Boxing is weak today??? … If you believe that you also believe there were no Olympic or World Records set in the last Olympics—and athletes are getting smaller and weaker all the time. Boxing is so weak that it set new world revenue records for the 8th year in a row. 2013 was the best year yet.
A huge slice of the world is gearing up professional boxing that outlawed pro boxing until the 1990’s. That portion of the world has already produced the world’s best heavyweight, the world’s best light heavyweight, and the world’s best middleweight. You also have Lomachenko turning pro recently and it’s not going to end.
So get used to it Americans.Posted December 22, 2013 4:27 pm

Chisora is a tough guy who can be reached by a good boxer. He fought the wrong guy. A guy who could box his ass off and punch his lights out all at the same time. Ali weighed 210 and had good speed, but never had Haye’s power or all-around skills.
It took a puncher like Foreman to put smash Frazier like the punch bag he was.Posted December 21, 2013 7:58 pm

And these guys are not body builders…
Wladimir barely got hit with a solid punch in his last 3 fights.. He’s becoming a defensive master.. Adamek was 44-1 when he faced Vitali—and Juan Carlos Gomez was also 44-1 when he faced Vitali
Both had been world champions and were younger than Vitali, but neither could win a round off Vitali and barely landed an effective glove on a 38 year old and a 40-year-old.
Haye did a great job of boxing and punching versus Chisora… Nobody else put Chisora out. That was master class.
Tyson Fury beat Kevin Johnson every round… He didn’t let him do a thing… and he stopped USS Cunningham who doesn’t get stopped.
Pulev doesn’t lose a whole lot of rounds either. Jennings, Stiverne, and Wilder are pretty fair boxers… They just haven’t been tested yet.
I don’t know if you’ve had 8 or 10 good boxers in the heavyweight division before… I looked back about 115 years and I just haven’t seen it.Posted December 21, 2013 6:17 pm

Lewis didn’t “dig deep” He cheated…
Lewis lost the first 2 rounds by wide margins… If he lost the 3rd round that would have put him in a horrible position against a man who had never been behind on points… He would have had to win 7 of the last 9 rounds against a very good boxer.. He was desperate.. Desperate people do desperate things.. He started fouling like crazy.
Lewis never stopped anybody else on cuts… Vitali was never stopped on cuts in 210 amateur and 47 pro fights … except the Lewis fight. If you look at the line of the 2 slashes on Vitali’s eye and the massive one on his cheek they are not swollen but deep and jagged… they are all ripped open in the same direction that Lewis slashed Vitali face with the palm of his glove … while he held Vitali in a headlock with his left arm early in the 3rd round.Posted December 21, 2013 4:32 pm

So Lewis wasn’t taking him lightly… He trained his ass off and I didn’t see an ounce of excess on him.. He was just big and stronger than ever. He weighed 227 for Razor Ruddock and kept getting bigger and stronger until he faced Vitali…
As it was… Vitali was winning the fight on ALL SCORECARDS when it was stopped due to cuts caused by illegal blows… The fight should have gone to the scorecards like Ward vs Kessler… Kessler was cut with illegal contact as well … but they followed the rule in that fight.Posted December 21, 2013 4:18 pm

I saw the lacing as the fight happened in real time, not on a replay or a youtube. I immediately knew Vitali, with his back to the ropes, was palmed (old terms were LACED). An upward thrusting palm strike to Vitali’s eye ripping the cut open. I knew at that time he was LACED. Lewis did what he had to do to win knowing he was loosing. Moret blew it, and he should have called it when it happened, and to this day he will have to live with his intended oversight. I hope he does not sleep at night from time to time with the horror of Vitali’s eye ball hanging loose from the socket. But, in the end look what happened, Vitali Klitschko is WBC Heavy Weight Champion of the World!! And he did not have to go to the judges cards to get that belt. In the end, Vitali is the Winner.Posted December 21, 2013 1:08 pm
Once more… A fight goes to the scorecards when anything other than a legal punch contributes to cuts that cause a stoppage… Even if they’re accidental contact.
The Ward-Kessler fight wasn’t a KO. It was a technical decision that went to the cards because Kessler was cut with accidental illegal contact.
Lewis’s was deliberate.. Ward’s was accidental.. Same result.. Go to the scorecards.Posted December 21, 2013 12:39 pm
Sredmond… You do more yakking than anyone. I deal with facts. You deal with fantasy.
Fact: Lewis is a known fouler and holder and hitter… When Robert Guerrero was fouling Andre Berto with impunity — with the same referee letting him get away with murder who let Lewis foul Klitschko — Max Kellerman shouted, “SHADES OF LENNOX LEWIS” to the knowing laughs of the HBO crew.
The video evidence for Lewis’s fouling is as clear as day and Kellerman knows he’s a serial hold-and-hit guy.Posted December 21, 2013 12:34 pm

