Agbeko will be totally out classed, he’ll get destroyed by Rigo. it won’t be close at all. Rigo is miles better than Agbeko. Expect Agbeko to take a severe boxing lesson from a master boxer at his best.

Agbeko ain’t afraid to let em go, so I expect him to keep the fight entertaining. However Rigondeaux should win by a close UD.

Agbeko is a little past his prime, but it should be an entertaining fight. A lot less strategic than Rigo vs Donaire.

Killing Moon The Soothsayer

I rate Agbeko high in terms of handspeed, workrate and in walking down his opponent…He’s also an awkward fighter who can hit from all angles….However Rigo won’t respect Agbeko’s punching power and counter-punching as much as he did Donaires…So I think this schooling will be a different one,I think Rigo tkos Agbeko late…Agbeko sometimes displays a dumb weakness standing a little too long infront of his opponent…That will be deadly against such a precise puncher as Rigo..How rhythmic this fight gets will also have a huge impact…Because if you let Rigo decide it…you can’t win, he’s too good(Let’s be honest Rigo is sooo good you might not have a choice other than to accept his terms)…After i’ve said all these things being a huge fan of Rigos …Agbeko actually have the skillset to offer a challenge…But one thing is to have the physical tools…Another thing is to beat a master of the mind and body..Which Rigo is…He can ko you, outbox you, outthink you….And he has seen everything you do in the ring before….He’s just the best.

I’d say Agbeko will do better than Donaire, but only in an “arguable” way. By that I mean, Agbeko will likely make more of a fight of it than Donaire did in terms of landing shots on Rigo… but in doing so, I think Agbeko will take far more damage than Donaire did.
So it really depends on what angle you look at it from. If you measure it just on how many shots Rigo takes, then Agbeko does better than Donaire. If you measure it just on how much damage Rigo dishes out, then Donaire will likely have had the better performance.

Agbeko by KO, round 3.

Comparing floyd to Rigo is like comparing apples to oranges. Rigo’s footwork and combinations are better than Floyd’s. Though he has been dropped few times. it’s really due to the fact that he sometimes likes to get a fighter out of there. Floyd might have the edge in defence but he holds more often than Rigo, who mostly rely on his head movement and footwork. He’s hooks to the body are simply a beauty to watch no-one does it better than Rigo.

DEAR JOURNALIST-I HOPE,YOU’LL WRITE THE CONTINUATION AND ANSWER TO THIS ARTICLE MAIN “DOUBT”OR “GREY ZONE” FOR YOU,AFTER RIGO, KOed THE F..K OUT OF AGBEKO ON THE 6TH………..CUBA IS NOT IN THE MEDIA,FOR OBVIOUS POLITIC ISSUES,AND WHEN IS ABOUT THE MYSTIC OF CUBAN BOXERS,AND LONG BOXING DOMINANCE,YOU AND ALL THE WESTERN PEOPLE SEEMS SURPRISED,BECAUSE ,EDUCATED IN THE SAME BRAINWASHING LABORATORY AGAINST THE LITTLE REBEL-ISLAND AND IGNORING HIS SUCCESS IN SPORTS..YOU DON,T HAVE UPDATING ABOUT THE LONG HISTORY AND PEDIGREE OF HIS ATHLETES AND THE FACT THAT CUBANS DON’T HAVE TO FOLLOW ON AMERICAN BOXERS AS A ROLE MODELS,CAUSE FOR EVERY ALI,OR LEONARD,CUBANS HAVE TEN OF COUNTERPARTS,….BUT MEDIA IS A BUSINESS AS WE KNOW…….MY QUESTION IS NOT IF RIGONDEAUX,WILL WIN,BUT MORE OVER,IF IT WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE BEGINING OR AT THE END OF THE 6TH……..

Agbeko needs a gun to have any chance whatsoever. He will be grossly outclassed.

“Agbeko is being trained by Roger Mayweather. This is going to be a great fight.”

You can teach a horse new tricks but it’s still the same horse.

Agbeko is being trained by Roger Mayweather. This is going to be a great fight.

@Lucito – Mayweather was robbed. Winning a gold medal is no guarantee of future greatness.

rigondeaux it’s not somebody to bet on becouse he could be koed by a bum like agbeko. i cant say if is the african boy or the filippino but rigo will soon be forgotten for hitting the canvans hard and never get up again.

donaire outclassed : looked like amateur?? who wrote these article a ballerina : rigondeaux run for 12 rounds and when he stayd in the pocket he was dropped hard . i dont see these big deal about these 5′feet short cuban ugly chicken . the truth is that donaire was to confident that he cold ko rigondeaux that he mess up the fight. i bet all i have that rigo wont fight donaire in the future. agbeko it’s a little better then average fighter but still has a chance to beat the chinless midget.

who won an olympic gold, was it mayweather?

He is getting quality fights now, thats the main thing, no point wasting time on c grade guys, a guy with the skills that Rigo has should only be looking at b grade fighters for tune-ups. GGG please do the same.

TARK

Agbeko won’t do anything… Rigo will smash him.

Rigondeaux is keeping busy until the gets a qualified combatant into any ring in the world… It won’t be too long before Lomachenko, Frampton and others can give him great fights … He just needs to hang in there, keep fighting anybody and everybody … and wait, wait, wait for the talent to come up.

Everything comes to the man who waits.

Fight Aficionado

Rigo will school Agbeko all night. What I want is for him to go for the finish. Too many dudes call him boring. I don’t agree with that as he’s a very stylish boxer and doesn’t run. But if he can dominate a guy on the scorecards he can also go for the finish.

Posted December 5, 2013 6:22 pm

Proud African

Although I like Agbeko, realistically Rigo is better than Agbeko and should outclass him. Mayweather is the best of all time. He’s better than Rigo, although Rigo is not that far behind.

I agree. Rigondeaux is the best pure boxer in any weight division. Don’t listen to PEEJ he’s spends all his time sucking off Mayweather. PEEJ and SREDMOND would happily take it in the azz from Mayweather, they are his biatches.

I’m really looking forward to this one. Agbeko comes to fight and is no pushover.

I have to go with Rigo, but he’d better not take Agbeko lightly.

He couldn’t do much worse than Donaire.

Posted December 5, 2013 5:37 pm

PEEJ

You mean makes Pac look clumsy. Floyd is a great boxer and at the moment is head and shoulders above Rigo. Rigo has a ways to go to be better than Floyd.

Posted December 5, 2013 5:34 pm

Hec Dog

Rigondeaux will dismantle Agbeko worse than he did Donaire. This guy is slick, talented and does things effortlessly. He will make it look easy. Rigondeaux is the most technically skilled boxer today. He makes Mayweather look clumsy. Rigondeaux wins a 12 round UD or mid to late round stoppage.

This should be a really good fight the only thing we don’t know is which Agbeko will show up. I was really high on Agbeko before he lost to Mare’s I don’t know what happened in that second fight but he did not show up I have never seen so many fighters look great one fight and then look like garbage the next. It’s not the styles that are making these guys look like garbage it is the fighters them selves . Based on this fact I am going with Rig in this fight . I have Rig winning by TKO in the 8th.
