chin is a chin is a chin. chin will not lie. pulev-wlad 2014! don’t bet the house on wlad on this one.Posted January 17, 2014 10:40 am
Kubrat Pulev doesn’t do anything special. He’s no KO puncher at top level or a master boxer, just a strong solid all-rounder. He won’t beat Wladimir who is bigger, stronger, hits harder and is much more experienced. This Wladimir is better than he was ten years ago.Posted January 16, 2014 4:43 pm
pulev shoots a short left hook and wlad does the clown face. wlad-pulev 2014!Posted January 16, 2014 3:05 pm

Get this one in the bag, then on to Pulev for the summer. Pulev/Wlad is going to be a good one. I think Wlad may get cut in that fight with Pulev. But it will wake him up and he will KO Pulev like he did to Brock. Right hook to the upper temple and down goes Pulev, down goes Pulev.Posted January 16, 2014 1:22 pm
lip eye will get killed. pay close attention to what wlad says and bet on that round.Posted January 16, 2014 10:51 am
The Klitschko haters are blaming Wlad for fighting a soft opponent but it is not his fault. This is a mandatory defense.Put the blame where it belongs,on the corrupt WBO.Alex Leapai is a very exciting boxer at the club level but nowhere near a world class fighter.Posted January 16, 2014 9:47 am
Right FA; Pulev should be next because he’s the mandatory for Vlad’s other belt.Posted January 16, 2014 7:13 am
pulev will adjust and destroy huggy bear wlad.Posted January 16, 2014 4:46 am
I cannot help but comment: What the heck does Golovkin have to do with Wladimir Klitschko fighting Alex Leapai?! Answer: NOTHING! Wladimir’s age of 38 will NOT be a factor and he will KO Leapai VEEY quickly.Posted January 15, 2014 11:41 pm
“Surely Pulev, Fury, Perez etc are more deserving of a shot than Lepai?” – Agreed. Problem is Perez has the mandatory shot at the WBC belt so he’s off. Fury’s been on the shelf. Pulev is probably next after Leapai who lucked into the mandatory shot because Boytsov blew it.Posted January 15, 2014 7:35 pm
Surely Pulev, Fury, Perez etc are more deserving of a shot than Lepai? A man who was KO’d by Kevin Johnson not long ago, the same Johnson who was easily beaten by both Fury and the Romanian Christian Hammer.Posted January 15, 2014 7:22 pm
I mean, Wlad will punish Kubrat, by a wide margin with some knockdowns, but Pulev will manage to finish the fight. Only well beaten.Posted January 15, 2014 6:39 pm
Wlad W12 Kubrat by a distance.Posted January 15, 2014 6:34 pm
when huggy wlad hugs pulev, the cobra will bit him with his left. wlad will do the brewster funny face.Posted January 15, 2014 5:00 pm
Huck: The left is going to hurt Pulev and the right is going to TKO him. Wlad does not go down in this fight. He may get cut, but he does not go down. Pulev goes down with the duck walk. He will be on Queer Street!!Posted January 15, 2014 4:22 pm

largo, silly boy.Posted January 15, 2014 3:06 pm
The K brothers aren’t great, how could they be if they haven’t had great opposition? of course it’s not their fault but don’t tell me they’re great…they have fought nobody, except for Lennox & they lost that one.Posted January 15, 2014 2:58 pm
Pulev is a nearly huge guy and is going to be TKO’d by Wladimir when they meet in summer 2014.
Good and irrefutable points on the K-Bros by Tark. You cannot argue with the stats on the record.Posted January 15, 2014 2:42 pm
Pulev has no movement and is easy to hit. He has a good jab and some size but lacks heavy punch. Wlad will TKO him easy after 7 rounds. Easy to hit and Wlad will t-off on him. TKO Klitschko.Posted January 15, 2014 2:36 pm
pulev will knock down wlad too. it will be a fight.Posted January 15, 2014 1:43 pm
Wlad TKO Leapai in 5 rounds. Wlad will UD Pulev, 120-110 x 3 maybe, knocking down Pulev a couple of times at least.Posted January 15, 2014 1:25 pm
how many times did wlad get KO’ed?Posted January 15, 2014 1:16 pm

