TARK

This pundit says.., “Bob Arum is simply waiting until Mayweather Jr. runs out of marketable names to fight.”

That’s TOTAL BULL. You’re NEVER out of marketable names to fight in this game.

If Floyd fought Lara, Garcia, and Pacquiao—unlikely as that is—there would be somebody else coming along by that time who is marketable — like possibly Thurman.

Floyd would never have to fight somebody like Khan to stay busy.

Manny “Pac Man” Pacquiao, the ONLY 8 division Boxing Champion in History has shaken up Floyd fan by calling their man a COWARD. The Filipino fire ball standing 5ft 6 inches has came out firing to once and for all shut Floyd Mayweather up. The Fighter Of The Decade said what the sports world has been saying for years. Floyd is a COWARD. He may have a tarnished and tainted unbeaten record, but it’s just that, tarnished and tainted. Manny Pacquiao never has needed Mayweather. Mayweather desperately needs Manny Pacquiao. He will forever be remembered as the guy that ran from the little guy. What’s most humiliating is that former great fighters like Leonard, Duran, Hearns, Hagler, Holmes, Chavez have all questioned Mayweather as a champion because they clearly see Mayweather unwilling to fight the legendary Manny Pacquiao. Yes, the same Manny Pacquiao that destroyed great boxing Hall Of Famers like Morales, Barrera, Cotto, Mosely, De La Hoya, Margarito, Marquez, Diaz and others. Manny, a fighting machine tormented through 8 different divisions in a manner never seen before. The entertainment world, political world and the sports world watched his dominate his opponents in way way a lion devours it’ prey. Today, Manny Pacquiao dissected and destroyed another former champion in Brandon Rios. He systematically and purposely displayed one of the most graceful boxing exhibitions ever seen before. Yes, the same destructive hurricane that brutalized his opponents displayed another part of his arsenal as he overwhelmed Brand Rios with the eloquent movement of an eagle as it soars through the sky. Beauty inside the ring. Today, Manny has grown tired of chasing the man he called a coward, Floyd Mayweather. For years he has been running and full of excuses. Mayweather has a well know reputation of avoiding all the tough chalengers (Mosely in prime, Kostya Tyzu, Margarito, Pacquiao & De La Hoya in his prime). Floyd has been running his mouth and making disrespectful comments about the great Manny Pacquiao. Today, Manny turned the tables on Mayweather. He straight out challenged him and called him a COWARD. Mayweather responded not. The truth is the truth. Boxing fans are no longer wanting to hear Floyd’s excuses. They’re tired of him talking. They want him to shut up and fight. Manny Pacquiao is a wonderful, peaceful, caring, giving, helping, understanding admirable man that never speaks any foul language. He shows true respect to all and is a sportsman inside the ring and gentlemen outside the ring, but today enough was enough. He through a punch that Mayweather and his fans will never recover from. The world is still talking about what Manny said. They love Manny because their is nothing to dislike about Manny Pacquiao. One thing no one should ever do is what Floyd did today. He upset Manny Pacquiao. Manny’s wrath is on Mayweather. I feel for him. Manny is going to hurt him one day. Trust me. Don’t ever piss off Manny Pacquiao, never……

the cherrypicking Fraud Manny* Pacquiao* ducked everyone and anyone that posed any real risk. Manny* not only avoided the red-hot rematch v. Marquez following their first bout, he insisted on four-year intervals between bouts I–III. following the Biggest Choke in Boxing history in which Pacquiao* squandered a three-KD headstart he targeted a presumably faded Morales coming of another loss to Barrera and was convincingly DEFEATED. he then cherrypicks the lesser Diaz at 135lbs even though J. Diaz, Campbell, and Casamayor were the main players at that weight. the only reason he challenged a 154lb DLH was because Roach assured him and the boxing public that DLH was “SHOT” and could “no longer pull the trigger”. to be safe, he also insisted that the bout take place at 147lbs and include rehydration clauses that a dehydrated DLH could only satisfy on the scale but not in a boxing ring. Pacquiao* then targets Hatton AFter Mayweather had already softened him up; catchweight-compromises Cotto in a bogus “welter” title-bout; bribes Clottey to take a virtual dive for which he’s rewarded with a $1 million bonus(?!?); rejects random, Harmless, and MUTUALLY-Applied testing to face Mayweather and collect a $25–$50 million payday; catchweight-compromises Margarito for a made-up “8th title”; employs 30-second bursts of activity per round v. Bradley and LOSES Again; rejects Marquez’s anti-doping challenge for III and is thoroughly outClassed, outSmarted, and outPunched; once again rejects an “older”, “slower”, and “ringworn” Marquez’s anti-doping challenge before being Utterly DEMOLISHED in IV; and takes a year off before returning to deliver a “boring” and uninspired performance v. Rios, which didn’t even crack the 500K PPV mark. finally, in a division that includes Garcia, Thurman, Bradley, Maidana, Provodnikov, Broner, Guerrrero, Ortiz, Khan, Soto-Karass, and Lopez, and Canelo, Lara, and Kirkland immediately north at 154lbs, Pacquiao* considers targeting the 130lb Mikey Garcia(?!?). the profile that emerges is that of a Suspect and Shameless Cherrypicker and Catchweight-compromising Fraud.

