BOXER: Agree. It would seem that Broner is way too smart to even entertain a fight with Marquez. His team knows that Broner is not at Marquez’s level and they want at least one more of those hair-combing punk drama episodes before they have to move on to a hair-pulling drama.

I agree with most! he does NOT deserve a shot at Marquez….with the lack of professionalism he showed in his last fight, he needs a couple good wins at 135 before he’s deserving of someone like Marquez. Marquez has NOTHING to gain fighting Broner and at this stage of his career…he needs/wants/deserves the BIGGEST fights with the FATTEST checks!

As much as I dislike Broner (he’s a phony), I think he would beat Marquez easily. I love Marquez, but real is real Broner has the skills to do it. The question that remains is what happens when he gets hit, maybe shaken up, maybe dropped, that’s when we’ll know who Adrien Broner is!!!

Rob Smith needs to watch some more boxing. Who has Broner fought? Escobedo? Seriously! None of Broner’s opponents were near the talent and expereince of Marquez. Marquez took Pacquiao to the limits and this author thinks Broner can beat Marquez by SIMPLY comparing Mayweather (pound for pound great) with Broner (immature and undiciplined)?!? Mayweather has been in with the TOP names in boxing and has earned his accalades, just as Marquez has done. Broner needs to grow up, act like an adult and show some discipline for coming in at the weight he is supposed to be at. He acts like an immature teenager trying WAY to hard to be like Mayeather (antics not boxing prowlness). Rob should show some skills and boxing credibility before being able to post articles on ESB. How about proving if aliens exist Rob?

A fight with Gamboa would be nice. I think Broner has a better chin and defense while Gamboa may have a slight speed advantage. Gamboa may have more power at 135. I see Broner winning this fight do to better defense and accuracy. and in a toe to toe Broner gets the nod because of the chin.

broner is no where close to demanding a fight with a marquez. he really needs to fight a top ten fighter at 135lbs. win a title and then unify the titles will give broner the credibility to demand the bigger fights. right now he should focus on building his legacy. he wants to be the next mayweather but in order to do that he has to continue to work hard win titles and beat the best in his division. to me he is like a poor mans mayweather. he needs a lot of work to be ‘money’. broner vs demarco that should be his next fight.

How is Broner going to make 135 when he weighed 146 for his last fight that was supposed to be at 130? He clearly lacks discipline and should not be given any big fights until he proves he can make the weight contracted for that fight.

Sorry but broner is not a ppv fighter yet, so he needs to work his way up by facing opposition that can eventually build him up as a ppv fighter. It will take some time though, plus Marquez would knock him out bec he is no one to play around with.
