tha 1.. 2..

I keep seeing manny say “i was just to compasionate.. or I need to put on more gas.” wasn’t this what ODLH sounded like after mayweather and all through the 24/7 for pac? Bradley may be right about him. Oh and if you watch him on the pads with roach, he practices no defence. He expects to blitz his opponent and calls it running if the guy doesn’t stand there like a punching bag (or roach). Bradley’s going to move, but he will be there to land shots on Manny too. Manny better be ready for that 12 hard rounds.

Hey Bradley, there is NO DOUBT that you lose the first time so no need to prove anything. You are making a fool out of yourself, I even like you for your hard work in the ring but please stop that, saying you win the first time. Get out of here.

BLUESMAN my friend, thank you for the kind words. I do enjoy writing about boxing. Manny Pacquiao is such a great story, and of course he’s my favorite fighter so it’s easy write. Who knows, maybe in the future, but for now, I’ll continue having a good time just writing even though some people think I’m nuts.

Well hecky doggie….Floyd his holding a title at 154 which he has yet to defend, so technically, he has a better shot against GGG than Pac who has never fought at 154. But I’m sure floyd prefers to get stripped so as not to be embarrassed when one of the other 154 champions challenge him. That’s his MO lately.

I predict that because Pac took it light on Bradley last time, he will release his “frustrations” on Bradley and send him to the hospital after the fight. Hopefully Bradley doesn’t follow in the same foot steps of a fighter this past weekend who didn’t make it out of the hospital alive.

This is the stupidity of EIGHT DIVISION TITLES. One is at 154! Yet everyone says GGG is too big for Manny. GGG said he would fight Manny and Floyd at 154! Why is Manny not a coward and Floyd is when it comes to GGG? The hypocrisy of Pactards is laughable.

I think Auzbox said it best, the Pactards are a fourth world people at the bottom of the asian ladder living in slime and filth.

Manny Pacquiao has proven over and over that he can deal with adversity inside and outside the boxing ring. He handled the robbery decision that was awarded to his next opponent,Timothy Bradley with class. He never complained or cried. Manny is a sportsman and gentlemen. Prize Fighting seems like something Manny Pacquiao would never be a part of because of his humble personality. He is has a Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hide personality. A fierce, fearless warrior inside the squared circle and a harmless kitten in his personal life. Manny Pacquiao would have fit perfectly in any boxing era. Before the Marquess Of Queensberry Rules were created in 1867, fights happened regardless weights, divisions, number of rounds and no written rules. This was man against man. The toughest of the toughest fought until the end. Manny Pacquiao would have dominated this type of fighting. He has the heart of a lion that keeps fighting until the end. Today, he abides by all the rules, and still dominates his opponents. Manny Pacquiao is a an iconic cultural institution by himself. His boxing skills, technique and strategies are complex and poetic. No one has his fighting style that leaves his opposition perplexed and dumbfounded. As we see the list of victims he has dispatched over his his illustrious career, the word that comes to mind is greatness. Throughout the history of boxing, there have been great fighters like Louis, Johnson, Robinson, Armstrong, Duran, Leonard, Holmes, Ali, Chavez, Lopez, Sanchez and Hagler, but none have ever accomplished what Manny Pacquiao has. 8 division world titles. This is a record that will never be broken. Regardless of what Manny accomplishes from this day on, he has done more than any other boxer in history. There are no comparisons to be made. On April 12, Manny Pacquiao will toss his hat into the ring as men did when they wanted to challenge a fighter years ago.. A group of men would gather in a circle and hold a ring of rope. The challenger would then throw his hat inside the ring. The fight would then take place inside the ring, but as the crowd grew, ropes had to be held onto four stakes that were put into the ground. Hence the boxing ring. Manny Pacquiao will enter the boxing ring, and win the title that should have never been stolen from him. Timothy Bradley must and will return th stolen property to it’s rightful owner. Manny is the best!

