Manny Pacquiao rattled the boxing world with a few comments directed at Floyd Mayweather. They landed harder than the left hand that dropped Ricky Hatton. Many fans continue to underestimate Manny Pacquiao. He is a a respectful, warm and caring person, but when another boxer continues to disrespect Manny over and over, Manny has a limit. He unleashed a verbal assault that shocked everyone. Fans all over the boxing world opened up their computers and hit the social websites voicing their approval. The quite fighter that Manny Pacquiao is outside the ring came out with one word. The word that Floyd carries on his forehead is branded for good until he fights Manny Pacquiao. Manny Pacquiao has fire in his veins. One must understand where he comes from and what life’s experiences have instilled inside of him. Manny started his professional boxing career at the age of 16. He left his birth place of General Santos City to Manila at age 14. He lived on the streets, under bridges and earned $2 for back alley fights he engaged in in order to survive an bring money to his mother. Manny comes from a third world country where poverty is a way of life. Manny has known a poverty and hopelessness that the ordinary person will never experience. These experiences change the way life is looked at. Fear has no grasp on a man that knows poverty. Adding to Manny’s tough life and horrible memories is the incident involving his own father. Pacquiao’s father left the family while Manny was still in early childhood. He returned one day long enough to eat Manny’s dog then vanished. As his life continued in Manila, Manny sold bread and doughnuts on the streets. He had to do what it took in order to help his mother. Manny Pacquiao has come a long way. A life he could only dream of came to reality because of boxing. Manny had no education, no great boxing trainers, no amateur boxing experience. Basically he was on his own. In the beginning he was doubted by his own country, friends and family. He never quit. He never gave up. And today, he is considered one of the greatest fighters of all time. He has made a bunch of money, has all the fame he needs, and is still the same person he’s always been. He has had his tough times losing to Marquez and going through his tax situation. Still, he has no fear. He hears Floyd Mayweather taunting him and trying to ridicule him. Manny finally says enough. Floyd Mayweather you are a coward. Come and fight me. Mayweather hasn’t been heard from since. No one should underestimate a man that has lived a life like Manny Pacquiao. This is a special kind of man that has no fear. Life beat him up enough as a child, now he wants to fight. Floyd, make the fight. Manny is the best.Posted January 11, 2014 7:08 pm

HAPPYBOY, if Pacquiao* to beat Jinkee (God knows he’s done plenty else to publicly humiliate her), Hec Dog would claim that Jinkee was possessed and give St. Pacquiao* credit for expelling her demons. i can’t help but suspect that Hec Dog is actually a parody of a Pacquiao* fanboy and not for real(?). in fact, that must be conclusion that every sane and sober fight-fan reaches after reading one of Hec Dog’s tributes to St. Pacquiao*.Posted January 10, 2014 4:45 pm
Double standard for Floyd. Pac fans are out they minds. CrazyPosted January 10, 2014 4:37 pm
That’s right you picked Guerrero based on his belief and nothing else. I was incorrect. Fact is Pac is following in the footsteps of Floyd and if he fights Guerrero there will be less PPV buys than what he did for Rios. Only dig him self a deeper holePosted January 10, 2014 4:36 pm

Alvarado. Manny* still wanted no part of a real fight. against Guerrero, Manny* might dare to fight.”
Bottom line is that if it’s good enough for Floyd, why isn’t it good enough for Manny? Floyd would do no better against Brandon Rios than Manny Pacquiao did. Guerrero would do no better against Pacquiao than he did against Floyd.
When Floyd fights safe and dominantly wins a fight against an opponent that doesn’t deserve to be in the ring with him, people say that’s the master putting on an exhibition of the “sweet science.” But when Manny makes the same kind of fight and puts on the same kind of performance, he is knocked for his choice of opponents–”he was chosen to make Manny look good,” he’s accused of being “afraid” to fighter tougher opponents or rematching ones who have beat him.
Guerrero was chosen to make Floyd look good. Why do you think Arum wants Pac to fight him now? If all this yapping about that subject is true, that is.Posted January 10, 2014 3:51 pm
“Guerrero v. Pacquiao* is a good undercard matchup.”
Well, te tumbo, before that happens, maybe Mayweather* himself and his daddy* and GBP* and the USADA* will publicly answer questions regarding a rumor of their involvement in a cover up concerning Mayweather* failing his “A” test three times for three different fights prior to 2013.
Floyd and his team, GBP and the USADA certainly deserve the * until they prove otherwise. Or does “guilty til proven innocent” only apply to Pacquiao?Posted January 10, 2014 3:33 pm

