like lara boxed angulos head off?Posted February 14, 2014 11:01 pm
I think Lara would box Canelos head off…Posted February 14, 2014 7:37 pm
Public Enemy has the beat….Posted February 14, 2014 7:28 pm
Maybe your instincts will proove right TARK. you are right often and you have very good insight. but if i had to put my loot down now between lara, canelo, churlo its goin down on caneloPosted February 14, 2014 4:36 am
i have no doubt there gonna set up canelo vs lara and bring on his boy churlo. build them both up for canelo to feast on. as long as canelo is around HE IS THE MAN at 154. as far as im concerned floyd never fought there against canelo.
floyds clearly not ever gonna make the best fights happen and he is selling garbage at this juncture and trying to handicapp 23 year old kids like canelo. the sooner floyds garbage is gone the better it appears. this is boxing not WWFPosted February 14, 2014 4:34 am
Really all angulo had to do was finish the fight at the point of the subderal hemotoma and he would have won. we would be discussing a fighter who lost to el perro. the fight was stopped and el perro was pretty much wooping his a$$ as lara just could not stay on his feet and could not hold the dog off. you just cant write off angulo vs lara and i think its themost telling bout of lara’s career. not the guy that was the perfect matchup for him in austin troutPosted February 14, 2014 4:28 am
I did not know lara also lost to paul williams. although i know it was some time ago. so lara has had close ones with martirosyan, lost to paul, about lost to angulo and got dropped multiple times, and really im seeing that the highlight of his career is austin trout who seems to me to be taylor made stylistically for lara as both have virtually no inside game at all whatsoever and really on a good gap and fight from that gap.
Bluntly, im not sold on lara but im not ruling him out. i think even the current 23 year old kid canelo is better. to reiterate im thinking canelo is the man at 154. a weight floyd did not fight canelo atPosted February 14, 2014 3:49 am
how many times have we seen cubans ABSOLUTELY FOLD???? rigo is the current exception. i dont think lara is gonna be the next dominant fighter who happens to be cuban like rigo. I’m not buying yet. but its possible. im still buying stock in canelo alvarez.Posted February 14, 2014 3:16 am
TARK- I dont understand why that would be the fight of the night? Molina was blasted late by kirkland, dropped and lost. i dont understand any lauding any lauding of molina at all whatsoever as though he is some awesome opponent cause he had a draw with lara years ago and got dropped by kirkland. Is it because you believe churlo and lara to be the best and not canelo? which is something i disagree with. BIGTIME. now maybe your current views will come to fruition this lara number one churlo number two but i dont think they will while canelo is around. imoPosted February 14, 2014 3:04 am
The fight of the night will be Charlo-Molina…Posted February 14, 2014 12:52 am
in the floyd fight it appears stakina was too big of a factor and rather than gas and loose canelo boxed a very conservative way. nobody thought canelo was going to out box floyd. the 23 year old kid was gonna have to make it a dog fight, throw a lot if punches, and get inside close the gap. he had to do what angulo did to lara and i think he just did not have the stamina because of the bs catchweight enfoced by a scared mayweather of a 23 year old kid.
canelos a kid dude and he’s pretty good fighter already with a LONG WAY to go. its not for no reason goldon boy has invested so much in canelo. furthermore, your wrong. most people do not feel trout beat canelo in fact they feel the opposite. the judges, the showtime announcers, dan rafael, in fact i dont know ANYONE related to pro boxing who feels trout won. so no you dont speak for “most people”. maybe some bitter puerto ricans and blacks u speak for and maybe u are among those ranks. but u have not a clue about most people or caneloPosted February 13, 2014 7:54 pm
u do realize canelo was a senior in high school fighting a 33 year old man and took the mans best then stopped him teeing off on him?Posted February 13, 2014 6:32 pm
the return of the hype job. no thanks.Posted February 13, 2014 3:55 pm
G Unit II my friend, I know exactly what’s going to happen should Ped Man dare to step in the ring again with Manny Pacquiao. Ped man Marquez is a desperate man that lost 3 times and was losing the fourth until the infamous Ped Punch landed. Manny Pacquiao is a clean living boxing legend, and not a whiner. Braddley already finished Ped Man Marquez. He’s done and has ran, ran and ran away from Manny with good cause. My analogies will spot on once this fight happens. Manny is the best.!Posted February 13, 2014 2:41 pm
Please be distracted and not think about how Golovkin is fearful(truly scared) and ducking Erislandy Lara, like everybody else.Posted February 13, 2014 10:39 am
high school senior saul canelo alavarez stops 33 year old man jose miguel cotto after taking the MANS powers shot strait on the whiskers. canelo does what floyd could not and becomes the first man to stop carlos baldomir doing it nasty with baldomir TOTAL FACEPLANTING. He stops cintron who had just beaten ANGULO. Beats the stuffing out of mosely looking less vulnerable that mayweather did against mosely. jacks up lopez the guy who jacked up ortiz. faces trout at 23 and trout says he does not have his man strength. canelo blasts him, makes him do the harlem shuffle on the way tot he canvas DROPPED for the first time and apparently a touchy a chin since canelo got ahold of it.
canelo has to boil down to skeletor or floyd wont fight him unless he is handicapped. actually catchweight 2 pounds below the weight of the actual title being fought for. just ridiculous that floyd was that scared of a 23 year old kid.