TARK… “Yak Yak, Yak”Posted December 21, 2013 7:47 am
Everyone saw the holding and hitting by Lewis in the 3rd round. The video record is extremely clear.. Lampley commented about Lewis’s roughhouse tactics right after Lewis held and hit in the 3rd round.. That’s when Vitali’s face gushed blood from the cuts.. The major damage was done right there.
The video shows Lewis holding and hitting—and the 3 cuts had the characteristics of being a palm slash, not cuts from a legal blow.
Lewis also rubbed the palm of his glove right in Vitali’s face.. It was so flagrant Moret briefly held up the palm of his hand to warn Lewis, which Lewis coldly ignored — because he knew he had Moret in his pocket.
After the bell sounded ending round 6, Lewis threw a very late left hook at Vitali’s chin—with no warning from the referee… LL apparently knew Moret would do and say nothing.
Bears came on with that video 3 or 4 years ago. That’s when I took another look at the fight.. I knew Lewis fouled a lot, and it wasn’t the 1st fight he flagrantly fouled an opponent—but when you see it in slow motion, watch Moret’s lack of response, and the flagrancy of Lewis’s fouling, you realize just how intentional and blatant it was. Any other referee would have ordered the fight go to the scorecards … and Vitali wins UNANIMOUSLY.Posted December 21, 2013 3:57 am
SREDNOND, no sir. I put it to you that Lewis was fortunate to cut Vitali so badly. LL took Vitali lightly, was getting an ass-whupping and didn’t want any more in a rematch. Klitschko would have finished hin for good in 2004. Good day to you, Mr Redmond sir! :)

Lol at Tark..Twice..
TARK… “”Foreman even said, “The referee has to stop this holding and hitting by Lewis.” TARK… “You have no answer to Foreman and Kellerman’s response to Lewis’s fouling.”
Round 5, both fighter have a hand around the back of each others head and a free hand, Lewis punching Vitali to the ribs, Vitali holding Lewis by the back of the head and doing nothing. Jim Lampley describes it as ” Good professional work from Lewis.” then Vitali hits Lewis with an uppercut while still holding Lewis by the back of the head, they tie each other up and the ref separates them.. Foreman says. ” I cant believe the ref is letting this holding and hitting go on.” Larry Merchant replies “”one hand is open and you are allowed to do that George.” Foreman then says, “you cant hold and hit, if one fighter is holding your gonna have to break it.”… Just go on youtube and watch the round..
Thing here though is. BOTH fighters were holding each other the entire time, and BOTH hit each other while doing so… At no point did Foreman say “The referee has to stop this holding and hitting by Lewis” as you said he did… Again.. Just go on youtube and watch the round..
Even had Foreman said “The referee has to stop this holding and hitting by Lewis” It would be the only comment during the entire live HBO broadcast you can quote that suggested that Lewis was cheating in any way at all.. Also, ironically, none of the punches that Lewis landed on Vitali in this part of the fight hit Vitali in the eye.Posted December 20, 2013 6:42 pm

I read a bunch of them and mostly agreed with them—but this is the sorry state of Boxing today. A lot of biased referees letting fouls by their favored fighter go without appropriate warnings and point deductions. However, there’s a point where the flagrancy of the fouling is a bit much … and tantamount to robbery.
I had to finally admit, this happened in Lewis-Klitschko.
Not only the viewing audience but the HBO crew, and in particular George Foreman complained about Lewis’s fouling. Foreman even said, “The referee has to stop this holding and hitting by Lewis.” When Robert Guerrero was flagrantly holding and hitting Andre Berto—also with Lou Moret officiating—Max Kellerman shouted, “Shades of Lennox Lewis” to the laughter of the HBO crew.