The Pac-Bradley fight was corrupt, man crush, and fanboyism at its best. And A lot of people fell for it Hook line and sinker(except the judges of course). Look at Bradleys face after that fight. He could have went clubbing lol. If Pacquaio beat Bradley so convincingly as the punch stats and you pactards say, where the hell was Bradleys bruises??? Pacquaio is a hard puncher. So why when he dismantled, Mosely, Margarito and Cotto IT SHOWED But Miraculously Bradley’s face was fine??? Ill tell you why…BECAUSE HE WAS NOT CONNECTING AS MUCH AS Jim Lampley,Punch stats and you Pacstitutes WISH he had. The Judges saw what was happening and You other fools saw an illusion. Robert Guerrero is a good boxer, but Manny will most likely beat him convincingly. Let’s talk some sense. It’s no disgrace to lose to Floyd Mayweather, come on. Guerrero is a sound opponent for Manny at this stage. I’d rather see a Pacquiao-Bradley rematch though. Thing is, that first fight was a hollow win for Bradley, and the Provodnikov one was close and hard-fought too. Tim knows he lost against Manny for sure, so I doubt Bradley is too keen for a rematch either. As for Tim Bradley being #3 in the P4P ratings…nah, don’t agree with that. That rating is too high for Tim right now.Posted January 10, 2014 12:12 pm
Hecdog`but come on why should gurrerro be able to just move up to fight a big money fight when he just got scraped by the enemy, i think if not bradley then the rusulan is a waaaay better fight style wise anyway..yezzir!Posted January 10, 2014 12:07 pm
It’s a good match up. not great. Bradley would be the best choice, but he’s asking for too much money. He deserves a good pay day, but should settle and should take the fight. Some have to understand that Manny vs Guerrero would be a much better fight than Floyd vs Guerrero because both Manny & Robert come to fight. Both can box, but these guys are warriors. Floyd as his usual self ran from Guerrero all night. He doesn’t have the confidence to stay inside and fight as we saw in the Cotto fight. He didn’t want any of the mano y mano fight. Manny and Robert will fight, which is always appealing to fight fans. Floyd’s fights are some of the most boring in history because he’s a safety/defense first fighter. Fans walking out early and booing tells you enough about Floyd’s inability to satisfy fans. Fans in his fights come to see the other guy, not him. He as he does always preys on his opponents fan base, which is a fact and he admits. Manny’s fights are always more exciting and entertaining, which is why Guerrero vs Manny would be a fight for fans to see. Finally two good guys in the ring. I would still prefer to see Bradley.Posted January 10, 2014 11:50 am
hugh? really ,why? what has the ghost brought to the table to make him worthy of a big fight except get embarrassed by floyd he’S not done anything worthy!!Posted January 10, 2014 11:49 am
What’s even more funny is Pac fans are defending this match up saying its a good match up. Always a double standard for FloydPosted January 10, 2014 11:01 am
If Pac fights Guerrero there should be a lot of backlash from Pac fans just like there was against Floyd when he dispatched of Guerrero. Guerrero would probably make less money and this fight would sell less than the Rios fight. This makes me laugh because all these Pac fans talk trash about Floyd yet Pac follows in the same foot steps as Floyd.Posted January 10, 2014 11:00 am
Guerrero v. Pacquiao* is a good undercard matchup. otherwise, neither are PPV headliners and Guerrero was never anything more than an opponent. if Manny* wants to return to center stage, he needs to dump Arum and submit to “Money’s” conditions . . . the worm has finally turned with Team Pacquiao* having to settle for Floyd’s leftovers while pretending to not be able to find a more competitive matchup in the deepest division in boxing.Posted January 10, 2014 10:51 am
“I think this fight STINKS”
I do too, Bustajay. But it hasn’t happened yet.
But you know there’s probably nothing better that Arum would enjoy now, than to steal one of GBPs fighters and rub it in its face, and to take another of Mayweather’s opponents and make a load of money off of him after Mayweather already beat him, just to get back at Mayweather for saying he won’t fight Pac while he’s with Arum. LOL! Arum’s probably thinking, “Polish that beat up car! We’ll have no problem reselling it for more than it’s worth! Again! Keep it up Floyd. You make ‘em, we’ll take ‘em!”Posted January 10, 2014 10:47 am