The great Manny Pacquiao fought everyone and anyone that was out there. Manny didn’t just beat Cotto, he destroyed him. Manny didn’t just beat Hatton, he destroyed him. Manny was on a reign of terror that will never be equaled ever again. He fought with the intensity and warrior spirit that was thought of by those that founded boxing. Man vs Man. Pacquiao is the name that stands for a fighting warrior with the courage of a lion. The true description of a fighter has the picture of Manny Pacquiao right next to it. Manny has both the predator and the prey inside of him. He can become the hurricane that wipes out everything in his way or he can become the quiet prey that respects, loves, cares and treats everyone well. Manny Pacquiao has been the name of boxing for the better part of 10 years. The Pope, The President and the world’s dignitaries have made their way to greeting and meeting the only 8 division boxing champion in history. The only 8 division champion in boxing history sets him apart from even the greatest of the greats like Duran, Leonard, Hagler, Robinson, Ali, Chavez and all of the other great fighters to have ever stepped inside the ring. Manny reaches the pinnacle of life and the depths of the sea. he has no boundaries that that he can’t conquer. Manny is a man of character. A man that clothes himself as a fighter for only a short time in his life. He has been chosen. Many has conquered what most only dream of. he is a very successful Actor, Singer, Boxer, Model, helper of the poor, congressman, philanthropist and soon to be trainer. People from all walks of life relate to him in one way or another. The most popular athlete in the history of sports. A man that passes legislation to help those that have no voice. A beautiful father, son, brother and husband. Manny Pacquiao is a man that has set the example for generations to come. Those that are alive today to see and witness Manny Pacquiao inside and outside the squared circle are fortunate to have seen quite possibly the greatest fighter in the sport of boxing. Manny is the best.

Floyd Mayweather is simply and clearly afraid of Manny Pacquiao. He first started with the Ped accusations. He was sued, paid big money and left that alone. Since then he has came up with excuse after excuse and now sees the opportunity to use Arum as the crutch. Manny clearly stated on ESPN that he would agree to all Floyd’s demands and accept the lesser percentage. Floyd as usual never responded. There’s no hiding the fact that Floyd is scared. He then begins babbling recently about how much he offered Manny before blah, blah, blah. Who cares? Stop using Arum as your excuse because the boxing world doesn’t believe you any more. How can one man (Arum) have so much power over a man that says he’s his own boss and makes his own decisions (Mayweather). Seems like Floyd doesn’t have the power he thinks or boasts that he has. Trust me, if Floyd wanted to make this fight happen, he would. Floyd fans have to stop believing Floyd’s lies and contradictions. It’s really not about money because Floyd has more than enough to last him and his family a life time. It’s all about a man named Manny Pacquiao that struck fear in the hearts of the Mayweathers ever since he came on the scene. Look at the trail of excuses, accusations and running Floyd has done. Floyd Mayweather is now the joke of the boxing world. He carries no credibility. He’s mocked by just about everyone including his peers. All of this because Manny Pacquiao, arguably the greatest fighter of all time and the most exciting of all time continues to chase Floyd at every corner. Manny’s name rises as Floyd’s name falls in the eyes of sports fans all over the world.

