Boy, don’t Floyd fans feel secretly stupid for defending this phony?

Floyd doesn’t want to fight anyone good. He won’t fight Lara, Garcia, or Pacquiao.

They all have a fair chance to beat him and Floyd knows they are special winners—who perpare and get up for special fights.

All Floyd has to say is “I will wait for Pacman to cut ties with Top Prank the our fight is on”…. Blantantely go on ESPN, do a 1hr special like Lebron did and make that annoucement.. Seriously..

litttle floyd doesn’t get to pick Pacquiao’s promoter. Pacquiao’s promoter has nothing to do with it. This is just the latest chicken chit excuse from little floyd. Believe it if you want, but it’s BS, just like all of his lame excuses.
floyd wants to stay on his feet, and the best way to do that is to not get into the ring with Pacquiao.

“Morales wasn’t faded… Pacquiao faded him”. he certainly Was. from this first fight at 130lbs to his second loss v. Barrera, which was only redeemed by his convincing “W” over Pacquiao*, which is the ONLY great performance of Morales’ 130lb career. otherwise, he looked consistently flat and underwhelming v. Hernandez, a one-armed Chavez, and Barrera.

Btw, Morales was already faded when he defeated Pacquiao* in their first fight. it’s the primary reason that Duckiao* avoided the red-hot rematch v. Marquez and bolted towards Morales after he lost a second time to Barrera. at which point, Morales became easier cherryypickins with more Name recognition and less risk than facing the simmering Marquez. more prominence + less risk are the cornerstones of Team Punkuiao’s* brilliant mismatchmaking strategy. of course, they miscalculated v. Morales and ever after v. Marquez who ultimately completed his mission with a decisive and unequivocal victory over a prostrate Napiao*.

“No marquez was at lightweight when floyd wanted that fight” AUZBOX, your posts are consistently IINaccurate. it was Marquez who challenged Floyd who was in semi-retirement. at the time, Maywweather wasn’t even Marquez’s destination. Pacquiao* was and Marquez figured he would make himself unavoidable after defeating Mayweather. of course, even a rusty Mayweather is NObody’s steppingstone and he easily handled Marquez who had just unified at lightweight by defeating credible champs that Pacquiao* conveniently leap-frogged with the praise and approval of swooning fanboys like yourself. as far as “leftovers”, i guess DLH and Hatton were Floyd-leftovers that Manny* defeated? your biased posts are so intentionally deceitful that it’s impossible to take you serious on the topic of Boxing.

Barrera was passed his prime, not to mention going through things before the fight. Morales in his prime beat Pac, but by the time the rematch and rubber match occurred he was already on the downside of his career. He fought Pac 4 times and 2 of those times people debate if he actually won or if Marquez won, the 3rd fight Marquez was robbed and the 4th fight Marquez KOd Pac. Floyd toyed with Marquez after a 2 year layoff and beat Cotto.

Khan is already semi-retired and just hanging around for a retirement pay day from Floyd, which he does not deserve. If Khan doesn’t get the Floyd fight, he will not fight anyone else, he will officially retire. Maidana deserves the shot.

No marquez was at lightweight when floyd wanted that fight. Cotto was pacs leftovers. It’s not those guys he cherry picked its, baldomir, Mitchell, Judah, guerro, Ortiz, all had lost 5 or more times or were easy beats for b grade fighters let alone floyd!