“The whole promotion is going to be centered around “we’re going to beat him worse than Mayweather DID” because they know that will make more people tune IN than saying “watch Pacquiao beat the 3rd BEST Fighter in the World””
Most boxing fans don’t think like you do Boxtra$$wipe. You’re all centered around mythical stats, ratings, and titles. Besides that, Arum never presents anything such as “watch Pacquiao beat the 3rd Best Fighter in the World.”
But even in all your stupidity, you know that it’s smart marketing by Arum and that it has the potential to be an excellent PPV event. So what if Arum and Pacquiao will be riding off Mayweather’s coattails. Mayweather’s the one who touted Guerrero as the best available opponent before he fought him. Mayweather played a large part in creating the myth of the greatness of Robert Guerrero. Now Arum is looking to capitalize on it and you can’t handle it.
Well, regardless of where Guerrero is rated right now, if he’s financially the best available opponent, and if Arum feels Manny can beat him, then he’s the best pick–just as he was for Floyd for the very same reasons. After all, why is Floyd considering Khan? Same reason. Money. And like I said in my last post: He’s still the same Robert Guerrero. Except now he’s worth more.
So who’s smarter? Mayweather for picking this undeserving opponent to begin with, or Arum and Pacquiao for taking advantage of the farce that Mayweather helped to create?
I bet it frosts Mayweather’s butt to see Arum and Pacquiao capitalizing off his BS.Posted January 10, 2014 10:33 am
Pac & Rob em should just pay Bradley his $8M & settle the score. Bradley has raised his stock with his wins over Pac, Provodnokov & Marquez infact aside from the fact his with Top Skank I have him in the front pf fighters deserving a fight vs MayweatherPosted January 10, 2014 10:26 am
Make that fight happen. Pacman vs Guerrero perfect fight to see wit a good undercard like L. Peterson vs Ruslan and Paulie vs Thurman and Lara vs Cotto at 154. This is the fight should happen next. Give Roach Guerrero for Pacman.Posted January 10, 2014 10:26 am
I think this fight STINKS
More proof that Rob Arum and Pacnap like riding on Mayweather’s name, why else would they want to fight Guerrero whose coming off a loss to Floyd an hardly has a fanbase. especially after the low PPVs vs Rios.Posted January 10, 2014 10:21 am
“By the way Mayweather was CORRECT. Top Rank is still trying to sell Fights based off of Mayweather’s name”
Can’t disagree with Boxtra$$wipe on this. How else did Guerrero get into Manny Pacquiao’s fight picture?
But, here’s the thing about Boxtra$$wipe: He doesn’t really know anything about the fighters and he just bases his opinions on P4P ratings. Proof in point: Guerrero’s skills did not diminish because he lost to Mayweather, nor did his accomplishments that he achieved prior to fighting Maywether. Yet, Boxtra$$wipe jumps on the opportunity to prove that Pac fights “#0 P4P” opponents, and is now criticizing Guerrero as such in order to minimize him as a quality opponent for Pacquiao.
My, my. Before fighting Mayweather Boxtra$$wipe went on and on about why Guerrero deserved the fight with Floyd. Well, how did Robert all of a sudden become so terrible just because he lost to Floyd? Ummm, P4P ratings said so–asenine reasoning.
Oh, and now Guerrero is a hand-me-down? He hasn’t fought once since he lost to Mayweather but now Boxtra$$wipe has totally changed his opinion about Robert Guerrero. Here’s more proof that P4P ratings aren’t worth a damn–just as Boxtra$$wipe’s opinions aren’t.
If this fight happens, Manny will likely dominate Robert and he’ll probably mark him up a helluva lot more than Mayweather did. But when that happens fools like Boxtra$$wipe will claim that the reason for that is because Mayweather hurt his hand when he fought Robert and also because Pacquiao is fighting an opponent who is coming off a loss. Idiotic reasoning at its best.
LMAO! According to Boxtra$$wipe, the great Robert Guerrero was a fantastic fighter before fighting Floyd but now he isn’t simply because he’s fighting Manny Pacquiao. According to Boxtra$$wipe. The guy who incorrectly predicted the outcome of at least five major fights last year. The guy who claims he is the “greatest of all time” boxing prophet.
Well yeah, we know. He is the greatest of all time. LOSER!Posted January 10, 2014 10:09 am