Peej: Bradley is not a boxer he is a brawler and even if Bradley go boxing on Pacman it will not make any difference. Tell me a boxer who beat manny? Don’t say Bradley cause everybody knows he got a gift from the judges. Manny is an offensive fighter who has a good defense. Maybe you are thinking of Rigo vs. Donaire. Rigo is a boxer and Donaire is a counter puncher like Marquez. Who waits and counter to be able to hit. Manny don’t wait, he initiate the action first and with his speed there is no way a boxer can open up and box cause he will get hit with a fast punching from Pacman.

TARK, those improvement”S” you cite won’t be effective v. a Bradley whose got quick fists of his own, solid footwork, and a formidable chin and jaw. without an effective jab or defense, Pacquiao* figures to be outscored v. a forewarned and 100% Bradley. moreover, not unlike Marquez, Bradley is simply a smarter fighter. Pacquiao* is as dense as a chunk of broken concrete.

Posted February 3, 2014 9:37 pm

te tumbo

“Great champs adapt come back and dominate . . .” NOT so “Simple”. at least not for Pacquiao* who escaped with a gift-decision v. Marquez only to come back, intensify the execution of his previous fight-plan, and was KTFO like no fighter has ever been KTFO in boxing history. moral of the story? Pacquiao* is NOT a great champ. he only looks great v. good fighters. he consistently loses or underwhelms v. the best.

Posted February 3, 2014 9:35 pm

TARK. 5 judges sat and rewatched because it was ordered by the WBO. And all 5 judges gave it to PAC. Any person that thinks any different is just bias. PAC landed 94 punches and only fought a minute a round. Imagine if he keeps busy

te tumbo….., “The only improvement Pacquiao* is capable of applying in a rematch v. Bradley is amping-up-the-pressure.”

The improvements (with and s) that Pac made for the Rios fight were to stay busier, have sharper and quicker footwork, and deploy better defensive skills… MP ramped up his activity level, footwork, and defense quite a bit … He did too much waiting in the 1st Bradley fight, his feet were stuck in the mud … and he didn’t focus enough on defense. He expected to roll through Tim like he wasn’t there.

Most people thought he clearly won the fight, but he could have notched it up a whole lot in those areas. That will be his focus.

And I expect Bradley to be much better too. There’s a lot at stake.

Posted February 3, 2014 8:57 pm

Auzbox

Fights how he fights rios he beats him easy it’s quite simple. Keep busy and win. Bradley hasn’t changed at all. Throws 100 pillows in hope that’s all Bradley does. Manny outlanded him in their last fight easy and any who disagree check compubox stats. So if he boxed for 1 minute and outlanded him by 94 imagine if he boxes for 2

Posted February 3, 2014 8:55 pm

te tumbo

Morales did convincingly outbox and outpunch a Pacquiao* with all of the promotional momentum behind and who was being set up for a prominent win. otherwise, it was a convincing 8-3-1 win for Morales. Pacquiao* edged-out a couple of rounds in his favor but he mostly held his own and avoided being steamrolled by an already faded but fiercely-determined Morales who resented being handpicked for a loss following aNother flat-performance and loss v. arch-rival Barrera.

Posted February 3, 2014 8:51 pm

te tumbo

the only improvement Pacquiao* is capable of applying in a rematch v. Bradley is amping-up-the-pressure, which is risky considering his own porous defense. not because Bradley is likely to KO Pacquiao* but because he is at least capable of causing cuts and we all know how Pacquiao* despairs at the sight of his own blood. Pacquiao’s* only option is to KO Bradley. otherwise, he simply lacks the pure boxing skills to convincingly outpoint Bradley. a boxing Pacquiao* is a passive Pacquiao*. if he’s not powerpunching, he blends into the background. if he attempts to powerpunch his way through the indomitable Bradley, he flirts with the losing scenario that has Bradley outboxing and outpointing Pacquiao* for a scorecard win, which is what i anticipate will unfold in their rematch.

Pacman is going to school Bradley in this fight. Bradley cannot handle constant pressure, we seen it when he fought Pac in the first fight. I don´t know what was wrong with Pacman in that fight but on a few occasions he should have kept the pressure up and it would have been all over. If he trains correctly and his fitness is 100% then Bradley won´t go 7rounds with him. He doesn´t have much of a chin either. He can take a punch but he looks like he is out on his feet on numerous occasions and takes a long time to recover. Good luck Bradley you are going to need it.

