lefhookI think the Chevez that beat up the Irishman gives Martinez fits. Prob the prep was’nt what it should be, who knows. Chevez has to get crazy reckless with this guy n smash anything he can hit from the first bell n he’ll catch up with him eventually Posted October 4, 2012 6:39 pmte tumboi always felt that a Chavez Jr. win would be the biggest upset of 2012 and the ringwear he inflicted on Martinez is the primary additional factor that may improve his chances in a rematch. bottomline, Junior can definitely improve on his performance while i think that Martinez will experience trouble maintaining the same level of dominance if he hasn’t already begun to decline. there’s also Junior’s increasing inability to make a healthy 160lbs. pale, no muscle tone, somewhat sluggish execution. Martinez is the superior boxer at any weight and Junior isn’t doing himself any favors by boiling whatever physical advantages he does possess down to the bare minimum. he either adopts Hopkins-like dedication to maintaining 160lbs or remains three rounds short of ever defeating Martinez. Posted October 3, 2012 11:46 pmlefhookTE TUMBO.. I was dissapointed Chevez lost the other week. I really thought he had the winning of that match. I’d still pick him in a remach though Posted October 3, 2012 8:58 pmlefhookHopefully a lot o the old posters will return this winter. Nothing better than a good debate on a cold winters night here in Scothland… lol Posted October 3, 2012 8:55 pmBoxtradamusI would have banned your ass TOO. Has anyone seen FA post anything positive in the last year? We have had enough of your NEGATIVITY. Posted October 3, 2012 7:13 pmRUFFKNIGHT28Actually you might(slight possibility I’m sure) be considered a bit of a Floyd “fanboy” Te Tumbo? Posted October 3, 2012 4:55 pmte tumboAFICIONADO, i wouldn’t be surprised if the “ban” was lifted the moment you got back in San Fran. i can’t help but suspect it’s a glitch of some sort. after all, i’m constantly at odds with ESB writers and content. Hell(?!), i consider myself an ESB antibody triggered by imbecility on the part of fanboys Aaand “experts” alike but i can’t do it alone. of course, doesn’t stop me from trying but it’s comforting to know that there is backup in the form of ESB regs who are hip to my favorite sport. hang tough, hope to continue reading your posts in the future, and as always “defend yourself at All times” . . . Peace. Posted October 3, 2012 4:33 pmRUFFKNIGHT28Yeah, Kid’s articles were generally different from the norm on here. Fight Aficionadote tumbo thanks for your kinds words. I’m bailing not because of any decline in the quality of posters here, but because ESB banned me. IMO it was for no reason whatsoever. But apparently if you criticize the ESB content they consider it a foul and that’s why they banned me. Only reason I can post now is I’m on a new IP address while in Boston. So once I’m in SF the ban will be back and I won’t. Posted October 3, 2012 4:16 pmte tumboRUFFKNIGHT28, if Sares could only keep his ego in check i would certainly welcome him back into the fold of dwindling but real fight-fans on ESB. of course, the very first sentence of this post is likely to send him into a spiraling kamikaze hissy-fit, which is the reason he’s been cultivating cyber love-ins at other sites but even he’ll concede: only ESB’s got the action and volatile juice that fuels the passionate boxing debates on these threads . . . “Let’s Get It On!” . . . Posted October 3, 2012 3:05 pmmalachifloyd should go ahead n school canelo so everyone could chill out or dare to be even greater than he’s gonna be n challenge martinez ….yuuup! Posted October 3, 2012 2:47 pmPeejRead Arum has already announced Pacs next fight date in April of 2013. So I guess PAC really doesn’t want to fight Floyd which is fine by me since it wouldn’t be very competitive. Floyd should just go ahead and retire with his HOF record Posted October 3, 2012 2:09 pmRUFFKNIGHT28te tumbo: Yeah Sares should write some articles again, they were always good and there was a lot of participation in posting comments with boxtrahomoI boldly predict I will be servicing Pacquiao