He’s extremely knowledgeable, fantastic sense of humour and a razor sharp wit, suave, sophisticated and debonair, and when he was donning his serious hat he was practically impossible to defeat in a debate. No one could administer an ass-whooping like that guy. lol. He would cut through the pretenders and expose their lack of knowledge and intellectual paucity like a hot knife through butter, and although he was absolutely ruthless and unforgiving when doing so, he always managed to make it fun and entertaining for his fanbase. Such a shame he left us to live the life of a vulture.

Who cares all this talk once again is useless. People are stuck in 09 when Manny was on a short run beating dehyrdrated junior middle weights. Like Oscar, Cotto and Margecheato since then he has gone cold no more KOs because he is fighting guys in his weight class. His rein is over unless he can find more suckers, to come down in weight or move up like a lightweight Rios. And he has no power no skill and no money besides that his ppv sales have fell all the way off. Actually even if he fights Floyd he still will not make enough loot to get out of debt, Besides that he needs to avenge his losses the troubles are pilling up for him and Roach is talking out his ass.

Since the fight is not happening then we are left with our imagination. One more fact, Mayweather had never fought a guy as fast as Manny Pacquiao. A slower Cotto bleeds him. JMM was ask who between Pacquiao and Mayweather is faster and quicker, and Marquez said Pacquiao is quicker.

The punch that troubled Floyd with Mosely will be there all night with Pacquiao. Mayweather’s jab will be diminished by Pacquiao’s right cross. Pacquiao will win by unanimous decision as Fredie Roach predicted. Ring generalship will not belong to Floyd in that night because he will spend more time on defense. The only way Floyd could win is a Marquez like punch.

PEEJ man didn’t your Floyd settle this PEDS thing with Manny? And to tell you man, it’s not that Pacquiao is afraid of needles or drug test, it’s Bob Arum who doesn’t want that Mayweather would bully Pacquiao by his overwhelming demands. Ever since your Floydie has been trying to avoid fighting Pacquiao. FMJ agrees to 50/50 with Bob Arum and Top Rank when his alibi was drug testing. When Manny said ok with the drug testing he priced himself out. He did not agree with 50/50 anymore. When Manny said ok I’ll take 45/55 his alibi now is Bob Arum. Now he wants Manny to quit Top Rank so that maybe he could negotiate with the fight. Geez! But maybe you are right about Manny needing money that is why he wants the fight with FMJ. To tell you the truth neither needed each for their legacy. They are hall of Famers.

Roach once again is talking out his ass. Manny has declined big time and they have no leverage period and instead of them coming to the table. FIGHT AFICIONADO, according to Roach, all Pacquiao* has to do is ask and the fight will be confirmed. the ball’s been in Pacquiao’s* court for years but it’s apparently the lack of balls between his legs that keeps him hiding behind Arum. otherwise, he’s been able to make EVERY other matchup happen just by asking and signing on the dotted line. nonetheless, i’ve always considered this matchup a lopsided mismatch in Floyd’s favor and won’t miss a thing if it never happens.

“He basically told me, ‘f___ you! I don’t need you. I don’t need your $40 million. I’m getting the same type of money you getting. So if you getting the same type of money I’m getting, you don’t need me,” said Mayweather of Pacquaio, whose win over Rios sold only 475,000 units on pay per view — far less than the 1.15 million buys generated by his loss to Marquez.

“If you doing the same type of pay-per-view numbers I’m doing, you don’t need me. I want to see the pay-per-view numbers. As a matter of fact, ever since he’s been fighting on pay-per-view, I want to see his residual checks; the money that comes in on the back end, I want to see those checks. I don’t know what their relationship is, but I’m not doing business with Rob Arum.”

“Floyd then asked for testing and Pac finally breathed because he found his way out of the fight”. nobody has ever provided a credible explanation for how Harmless, Random, and MUTUALLY-Applied testing provided Pacquiao* with a “way out of the fight”? aside from Pacquiao’s* panicked excuses about culture, health, and religion that were patently absurd and were subsequently(and conveniently) “overcome” for his bout v. Rios . . . (sniff-sniff?) . . . i think i smell cat piss(?).

