And shame on all the black people who voted for obama just because he was black. Lol! How TOTALLY ironic that there was FINALLY a decent white guy to vote for in ron paul, but didnt because he was white. A helpful hint for the future…. if all the establishment media whores prop up a candidate non stop, but seem to only demonize others, he/she is just another puppet. Since the “first black president” thing has already played out, i theorize the establishments next ploy will be “the first woman president” , and that ploy should be plenty good enough to fool the masses again. Sadly though, it will just be another 8 years of destroying the country/world. BTW, the masses should stop hating on the 1% because Its the 1/10 of 1% who are the true devils. Most of the 1% are normal folks who are just go getters and hard workers. Its the super rich who fu ck us all.

why dont all these muslims take their allah and burkahs and FU#K off back to the desert.

Lol at everyone that voted for obama and goerge bush. What is totally sad and pathetic, is after BOTH of them totally F ed the country up for EIGHT years, there are people who would STILL vote for them. BTW, the clinton administration is responsible for the housing crisis, as him and larry summers dismantled the glass-stigel (sp?) Act, that, from what I understand, kept the Wallstreet FATCATS out of the housing market. Youtube “builderburg”, “housing crisis and glass-stielgal act” and “bohemian grove” and eduicate yourselves.

Lol at how the powers that be led americans like sheep back in the 70s to HATE iran……. why? Because iran took THEIR oil fields back from British petroleum.

ha, I’ve seen your earlier posts running down Pacquiao. Manny is doing his bit too. Look it up, you have access to the internet! Disasters don’t recognize religion.

Posted December 4, 2013 12:55 pm

While I agree the funds shouldn’t target just at muslims, how is that any different than a bible school fundraiser which only helps the church. It should come as no surprise that Khan is muslim. It would be nice if it was for everybody but at least Khan is helping.

What is Manny doing?

If the aid is just for Filipino Muslims, that seems wrong. After all, won’t the wider help being given go to everyone? Why should anyone else help Muslims then? Islam needs to get real and lose the superior attitude, it’s just one faith out of many in this world. Disasters don’t recognize religions. Ask Allah.

You could donate money to the Palestinian refuges for food and medical needs and some american groups would red flag you as being a terrorist supporter, even if the money went for just that. When it comes to these issues the spin and twisting could turn a cat into a dog.

Damn, can;t get the rest through moderation. Welll, I’m done trying. Make your own minds up folks…

Whether Islamic Relief Worldwide and the International Islamic Relief Organization are two different organizations, or whether the former is an offshoot of the latter (formed because of the tarnished reputation of the former), is unclear. However, what *is* clear is that serious allegations of terrorst links against *both* organisations have been made, and backed up with credible evidence. Try googling “Islamic Relief Worldwide terrorism” and seeing the dossier put together by Stand for Peace, for example (and Stand for Peace is itself an organisation run by a Palestinian).

@ Hidalgo
I completely agree the money will only be for Filipino Muslims. It is still a kind act but it taints it a little bit IMO

Posted December 3, 2013 7:53 pm

Islamic Relief (Amir’s charity here) and the IIRO charity are different organisations. Even Wikipedia urges you not to muddle them. It’s the IIRO that has the supposed links to terrorist organisations (though it is appealing against being judged formally associated, it seems). So there you go. Credit to Khan for charitable efforts. (Even if he can be a bit of a tosser otherwise).

Martin, 10 days after bomb attacks in July 2005 on London Amir came into the ring proudly holding the British flag wearing black ribbons with the words London embroidered on them, so there is one example, and like most Muslims and most people I think believes in peace. This theory that the charity supports terrorism is only a theory, just the same at the theory that US charities and governments and big business supported and funded the IRA for decades in my eyes Amir is only trying to do good here and there is no hidden agenda. I am totally atheist by the way so don’t understand what relevance Islam or any religion have to charity but if the money raised helps people then that’s good for me.