Tea Party members???
I’m a long time Democrat and huge supporter of President Obama. You attribute right wing political affiliations to people who support Vitali or any other European boxer. This shows how stupid you are.
A close examination of the video record clearly shows the initial blow that caused the 1st cut to Vitali’s left eye in the 3rd round. It was an illegal thumb strike with Lewis’s right glove… A close examination of the video record shows that shortly after that initial nick opened Lewis grabbed Vitali in a head lock and raked him with the palm of his right glove—which is holding and hitting—and patently illegal even if he hit Vitali with a legal surface of the glove. This flagrant act slashed another cut on the eyelid and worsening the 1st cut. The video record also shows Lewis working his head and hair into the wounds, and Vitali emerged with a deep slashes on his left eyelid and cheek.
Not only the viewing audience but the HBO crew, and in particular George Foreman complained about Lewis’s fouling. Foreman said the referee should stop it. When Robert Guerrero was holding and hitting Andre Berto—also with Lou Moret officiating—Max Kellerman shouted, “Shades of Lennox Lewis” to the laughter of the HBO crew.

Our own eyes are USESLESS in the World that Tark and Bears inhabit !! In this special World where you will also find the Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, Dorothy and Toto, Lennox Lewis all 6″5 of him tied down the 6″8 Klitschko and proceeded to use a surgical grade scalpel to open 5 distinct wounds on the the arm punching Vitali….. When we all awoke from our mass hypnosis Lewis had freed Vitali now bleeding like a virgins gash after Wesley Pipes hit the the skins and started feigning as if he had inflicted those wounds in the manner or worthless eyes told us he did….Thanks for helping us with that Tark! FACT is that Klit fans can feel how hollow Vitalis resume is and the reality of the END is now here and he is a guy who has the NUMBERS but not the quality as it pertains to his resume..Lewis is walking around with GRAY locks and Vitali’s fans are still trying to LEECH credit from his loss to Lennox TRULY a sad state of affairs… Instead of trying to edify his BEST victory (Sam Peter ugggghhhhh!!!) There is a ton of fouling in a lot of fights that referees miss all the time… You just accept bad calls as part of the game. Referees make huge mistakes like everyone else — and you live with it.
But I’m open-minded… Vitali did the better job of boxing. When Bears posted the video it reinforced the fact that all the cuts were caused by foul blows—and I studied the fight and Moret’s behavior in depth.. Moret had a clear view of a lot of the fouling and he did nothing… Vitali was robbed blind and there’s no getting around it… Sometimes you’re wrong about something and just have to change your mind about it. When presented with incontrovertible evidence for the umpteenth time you change your opinion.
I’m not locked in concrete… If you can show me I’m wrong I’ll change my mind.Posted December 19, 2013 4:28 pm

In a fight that you had Lewis winning prior, with no mention of Moret from yourself in YEARS of you talking about the fight on ESB? . Yup, lol sure… Lol at Tark….Posted December 19, 2013 3:54 pm

The only reason Americans say the Heavyweight division is no good is because no Americans have been competitive challengers for the last 10 years… It like the fox who couldn’t reach the grapes… He finally gave up and said the grapes were probably sour anyway.
Arreola took care of highly hyped Seth Mitchell in a flash… but couldn’t reach a 38-year-old Vitali with a threatening punch — while losing every round by a wide margin.Posted December 19, 2013 3:33 pm
The best heavyweight from ’86 to ’96 was Lewis..
But Bowe, Tyson, and Evander ALL ducked Lewis until they were almost forced to fight him.. Tyson paid Lewis 4-million step-aside money so he could put-off their meeting. Danny Williams easily stopped Tyson, but was no match for Vitali… Bowe, Tyson, and Holyfield all refused to fight the K Bros.
Lewis trained for a Heavyweight Championship fight for months before his fight with Vitali Klitschko. He was in perfect condition and averaged over 250 for his last 5 or 6 fights. He was solid as a rock.
Klitschko trained for less than 2 weeks for a Heavyweight Championship fight with Lewis … Despite that, Vitali was beating Lewis on ALL SCORECARDS through six rounds. The fight should have gone to the scorecards because the cuts were caused by illegal blows. Vitali won the fight, and would have won officially with any ref but Moret.
Holyfield lost every round to Larry Donald, who never got stopped by anyone — except Vitali Klitschko. So don’t tell me VK wasn’t competitive with 90′s heavyweights — VK went 27-0 in the decade. Wladimir was the first man to floor Ray Mercer with a head punch. Mercer could land only 5 power punches in 6 rounds.. That was years before Wladimir perfected his defensive skills under Steward — and WK was still rated the top contender for Lewis at the time he beat Mercer. Tyson and Holyfield refused to fight him.Posted December 19, 2013 3:25 pm
“Why can’t we just admit that European heavyweights have ruled the roost?” – We can because those are the facts. Some disgruntled fellow Americans try to piss on that, but facts are facts. The only US heavyweight to hold a belt over the past decade is Shannon Briggs. Everyone else is European. Any other claims are delusional.Posted December 19, 2013 3:17 pm