PEEJ

So what records do you have that Top Rank and Golden Boy have worked together in the past couple of years? Why do you think Guerrero wants to leave Golden Boy to fight Pac? Because they don’t work together and that has nothing to do with Floyd. It is a fight that involves Guerrero. Pac and company don’t want the fight because they know Floyd would beat Pac convincingly. So they found and out by saying the wouldn’t take the test Floyd had asked for.

Posted January 9, 2014 4:58 pm

PEEJ

Not at all. I am living in the now. Fact is Arum has wasted plenty of Floyds time. Floyd has made it clear, Arum is not involved. If that happens then they can start negotiating. And from what Roach is saying, Arum will be willing. Until then the fight will not happen. And all this living in the past. It is all part of it, if there was no water in a wail 4 years ago, you check again a year later there is no water, what makes you think there will be water in it 4 years later? Floyd is not gonna go through all the BS with Arum again.

after EVERY term and condition had been agreed too (including Pacquiao’s* over-the-top $10 million overweight penalty) Pacquiao* inexplicably balked at Harmless, Random, and MUTUALLY-Applied testing. not even for a projected $25-$50 million payday. it now also appears that (according to Roach) pok-pok-pok-POKquiao* has never insisted on this matchup being confirmed to begin with. precisely what fight-fans have been asserting all along. Pacquiao* doesn’t want anything to do with “Money”.

The only reason the fight hasn’t happened is due to Mayweather’s fear of Pacquiao’s speed and power.

His claim Pacquiao is using PEDs was disputed by test performed after fights, and court proceedings during Pacquiao’s defamation case against Mayweather.

Records show Top Rank and GBP previously co-promoted fights, and there was never an issue of Bob Arum stepping aside. However, if Pacquiao was asking for more money then “MAYWEATHER” was willing to pay, who would be promoting the fight? Please don’t say TMT, because that takes the entire matter right back to that flat $40 million out of pocket fiasco Mayweather tried to pull.

Posted January 9, 2014 4:48 pm

PEEJ

Yeah when Pac first asked for the fight Floyd agreed to everything Pac demanded. Pac was so stunned by this he thought he backed himself in a corner. Floyd then asked for testing and Pac finally breathed because he found his way out of the fight. He then decided to come up with many excuses on why he could not take random testing

“All he has to do is call Bob, tell him who he wants, Mayweather, and I think it’ll get done,”(?). if i didn’t know better, i would have to conclude that Roach is a “Floydiot”(?!). what he’s quoted as saying is preCISEly what Floyd and true fight-fans (not Pacquiao’s* fanboys) have been asserting all along. for Manny* to put his foot down and demand that the Mayweather bout be confirmed even if it means that Arum step aside. Btw, Manny’s* aura of formidability has already been irrevocably SHATTERED. he remains the only welter that the “older”, “slower”, and “ringworn” feather-welter Marquez has been able to KO. just imagine what Mayweather will do to him? the term punching bag comes to mind.

When Manny first asked for this fight Floyd went into convulsions and threw a fit.Not once in the beginning did he say yes I’ll fight him. He did however say he would not fight him because Manny was on Peds and did not start pushing for random drug tests until it appeared he would fight Pacq. The test Floyd required was not mandatory and he had never requested it before. despite the fact that steroid testing had come in approx 2001/2002…….Then he would have us believe he did it to clean up boxing……

Floyds legacy is set. If his legacy depended on one fight then he could of fought Pac and nobody else and be considered the greatest. Fact is Pac and Company have come out with many excuses. If you can’t see that then you are just blind. Arum has come out and said every excuse, has done it in interviews also.

There just seems to be no hiding the fact that Pac and company don’t want to see Floyd in the ring. They would rather take the matter to court. Fact is Pac will still have to agree to the random testing. He has obviously shown it does not effect him the way he had claimed it did. All lies. Now the main thing is Arum. That has been the situation from the beginning. Of course Pac will take a much lesser purse size now. He can no dictate the terms. He is in debt so he will take what ever he can get. But the fact is Pacs lawyer has came out and said Arum is holding the fight up and he needs to be released from his contract so the fight can be made. Now we also have Roach saying that he is sure Arum will release him. So even Roach knows the fight was being held up by Arum. So lets see if Arum complies. I doubt it but lets see.

