wlad should face pulev and then the winner of fury vs wilder. That fight needs to happen. Leapai can fight chisora or arreola, he would lose to either of them and then are not that good.

Fury lost a ton of respect after calling out Wilder when Haye dropped out, only to “retire” when Wilder eagerly accepted. That was stupid. Win or lose, it would have showed the balls the HW division needs right now to get things moving. Now Fury looks more like the overgrown punk more and more people think he is.

If Fury doesn’t deserve a title shot who does? And who have these other guys beaten that makes them more deserving? The only other young gun who’s facing comparable comp is Jenkins. People bigup the wrong contenders. Other than Stiverne, Fury and Jenkins are the top two contenders because both are on the fast track and both have remained undefeated.

Yep, ideally Fury should stay active and have a couple more fights.
The Haye debacle has undoubtedly messed things up for Fury, but he needs to put it behind him and fight some of the guys just mentioned.

Fury is he really wanted to make a mark would fight pianetta wach or Thompson and show wlad he can do the same.

complete joke of a fight.

rustybucket…Agreed,Fury earned a shot alot more then some of the other guys that already got one.But really he needs a few more solid fights, plus after Haye pulling out twice Fury now been inactive.Fury is use to being fairly active so to fight W.K. in his next fight isnt smart.A few more fights maybe 2 or 3 then go for it…

Tyson is as deserving of a title shot as any who have already had one. It looks more like a case of Tyson Fury just upsetting the wrong people which is not surprising with his attitude.
As for Wilder, an impressive record, but against very poor opposition. Right now he is being over-rated by many.
It would be a backward step for Tyson to fight Wilder, but a forward step for Wilder to fight Chisora, who Tyson has already beat.

Wladimir will be 38 years old if he fought Fury… Fury might have been a joke 10 fights ago… Now he’s a 25-year-old thumper who trains hard… He’s 6’9″ X 250 in shape.. Nothing to take lightly.

I do think Wladimir, despite his age, will jab the living crap out of Fury and knock him out in 9 or 10 rounds.. There’s a massive experience gap — and skill gap… But Fury is big, tough, and mean as a rattlesnake… It would be a very fun fight to watch.

Wilder hasnt proved he can beat Travis Walker or John McDermott yet, let alone beating Fury. Fury is a proven contender, Wilder is a serial ducker, and until he fights a genuine contender or two, is a fraud.

super***champ Wlad could be on his death bed at 95 burp and knock Fury out. Fury needs to fight Wilder, Arreola, Ortiz, Povetkin, or Adamek. throw in Price or Thompson both would KO Fury. Hell we could even throw in Triple G he probable could pull off a KO.

Fury is going about this all wrong. If you want a guy to do you a favor/ aka get knocked out he need to ask nicely.

Fury beat better fighters then alot of the recent guys who got a shot at the title. And Wilder who walked away on the Fury fight because he wanted a insane deal…Wilders way of ducking, but looking like he wanted the fight. But Fury needs some more solid fights before a W.K. fight, that would be the smart thing to do…

Feed Fury to Wilder, and get it over with.

Tyson Fury is, has, and probably always will be a prima dona and a brat. He chased the money in the Haye fight and crapped out. At least act like an adult and accept that fact that you made a bad decision…twice! He could have easily secured a mandatory title defense against Wlad if he had faced Pulev in the eliminator; he chose not to and now he’s kicking himself. But like most brats, whether fully grown or underage, he wants to blame others for his bad decisions. Grow the hell up!

Peter Fury stated that he wants to see Tyson fight at least 3 bouts next year. That certainly would be an improvement. Fury has to fight more often if he’s serious about getting a shot at the world title.

Wilder vs Fury, would be an EMBARESSING KO for Fury. Wilder puts people to sleep while their still verticle! It might be comical to see Fury SOUND ASLEEP while still standing for a split second before the 6’9″ uncorridinated lumbering OX falls like a big oak tree! Not to mention seeing the pompus Fury on the ground having uncontrolable convulsions would be a bad way for him to end his boxing career. Fury would have been MUCH better off, just getting out pointed by Pulev.

they are both bums fighting in the weakest heavyweight era ever.

Wilder KOs everyone with the exception of WK, but WKs clock is ticking. WKs reflexes will be starting to slow down, and he doesnt have a IRON chin to fall back on. WK needs to fight 3 fights in 2014, and then GTFO. Provided that a GLARING Wilder weaknees doesnt surface, he has PLENTY of POWER, and enough skill to OWN the HW division for years to come.