It is only natural , that whenever there is controversy , there is bound to be a difference of opinion . Among intelligent , civilized people , this can lead to diverse exchanges of opinions , with all sides benefitting from this phenomenon . Even considering the fact , that boxing is not exactly persued primarily by intellectuals , the level of illiteracy , envy , distortion and just insane pure hatred , is astounding . Constant accusations of ; boring , cherry picking , fighting only ” short , fat fighters ” , by people who consider themselves experts , lose a lot of credibility , when these ” experts ” find it

Bones – Intresting…… It does stand to reason, that there would be points in time, where the advancments in PED quality was at a very high point versus the detection methods. The PEDS of the 90s must have been MUCH better then the PEDS of the 70s, but comperable detection methods and enforcement, had not yet caught up. The quantity and quality of the juice in fighters in different erras ebbs and flows with changes in technology and detection. Its possible that the 90s were THE most and highest quality juiced fighters and least governed. Yeah, def food for thought.Posted December 19, 2013 11:57 am

Folk conveniently forget that those 90s heavyweights weren’t just pumped full of PEDs, they were pumped full of more of them than the winner’s rostrum of Mr. Olympia. The drug testing over in the States back then was to all intents and purposes nonexistent and fighters were jacking themselves full of super size doses of of PEDs left, right, and centre. What is the article author talking about? Wladimir Klitschko is already the unified and undisputed heavyweight champion oi the world and have been that sence 2011 and champ sence 2006. He holds the Ring title, WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO world titles, thats all belts just exept the WBC title but do he need that to be undisputed champ? Now of course not as his brother had the belt during this time. Lennox Lewis, as much as I love him as the boxer he was he was the undisputed champ BUT he did not have the WBO title of the 4 major titles BUT he was still the undisputed champ. This is nothing new to punblic.
BUT the WBC belt should be in Wladimir Klitschko’s hands in time as he is the unifed and undisputed heavyweight champion of the world already and all otrher fikghters holding the WBC title would JUST be a PAPER champion.Posted December 19, 2013 9:23 am

Let’s be honest if Vitali vacates, Wladimir is now ‘undisputed’ champion, WBC or no WBC, as there’s nobody out there proven to be on his level.
I don’t rate the ‘Ring’ title that much higher than the others – as isn’t it owned by De La Hoyas ‘Golden Boy Promotions’ these days? Hmmmm not much chance for manipulation there then lol.
Lewis didn’t hold all of the “big four” belts, but was still ‘undisputed’ in my eyes as he held most of the belts, took on all comers and was clearly the best fighter of his time. If Vitali has vacated his title, then Wladimir now becomes undisputed champ by default in my eyes, as he holds most of the belts and the only person who could have claimed to be near his level is Vitali.
Of course we still have this illegitimate child of a belt the WBA ‘regular’ world title floating around.Posted December 19, 2013 7:13 am

“86 to 96 was one the best Golden ages of boxing” wow Tach, I thought you could use at least one side of the brain. If you want to have this “Golden Era” of boxing back then US must close all borders let only UK and mexican fighters to participate and ban all third-world fighters.
Dude seriously, WAKE UP, this was the time of Cold War, only after 1991 when Soviet Union collapsed and independent countries such as Cuba, Russia, Ukraine, etc started to pick up wealth to send their fighters out all out of suddenly your “Golden Era” ends just around mid 1990s we started to see Cuban and ex-Soviet fighters coming along. See some logic there? Before it was old Werstern-World boxing championships, now it’s The REAL WORLD Championship (still minus China though – just wait till they come along and be surprised!). The comp is more firece than ever compared to “then” or the equivalent of “Golden Era” you describe. Just because the new lions cleaned or ate out the old ones YOU happen to know doesn’t mean there’s no more golden era for others who happen to know the new lions. Life goes on – either deal with it or stop watching boxing as a sport.Posted December 19, 2013 6:26 am

