Should the word “from” be after the word moves and before the name James in the title?

yes the headline was misleeding….

we know andrade is the better boxer and more talented fighter then kirkland off top the questions is would andrade be able to hurt kirkland and keep him off of him i can see andrade outboxing kirkland right now andrade is a better fighter then glen tapia but when kirkland with anne wolf and he in tip top shape i give kirkland a chance against anybody at 154 but on paper andrade style will be all wrong for kirkland but it be a hard test for andrade to cause he havent face anybody that going to come with that hard feriocty pressure like kirkland going to bring

mARACHO, I am in total agreement of that. I am the first to admit, if James Kirkland is on the card, I’m watching. Either James or his opponent is getting knocked out .

Because some of us love competitors who get back up and give us great fights

Kirkland is fun to watch. I also like watching cars crash. I am always amazed how boxing nuthuggers can simply erase from their memories when their idols were once Kniocked out by inferior opposition. Ishida never happened. There is no record os such an occurnece. Right.

PEEJ

Yeah but that fight looked to me like Vanes didn’t event want to be in the same ring. I have seen him look much better. Also, not too big on Vanes. I am not big on Kirkland either but he is fun to watch. I am not to sure if Andrade cook keep him off of him.

Posted December 11, 2013 4:18 pm

maracho

Possibly but then Andrade dominated Martoroysian

Posted December 11, 2013 4:06 pm

PEEJ

I think Kirkland would KO Andrade.

Posted December 11, 2013 3:57 pm

maracho

Kirkland vs Andrade is another potential match-up

One thing about Kirkland is that if you don,t get him out of there,he will get you out of there especially if you go to the ropes and let him trigger his nonstop accurate uppercuts and overhand mixed arsenal on his victim. He obviously punches hard enough that his foe is stunned then gunned into submission.Kirkland is for real if he trains properly.he is one of the fun offensive fighters to watch.,Much likeFreddie Roach with power and a seasoned array of punches.Time will tell if he gets a rematch with the man that defeated him with several Knock downs. He needs to be tested with a lefty to see if his only defeat was due to lack of mindset and or training.

Fight Aficionado

So wait, Kirkland is not fighting on this card? WTF does the headline say “50 Cent moves James Kirkland to Big Apple Boxing show Dec. 20″? The press release never states anything but the lineup, which excludes Kirkland. It should state he’s making a promotional appearance and not fighting. Very bush league 50 dork.

The Garbageman

Still would be a good fight though. Heck he may already have that though with the way he likes to stay in trouble.

Posted December 11, 2013 12:15 pm

I see Good

Kirkland would end up with PERMANATE BRAIN DAMAGE in 1 round if he fought GGG.

Posted December 11, 2013 10:53 am

The Garbageman

Who cares about Mundine. Let him fight nobodies in Australia. Kirkland and GGG would be a good fight if Kirkland made it out of the first round. He seems to be able to take punches better as the fight goes on. No doubt GGG would win but I agree with PEEJ and think it would be a good fight. And exciting fight. A fight that Kirkland won’t win but would answer more questions about GGG

Posted December 11, 2013 10:23 am

maracho

Kirkland vs Mundine could be great!

Boxtradamus

NICE way to be honest. CORRECTAMUNDO told ME to tell YOU to help yourself to some Crow Mignon after taking Canelo over Floyd. But at least you’re MAN enough to admit the talent of Mayweather the GOAT.

Posted December 11, 2013 3:57 am

I see Good

Its TIME to put KIRKLAND in with some one like GGG Canelo Chavez. Then that will be the END of KIRKLAND. But I must admit watching KIRKLAND is exciting I must admitt. The GUY has GUTS, PROBABLY the MOST condition athlete in BOXING. But NO TALENT. Does any one remember BABY JOE MESI??? I rest my case. Kirkland will end up like poor JOE. Great record at fighting NOBODIES, just like WILDER. I dont like MAYWEATHER but THE MAN HAS TALENT.

Farmboxer

There was talk of Golovkin fighting Kirkland, Golovkin would knock Kirkland out cold. Golovkin knocked Ishida through the ropes and out cold, while Ishida knocked Kirkland out in the very first round. IF Kirkland were to get out of the first round with Golovkin, which I doubt, Golovkin would continue beating the crap out of Kirkland the rest of the fight, which would not be long. Kirkland is wide open for a skilled boxer such as Golovkin.

What’s up with this misleading title.

James Kirkland better look for another promoter if he knows what’s good for him.
That 50 Cent guy reminds me of a certain Don King…

Don’t take any notice of the last post by my fake using my screen name. He is ignorant and has no boxing knowledge. I stand by what I said.

50 cent is a joke in boxing. he is only good at stealing Floyd’s hoe’s and ratting out people

Posted December 10, 2013 7:27 pm

Fight Aficionado

“50 cent is buggin out, putting him in a fight that quickly after that bar room brawl.” – Cosign B Red. 50 Cent’s only title holder Dibbs lost his title months ago and got KTFO in the rematch. So he’s trying to put Kirkland on the fast track to accelerate his paydays and his position back into contention. Problem is if your fighter doesn’t get rest he can become vulnerable to an off night. If that happens put a fork in 50′s career as a promoter.

Jay-Roc

Read the article, guys. Or rather the promotional commercial. Kirkland ain’t fighting on this card. 50c is just using his name and the hype from Kirkland-Tapia to draw attention to this upcoming show featuring younger prospects. Maybe 50c will fly Kirkland and Ann Wolfe to NYC to be ringside for the fight but that’s about as close as the Mandingo Warrior is getting to the ring on December 20th.

B Red

50 cent is buggin out, putting him in a fight that quickly after that bar room brawl. 50 comes from the school of hard knocks and has a very high work ethic, but his strategy is stupid putting him in the ring that quickly, unless he fights a cab driver

I hope that goofball in the red baseball cap, thats part of Kirkland s team isnt bouncing around like a crackhead and doing everything possible to get on tv isnt in kirklands post fight interview trying to steel the show from kirkland s interview and victory next time around. Very annoying trying to watch and listen to the interview with a brain dead crackhead bouncing around.

Posted December 10, 2013 5:07 pm

PEEJ

Don’t listen to what the identity thief is posting. I said if Kirkland made it out of the first round then I think the fight would be pretty good with GGG winning by KO later on. But the ignorant person that uses my name to post is well just ignorant. Now with that being said is Kirkland ready to fight again so soon. I know he was swelled up a bit.

Posted December 10, 2013 4:12 pm

Fight Aficionado

Two fights in two weeks? He’d better hope Kirkland doesn’t fizzle out. He’s a fun fighter to watch but you never know given his uneven performances.

Unbeatable after the first round? Carlos Molina and his BS DQ loss says hi.

I agree with Slim, Missing “From” in title…makes it seem like Kirkland is fighting on the 20th

Should there be a word in the article’s title, like 50 Cent moves FROM Kirkland to this other 12/20 show? Doesn’t appear from reading that Kirkland is going to be part of the 12/20 card which let’s face it would be kind of crazy/1930s-40s.

Kirkland is awesome. If he gets out of the 1st round he is unbeatable. History has proved this over and over.