Floyd ain’t scared of Pac. Pac and company denied the random testing. In my mind that shows me Pac is scared of Floyd. Floyd agreed to all of Pacs demands. Pac couldn’t agree on one. He was surprised at how quick Floyd agreed to his terms. But once Floyd brought up the testing Pac found a way out

no mercy, Manny knocking out guys is a long time ago, I’m with you. You seriously dislike the dude, I can tell.
I just can’t see Floyd wanting this fight. He’s been stalling it every way possible since Manny knocked out Hatton and that’s a long time ago as some posters noticed. A fair split cannot be hard to arrange. Sure 50/50 was fair in 2011 and as far as I know Manny is asking for considerably less.
It’s up to Floyd’s people and decide if the risk is worth it.

Posted January 9, 2014 2:37 pm

Titopa

If you guys know me, you know more or less the history of where I stand on this fight. I’m more than certain te tumbo remembers, I used to think Floyd was scared, I stood behind Pacquiao and backed him up 100%, I felt he did NOT have to agree to random testing, I was all for better testing, but I didn’t think Pacquiao HAD to agree, he had leverage, although agreeing would’ve made him look good, he basically said “NO” to a 50/50 fight that Floyd agreed to. Pacquiao then agrees to random testing, but not until Floyd said “fine, I’ll move on”. Fast forward 2 years and now Floyd is in the driver’s seat, he holds the cards, Pacquiao’s drawing power has taken a severe blow (475K) and Floyd’s has hit it’s all time high (2 million buys). Negotiations won’t commence until Bob Arum is out of the picture, why? Cause Arum still wants a 50/50 split and Floyd knows he (Pac) doesn’t deserve it, at this point, Manny’s left fighting Top Rank guys and doing fairly poor numbers, as where Floyd is fighting whoever he wants (mainly GBP fighters) and doing fairly good numbers. I hate to say it, but Manny missed the boat when he didn’t agree to the testing, he had a 50/50 fight he DESERVED and now he’s in a position where he has very little leverage and minimal options.

Doubtful but lets see

Haimat dude thats ancient history. Manny havent KOed anyone since 09, Amd the dudes he KO were dehydrated junior middleweights who were stupid enough to come down to 147. Manny is the biggest hype job in the sport. Floyd needs to make him suffer Manny sucks he is broke and he needs Floyd to help him pay his bills. Arum is running on empty and the gas station is 30 miles away. look at the history Manny struggled 4 times with Marquez and the Bradley fight was so close it could have went either way. Manny can only beat guys that have weight issues otherwise why could he not stop Bradley or Marquez? Wow he looked good against Rios a blown up lightweight that just came off a loss. Another guy with weight issues Rios was a bum. Manny could not even KO him. I say hell no Floyd should set high demands for Manny if he wants the fight he needs to build his ppv sales up. Beat Bradley or some other credible guy so tha they can sell the fight. Floyd sells regardless and Manny well you seen the Rios ppvs number and well as the Bradley fight that says it all. Ditch Arum and take the darn blood test and stop the crying….

Posted January 9, 2014 2:23 pm

get over it…

Nothing is out of the ordinary about wanting a fair fight. Floyd makes everyone who fights him take blood test, And Manny is no different only thing he was asking for was to make sure the fight was clean, If Manny took the test he would have already had is ass beat and these BS articles would be a waste of space like they really are , But Manny was afraid of neddles. Roach mind is gone and he needs to sit his absent minded ass down. Reality is is boy is done its a wrap and no one even pays to see his fights. They need Floyf they cry this negociation BS everytime and everytime its the same thing to try and discredit Floyd oh he is scared oh he wanst drug tests what a load of crap all they had to do is agree to the terms like everyone else Floyd fights. You have to play by his rules and he can make them because he is the man with all the cards. Manny is washed up and coach roach knows it. Hell he could have taken the deal in 09 but he didnt. Roach once again is talking out his ass. Manny has declined big time and they have no leverage period and instead of them coming to the table. Arum uses BS tactics like matching Manny with bums so that he can look good. Making false statements using Roach the joke to make up crap. Manny even got declaired the nimber 1 contender after 2 back to back losses and beatting up a blown up lightweight Rios who wasnt even ranked. I swear the game is corrupt Arum will do anything to come out the victor and try to force anf pressure Floyd to fight but again it will never work, No sense in making Top rape any richer, Floyd made 300 million in 2013 , And he dont need Manny, Manny who