Posted February 13, 2014 4:08 am

Khan is begging Floyd for the fight on Twitter. He is trying to manipulate Floyd with his begging tweet. Floyd won’t let anyone control or manipulate him. Khan is desperate to retire this year and is begging for his cashing out pay day. Khan has become the biggest joke in boxing after Audley “A Farce” Harrison. Maidana deserves the fight.

poor pacturds

Havoc who is Floyd cherry picking ? Bradley nor Manny have the freedom to fight Floyd. Poor pactards Arum is already talking about Marquez 5 after the Bradley fight that they are so arrogantly thinking Manny will win. He never had any intentions on any of his guys facing Floyd, Ok Floyd beat Hatton, Oscar, Cotto and Marquez but so did Manny but why when Floyd beats these same guys its cherry picked? Canelo was undefeated I bet he was cherry picked too, I bet Mannys punk ass wont fight Canelo? LOL Like different rules apply right? Marquez Koed Manny but when Floyd beat him he was too small but Marquez is the same size as Manny right? Hell the Bradley II wont even do 800,000 ppv Manny is not on the level and never will be his ppvs have steadily declined since 09 and right now he needs Floyd to give him a handout…

Imagine if you will a Tsun@mi, but rather than being made of water, it is comprised of pure Ande@n Cond0r mixed with l@shings of Clint E@stwood circa 1964, Fistful of Doll@rs er@.

Now imagine that Tsun@mi g@thering it`s force up on Tier one, which I can tell you extends upwards of 22,000 feet, and is a place where ordin@ry humans would require Oxygen m@sks, so as I say imagine it g@thering it`s force, growing and growing, lightening flicker!ng, the smell of ozone in the air and word-pairings, and syll@bals clash together.
Then there is a creak as the Golden doors of tier one are pulled open by Tera P@trick and Scarlett Joh@nnson wearing nothing but smiles, and a hungry look for e@ch other.

You have a moments silence where you have the ins@ne hope that nothing will happen.

But then, suddenly there it is.

A million cubic tons of Vulture E@stwood Dragonborn fury pouring from the sky, slicing it`s way towards your very soul.

At the tip of this Tsnum@i you`ll see a sneer!ng pair of lips form, which as they grow closer draw back to reveal a set of kn@shers intent on dam@ge.

Realising your error you back away, head twisting, seek!ng an esc@pe.

You tr!p and fall onto your back and cover your eyes.

But this can do nothing to stop the be@st you have unleashed from settling it`s jaws upon your most pr!zed possess!ons and r!pping them out root and stem with a crunching twist.

That my friend is Gonzo.

If you feel this is an ex@ggeration then b@re this in mind. Do you know Keyzer Soze? Of course you do, everyone has heard of him. What most people do not know however is that Keyzer once borrowed Gonzo’s Ferr@ri 250 GT, and returned it without filling the t@nk.

This is why Gonzo now possesses a mousem@t made from Keyzers scr-0-tum.

Gonzo the Dragonborn aka The New Edgar Allen Poe

Almost no topic is as confused and difficult for a beginner to understand than feeding tortoises in captivity. It is also true that no other subject is as riddled with misinformation and myths. The proliferation of inaccurate and often lethal advice on this subject in books, in magazine articles and on the Internet is astonishing. It is no wonder that many new keepers find themselves totally confused, and often end up making basic, but serious mistakes.

This is not a subject upon which it is easy to generalize. There are innumerable variables. Getting the diet right necessitates an understanding of an individual species’ nutritional requirements, an understanding of how environment affects nutritional needs, an understanding of basic food chemistry and some knowledge of the vitamin and mineral trace element metabolisms. Unfortunately, many of those who publish advice on this subject seem to lack such knowledge, and hence much of what appears in print and upon the Internet is incomplete, is based upon misunderstandings of these essential principles, or is a gross oversimplification. Whole books can be written on the subject of feeding tortoises and turtles in captivity, and indeed have been. Even genuine experts in this field often disagree upon the finer points. Most do agree on the basic principles, however.