big mistake pac would lose against guerrerro im y opinion its a dangerous fight for pac hed rather take on bradley for a rematch & im sure he will beat bradley convincingly even in the eyes of the judges, guerrerro much tougher fight than bradley , guerrero has a tough chin , long reach & tall & has a powerfull left hand where bradley is feather fisted & less experienced.Posted January 10, 2014 9:49 am

ROTF… dudes are effing hilarious Pac completely dominated Bradley. Pac cant deal with slick boxers who move Pac was missing a lot lmao. Bradley missed everything he through at Pac until the 11th round ROTF… That was one of Pacs best defensive performances Bradley couldnt touch him Bradley only landed 19 percent wow. Pac would feint get Bradley to duck then when Bradley bounced back up boom straight left by Pac. That $ hit worked over and over ha ha. He stunned Bradley hard 3 or 4 times and had him falling all over himself trust me Pac haters no ones listening to your backwards a $$ thoughts in Pac v Bradley 1.Posted January 10, 2014 8:12 am

No fighter in history has earned an easy fight and floyd def doesn’t deserve to be the firstPosted January 10, 2014 4:06 am
By the way Mayweather was CORRECT. Top Rank is still trying to sell Fights based off of Mayweather’s name. At least Roach is MAN enough to admit it. They think its more marketable to face a guy that Mayweather fought then to face the 3rd rated guy in the Sport because Mayweather’s name being involved in the promotion is BETTER than Pacquiao’s name + somebody else’s….The whole promotion is going to be centered around “we’re going to beat him worse than Mayweather DID” because they know that will make more people tune IN than saying “watch Pacquiao beat the 3rd BEST Fighter in the World”Posted January 10, 2014 3:30 am

I predicted all along that Pacquiao would not take on #3 P4P Bradley. His rating is TOO high for Team Pac. Team Pac prefers #0 P4P opponents unless its Mayweather which is similar to hitting the lotto. OH he wants Marquez TOO but I bet he won’t go for that knockout again IF he got that Fight. Pacquiao is 0 for 2 in his last 2 Fights vs Top 10 P4P opponents. Thats why they want Guerrero. They love taking on opponents that Floyd already knocked off the P4P list.Posted January 10, 2014 3:22 am
Manny clearly is ducking Bradley. Of course they would want to fight Guerro not only is he coming off a huge loss he has been inactive for too long. Manny only beats guy who are coming off a loss or has weight issues. Case in point Rios. Roach knows Manny is done, And obviously they have no options. Arum is a crooked pathetic bastard he looks for guys who have nothing and exploit then Guerrero must be thinking of signing with top rape of maybe he already has. Look for Manny to side step Bradley make some lame ass excuse for not fighting him then pick a bum to fight to try and look good, Arum continues to underestimate the minds of the public who pay to see these fight and the people have spoken Mannys ppv sale go lower with each fight. Like i said before he is irrelevant. And ESB keeps posting this nonsense. Manny dont want to see no parts of Bradley they are just hoping they can fight enough Bums to make Manny look good and get the public to create a buzz to somehow pressure Floyd into a fight so that they can get a big pay day. Because right now they are getting nothing money wise from Manny….Posted January 10, 2014 3:21 am
I don’t know what to think about this but it stinks. Looks like somebody has already been talking behind the scenes. I smell snakes.Posted January 10, 2014 3:19 am
Floyd Mayweather is simply and clearly afraid of Manny Pacquiao. He first started with the Ped accusations. He was sued, paid big money and left that alone. Since then he has came up with excuse after excuse and now sees the opportunity to use Arum as the crutch. Manny clearly stated on ESPN that he would agree to all Floyd’s demands and accept the lesser percentage. Floyd as usual never responded. There’s no hiding the fact that Floyd is scared. He then begins babbling recently about how much he offered Manny before blah, blah, blah. Who cares? Stop using Arum as your excuse because the boxing world doesn’t believe you any more. How can one man (Arum) have so much power over a man that says he’s his own boss and makes his own decisions (Mayweather). Seems like Floyd doesn’t have the power he thinks or boasts that he has. Trust me, if Floyd wanted to make this fight happen, he would. Floyd fans have to stop believing Floyd’s lies and contradictions. It’s really not about money because Floyd has more than enough to last him and his family a life time. It’s all about a man named Manny Pacquiao that struck fear in the hearts of the Mayweathers ever since he came on the scene. Look at the trail of excuses, accusations and running Floyd has done. Floyd Mayweather is now the joke of the boxing world. He carries no credibility. He’s mocked by just about everyone including his peers. All of this because Manny Pacquiao, arguably the greatest fighter of all time and the most exciting of all time continues to chase Floyd at every corner. Manny’s name rises as Floyd’s name falls in the eyes of sports fans all over the world.Posted January 10, 2014 3:12 am
There’s a reason that Pacquiao and Roach aren’t running to fight Bradley other than money. No matter what all of the Pacquiao fans say it was a close fight, that I feel Bradley won. As each of us have our own opinion mine differs from most people. The fight with bradley is not a easy fight for Pacquiao, therefore it is not a fight that Team Pacquiao is eager to take again.Posted January 10, 2014 2:36 am
The fight should be with Bradley, who has the belt? Bradley who beat Marquez Bradley, roach and arum have there head in there butts, also in sparring letting the oponate punch manny when holding is wrong. How do you think Bradley won, holding and tapping 5-8 times on each hold. Sparring holding and punching should be defensive stopped, as that counted in fights, got that roach?Posted January 10, 2014 2:05 am