@Tark 86 through 96 crop of fighters would have only used klits as sparring partners. Vitali who is a better boxer than Wlad was whupped up no by a old fat 1 year laid off Lewis. An old fat Sanders Koed Wlad and a tired old out of shape Brewster Koed Wlad again. Klits are good with the pathetic crop of heavies today and even some of the worst of them knocked him out. Old Ali was stopped never knocked out in his career. Klits are shadows of the past 86 to 96 was one the best Golden ages of boxing and no kilt was anywhere to be found. Once the true giants of heavy weight boxing retired then the Klits came scurrying out of the cracks of the boxing walls after it was all safe and no competition was available.Posted December 19, 2013 3:43 am

@ TARK: As for the Ali fights, Ali was well past his prime when he fought Spinks. The 1966-1967 version would have boxed circles around Norton, Frazier, and of course the slow Wladimir Klitschko, who is just the best of the heavyweight bunch these days. :-DPosted December 19, 2013 2:50 am
@ TARK: In Foreman’s last seven fights he scored TWO KO’s not one- the Moorer KO of course and a KO over Pierre Coetzer, a man known for having a great chin. Bowe couldn’t legitimately knock Coetzer down, he hit him low to help score his knockdown and ultimately a stoppage, which was a foul-filled stoppage at that. Foreman dropped Coetzer twice and was well on his way to scoring another knockdown when the ref stopped it. ;-)Posted December 19, 2013 2:46 am
punch drunk says…, “comparing Ali to Wlad is like comparing a moose to a gazelle”
Wlad has a better ring record… Ali was beaten by a short, fat Frazier who weighed 205.. a China-chinned Norton who weighed 210… and a neophyte wtih 6 wins (Spinks) who weighed 197.
Ali’s fight with Alffredo Evangelista won the Nobel Peace Prize for promoting non-violence in Boxing… His fights with Mac Foster, Buster Mathis, Rudy Lubbers, and Jimmy Young were all-out stinkers.
Wladimir has more amateur and pro fights — and is a better defender and better puncher.. Ali was no gazelle versus Frazier, Norton, or Spinks.. He looked terrible whenever he fought somebody who could fight back.Posted December 19, 2013 2:45 am
BLUESMAN.., Foreman wasn’t KOing anyone… Only Moorer in his last 7 fights.. That was the only KO punch he landed in years… I don’t care what it did because Moorer was spaced out he was so bored. A middleweight could have knocked him out.
Tachyon…, None of those guys would even fight he Klitschkos… Danny Willimans KOed Tyson and was KOed by Vitali… Larry Donald waxed Holyfield … and Vitali was the only fighter who EVER stopped Donald.
The K Bros were murderous punchers and nobody wanted to face them.. It took Lennox Lewis many years to get Tyson, and Holyfield into a ring, and Bowe ducked Lewis altogether…even though Lewis was KO’d twice he couldn’t get guys to fight him.. Vitali was never even knocked down.. VK was scary.. Hide wasn’t a dangerous opponent but he destroyed the man who KO’d Morrison.. Hide was a legitimate Heavyweight champion and VK knocked him out in 2 with a straight left. He wasn’t even warmed up yet.Posted December 19, 2013 2:29 am

If Don King will allow Stiverne to fight again it will probably be against Arreola………………..If not, then Arreola will go ahead and knock Wilder out and become the first Mexican heavyweight champion………..Vitali has already TKO’d Arreola, highest rated fight of the year for HBO……. Vitali was my favorite heavyweight, but next to Vitali Vlad is the best. Vlad knocked Wilder down with a jab in sparring for the Wach fight, beat Wilder from one side of the ring to the other………..Does Widler have a hard right hand? How would anyone know, since he has never fought anyone even nearly ranked at all. How did Wilder get ranked #3 WBC without ever fighting anyone ranked?! Vlad will knock out Stiverne, Arreola and all the top ten fighters he needs to fight…………Vlad won the gold medal back in 1996, Atlanta, GA…………….superheavyweight division.Posted December 19, 2013 2:12 am
@ TARK: The punch that Foreman knocked Moorer out with split Moorer’s lip open and required 14 stitches to fix, so to say he wasn’t a puncher at that point in time is something I just can’t jive with man. I don’t think Foreman’s level of competition was very good at all in his comeback, and he definitely should’ve fought Bowe, Lewis, Mercer Ruddock etc. Tyson didn’t want to fight Foreman and accused Don King of trying to get him killed, as I understand it . If I’m wrong about that, please correct me there too. Personally, I think you just don’t like Foreman and like to downplay and trivialize his accomplishments because it makes you feel good and gives you power. @ TARK: No offense, but that’s just low and in bad taste to call someone a pathetic champion. It takes guts to just get in the ring to begin with. Saying that someone wasn’t all that great or something like that is one thing, but you honestly just seem to have a lot of hatred and anger in you. It seems like you call people derogatory names on the forums just about everyday. And I don’t mean that in a mean or spiteful way at all towards you, but c’mon man. Now if I’m wrong, please feel free to correct me, but please be nice and show some respect.Posted December 19, 2013 1:45 am
BTW.., Morrison beat Foreman.. Foreman wasn’t a puncher anymore when he won his 2nd title.. George knocked out only one (1) opponent in his last 7 fights — and he wasn’t fighting anybody who was any good.. George wasn’t fighting the Tysons, Mercers, McCalls, Bowes, or Lewises … He was fighting the Grimsleys, Schulzes, and Savereses.
The KO came when Moorer was way ahead on points and got super careless.Posted December 19, 2013 1:42 am

