PricelessPosted January 21, 2014 6:28 pm
How can you box with the flu….that would suck so I can give the guy a pass and move forward to see if he has the skills and dedication.Posted January 21, 2014 4:56 pm
Oh, Peterson and Jean will be fighting on Showtime.
I like Garcia over Burgos but I do believe Burgos has the ability to upset Mikey. Jennings over Szpilka by decision.
The Peterson/Jean fight is a tough one for me because I haven’t followed Jean’s career very closely. Jean thinks Peterson has a suspect chin and he plans to capitalize on his feeling that Peterson will be lacking some confidence after getting hammered by Matthysse. I’ll still go with Peterson, however. It should be a close fight.Posted January 21, 2014 2:10 pm
“Just for grins, who do you have this weekend on both cards on HBO and Showtime?”
Joseph, who’s fighting besides Garcia/Burgos and Jennings/Szpilka?Posted January 21, 2014 2:01 pm

LMAO, Joseph, I’m still laughing. I used to be very high on the Showtime commentators/analysts, but for the past several years I think they really comment with biased points of view. They pick a favorite, then go on and one about him even when he’s not doing that good of a job.
Luis, was a machine. He was a windmill. He hurt Redkach on several occasions. He exposed a number of Redkach’s defensive weaknesses. Redkach is a fine technical boxer, but he needs to fight from a distance. Imagine if Redkach was a welterweight facing Maidana. I don’t think Ivan would have lasted four rounds.
Anyways, yeah. Thanks, “Steve.” LMAO!Posted January 20, 2014 5:50 pm