In the wild, tortoises tend to be browsers. They wander over quite a wide area and in the process take small quantities of a very wide variety of seasonally available food. Some species are known to consume up to 200 different kinds of plants during the year. The exact combination of plants, and their status, young, fresh and succulent or old and dry, varies seasonally. Even some true tropical species experience major seasonal (rainy/dry) variations in food availability. Redfoot and Yellowfoot tortoises from South America, for example, will eat a diet comprised almost exclusively of leaves and flowers for part of the year, changing to a diet heavily biased in favour of fallen fruits later in the year. In the case of Savannah and semi-arid habitat species, food availability often peaks during early spring, but is sharply reduced during the very hot summers experienced in such zones. In response, the tortoises may enter a state of estivation to conserve energy, ceasing all normal activity at such times. A tortoise’s diet changes continually throughout the year. From a fairly high moisture and protein content in spring, to a very dry, and often lower protein content later on. By wandering over a wide area, and by consuming such a variety of foods, tortoises ensure that their overall intake is well-balanced and can supply the essential mineral trace elements that they require for reproduction and healthy bone development. Even the best captive diets tend to be very restricted when compared to these natural feeding patterns.

The problem with Floyd is that he thinks he is bigger than boxing and that is not the case. As talented as he is boxing will always find the next “super star” to fill that void when he is gone. first of all, who the hell is still doing “crack”? you’re in the wrong decade AUZ. second, ANY welter opponent would be an underdog v. Mayweather. also, when was the last time Pacquiao* bashed ANYbody into next week? conversely, Marquez did bash him into next year where fanboys like you were eagerly waiting to greet St. Pacquiao* with puckered lips and spread ass-cheeks. finally, I would favor Garcia or Thurman v. Pacquiao* in risky and competitive matchups, which explains why Pacquiao* and his delusional fanboys desperately pretend they don’t exist and why a pouty Pacquiao* continues to “demand” that his next opponent be a 40-something featherweight or “Money” himself. legacy and his bank account is all Pacquiao* is interested in. time to wake-up, take a deep breath, and finally admit that Pacquiao’s* ass-crack is not a bed of fragrant roses.

Tumbo get off the crack. The weekend ain’t about under dogs so stop trying to make the fight sound good. PAC can’t fight nor would he duck garcia or Thurman he bashes them into next week. And remember Bradley the true welter is #3 p4p. Where is Garcia or Thurman ranked p4p. Yeh that’s right, you prob couldn’t count down that far!

Posted February 12, 2014 5:23 pm

te tumbo

Pacquiao* needs to stop pretending that he can’t find any realistic matchups at welter and stop avoiding the likes of Garcia, Maidana, Thurman, and Mathysse. it’s the deepest division in boxing right now. Quackiao* only appears to ducking when he insists on either Mayweather or Marquez. Mayweather is out of the question and Marquez already ended their rivalry. if Pacquiao* wants to start a new one, it must be on Marquez’s terms but, of course, Manny* doesn’t rEEEally want to be Busted-Up and/or KTFO by Marquez AGAIN.

Posted February 12, 2014 5:12 pm

te tumbo

DELPHI, only to delusional fangirls like you believe (pray?) that Pacquiao* poses a serious challenge to Mayweather. otherwise, it’s a lopsided, anticlimactic mismatch in Floyd’s favor. Floyd may have avoided Margarito when he was new to the division but even while hammering Mayweather for doing so I favored him to win. i never considered Williams to be a serious welter. he was an opportunist who was outclassed by a 5′ 9″ Quintana(?!?). quite convincingly too. who knows why Quintana became so frightened for the rematch but the boxing blueprint he engineered for his 12-round win showed me everything I needed to know about why Williams was imminently beatable. something that Mayweather would’ve not only exploited but added too.

The oracle of Delphi

He has not faced every challenge, he ducked Pac for years. The whole world knows it except for ignorant people like you. He also ducked Margarito, Paul Williams and Cotto in their prime. There is a reason he has the “0″ and it’s not his ATG….