He fought many of the worst bums in boxings history and he lost several times too. Boring are the klits? Look at Ali holding his face covered and letting others punch out on rope a dope. Klits came in at the tail end of a great boxing era. They came in when all the great champs and opponents were old and retired or retiring. Wlad was afraid of Brewster until he got old fat and his eye was damaged then he wanted to fight him. 90 error heavy boxers would have destroyed both klits leaving them as sparring partners for other fighters.Posted December 18, 2013 7:28 pm
For BOTH sides of this argument, its really SIMPLE…. the fight was a wash, pure plain and simple. The fight was INCONCLUSIVE! The better ffighter wss not determined that night. LL got a weak win, but tarnished his legacy. VK gained a lot of fans from that fight, and the Klitschkos went on to FLAT DOMINATE the HWs for the NEXT Decade, and that further made LL look bad for not establishing HIS dominance over TWO eras……..All he had to do was fight ONE more fight, and TRULY BEAT VK, and if he did, the Klitschkos would be his bit ches to THIS DAY! Eric, again, like others on this site, you spout nonsense,to say Wlad has fought everybody is a LIE.He has not fought a large list of potential opponents.I’m not saying he avoided them, asides from Sanders, who he asked his brother to fight for him, instead of rematching him,but in each era, most fighters avoid certain opponents, whether for financial reasons or simply from fear of losing. So don’t say wlad fought everyone available, because he didn’t,nor did vitali, nor did Lewis,Tyson etc….Posted December 18, 2013 7:00 pm

Pyles-putting Vitali at number 1 shows you really haven’t watched any boxing at all…Lennox already beat vitali’s ass,and lennox is the only decent opponent Vitali ever faced….Vitali is in reality ramked somewhere around number 30….very weak resume….unless you think Sam Peter and Chisora are elite opponents…lol….get a grip…Vitali QUIT vs little Byrd…..Posted December 18, 2013 6:54 pm

I hope Wlad does it :)Posted December 18, 2013 6:51 pm
Mo-Pox:what great HW’s has Wlad beat? NONE.His record is padded far more than Lewis’s,but not as much as vitali’s,which is weaker than than Wilder’s legs…Posted December 18, 2013 6:50 pm
10 best ever — 1 Vitali… 2 Holmes… 3 Lewis… 4 Wladimir… 5 Johnson… 6 Louis… 7 Holyfield… 8 Tyson… 9 Tunney… 10 AliPosted December 18, 2013 6:48 pm

Mo-Box I don’t like Wlad in the ring because he is a boring boxer. outside the ring he and his brother are both outstanding and show pride to the sport. Just because you dislike a person does not make you a racist. I don’t like Broner either.Posted December 18, 2013 6:12 pm
thanks for the advice you stupid bumPosted December 18, 2013 6:10 pm
Oh god what next? Ur racist against racists…..c’mon now children. Klitchko clearly rules the heavyweights and will b undisputed champ…..I cant c y every 1 is hating on Wilder? Hes roar abd young yes…..Hes done all he has 2 so far. Hes far from the finished product, lot of upside 2 Wilder. Time will tell if hes legit or not.Posted December 18, 2013 5:34 pm
Wlad nor Vitali will be going down as the greatest of all time. They are great fighters but not the greatest.Posted December 18, 2013 5:31 pm