Why make Wilder and Fury fight each other? Vlad is struggling for challengers as it is, at the minute we have two in Widler and Fury, if we make them fight each other we only have 1! Who elase if Vlad gonna fight?

Fight his way into position? Lol! is that what Panieta did? Wach did? How about Mormek? These guys never deserved a shot as they didnt even look like they could give Vlad problems let alone have a record which suggested they deserved a title shot. Yet they got them. Vlad V Fury would be a huge fight.

Fury is much better off clamoring for a fight with the winner of Stiverne-Arreola. Not sure he could be either but at least he has some chance there. He has no chance of defeating the 37 yr old Klitschko (or even when Wladimir is 47). Big, slow, only slightly above-average power, and a shaky chin — a bad combination against Wlad.

Who is Fury? Yeah right, the guy who ducked Pulev once, the guy who ducked Wilder as well… Very brave, no doubt, he deserves the crown without any bouts.

If fury is smart he should call Wladimir out when he gets older like 39 or 40 . Fury fights him now , he gets desroyed easily like rd 1 or rd 3 , he just don’t have a chance at this moment unless they allow him to have a baseball bat .

Wilder would knock Fury into the middle of 2020. Fury wants to stay out of a coma he better pick the magic man for a heavy fight. Chis would beat Fury by KO as well if they rematched.

My goodness. Steve Cunningham put Fury on his ass ! Imagine if that were Wlad’s right hand. Fury would still be down. I think Haye or Wilder also would beat Fury by KO !

Wazza_G1980

@Farmboxer – that’s 100% correct.

I would order a match between Stiverne and Perez for the vacant belt. With an eliminator between Fury and Wilder for a first crack at the new champion. As well as an eliminator between Chisora and Arreola for the 2nd. Those would be very action packed fan friendly matches, sure it’s not 1vs 2 and 3vs 4 as far as their rankings go, but far too many questions have to be asked anyway as to how they came up with the order of that they have to care about that anyway.

Wilder called out fury and fury whent to retirement now he wants a shot at wlad gtfoh this b*tch should stay retired.

Posted December 23, 2013 2:10 am

Wilder does not deserve to be ranked #3 WBC without ever fighting anyone in the top 50-60! Fury would beat Wilder, Vlad will knock Wilder out, so will Pulev, Arreola, etc………….

“Fury just flat out wants the title shot without having to fight his way into position.” – Wrong. Fury has fought and beaten several contenders including Chisora who got a title shot while Fury did not. He’s done more to earn a shot than the others so that statement is nonsense.

Wilder and Wlad both would KO on Fury in the first round. Fight makes zero business sense.

Will Wladimir “do this for Fury”? Yes, in a heartbeat and here’s why: What Wlad has in Germany is a dedicated live fanbase that guarantee that he fights at home and gets huge purses. As a mandatory challenger Fury would command 30% of such a purse, as a voluntary defence he may be willing to settle for less. Here’s what Wlad DOESN’T have: a ppv deal. Even in Germany he took a one-off signing payment for fight for free on Sat 1 and so any additional revenue he gains has to come from abroad. The US networks invested in his last outing against Povetkin and won’t be inclined to do so again, the UK netowrks have little interest in him either even on free access. What Fury provides with a TV deal is uncertain – he typically fights on Channel 5 but the fact that the Haye bout was going to be on Sky ppv means that he isn’t tied to them and also that he WILL sell ppvs. If you recall, David Haye originally tried to fight Wlad with a simple deal whereby Wlad kept the lion’s share of the purse, ALL of the German TV money and nothing else. K2 baulked at that and insisted that all TV money was put into a common pot AND SPILT 50/50. In other words, Klitschko has realised that he has no appeal overseas and so his future opponents will be those who do, Fury just has to show his marketability and he’s in.

GaryintheBronx

Fury asking Wlad for a fight is certainly shooting for the stars – Deontay Wilder would be the moon though and a PPV fight we all would want to see. Winner can try for a Ukrainian run but going on 37, Wlad is setting up to retire soon anyway.

Fury is prob goin to have to wait his turn. Vlad has a wbo mandatory against some dude. Then pulev is rated num 1 by ibf. Doesnt matter none of them including fury will beat vlad. I think pulev however has the best chance.