TARK said it right all there. The Klitschko boys have dominated the division. And of the fighters out there now Wladiimir hasn’t faced, I would like to see WK take on Kubrat Pulev, Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder. Pulev is strong, well-schooled and unbeaten, Fury is a showman who talks quite a lot, but is big, tough and unbeaten and Wilder is also a big man, a dangerous KO puncher and unbeaten. Wlad should be looking at a couple of these guys after he’s taken care of the Leapai fight.Posted January 15, 2014 10:58 am
“It is always good to successfully defend your titles, but for world class champions, it’s the formidable rivalry that makes up and solidifies one’s resume.” If you don’t like the man (like many others do, its ok), just say it, don’t beat around the bush pretending to be unbiased… sheesh…Posted January 15, 2014 10:27 am

I think there is far better competion for waldamir to face. The only man who I can see beating him is Wilder but I would only give him a 10% chance, for everybody else’s Wald will utterly dominate in his usual fashion as the only tactic any one has is landing that big shot which waldaimir knows how to overcome time and time again. Wilder has the height and certainly the power to end waldamihar but even with that its unlikely that would happen. Leapai fight is utterly pointless as boystov was supposed to be the lamb for the slaughter but leapai beat him easily, but leapai at best can go six rounds all depends on how Wald feels on the night.Posted January 15, 2014 9:40 am

Adamek was a 2-Division world Champion with a 44-1 record… He had beaten title challengers Chris Arreola and Michael Grant when Vitali became the only fighter in history to stop him.
Sam Peter was a World Heavyweight Champion with a 30-1 record… losing only to Wladimir Klitschko on points… when Vitali slaughtered him in 7… Peter KO’d Oleg Maskaev a puncher who KO’d a prime Hasim Rahman — the same Rahman who KO’d Lennox Lewis.
Juan Carlos Gomez was 44-1 and a former World Champion when Vitali stopped him…
Chris Arreola was an undefeated number one contender when Vitali stopped him.
That’s over a dozen great challengers the K Bros obliterated.
Chris Byrd was a Heavyweight Champion who Wladimir beat every round in 2 fights… Byrd, a super slick boxer, was easily boxed to death by Wladimir.
Former Heavyweight Champion Lamon Brewster was easily beaten by Wladimir Klitschko… and quit in his corner in their rematch of a fight where it seemed Wladimir was drugged.
Hasim Rahman, who knocked Lennox Lewis out, was easily beaten every round and stopped by Wladimir.
Corrie Sanders was a 39-2 Heavyweight Champion when Vitali stopped him.
David Haye was a 27-1 Heavyweight Champion when Wladimir Klitschko beat him without trying.
Eddie Chambers was a 35-1 number one contender when Wladimir beat him.
Calvin Brock was an undefeated Heavyweight Contender at 27-0 when Wladimir stopped him..
Shannon Briggs was a 2-time Heavyweight Champion, and years younger than Vitali, when Vitali white-washed him.
Alexander Povetkin was a 26-0 Heavyweight Champion who had never been knocked down… A 37-year-old Wladimir knocked him down 4 times and dominated him every round of 12.
Lennox Lewis was Heavyweight Champion when he was behind on points on all scorecards the entire way in his fight with Vitali Klitschko. The fight should have gone to the scorecards and Vitali should have won — because Vitali out-scored Lewis but was cut with illegal blows.Posted January 15, 2014 3:50 am
Who have these K brothers beat that deserves any mention, of any serious kind, anywhere, as being Anybody worth anything, in any serious list???…that’s the question that begs an answer & the answer to that question is what I’ve been looking for from the K brothers fans; BS won’t do…Posted January 15, 2014 2:55 am
Largo’s mouth is huge and is definitely irrelevant in history.Posted January 15, 2014 2:37 am
Michael Grant was huge… He couldn’t beat Adamek at 38… Vitali beat Adamek at 40 every minute of every round and stopped him… Derrick Jefferson was huge.. Couldn’t go 2 rounds with Wladimir.. Ray Austin was huge.. Couldn’t go 2 rounds with Wladimir.. Big Time McCline was huge.. Couldn’t stay the course with Wladimir.. Mariusz Wach is huge.. Couldn’t win a round from Wladimir… Alexander Dimitrenko was huge… Couldn’t beat Chambers… Nic Valuev was 7′ X 330 … Couldn’t beat David Haye.
So I guess the Klitschkos have something more than HUGE going for them.Posted January 15, 2014 2:26 am