The legendary Manny Pacquiao has returned to fight the man that was given a decision victory that undoubtedly will go down in the history books as the worst ever. Both have taken different paths since that fight, but destiny has brought them together once again. This will be a great fight that fans will love. Both have a lot to lose, and much to gain with a clear cut victory. Bradley is as tough as they come, and his recent fights with Provodnikov and Marquez show his fighting spirit, mental toughness and the will to win. Bradley was the only fighter that chose to fight Manny Pacquiao again. Floyd Mayweather and Juan Manuel Marquez wanted no part of Manny. They are fearful of what could happen to them. Manny does that to fighters. On April 12, Manny Pacquiao will treat boxing fans around the world to an explosive, spectacular, dominating performance that will be remembered for years to come. Timothy Bradley will be punished worse than Provodnikov punished him. Manny will consistently and continually land that straight left cross on Timothy’s chin all night. The jab will be a key to landing the big punch on Bradley. Manny will need to pressure Bradley enough to land that left hand at the correct distance. Bradley likes to step back out of distance, which minimizes the impact. Manny has to also use that right hook more. Again this will open up room for the straight left. Eventually, they are both going to trade, and Manny has much more power than Bradley. This will be a good tough fight until the end, which should be between rounds 4-9. Manny Pacquiao will win his title back and there will be no question as to who is the P4P best in the world. Great fighters like Duran, Sugar Ray Leonard and Manny Pacquiao always find a way to come back after a loss. These are special fighters that seemingly to 9 lives like a cat. They turn back the hands of time and leave everyone in awe. Manny Pacquiao will get his second win and knock out Timothy Bradley. This is a man that will make his own destiny. Boxing will always equate Manny Pacquiao to greatness. His boxing skills will be studied for a long, long time. His heart can never be measured. Manny Pacquiao has returned to his rightful place as the King Of The Ring. Manny is the best.

Decision

When you believe that Pacquiao 2014 is the same as Pacquiao 2009, clearly you think that Bradley will get a beating,

But that premise is wrong …

Pacman is not the same although great, Bradley will win against Manny 9 out of 10 times, unless Arum dictates the winner.

I believe that Arum will dictate the winner 10 times out of 10, so there you have it = It’s all about money, Bradley can’t puææ audience, Pacman can.

This is not new to boxing, it is the rule, right.

By the way, Manny is superior to Bradley in his prime ……

@PEEJ, You are right, but Pac has beaten quite a few boxers including Morales, ODH and Marquez twice. It will be competitive, but I believe that Pac will beat Bradley up worse than Provo did….we shall see.

Posted February 3, 2014 12:32 pm

Happyboy

Peej – casual fans don’t know the difference between brawlers and boxers. Pac has been matched most against brawlers. Morales boxed his ears off in theur first fight and Bradley was supposedly beat up yet came end of the fight, his face was clear of bruises as one udually sees in fighters vs Pacman

Posted February 3, 2014 11:18 am

PEEJ

Bradley is gonna cause some serious problems for Pac. Pac doesn’t do well against boxers. He looks good against come forward brawling fighters but looks bad against boxers. Bradley had an injured foot or ankle against Pac the first time. All Bradley does is just win, I think he comes out on top with a decision. If this is a close fight and Pac pulls it off, look for a rubber match.

Posted February 3, 2014 11:03 am

Floyd’s issue

@ Floyds Mama; you are hilarious, could not agree more!
Pac will beat Bradley the next time. Bradley is good but he got away with lucky decisions one times too many. He does not have the same class, being special, as Pac has. It will show this time, no doubt. Dwyer, you will be proven wrong! Can’t wait for your post-fight video apologizing that you couldn’t have been more wrong…

Bradley’s advantage is that he knows how to find a way to win better than Manny, even if it means taking a few tricks from the Bernard Hopkins book of spoiling. Manny’s advantage is and has always been his speed and activity, he only brought one of those to the last fight and it cost him, if Manny allows Bradley’s style which ever one he employs to dictate the pace of this fight then he will lose, but if he throws non stop for 12 rounds like we doing to Marquez in the last fight before getting careless he wins easily.