commie vitali is doing a commie takeover and younger klitco is at the protest taking selfies and his lil Hollywood hooker is giving speeches to the Ukrainian people saying we love Ukraine. then they jet out of there to Hollywood laughing at the suckers.Posted December 18, 2013 4:47 pm
wilder couldn’t knock out a woman at the casino. klitcos suck but they will kill that man and obama will be on the TV saying if i had a son it would look like wilder. and racism will be out of hand againPosted December 18, 2013 4:45 pm
wilders the biggest bum in the junglePosted December 18, 2013 4:44 pm
so one can guess he will not be defending his IBF beltPosted December 18, 2013 4:43 pm
You got that right. They’ll just be keeping that belt warm for wladamir. It will be like taking candy from a kid. Wladamir will go down as the GOAT . Greatest of all time . It’s too bad Lennox refused to fight him or wladamir could of had his defining win. Sure wladamir had a few bad nights but he is a long way from that fighter today.Posted December 18, 2013 4:42 pm
If Vlad the Impaler meets Deontay wilder, it will be goodbye for the Klitschko family.Posted December 18, 2013 4:36 pm
Vladimir has dealt with big punchers before. Derrick Jefferson was a 6’6″ big puncher. Jefferson tried to take Klitschko out with one punch and was knocked out cold with one punch when Vladimir’s punch reached his chin first. Klitschko has fought so long and faced the previous generation of up and coming fighters. There is nothing that he hasn’t seen before and KOed before. He can deal with any style.Posted December 18, 2013 4:35 pm
Poor Tach. He watched to much t.v. and believed movies like “Great white hype” to be reality. Now they are looking for a great African American hope that isnt there. I would guess Wlad would have to BUY the chance at the WBC. While certain fans would watch the new Ruiz and make him champion in their minds. Wlad will have to give up a TON of dough to get it. I see him frozen out by ducking and polotrics.Posted December 18, 2013 4:24 pm
Tachyon: spare your thuggish racist trash somewhere else. I expected Broner to win too, but Broner got beat fair and square, doesn’t matter if Maidana is a powerpuncher or not – Maidana was slow brawler as expected but Broner didn’t have the skill to keep his aggression at bay. Broner got beat for his own good, he’s young and he’ll hopefully learn from this. Keep his trashtalk at bay and dedicate his time more to training. As they say in oldschool: true champions are made through the experience of a bitter defeat.
As of Wlad’s potential ATG: I’m a big fan of already ATG Lewis but I cannot deny he got KTFOd ice cold by nobodies like mentally ill McCall or hasbeen Rahman. While Wlad never got KTFOd cold, in his losses (that were 10 years ago, btw!) he was still on his legs while Lewis was put to sleep.
The only credible opponent LL beat was Vitaly Klitschko, IMO. Beating a over the hill cruiserweight Holyfield, a midget sized fat Tua, or fat and old Tyson in hyped up fights doesn’t say much. Plus LL never fought a shouthpaw in his ENTIRE pro career consisting just 41 fights. He openly admitted ducking the southpaw Corrie Sanders at his peak. The list is full of bums like Grant, Botha, Golota etc. Tells you alot about his cherry picking. Even with losses included already in his 61th fight Wlad Klitschko resume rivals if not surpasses Lewis’es resume in overall weight – time of regn, dominance factor in each fight. All dominant champs are hated during their reign and criticized of beating bums and nobodies, only apreciated after they retire. If Wlad keeps going like this for couple of more years he may beat Louis’ record, hence Wlad definitely will be an ATG even if he get’s KTFOd his next fight or retires. He’s 37 with 60+ fights wear and tear – Wlad’s no spring chicken anymore.Posted December 18, 2013 4:24 pm
Tachyon, get over it. They are two of the best ever and you know it.Posted December 18, 2013 4:12 pm
eric Wlad was well guided through the boxing world fighting nobody’s and old men. Wlad should be in the Hall fame he is the only boxer to get knocked out by old men and make bums Champions. You guys complain about Broner at lest he fought a power punching Maidana. They found Brewster stacking crates brought him as a sacrificial lamb for Wlad and what happened LOL he knocked Wlads punk ass out and for the record Wlad is Chinese his real name is Wlad Eggchin.Posted December 18, 2013 3:47 pm
the commie brothers are about done. let them go away.Posted December 18, 2013 3:34 pm
