Im a bit worried 4 u, 2014 might b a rough 1 4 u hec dog? Remember its just sport, already been and will more great champs and the world will still turn when Manny is put in2 retirement…..dont take it 2 heart when it happens.

Lara has unfinished business v. Molina who he’s diligently avoided since being bedeviled and roughed-up in their Friday Night bout. moreover, Molina is a legitimate title-holder. Wtf is Lara waiting for?

Posted January 6, 2014 6:59 pm

Haimat

TARK, Lara is good but getting caught on the ropes in every single round against Angulo ain’t good. Rigo just keeps on turning his opponent and would not even think about it.

Still with the right training and attitude he beats Floyd hands down. Big strong slick south paw. He doesn’t need to worry about lil Floyd walking him down.

“Marquez won’t fight Bradley unless he can take unlimited amounts of PEDs prior to the fight.” – that’s not right. Why does Marquez get a free card?

Top Skank! Lol… Arum is just going to recycle the same 2 or 3 matchups over and over and over again smh… Is there really a need for this!?

Losing patience!

Floyds making out Arums the problem. Floyds the problem. Arums the excuse. Mannys the warrior

TO TARK

To Tark
I might add that Angulo was ahead on 2 of the 3 judges cards and had banked 2 knockdowns into the bargain. Lara needs to clear up his fight with Angulo before he even thinks about Mayweather. He was doing the zzz dance and had all the trouble he could handle from el Pero.

Posted January 6, 2014 6:48 am

TO TARK

Tark, you wrote
I want to see Floyd fight Lara… I see him having frightful time of it.
That Cuban kid is coming on.. He’s fast and sharp as a razor.

When is Lara going to rematch Angulo? He was eating canvas up until Angulo’s injury.

controversial loss v. Bradley. controversial “win” v. Marquez. DEVASTATING KO loss to Marquez. boring, potshotting UD v. Rios, beating the crap out of Morales a couple times, beating Marquez a few times, being the Mexicutioner, making me and other beaners cry, THAT is how Pacquiao* will be remembered.

Posted January 6, 2014 4:41 am

TARK

Let’s not do Provodnikov please… Let’s do somebody who can box.

Posted January 6, 2014 3:35 am

TARK

I would like to see Pacquiao vs Bradley… Porter… Garcia… Brook… or Matthysse… All winnable fights for him, but they will make him box.

I want to see Floyd fight Lara… I see him having frightful time of it.

Ok stop talking and get in on. They both have something to prove right? People feel Manny was robbed even though he never dominated Bradley. And Tim feels he won. there should be no issues because they are both with Arum but. Bradley will beat his ass this time for sure. Manny simply is not the same fighter he was in 09 he has decline big time..

HIDALGO, Pacquiao* has declared supreme fitness and confidence prior to each of his recent and underwhelming performances v. Bradley, Marquez, and Rios. “the very best training camp ever” to be exact. lack of preparedness isn’t Pacquiao’s* problem. he’s simply very good but not that great and will always struggle (if not be KTFO) v. the very best competition, which is why he consistently avoids it if at all possible.

Posted January 6, 2014 2:24 am

“In all seriousness, Manny Pacquiao can beat anyone from 140-160. ”

However, I don’t agree with this at all. Pac will never fight above welterweight again. So it’s a total waste of time to even fantasize about him fighting anyone other than a welterweight, or maybe at a lower catchweight–for somebody like Mikey Garcia.

“The legendary Manny Pacquiao should fight Bradley and take care of that unfinished business.”

I agree. And if Manny comes as prepared as he did for his fight with Rios, Bradley doesn’t stand a chance–good ankle or no.

Posted January 6, 2014 2:20 am

Hidalgo

“…if Pacquiao selects Provodnikov for next fight?”

LMAO! Pac doesn’t decide who he will fight. Almost every single boxer with the exception of maybe Mayweather, when asked the question, “Who do you want to fight next?”, has replied, “Well, that’s up to my promoter.” Pac has sung the same song in the past. He may publicly say one thing, but behind closed doors other people are making the decision for him. Either directly, or indirectly.

Manny will do some incredible things in boxing. He has yet to fight his best fight as I mentioned, and when you watch his next one, you’ll see. Remember, Manny i the only fighter in the history of boxing to win 8 division titles, which technically makes him the greatest fighter of all time. Who else can step up and do that? Robinson? Duran? Chavez? Ali? Calzhage? Roy Jones Jr? No one will ever achieve this status. Manny obliterated everyone in the first stage of his career. This from aguy no one even knew. No amateur background. A natural born fighter that will never come around again. Get ready, Manny will do the impossible. This is a specially talented fighting machine. Just watch his next fight and make your own judgement. Manny is the best.

Posted January 6, 2014 2:01 am

Dan D

Hec dog, are you for real? Honestly??? If your head goes any further up Pacquiao’s backside it will be difficult to tell where he ends and you begin. I don’t wish to be rude with my previous remark but that is some nonsense you are spouting.