for the 4th time in the locker room after this fight. Why did Pac Man give up womanizing you ask…it is because of my man services silly boys. I am the greatest man loving boxing quicker picker ever. Posted October 3, 2012 11:49 amHidalgoMad Scientist, I’m one of those fans who isn’t interested in seeing this fight happen. I’m not interested in watching it either. But that’s not because I’m a Pacquiao fan. I gave up on his Arum-controlled ass a long time ago. Even if Marquez were to win, it means little at this point in time because it should already be clear to anyone who can see clearly, that Manny is just fighting for the money. He won’t go after anymore titles. He might make a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr., get his megamillions for losing as most of us knowledable boxing fans expect he will, then he’ll retire probably by the end of next year. The blueprint is there. All anyone has to do is read it. Posted October 3, 2012 10:45 amzckgqsWell isn’t this ironic. People on this website said they don’t care for a 4rth fight and won’t pay for it..Apparently 16800 are willing to go to the fight and I bet about 1.2 million will be buying this fight also.O the irony Posted October 3, 2012 9:32 amKOrnermanPedman will take a pasting this time Marquez is going to pummel him bad. Posted October 3, 2012 3:57 amAnonymous39years old vs. 35 years old! How exciting! Posted October 3, 2012 2:37 amFloyd’s Lawyer“The Mad Scientist/te tumbo” The ABSOLUTE IMBECILE DOU!!! Nope, only the CRYBABIES, FLOYDIOTS & FLOYDTARDS who does not want to see the FIGHT PERIOD and don’t you IMBECILES BE A HYPOCRITE!!! Posted October 3, 2012 12:29 amFight AficionadoZup Tumbo. ESB banned me for some unknown reason. I’m in Boston on another IP address. Think I’m packing it in on ESB since there’s no point in posting here only on weekends or when I’m traveling. Most of the regulars from the golden days of 2006-2010 are gone anyhow, replaced by douchebags and fanboys. I’ll be over at ESPN. Adios. Posted October 3, 2012 12:24 amBoxtradamusVince-Nope. I don’t get bitter. I get WITTIER. And MY time will NEVER be UP….unless time itself is UP. I am the GREATEST Fight Prophet of ALL times. Posted October 2, 2012 9:47 pmGhetto Thuganybody believes the BS that Bum Arum says?? Posted October 2, 2012 8:22 pmjacksonPacky and May shouod be dropped behind SOG…..Packy is on the decline…and so is May, though less so, though his drop would be for inactivity…. Posted October 2, 2012 7:36 pmte tumbomust be nice for Pacquiao* to feel back in demand again(?). perhaps he’ll make the connection between surging tix sales and competitive matchups. otherwise, nobody’s interested in Arum’s promotional set-ups. Btw, the popular demand for a 4th Marquez v. Pacquiao* matchup is a direct dik-slap in the faces of those who insist there is no interest in it. PAYING fight-fans DISagree and have no interest in what you bitter boys and girls and half-girls have to say . . . “Let’s Get It On!” Posted October 2, 2012 7:18 pmVinceGood to see you’re getting bitter and with it making lame points Boxtra. Your time’s up. Posted October 2, 2012 4:34 pmVinceAs a heterosexual male, there are definitely more fish in the sea thanks to you Boxtra. Enjoy your wank. The Roach thing I believe immaterial if what we’re talking about is predictions. It has meaning if he send fighters out chasing kayoes when a better game plan could be devised. But who really went went for the for the predicted KO from his stable, who really followed his press words? And Marquez winning 5 of 12 is so laudable that they should create a new Nobel Prize for you alone. Alone. Lonely. Posted October 2, 2012 4:27 pmBoxtradamusTHANKS!! Posted October 2, 2012 4:27 pmmalachibox, you d man pimpin!!!…..eazy! Posted October 2, 2012 4:12 pmBoxtradamusHopefully Roach smartens UP and doesn’t predict another knockout. Iron Beach ended up having to RETIRE from this site because he was ignorant enough to take Roach’s prediction over the GREATEST Fight Prophet ever born’s…. ME. I SAID that Marquez would WIN at LEAST 5 rounds despite being shutout by Mayweather and I was CORRECT.