you cant get anything objective from a nuthugger like peej or tumbo who keeps putting asterisk next to pax name to try and smear the guy with unfounded accusations of ped use. these cats ate blinded by their nut huggery and any and all objectivity went out the window. to the plethora of mayweather excuses tumbo simply responds “pac should accept anything and work on his marketability” now this is a flaw in boxing and wor onto any “boxing fan” that perpetuates. that is…..
this is a fight sport where real “fans” wanna see and should expect the best fights being made no the most ” marketable” thats why the promoter and alphabet soup sanctioning bodies based system boxing employs is garbage. dana whites system is far superior because it gets fans the best fights available consistently and often. when u have supposed boxing fans talking like tumbos nuthuggery saying marketability and discussing money i question the veracity of any of these cats claims to be “boxing fans”. its like saying nfl teams should not have to play the jaguars or the titans because they have no marketability. in terms of the fight game as far as fans are considered marketability and numbers mean nothing. just make the best fights. anyone saying anything else is a fan o marketability, numbers, and money not boxing. so there probably floyd nuthuggers who futilely try to deffend mayweather.Posted January 10, 2014 2:01 am
Pacquiao won mostly every round against Bradley — even the rounds that Bradley won weren’t even impactful. One major reason why Bradley lost was because he could not headbutt Pacquiao who adapted his fighting style to avoid Bradley charging forward with his head in a ram-style, bull-goring fashion.Posted January 10, 2014 1:57 am
It’s like a soap opera in here. Gbp will probably now release him and really make the fight with Mayweather big after Pac dismantles Guerrero.Posted January 10, 2014 1:54 am

I think it’d be a good fight due to Guereros grabbing, or should I say clinching tactics, and Pacs unbalanced aggressive style! Guerrero still has a contract dispute! How is this fight gonna come off??!! If Guerrero is freed from his contract – with Team-Pac* giving him a shot – then Arum should FREE Pac* from his – for Pac* to get that payday!!Posted January 10, 2014 12:43 am

Pacquiao in my opinion has unfinished business with Bradley . If pacquiao can beat Bradley decisively it will get him closer to a mayweather fight. Bradley is currently #3 on the P4P list so a victory over him would raise pacquiaos status. If pacquiao loses then you can forget about a mayweather fight.Posted January 10, 2014 12:32 am