“Fight Aff-the new champ could only duck so long before the mandatory and the WBC is pretty good to the KlitschKO’s.” – I’m not so sure. The governing bodies don’t make holders of other titles their mandatory contenders. WBCriminals should clarify their plans.Posted December 18, 2013 3:30 pm
UNDISPUTED that great word when boxing really was great.Posted December 18, 2013 3:08 pm
When Lennox was called the undisputed champion, he did not hold all the belts. As usual American and British sports writers try to rewrite history to keep the Klitschkos from claiming what is rightfully theirs. When Lennox fought Vitali he did not hold all the belts only WBC and IBF, but was called the undisputed champion. Lennox only had the WBA belt for 2 fights. The undisputed champion is Wladimir Klitschko right now. There is no other heavyweight champ. And if somebody else is awarded the WBC by committee they will only be a titlist until they fight Wladimir Klitschko.Posted December 18, 2013 3:02 pm
spot on.Posted December 18, 2013 3:02 pm
Klit error of boxing the most boring in history. Cherry picked fights and boring matches. Wlad quite man Ruiz Klitchko is the lamest heavy weight in history with his one punch hug strategy.Posted December 18, 2013 2:58 pm
Fight Aff-the new champ could only duck so long before the mandatory and the WBC is pretty good to the KlitschKO’s. I think they might expedite the process of Wlad getting that belt especially if they will make better money and no other heavyweight is making the kind of money wlad isPosted December 18, 2013 2:56 pm
Damn right he will hold all the titles soon james slater!
Let me begin by saying HAIL TO THE KINGS!!! THE HEAVYWEIGHT KINGS!!!! THE KLITSCHKOS!!!
Hail to Vitaly and his GOAT career and records and accolades especially his Stoppage % and his plus/minus ratio!!!! Never given a standing 8, never dropped, NEVER EVEN FELT WHAT IT WAS LIKE TO BE LOOSING A FIGHT and only ever lost on injury or foul/injury. The later a fight against Lewis that should have seen the bout go to the cards because of a foul or a DQ on lewis or point deduction. Either way the great Vitaly devoured Lennox’s legacy that night and sent him into retirement to the roaring sound of boo’s and his manager emanuel steward telling him he had to rematch vitaly, it wasnt right.
It will always be a treat to go back and watch the machine the terminator that is vitaly klitschKO!!! What an awesome boxer and good man and what a treat it has to be able to watch his display of the sweet science. and dog walking lennox lewis across the ring in round 6 with one eye IMPOSING HIS WILL AND EXCLAIMING THROUGH HIS ACTIONS THAT HE WAS THE RING GENERAL FROM BEGINNING TO END IN THAT FIGHT.
HAIL TO THE KINGS!!!! NOW WLADIMIR GO BRUTALIZE THE WREST OF YOUR OPPONENTS AND ACQUIRE THAT 4TH BELT!!!!Posted December 18, 2013 2:55 pm
Good plan on paper. The only reason there hasn’t been a undisputed heavyweight champion is the brothers won’t fight. Now that issue is irrelevant. WBC has to announce who fights for the vacant title first, they fight, then it would come down to whether the new belt holder wants to duck and hide like Povetkin did for years.Posted December 18, 2013 2:49 pm
Well finally, and very soon we will have ONE champ like the old days.Posted December 18, 2013 2:39 pm
who gives a fu#k.Posted December 18, 2013 2:26 pm
Well, it sounds like we have another Wladdy borefest waiting for us. Yippy…Posted December 18, 2013 2:18 pm
I think Wlad is gonna get knocked out soon if he fights Stiverne or Wilder. I hate to say it. But he looked terrible his last time out. Marco Huck did a better job on Povetkin that Wlad did. He looked like he was falling to pieces mentally in that fight and he was extrememly vulnerable defensively at times. I do not know what to make of this guy. I wonder sometimes has he always been that bad, Sometimes he is a little more natural and relaxed and let’s his hands go, his last fight showed some of his fragility. He has all this potential. But i think a determined hard hitting heavy even perhaps an in shape Chisora will knock Wlad out. If he is in with another overrated can like Povetkin he will be ok though.Posted December 18, 2013 2:08 pm
No doubt: Wladimir is head and shoulders above any other heavyweight in the world. The WBC will let lesser contenders fight for the belt. The mentioned North Americans are #7, #11 and #13 in my opinion.
Doubt that. Wlad is already the champ, being undisputed means nothing. He has the Ring Belt, that is the only belt that mattersPosted December 18, 2013 1:58 pm
Vatali is d best heavyweight of ALL time!! he wwould beat anybody from any era#real talkPosted December 18, 2013 1:43 pm
