I see a Paquiao/Rios type fight herePosted December 12, 2013 8:57 pm
Broner is Floyd but with Balls and with easy going personality and without a sad face.Posted December 12, 2013 7:41 pm
” always say, always look at things rationally not emotionally because you become blinded by your emotions.”
I have no emotions for Broner or MaidanaPosted December 12, 2013 7:18 pm
Wow! I’m amazed that some of you think Maidana will be any kind of challenge for Adrien Broner. This fight won’t be close. A boxing exhibition is what Broner is going to put on. I always say, always look at things rationally not emotionally because you become blinded by your emotions. Broner is the better boxer, has faster hands, more athletic, agile, younger, better chin, defense and Maidana has the perfect style for Broner to shine. trust me on this. Broner beats him up or 12 rounds and wins a UD or more than likely, he stops him. I’m leaning towards the latter. Maidana has no chance.Posted December 12, 2013 4:37 pm
Even Harold Lederman said he was “disappointed” at the way Alexander was fighting. Lederman said, “Devon Alexander lands a shot and he grabs. That’s not right…over and over again. Now, if you’re the referee ya gotta say, ‘ya gotta stop holding…four or five times you take a point…”
Not to mention the fact that Steve Smoger was the ref for that fight and he’s one of the most biased refs around. The guy always has a favorite in a fight and he judges accordingly.
Maidana got ripped off. Alexander got a gift in that fight.Posted December 12, 2013 3:55 pm
“They say he hasn’t been tested. Yet he almost lost to Malignaggi. If that was a performance to showcase his skills then he isn’t even close to the Top 10 at 147lb. All hype, gob, attitude and no substance. His balloon will get busted very soon.”
It wasn’t Malignaggi’s light hitting that caused him to lose that fight. It was his reluctance to swing at Broner’s head. If he would have thrown more punches at Broner’s head he would have won the fight. Body punches, unless they are telling blows and mixed well with other punches, do not generally get as much recognition by the judges as head punches.
Paulie concentrated on Broner’s body so much, his work just did not get the recognition it deserved. Besides that, if ye would have used his jab more and used it more effectively, Broner would not have been so eager to “walk through” his punches. What worked on Judah would have worked on Broner, although probably not as well, but sufficiently enough.Posted December 12, 2013 2:36 pm
I actually think Broner will get his hands full in this one ,all it takes is 1 good shot and Maidana can hit. Iam not overall impressed wiyh Broner yetat all…..This will be goodPosted December 12, 2013 2:30 pm

Maidana has trimmed an inch or two off the arc of his overhand right. resulting in deceptive quickness of an otherwise telegraphed punch. Garcia has fine-tuned some of Maidana’s fundamentals, which has resulted in improved overall skills but Maidana remains a crude and unrelenting slugger with an indomitable will and chin and not without a dastardly streak when it comes to breaks or hitting after the bell. execution will be the key for Broner since there’s nothing complicated to figure out about Maidana’s fight-profile. what we’ve seen is what we’ll get. Broner either exploits Maidana’s predictable mistakes or gets wrecked trying, which i will enjoy watching.Posted December 12, 2013 11:55 am
Broner — Mayweather 2.0!!!!!
Broner best not be asleep on Saturday. If he starts showboating and playing to the crowd he could end up looking foolish as Maidana is a power puncher.
Khan crushed Maidana with a double body knock down early on and yet Maidana would not stop looking for a KO.
Maidana is dangerous when he is in trouble and that could be TROUBLE for Broner.Posted December 12, 2013 9:44 am
test broner for aids. broner will be broke in 10 years with 12 kids from 12 baby mommaPosted December 12, 2013 9:34 am
I expect Maidana to full test Broner and I expect Broner to win another close decision.Posted December 12, 2013 8:13 am

Broner hasnt really been tested but he will get it at 147. The boy Thurman looks good and they are bringung him around on the under cards to build him up the same way they did Alverez before Floyd whopped him. I really want to see Tim Bradley or Danny Garcia fight Broner before we can say he is the air to the throne of FLOYD. The jury is still out on Broner. he hasnt fought anybodyPosted December 12, 2013 5:10 am
I’m not very excited about this fight because Maidana is taylor made for Broner.b There are so many great fights thatBroner could be a part of, I’m looking past this to see if he steps up to the plate and fight a real challenge (and there’s a lot of them at 147). Not only do I believe there are a lot of challenges for Broner, but I also believe there are quite a few at 147 that will beat him if he steps up to the plate and fight them.A few that come to mind are Bradley, Pac, Alexander, along with some pick em’ fights with Porter, Garcia, Khan, Provodnikov, Thurman. Broner may be a little turd, but he is a great talent that I’m interested in seeing how good he will really prove to be. He has built a career off of beating smaller guys, but he was very impressive in doing so. Nevertheless, I believe the buck stops here at 147 if he faces a few of the guys on my aforementioned list.Posted December 12, 2013 5:00 am
This time next year Broner will be a heavyweight lardass.Posted December 12, 2013 3:03 am