Posted February 12, 2014 4:58 pm

te tumbo

it’s pointless to promote Mayweather’s next opponent based on worthiness. that would be Garcia or Maidana neither of which figure to seriously threaten Mayweather’s “0″. at this point, it’s all about looking for realistic challengers to Floyd’s skills-set. Khan’s got range, power, and handspeed like Mayweather hasn’t faced since he stepped-up to DLH. it’s an intriguing matchup of respective talents. otherwise, I already know what Mayweather would do to Garcia in his first bout at 147lbs or Maidana or Pacquiao*. Dominate. meanwhile, after Floyd disposes of Khan he should go after Thurman and call it an ATG career. confident that he faced every challenge and remained undefeated. Btw, I won’t even consider any matchup at 154lbs. Floyd already defeated the best 154lbr and Lara has already been lucky to avoid the outright loss v. Molina (who he refuses to rematch) and TKO loss to Angulo. he is not worthy of also scoring first in the “Money” sweepstakes.

Not sure why folks always have to refer to race. That has nothing to do with Floyds greatness. It is the work he puts in.

Girlcott floyd if he picks on weak Khan.

The reason fans expect so much from floyd that some” pee-brains” on here dont understand is floyd unlike 3G isn’t going around saying he s the best fighter “EVER”. That a big statement looking back at the greats of the sport.

If floyds that good then only fight the best, give fans the best floyd and take on the best opponent s, your at the top of your game floyd, stop rip n off real boxing fans, sure you got your worshipers/defenders and excuse makers in full force but it isn’t gonna fly.

Khan is inactive and semi-retired. Get real, the guy has become a joke. He ducked Alexander and is just hanging around for a retirement pay day. He don’t deserve a shot at Floyd and has zero chance of winning.

Smith, you are once again Clueless. every fight-fan, Mexican and otherwise, has Cinco de Mayo weekend reserved as a fight-weekend. it’s a holiday that commemorates combat, warriors, and underdogs, which is appealing to ALL fight-fans, not just Mexicans. accordingly, every true fight-fan will be tuning-in to watch Mayweather v. Khan, which is a lot more intriguing than Maidana who figured to be outclassed and dominated by Floyd. that matchup would’ve only been a must-see for the most hardcore fight-fans. conversely, the pre-fight trash-talk of Mayweather and Khan will combine to build interest and momentum up to the actual fight-weekend.

I agree, Con is definitely a disappointment. But we may get better fights in Sept and next year. Who knows. But as far as a business stand point it could be a good fight because of the Euro money. But I would rather see Maidana because he has earned it.

Four fights left and Floyd wastes one on Khan? Crazy. Khan is an absolute joke, he’s inactive, semi-retired and just hanging on for a retirement pay day. This stinks.

If you call yourself a “boxing fan” and all you argue is ppv numbers, and money made per fight, as though that should matter to you (as though you are getting a cut from that money), instead of merit and skill, do the boxing world a favor and go kill yourself.

Hate to say it but Brooks career is starting to Mirror that of Witter. Witter played second fiddle to Hatton throughout his career chasing a world title shot that came way too late. Brook is looking like he could follow the same path.

WarZ – Good comments re Calzaghe. Best British boxer of all time in my opinion. I cant think of many others is boxing to ever have a career quite like his. I followed his career all the way through and I never really seen him in any trouble what so ever! No fighter has looked so dominant in every fight he was ever in.

Posted February 12, 2014 5:25 am

Boxing barlow

spartacrust – Agree with you pal. Id rather see Khan vrs Mayweather than Maidana but Floyd wins whatever. I think Khan could take the route of a Floyd mega pay day, then after he’s been beat take a easy fight before looking at another very good pay day against Brook. The only reason he has not fought Brook yet is that Brook is too risky, but once he’s had that huge Mayweather pay day his next big pay day will be Brook.

Look…if khan can out box maidana, Wtf will mayweather do to him? Maidana is just a smaller, slower version of canelo! Khan doesn’t fair much better but he is slightly better than maidana…people are quick to jump on the maidana band wagon because he beat a blown up lightweight in broner!!!!!! Khan almost knocked maidana out now that’s saying something. Khan needs to fight Kell brook to see if he can beat the best in UK after the last set backs, I only count the Garcia loss because khan went to Lamonts back yard and lost a very questionable decision to someone that was found to be cheating…that’s one loss out of 4…what’s Pac had?

