If by ‘World Champion’ we mean ‘Britain’s toughest taxicab driver’ then I agree completely. Chisora against the winner of Stiverne-Arreola 2 (assuming Vitali retires) would be fun and might represent the only way that Del-Boy could actually win a belt.

Voice of Reason ; I actually meant that he could be paper a
” champion ” like Povertkin or Haye . They both got the WBA ” title gifted ” , since Wlad actually WON the belt ! As far as who would win ,
( Povetkin – Chisora ) , Probably Povetkin . But neither of them has
the slightest chance against the Champ , as we all saw with
Povetkin . Kind of ironic isn’t it , Vitaly beat Chisora using basically his one ( left ) hand , while Wlad also beat Povetkin using basically
his one hand ( left ) . Still , I would love to see Wlad beating up on Chisora .

Yeah and my Mommy says I’m going to be president. Chisora is a solid fighter but as others alluded to he’s not the best British fighter.

Chisoras trainer needs to keep away from the carck pipe if he believes that!

Chisora is a giant lump of cookie dough and not even the best heavyweight in Britain let alone the world

Fight Aficionado

Chisora’s had lots of chances especially for a guy with so few fights. He’s fallen short in all his biggest bouts. Solid contender but not a champion.

OBVIOUSLY ( CHISORA’S ) TRAINER IS SUFFERING FROM CRACK WITHDRAWAL TO SAY OR EVEN THINK THAT HIS CHARGE COULD BE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAPION OF THE WORLD IN A KLITSCHKO ERA ! GIVE ME A FREAKIN’ BREAK !

Just for fun, I’ll go even further: Rosie O’Donnell wins a beauty contest AND Judge Judy wins an affability contest!

Double dip

I would go one further. I expect Delboy to be elected Mayor of London as well.

For a career make or break fight Pala looks flabby and out of shape this is going to go the same way as the Gerber fight

As long as both of the Klitschkos are around, Chisora will never be a world champion.

In other news, the Blind Shiekh, Omar Abdel-Rahman, has converted to Roman Catholicism.

Boring fight Wlad would hug hug hug. I would like to see John Ruiz come out of retirement and fight Wlad we would then have our first official boxing Waltz.

Hey ‘K-2 fan’ – you think povetkin is an easy touch then? i would fancy him to ruin chisora. Povetkin is a very under-estimated boxer

Well I would love to see David Chisora take on to challange the undisputed heavyweight world champion Wladimir Klitschko. Chisora is a tuff heavyweight fighter to face in the ring and him facing Wladimir would be an interesting heavyweight fight. But wait for the vacant WBC title when Vitali retires is something not to lucrative for fans to wait for as the WBC title holder will never get any big recognition more then a paper champion as long as Wladimir Klitschko is the Lineal, unifed and universally recognised world heavyweight champion in the game no one else will be called “The Champ” unless Wladimir Klitschko is defeated in the ring or retires and the world title belts (Ring title, WBA, IBF, WBO & IBO) are vacated.

Maybe a ” world champion ” like Povetkin .

Some big bad boys to get past first. Cant see chisora beating the likes of perez or stiverne let alone wladimir. Also see him losing to jennings, andy ruiz, mansour, povetkin and wilder. probably a few more names ive missed. I like chisoras attitude and self-belief and wish him all the best. But theres some real tough fights out there.

Posted November 29, 2013 11:31 am

mr gav

If vitali retires then chisora stands a very good chance of becoming a world champion.as for beating waldimir no chance at this moment in time no one will beat him. As for other contenders for WBC belt then yes del boy stands a chance of winning that. And vlad your probably right lol

JT154lbsChamp

I dont like chisora but I do agree with this stay busy schedule. He will stay hungry and in shape. He has the skills to tangle with the best. The best fighters were active in the old days. If he fights more than 4 times a year he will be dangerous. He does need to fight credibe fighters however 3 avg guys and one contender is not the worst schedule

Vlad the Impaler

I agree with Mack. I still look forward to Chisora fights, as long as its against a name. This fight means nothing, just another win for him, and moves him closer to a bigger fight. Chisora vs Arreola would be great! Chisora vs.. Stiverne, Wilder, Povetkin, Pulev etc. meanwhile Wilder is probably trying to solicite a fight with Mago..

No doubt, Chisora is in better shape this year. I like Chisora because he stays active and has an agressive style in the ring. Still, I don’t see how knocking over unknowns gets him a shot at the title or prepares him for beating the top men. When he has stepped up, he has fallen short. Good luck to Chisora and his handlers, but I don’t see him as a champion.
