighters. Heck I dont recall you ever congratulating Pacquioa on beating Cotto “el joto” to a bloody pulp. Seriously name a puerto rican fighter at welter or lightweight that would be a good enough opponent for Pacquioa….exactly ZERO. NONE.

Pacquiao needs to provoke Floyd in order for the fight to happen. Put up a big Billboard sign in Las Vegas that reads “Floyd, why are you ducking Pacquiao?” and a big picture of Pacquiao in that Uncle Sam outfit that reads… “Pacquiao wants you”

Foolish idiots that can’t listen well, always taking something out of context.

Manny said I will fight whoever my promoter puts in front of me, I am willing to fight Floyd if he is willing to, it’s up to him.

Manny knows that his promoter is not in good terms with Floyd, so that means it will be difficult to make the fight, then he states what every fool wants to hear, remember he has said this before, “I want to fight Floyd” yet he depends on his promoter. Then they decide his return date will be 12th April 2014, every fool that can think that loves Manny can attest that Floyd announced his return date after the Canelo fight as May 2014. So if this congressman wants to fight him, why is he returning in April 2014?

This congressman is a very good politician!

jim rich youre right, both sides has the blame, what i cant stand is some floyd worshippers, saying pac is not deserving to fight floyd but who they want to get the fight, khan? hahaha they dont want to gve credit to pac even though the world knows what is the most important and biggest fight out there is floyd vs pac

floyd shutouts opponent doing potshots 2 punch at a time hug,run a little, shoulder roll, hit and not get hit people say: thats sweet science!
manny shutouts opponent while doing it excitingly throw a lot of combinations, hitting and not get hit people say: pac is washed up, cant ko opponent, he’s shot he has no skills, if its pacquiao its not sweet science, if its floyd, “what a masterful display of boxing, hit an not get hit thats sweet science” patehtic floyd worshippers

You don’t prove yourself by beating weaker competition, you prove yourself by beating equal competition. All this proves is Rios is not in pac league and that pac is ready to seriously train and get ready to fight. If pac and mayweather don’t fight it will have negative consequences on both of their careers as far as their all time standing in history. Seems even pac and mayweather are more interested in ego and a paycheck than history. So I think the current generation of boxers are not as good as what I’ve seen of some past champions who faught everyone, even when they were over the hill they faught the best even if they lost. Boxing doesn’t seem like a fan sport anymore just a bunch of boxers fighting to maxmize their paychecks and nothing more.

I notice pac changed his style. Boxing more and being less reckless. Looked a lil like may. Not as good of defense but better than years past. With this new found style he can preserve himself a lil longer and take less punishment.

Did MP and Rios undergo random testing for this fight?

This generation has 2 best fighters of the sport of boxing. Why deny the fans to see who is the best. Stop finger pointing just get it on. I for one will pay just to see it happen.

Pac is a made man and doesnt need top rank. Follow floyds model and he can promote himself. Remember when odh and cotto left top rank? Fight w may was easily made. When jmm briefly left top rank , fight w floyd easily made. Pac leaves top rank and continues to agree w random drug testing pac n may fight can be easily made. Why is pac still w top rank anyway? He can promote himself!

IF Manny really wanted to fight floyd he would get out of top rank an make the fight happen stop coming up with lame excuses .

Anonymous another floyd duckweather fan, if floyd so good than fight its worth the most money and its what the fans want so floyd has to or he is a hypocrit. It’s laughable if he fights khan shows how scared of a real fight he is. Garcia whipped khan inside four, floyd couldnt

If Pacquiao was a Blackman, Floyd fanboys would be going on and on about how masterfully Pacquiao put on a boxing clinic show last night.

^+1. Very true. Butttt if he was a white guy, all the white dudes would do the same, Mexican so on and so forth. Andddd since he’s filipino, the entire asia is saying it.

“What’s all the hype about, there was nothing special of Manny beating Rios it was already written Rios was tailor made for Manny that’s why he was chosen…”

What was Robert Guerrero for Mayweather? Bam Bam is a good enough fighter to pose a serious risk to Manny if he lost focus or fought carelessly. He caught Manny with some good shots. But once Pac got warmed up and figured out Rios, Manny took over the show.

But yeah, there was something special about Manny beating Rios: An awful lot of people were either hoping Manny would get KOd again or they were expecting him to.

That was a damned impressive performance by Manny Pacquiao. Rios is no slouch. Manny is just that much better.

“Gret job, Hidalgo!!!

Do you have anything for James Gogue?”

Sorry Joseph, didn’t see your question until after the show. I did have a question for James but you asked it, regarding how Pacquiao would do against Mayweather considering his ability as an effective aggressor.

James gave some great analyses tonight. Pleasure listening to him.

Thanks again for giving me the opportunity to talk to both of you.

Manny looked great – From what I can tell, He finally got the message that judges no longer want to see him take extended breaks during the action. VS Rios he was non-stop and used excellent selection with his gloves and feet. Those punches were thudding all fight long. Rios shouldn’t have been that outgunned though – He was overpaid and underprepared. I’m hoping Manny gives Provo a shot at the big cash next.

What’s all the hype about, there was nothing special of Manny beating Rios it was already written Rios was tailor made for Manny that’s why he was chosen, reason #1rios to slow #2rios is a sluger #3come forward no head movement tipe of fighter …. This fight was wack , just to make Manny look good beating up a tomato can now everybody is buying in to this bs . and to make matters worst nap man always talks about Floyd runs when he fights another bs lie but anyway nap man was running for his life against rios an doin a lot of holding, and not to mention Manny has way to many flaws floyd will definitely pick this bum apart manny/bob/roach they all no this that’s why they never wanted to really set up a fight with Floyd ..

TARK

The Froch-Groves stoppage was premature — however Groves was starting to get the snot knocked out him in the ninth… Froch opened the fight very poorly and couldn’t get his sea legs going…he looked really bad for a while, like a 4-round fighter… He started horribly against Jermain Taylor too—and I never figured that out except I thought it was jet-lag.

But Froch was starting to find the range with telling blows round by round.

Pacquiao looked masterful vs Rios… He gave the kid a boxing lesson like he’s never gotten from anyone. He gave Brandon lessons in feinting, deception, footwork, angles, jabbing, leading with hooks, leading with straight power shots, combination punching, and controlling the ring space — all areas that Brandon might perform better with in his next fight … if Brandon studies this fight day by day… There’s a lot there for him to chew on.

Good to have Manny back. The Bradley fight was a robbery of a decision. Manny was actually looking good against an artificially pumped up Marques. I think that the Marquez fight was an aberration as Marguez was pumped up on steroids and had ‘sudden’ new power. I’m glad that Manny took some time off to recover and came back strong. I don’t think that Manny should waste any more time fighting Marquez, so long as he’s hanging out with that Angel steroids guy. He should take on Bradley and then Mayweather. Mayweather/Pacman is still THE FIGHT everyone wants to see, and I hope it happens. Pacman is the ONE GUY who could defeat Mayweather with his fast hands, unorthodoxed aggrestive style. Would be a great fight.