WarZ

There are only two fighters who retired undefeated, Rocky Marciano, and Joe Calzaghe. Even with these two guys Mayweather may have hard time putting himself up. When Joe Calzaghe fought Jeff Lacy almost all boxing experts thought that Calzaghe will be knocked out. Joe Calzaghe destroyed Jeff Lacey’s career. JC was the underdog when he fought undefeated Mikkel Kessler. He beats Kessler convincingly. JC fought two of the most decorated American boxers in Roy Jones and Bernard Hopkins. Both Hopkins and Jones knock Calzaghe down in the early rounds and most of us thought that the fight was over. But Calzaghe step 2 levels higher and beat them both. And then you’ll say both Hopkins and Jones are past their prime. Yes you can make that case with Roy Jones. But how about Hopkins? Hopkins is still in the top 10 p/p fighter in the world. Beating younger guys like T Cloud and Jean Pascal.

Harris-Witter: Look For An Early Knockout Win For Vivian

By Richard Rodriguez: WBC light welterweight boxing champion Junior Witter (35-1, 20 KOs) will be defending his title tonight against former WBA light welterweight champion Vivian Harris (28-2-1, 18 KOs) at the Doncaster Dome in Yorkshire. On paper, this would seem like an easy win for the thirty-three year old Witter, however, I expect this to be a blow-out win for Harris which will likely end in an early knockout victory for the American..

Harris, 29, is both younger and the more talented fighter, with skills that closely match Zab Judah, who happened to give Witter his only career loss in June 2000. Like Judah, Harris is fast with both hands and can punch or box depending on the situation.

This is the 2nd defense for Witter, 33, who won the WBC light welterweight title last year in September 2006, with a unanimous decision victory over DeMarcus Corley. Witter is mostly known for his safety-first style of fighting, relying on his jab mostly and taking few chances against his opponents. Against the mostly overmatched European talent that Witter has fought during his career, he has been quite effective, but that’s where the problem lies – his soft competition against European fighters.

By defending against Harris, a fighter that has fought tough fighters for most of his career, Witter will be taking a huge leap up in competition, and it will likely be too much for him to deal with.

In reality, I see only three actual decent fighters on Witter’s entire record – Zab Judah, DeMarcus Corley and Lovemore N’dou – with the rest being fighters that I don’t feel are near top level in skills, especially in comparison to Harris’s impressive record of named fighters. This in itself is the problem for Witter, because he’s been unchallenged during much of his career except for those few cases where he was soundly beaten by Judah, and barely beat N’dou. Witter’s record just doesn’t cut the mustard, does it?

For his part, Harris has had mental lapses, losing fights to Colombian Carlos Maussa by 7th round KO in June 2005, and a 10-round unanimous decision to the tough Ray Oliveria in February 2000. However, in each case, Harris has come back from defeat with impressive wins over Ivan Robinson, Golden Johnson, Diosbelys Hurtado, Oktay Urkal (twice), and more recently with a string of victories over Marteze Logan, Steve Johnston and Juan Lazcano. As you can see, Harris has fought the much superior competition in his career compared to the soft opposition that Witter has feasted on.

Look for Harris to come out strong, taking charge immediately with his powerful left hook-right hand combination. Witter will probably play it safe, and try to peck away with his jab on the outside, hoping to win by attrition. However, Harris will quickly come at him and punish him with power shots and drive him to the ropes where he will pound him into submission. I see it ending quickly with Harris stunning Witter with a left hook and then finishing him off with a right hand. Like in his battle with Hurtado, I see Harris winning by sudden, brutal knockout.

Prediction: Harris by 4th round KO