“Fighting against mediocre opposition his whole life” would be more appropriate…the K brother’s are not only mediocre themselves but highly selfish & insecure; they have beaten NOBODY & the only HOFamer they fought was a totally disinterested & out of shape Lennox who almost took one of the brothers eyes outta his socket. The only claim, I see, to fame for these two giants, it’s to be bigger than everybody else & to have fought nobodies & when they fought somebody half decent they got beat-Wlad several times & Vlad Vs Lennox- so, These pair to me, are the less accomplished HW champions in history.Posted January 15, 2014 1:50 am
Vlad will knock Leapai out. Leapai becoming a mandatory is not Vlad’s fault. He just fought Povetkin who was #1, had been trying to fight him for years.
The ones who cut Vitali and Vlad down all the time claim that Wilder is the greatest heavyweight of all time. Wilder somehow got a ranking of #3 WBC without ever fighting anyone ranked at all. If Wilder had the title it would have to be given to him for not fighting anyone, then he would continue to fight unranked boxers like Sconiers, probably rematch Sconiers, but Sconiers did hurt Wilder. Haye made Wilder look drunk in sparring and Vlad knocked Wilder down with a left Jab, beat Wilder from post to post. All these Americans who are claiming that Wilder is the top heavyweight in the world are blind and ignorant……..Vlad has fought much better opponents than Wilder has by far, yet Americans still claim that Wilder is the fastest fighter ever, hardest puncher, fought better competition than any heavyweight in boxing history, etc., yes, they worship Wilder……….Posted January 15, 2014 1:26 am
Rest in peace Sanders and thanks for one hell of an upset in boxing…..God bless him

His caliber of opponents just gets worse and worse. In 2 – 3 years Wladimir will get just get bored and then he’ll run into a Grade B fighter that’ll knock him on his ass a la Corrie Sanders.

this is an example of boxing politics screwing up boxing. The WBC has had the #1 contender on the shelf for a year and a half waiting on a title shot. In the meantime, Wladdy has been fighting tomato cans. Im tired of these so called contenders not fighting each other. There aren't enough good heavies for anybody to be ducking anybody but they don't want to mess up their chance at a HW belt by losing. Hell, if beating a bum like Botysov can get u a shot, why fight Wilder or Fury or Jennings or Stiverne or Chisora or anybody that could beat you.Posted January 14, 2014 11:04 pm
I would complain more about the opponent more if I thought there was someone who deserved a shot and hadn’t already fought Wladimir. His next fight, the winner of Arreola and Stiverne, won’t be much more thana speed bump as well. As Tark just said, at this age some underdog will eventually take him down. Don’t see it happening here, this guy was knocked out by Kevin Johnson. Not exactly a power puncher there. 3 rounds, maybe he can fight another mandatory on the same night.Posted January 14, 2014 10:57 pm
Another dire matchupPosted January 14, 2014 10:26 pm
Wladimir will be 38… It will be his 23rd win in 25 World Title Fights. Those are the only things significant about the fight.
Ali and Holmes were whipped by the time they were Wladimir’s age — and by huge underdogs. You never know what an underdog will do when you’re 38. Wladimir might try to end this fight with a liver shot. He was asking GGG about his body shots at the Golden Globes. Nobody every says Golovkin is a boring fighter.
It’s a little late for Wladimir to develop that spectacular technique because it take years of refinement to blow people away with the shot… but Golovkin has the best left hook to the body I’ve ever seen.Posted January 14, 2014 10:02 pm

You have to give lots of credit to Wladimir Klitschko regardless of opinion.
All other weight classes there are 3-4 champions and that is too many and to few fighters who fight for unifications nowdays becouse of either money or political crap. Wilder, Pulev, Stiverne, Perez, Arreola,
Wladimir Klitschko haves 16 world title defences under his belt now and still counting, he fights the best opponents who dares face him.Posted January 14, 2014 8:37 pm
