Texas Hold em

I saw a very determined man in Thurman, straight up, hard hitter and good boxer. Some below said he has a 2nd grade mind level. that is so ignorant to say, I have watched his interviews, and as a matter a fact, Thurman is very intelligent. He is very articulate and kicks a good ass in the ring. It sounds as though the person making the 2nd grade comment is the true ignorant one, speaks from the backside,, without facts. GOOD JOB Thurman! godspeed to all fighters

how about berto Karrass two?How about Kirkland Thurmon.

Keith Thurman has the IQ of a 2nd grader. He doesn’t know the correct name of his own promotion company.

How ridiculous is it to have someone fight for the “Interim” WBA belt when the WBA beltholder is fighting on the same card. What “interim” period is he filling?

Posted December 16, 2013 9:52 am

TARK

Thurman was the best fighter on the card. I would like to see him take on Porter, Maidana, Malignaggi, Bradley, or Brook.

big head

well if broner move down to 140 it aint to many big fights down there for him unless him and matthysse fight which i doubt that happen especially what maidana did to him i doubt if they put broner in there with another big puncher in his next fight whenever he do come back

Kell Brook would put Broner to sleep also, he’d be better off at 140

Fight Aficionado

Thurman’s one of a handful of great KO artists today along with Matthysse, GGG, Stevens and Kovalev. It’s a good time for boxing. Of these guys Thurman’s faced the thinnest comp and it’s time to lift his level. Always respected Soto Karass but he’s more of a high level gatekeeper than world class.

Soto Karras would have gave broener a beating, give Thurman credit for good lateral movement. Broener is to lazy to move when he is getting beat down

I guess Floyd should fight lists of their last fights like PAC did when he fought a 140 lb Rios who lost his last fight to Alvarado, or who fought Margarito when he just got pummeled by Sugar Shane. Floyd just fought the 154 lb champion and interim WBC welterweight champ Guerrero. Learn your facts PTS

Karass is a tough bastard,Thurman had to hit him with everything he had! It took about 3 clean punches just to floor Karass in the 9th. Good solid win for Thurman

Broner Thumon.I would want it and so would these two.

I think he would have knocked out broner last night too

I couldn’t agree more however, this serves as a reminder that Floyd is taking his legions of fans to the cleaners by not being a real fighter who fights anyone, but instead wants to be rewarded huge money for giving little effort as if that was what boxing fans were interested in paying for.

Cole is an unusual ref who aside from being attitudinal one has to wonder what exactly he accomplished by giving so many warnings to Broner but not following through deducting any points from him. Ironically instead, he penalizes Maidana for a situation Broner initiated and had been doing through out the fight. This Cole guy will efinitely be remembered as an inept and biased referee who has lost any credibility and integrity he may have had……for whatever it was worth.

he doesnt need too inify at this point, its all about that payroll!!!!!

Easy question for Floyd fanatics, which of the following would Floyd prefer to face: 1.Pac, 2. Thurman 3.Porter 4.Bradley or 5. khan? Hint, he has no title and does not fight in the 147lb division. I know, I know….easy question, right? How about, why does Floyd ignore current title holders and not unify the divisioni? Hint: It’s not about legacy.

Thurman should set his sights on Shawn Porter’s belt. A fight w/ Mattheysse would be a helluva fight too.

keith thurman is the real deal. time for the BIG fights.

Great win for Thurman, well deserved for a crowd pleasing fighter . with his talent he should be pleasing us for a long time

TARK

This is why boxers like Lara and Pacquiao will be tough on Floyd… This is why attackers like Matthysse and Garcia would be tough on Floyd.. The cross-armed defense works perfectly well against boxers and jabbers.. It fails against great attackers and big punching, right hooking southpaws like Lara and Pacquiao.

I’m not talking about Victor Ortiz come on… Josesito Lopez stopped him.

Thuman has a good future in the sport. No big surprise however.

BOXTRA, Lately PUBLIC ENEMY has been yo’ daddy!! He picked Maidana since DAY ONE. While you HUGGED and PRAISED & PICKED Broner’s “skills”, I said that Maidana was no Malignaggi or Ponce DeLeon. I suggest you go get yourself some ‘help’, maybe a switch to WWE will do you some good.

LAURENCE COLE = idiot ref and borderline cheat on behalf of ADRIEN BRONER, who persistently fouled in almost every round and punched after the bell.

EL CHINO showed Broner up to be not as good as he thinks and out jabbed Broner with ease!
MAIDANA the winner for me!

Also, the American TV judges are blind as hell!

Feels good to pick the fights correctly. Broner better than Floyd. What a joke

Won’t be able to see the fight till tomorrow but what I have been reading looks like my pick of Maidana is correct and Hecdog needs to get his eyes checked for saying Broner is better than Floyd

what a surprise, an American ref siding with an American boxer. LOL

Posted December 15, 2013 12:02 am

Yep, this ref is a disgrace he’s siding with Broner!

Posted December 14, 2013 11:59 pm

Broner has bought the ref! Long count when he got knocked down. Typical, refs always cheat in favour of the superstar, Smoger did the same in the Hopkins fight, Smoger was a disgrace to boxing, and the same happened against Groves in the Froch fight. Refs are corrupt.

Broner is a homo thug . About to be broke

Canelo prob a lil too big for thurman. But thurman may have a hard time getting fights. He can punch and box. Good chin. Defense needs a lil work. Other than floyd cant see anyone beating him. Dont think broner wants any of thurman!

Posted December 14, 2013 11:44 pm

Mr common sense

Time for Thurman to step up his competition. I would like to see a canelo vs Thurman fight. Both guys can punch and both have underrated defensive and boxing ability.