The legendary Manny Pacquiao should fight Bradley and take care of that unfinished business. The robbery was atrocious. In all seriousness, Manny Pacquiao can beat anyone from 140-160. People have to stop underestimating this living legend. Mike Tyson, Larry Holmes, Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler all threw out high praises of Manny right after his boxing clinic exhibited while defeating Brandon Rio, another former champion. Manny showed more of his versatility. No one has yet to see the best Manny Pacquiao. He is yet to come. I am fully confident that Manny would beat and dominate the following fighter: Danny Garcia, Mikey Garcia, Provodnikov, Bradley, Thurman, Broner, Porter, Mayweather, Canelo, and GGG. Yes, GGG. Manny Pacquiao isn’t a normal fighter. He is a specialtalent that comes along once in a life time. He can do things that no one can conceive of. Manny is a versatile fighter that can change like a chameleon. You will be surprised at what Manny does next. Don’t ever doubt Manny Pacquiao. Manny is the best.

bradley beats marquez again easier this time and he also beat pacquiao

Posted January 5, 2014 10:41 pm

Fighting Words

It looks like in JMM and Pacquiao last fight, Pacquiao got careless because Marquez was hurt and Manny thought he was ready to be KO’ED, Marquez was bleeding from both nostal and gasping for air, Manny went for the kill and it cost him. One is true Manny made the contract weight, unlike Mayweather. Out of all Mayweather fights, the fight against Marquez is the only time he fail to make weight, now there is something wrong with that picture.

Posted January 5, 2014 9:32 pm

The Truth

Arum is getting desperate IMO…how many times can you recycle a Pacquiao/Marquez bout?..now he wants a Bradley/Marquez rematch which I don’t think anyone cares to see. Goldenboy is really taking over the sport. Arum’s greed has really hurt boxing and it appears the top young fighters are choosing to sign with Al Haymond as their manager and Golden Boy as the promotor.

If pac fights provo his career may be over! Arum must be ready to cash manny out!

Bradley -Pacquiao 2, Marquez-Provodnikov is better match

Posted January 5, 2014 9:17 pm

The Prince

All of this proves that Arum is in control of Manny Pacquiao and only has the Pacman fight Arum’s own in-house fighters. People trying to call out Floyd Mayweather for stating the obvious are idiots. Period.

Posted January 5, 2014 6:59 pm

blackbert

Everybody is getting sick of Arum and Pacquiao. He can’t use Floyd’s name anymore, a fighter that he never intended to fight, so now he going to try to ride on Bradley’s name, another fighter he has no intention of fighting. He gets knocked out by Marquez, then fights sorry Brandon Rios, who just got beat by sorry Mike Avarado, and now he talking Mikey Garcia. GTFO! If Pacquiao had any decency or courage, he’d be fighting Bradley. Bradley is coming off of some good fights and good wins. That’s a fight that Bradley wants and I as a fan want. That’s a fight we all need. If he loses, it shows that he was only in the fight because Bradley was hurt. If he wins, it’ll show that he still has the right stuff, and that maybe the Marquez lose was a fluke. It’s time for Pacquiao to give something back because he sure isn’t gonna fight Keith Thurman or Shawn Porter or Matheeysee. He won’t even fight Amir Kahn, and Canelo is not even an option. Talk about a first class ducker. Pacquiao is the king of ducking.

Posted January 5, 2014 6:31 pm

Get over it

Manny makes peanuts he earns 3 million a fight,Floyd makes 100 million thats why the only person to benefit from them fight was Manny. Floyd gets paid regardless. Poor pactards I got some kleenex for you cry babies. Manny can think about Floyd when this fool cant even avenge his losses or pay his taxes he got major problems right now and no one even buys his fights on ppv.

Posted January 5, 2014 6:20 pm

Boxtradamus

Mosely was #3 P4P at the time DUMB DUMB. Thats why Pacquiao wouldn’t face him until Floyd knocked him off the P4P list.

We all know its Provodnikov vs Manny. Manny is allergic to Top 10 P4P competition.

Posted January 5, 2014 4:20 pm

Marquez doesn’t do well against boxers, movers, ala Bradley or Mayweather but he can deal with fighters that he can time and counter. His 4th fight with Pacquiao is as good as it gets for a counter hitter. Top Rank has nothing left for Pacquiao except to put him in with static hitters lkke Rios and Provodnikov. What next? Is Margarito gonna be granted a licence and hauled out of retirement? Manny needs to leave TR and have a couple of fights against Mayweather, a Cotto rematch and perhaps a shot against someone like Canelo. Those fights could see him earn some money before he hangs them up.

Posted January 5, 2014 3:58 pm

PEEJ

There is a reason they don’t want to fight Bradley. Pac looks terrible against boxers and counter punchers and really has had trouble with them both and has yet to have a clear cut victory over one. That is why they want Ruslan.

Posted January 5, 2014 3:51 pm

Papo

Pac needs to fight Bradley…period. The only reason for him not fighting Bradley would be that he and his corner are concern of Bradley’s counterpunching ability. They rather go against Provodnikov because he’ll be there to get hit, which would make him better suited for Pac.

I guess since Pac catch weight fights are over, he’ll try cherry picking himself to a few bouts before retiring.

As for Marquez, he doesn’t deserve a rematch with Bradley. He cried about being robbed after it was cleared Bradley out boxed him and even hurt him a few times during their match.