The legendary Manny “Pac Man” Pacquiao will beat Timothy Bradley in a manner that will seem inhuman. Bradley made the biggest mistake of his life by signing that contract. In Manny Pacquiao, he will be facing the most destructive, offensive fighter of all times. Floyd ran, Marquez ran, but Bradley took the bait. Manny Pacquiao has waited a long time to reverse the worst decision in the history of boxing. Remember Bradley saying he had to see the replay to know if he really won. Remember Bradley coming out in crutches, and then a few minutes later rolling out on a wheelchair. Bradley knew he lost and he was granted a gift decision by a bunch of blind judges. Come April 12, 2014, Manny Pacquiao will be 150% motivated emotionally, spiritually and physically. He is currently in Los Angeles for the two city tour (LA/NY). We will get the chance to see the legend fight a very offensive fight against Bradley, and I guarantee you, Timothy Bradley will be stopped in brutal fashion before 9 rounds. Please keep the women and children away from the tv if you’re getting the fight. Bradley will be brutalized for as long as the fight lasts. Manny Pacquiao is coming off one of the most sensational and technical boxing matches of all time. He dissected Brandon Rios in every aspect of boxing. Manny’s ring generalship and pin point accuracy on that night will never be duplicated. On April 12, the world will will be waiting with anticipation to see the only 8 time division boxing champion in history make his entrance to the ring. The silent killer smile, the tree trunk calves and the eyes of an assassin will encompass Manny Pacquiao as he makes his ring walk to a thunderous ovation inside the MGM Grand. Las Vegas hands itself over to Manny each and every time he comes to fight in the city. People love this man. The President of his country comes out to see him. Crime stops all over the world. Wars take a break. Manny becomes larger than life. After he defeats Bradley, this world will be a better place. Manny Pacquiao should be admired for coming back after the tough times in his life both inside and outside of the boxing ring. He is back. Let’s celebrate the legend’s return. Manny is the best!.

TARK

Largo… “Bradley stops Pacquiao.”

I don’t see that… If Bradley wins it will be because of massive activity… a very busy left hand… speedy footwork… and his defense has to be as good as the Seattle Seahawks’ defense… Could he pull that off???

He’s going to try.. He had massive focus in the Marquez fight, and he’ll have to up the intensity against Pacquiao. Bradley knows he still hasn’t fought his best fight — and Pacquiao has probably already fought his best fight. Tim has a 5-year age advantage.

It may come down to who the judges are again.. Sometimes it’s not smart to bet on a fight until after they announce the judges.. But if they select 3 knowledgeable, alert, intelligent, and eagle eyed judges, who have a strong history of marking up correct scorecards … I believe Pacquiao will win.

WHAT!?!

I’m thinking that Pacquiao is going to make an example of Bradley in this one. The problem is that Bradley is a very tough guy and it could do him a lot of damage staying upright for longer than he should before Pacquiao actually KO’s him.

Pac was at the losing end of the most horrific KO ever seen in the whole history of Boxing…The human brain learns to respond a certain way to different stimuli; Once Bradley cracks Pac’s jaw-& he will-with an enough hard shot, Pac’s brain will order him to take a nap…& Manny will have to oblige. Little Tim by stoppage…

Mike Tyson.

I would not rule out a right hand that will drop Bradley as the same after he does his combination Bradley drop his left. In fact I will say this will happen in the fight. One drop down. Prov the Russian found this out at the end.

“Pacquiao will KO Bradley this time, I think.”…Think again, because that ain’ happening; nobody KO an elite fighter like Tim, NOBODY. I repeat, Bradley by stoppage.

Mike Tyson.

Bradley got good feet this fight he will punch and hold.manny got to tie up his hands or he do the tap to the body and 5-8 times each time they hold. These are counted as points PAC can’t not allow this, hold his arm or push him away.

Mike Tyson.

Close fight,..”…….
If roach has studied Bradley in his last two fight, Bradley is open for right hands, not left Bradley is now fighting more as Floyd and Martinez with the left hand very low, when he get close, manny shot right hands leads follow with the left, or he keep bringing up the left in your face all night. You can’t see the left, same as Floyd .