I doubt its only for muslims, because about a year ago in America in OK. there was a tornado that wiped out many, many holmes. And I recall a muslim group went down there to help out, everybody was helped infact theres not many muslims in OK…lol.

Martin..Alot of times when a earthquake or floods happen some people will say why arent the muslim groups not helping? So now a guy like Khan who is muslim helps through a muslim group it now becomes evil, its a no win situation. And yes Khan is against extremist muslims because he boxes which they are against and he listens to music and was in a music video, something they are very against, therefore they are not cut from the same cloth. As for American websites putting a negative spin on islamic groups, well is that shocking? Bin Laden brother was a huge real estate dealer in florida, does that mean florida was involved in terrorism? America has done some horrible things against muslims and islamic counties in the last 15yrs and really dates back alot further overall ofcourse. And ofcourse some people and groups like blackwater got very rich because of this. But that dosent mean all of America is evil, and dosent have decent charitable groups helping those in need. This typhoon relief money will be traced and followed like all chairity funds are you can count on fox news for that..lol. But those that need will be helped in this tragic time, thanks to people like Khan.

FA, I’m guessing that Khan’s charity is intended for Muslim victims in the Phillipines, not just any Filipino. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have organized it through the IIRO. Not saying that’s good or bad or right or wrong. But I’ll bet that with a little investigation you will find that the charity is for Filipino Muslims.

Posted December 3, 2013 5:30 pm

Hey, if you guys feel you are entitled to compliment Khan for his charitable efforts, Martin is entitled to criticize him. After all, it’s just a matter of opinions.

Posted December 3, 2013 5:27 pm

Bigups to Khan for doing something charitable for the typhoon victims. This from a guy who isn’t even Filipino or have a big fan base there.

Martin

This is from expert testimony given to the US Government’s National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States in 2003:

“Mohammad Jamal Khalifa is the brother-in-law of Osama bin Laden. He arrived in the Philippines in 1988 and he became the first director, the founding director, of the International Islamic Relief Organization … He used the IIRO to funnel al-Qaeda funds to the Abu Sayyaf group and the Moral Islamic Liberation Front. He also hosted Khalid Shaikh Mohammad, the brother- in-law of Ramzi Mohammad Yousef, the first World Trade Center bomber. … the old Plan Bojinka, the plan that al Qaeda had in 1994 to destroy 12 U.S. airliners over the Pacific simultaneously … was the genesis of 9/11 operation. If you read the interrogation of Khalid Shaikh Mohammad, who is now in U.S. custody, he has very clearly stated how 9/11 was planned, that it originated from old Plan Bojinka, that plan.”

As far as the involvement of the International Islamic Relief Organization and Islamic Relief Worldwide with terrorism and extremism, this is just the tip of the iceberg.

But of course, I’m just making all this up.

So yes, well done Amir. I hope you pick your future opponent more wisely than you do your charities.

Oh Dear

Martin, would you like to tell us how much money you donated?…Probably none as you are far too busy posting idiotic comments. Amir Khan is known for his charitable work for both his local and the wider community, something you would have no concept of. Jealousy is not a pretty thing!!

Amir Khan seems like a nice guy and always has been. God bless him for helping those less fortunate, but please don’t ever say Khan does more than Manny Pacquiao in the Philippines. That is simply a disrespectful thing to say about the greatest pure fighter in history and the greatest humanitarian in all of sports. Manny has been giving more to his country than anyone. He not only helps and give financially, but he’s a great congressman that talks the talk and walks the walk. The great Manny Pacquiao will one day be President of the Philippines, and will shock the world as he turns his country around for the good of the world. Mark my word, this will happen. Manny never forgets where he came from. Regardless of what happens in the ring, he helps his country. This is one reason why Manny Pacquiao is the most admired, adored, loved and respected boxer and athlete of all time. His true character is unquestioned. This is a man of God that helps his fellow man in a time of disaster. Manny Pacquiao is one great human being.
