I’ll say 3 things…. Canelo isn’t going to be matched with Golovkin because he’d get smashed. Like Macklin and Stevens—Saul could never maintain the pace with GGG throwing 100 punches a round. He’d get run over in 8 or 9 rounds.
Groves was getting beaten up by Froch in the 9th. Groves was ahead, but like Jermain Taylor he can’t defend himself. George was starting to go under like Taylor did. Another 2 rounds he’d be gone. Nothing is going to change in a rematch. Nothing changed for Kessler because he’s fairly easy to hit too. Froch is easy to hit too, but he’s physically tougher and stronger than those guys. Groves has a nice right hand but he’s a sitting duck for about anything coming in.
Kovalev needs to be matched with Stevenson. He’s the genuine article. The real deal. He can box, punch, and defend. I would hope, since they’re on the same card, and both light heavyweight champions, that a matchup is coming. We don’t get enough great fights in Boxing and this is one.Posted November 28, 2013 1:56 am
So you all know. Mundine stopped Mosley. Mosley complained and quit from a sore back. This is what happens when a fighter is only in it for the money and a younger SMW overpowers an old Welterweight. Absolute joke from all parties.Posted November 27, 2013 8:23 am
…and what about the eliminator to fight FMJ next. Mundine vs Mosley taking place in about an hour. HahahahahaPosted November 27, 2013 6:30 am
We’ll touch on that, too, my man! No doubt! Hope you’re tuned in!Posted November 26, 2013 10:27 pm