i look forward to another awesome canelo showing setting up a canelo vs lara ppv and canelo wooping that A$$ TOO!!Posted February 13, 2014 5:36 am
i like canelo a lot and i hope he has an awesome showing and sets up a megafight with lara. canelo has a huge following.. whoever is saying otherwise below doesn not know what they are talking about. golden boy is not headlining him on his own ppv’s because nobody knows who canelo is. dudes got a worldwide following and his ppv is being put on boxnation. the kids 23 and he is a bada$$. he could be the next cash cow for all we know. it remains to be seen but i have enjoyed canelo so far. kid punished the tar out of moselyPosted February 13, 2014 4:43 am
hec dog you sound like a clown with all you stupid sayings , when they get in the ring there is no cats backed to the wall or freakin wasps nests and water baloons , its gonna be a fight plain n simple , predict all you want but these 2 have been on different paths since they last met in the ring , and untill they meet again none of us knows whats going to happenPosted February 13, 2014 4:19 am
Manny Pacquiao has now stated that he will NOT be the Mr. Nice Guy he’s been of late, which means serious trouble for Timothy Bradley and any future opposition. A man of the streets can leave the streets, but the streets will never leave him. Manny will now resort to the mentality he had as a young man roaming the streets for survival. A cat that’s cornered against a wall will fight back with extraordinary strength, reflexes and vision. This will be Manny Pacquiao on April 12 when he faces Timothy Bradley at the MGM Grand. I recall watching one of the Rocky movies when Apollo Creed yells at Rocky saying “There is no tomorrow, There is no tomorrow, There is no tomorrow, There is no tomorrow.” For both Manny and Timothy, there is no tomorrow. Only one will continue leave the ring as champion. Manny Pacquiao will be that one. Timothy Bradley has questioned Manny’s Killer Instinct of all things. He dared to think that the greatest offensive fighter of all time has lost his inner ability to destroy and dismantle any opponent. What happens when you throw a water balloon at a wasp nest? Disaster, confusion and non stop attacks. Manny will not stop and punish Bradley for as long as this fight lasts, which should be from 4-9 rounds. Timothy need only be reminded of the Manny’s reign of terror as he broke bones, bodies and PPV records. He massacred Oscar, Cotto, Mosely, Margarito, Larios, Barrera, Morales, Hatton and others. The beatings we’re inhuman. Why do you think Floyd Mayweather refuses to fight Manny? He watched Manny almost send his opponents to the morgue. We must be reminded that boxing is a sport. People don’t understand the monster that Manny Pacquiao can become inside the boxing ring. He’s been criticized for not knocking guys out. They say he’s become soft, and there may be some truth to Manny’s compassion, but the true reason is that Manny loves life and refuses to take any life inside the ring. he will not permanently hurt anyone. he has love for his fellow human being, and he will go soft on opposition only to save their lives. Remember Margarito, Hatton, Diaz. These were fighters on their way out. Thank Manny Pacquiao for his compassion. Timothy Bradley best not call out Manny’s Killer instinct. Things could get seriously painful for him. Manny is the best..Posted February 13, 2014 3:55 am
This fight will not be as easy for Canelo as many of you seem to believe! Angulo is one tough, stubborn S.O.B. I’ve never seen Canelo being the smaller man and being heavily pressured the way he will against Angulo. Let’s face it, Canelo has made a career being the bully against smaller, lesser, older fighters, but let’s see how it works out when the bully gets bullied. Canelo may win, but he’d better be ready to fight like Hell for 12 FULL rounds. I’ll be watching this one.Posted February 13, 2014 3:44 am
Ray Ray my friend, Manny Pacquiao can out draw this event at one of his workouts. Outside of hard core boxing fans, no one knows any of these guys. Seriously, this is a weak card. Canelo easily destroys a tough, one dimensional punching bag like Angulo. Santa Cruz vs Mijares is a very predictable ko win for Santa Cruz. Carlos Molina vs Jermall Charlo??? What kind of fight is this? Charlo belongs nowhere near any title fight. Who has he ever beaten to win anything. Oh yeah, it’s the crooked promoters buying title shots. What a farce. And Figuroa vs who? Who is Figuroa. Weak, Weak, Weak, Weak fight card. I can catch these types of fights at the nearest bar. Horrible card.Posted February 13, 2014 3:22 am
Hec dog-ha ha ha ur blind following 4 PAC/Toprank is once again 4 all 2 c? 4 title fights what else do u want? Topranks cards are half of these kinds on fight nights. Toprank won’t and can’t put shows on like this….u r kidding urself if u think other wise.Posted February 13, 2014 2:47 am
There’s something about Angulo’s doggedness & power against Canelo’s stamina-or lack of-that keeps me wondering about possible outcomes…Posted February 13, 2014 12:04 am
Talking about hands full, Canelo is sure to have his hands more than full with “el perro”; I don’t know about you but I’m starting to smell a huge upset. For some weird reason, thoughts of Khan/Prescott keep popping up in my mind when I think about this fight…just an unusual premonition.Posted February 12, 2014 11:57 pm
Charlo will have his hands full. Fricken iPhones…Posted February 12, 2014 10:59 pm
