Fury with tough task??? … If his match with Haye had come off that would have been a tough task… Even Chiora will be tough…. Abell??? Put it this way… does Fury’s body look like he’s expecting a tough task?Posted February 15, 2014 2:28 am
Abell says.., “I hope for the best. I know that people are thinking that I’m here to lose, but I’m not here to lose because I’m here for the opportunity. I don’t deserve to be fighting the best in the world yet, I think it takes a lot of work to get to that level, to be fighting these kinds of guys,” … And he’s implying he’s not there yet.
There’s nothing you can take from those words that signal Abell believes he has a ghost of a chance to win. He’s there for the opportunity he says? To do what? Get a paycheck, what else? He basically said he doesn’t deserve to share a ring with Fury.
Kevin Johnson is a much better fighter, but doesn’t sound a lot more confident than Abell. He sounded much more confident before he fought Fury. There’s a point when you start losing to guys like Tor Hamer, that you know the dream is up. You’ll never be champion. You just say your piece, predict victory, box your best and pick up your check. Just try not to get hurt. You’re a few thousand dollars richer and basically you need to get another fight … and you’ll soon be hitting the road again. The thing is, Johnson is not in the physical condition he was in when he fought Vitali, and that’s why he’s not doing anything. You may have a full time job, and kids to raise, but you still have to maintain the bod.Posted February 14, 2014 6:22 pm
Chisora knocking out Kingpin not seeing that either. Chisora UD with score 96-94, 97-93 and 98-92.Posted February 14, 2014 3:56 pm
Tough task against Abell I wouldn’t bet on it.Posted February 14, 2014 3:55 pm
i hear people are paying to watch these big cretin”s.Posted February 14, 2014 2:43 pm
A bit of irony with this card. When Fury and Chisora fought it was Chisora who was overweight. Now it’s Fury who’s packing 20 lbs of lard. Anything can happen when a boxer is not properly trained for a fight.Posted February 14, 2014 1:18 pm
Unless Fury is VERY rusty I cannot see Abell being a tough opponent.Posted February 14, 2014 9:35 am
kingpin is a good test for chisora and abell is a very dangerous puncher.Posted February 14, 2014 7:21 am
I find it funny that Chisora is calling Johnson a trash-talker. Chisora is one of the biggest trash talkers I’ve ever seen, and he also spat in Wladimir Klitschko’s face for no reason. Chisora is a PUNK!Posted February 14, 2014 3:28 am
If David Haye’s toe “injury” is so horrible, why doesn’t he just have the wretched thing amputated?!Posted February 14, 2014 2:18 am
@ largo: I was thinking the same thing! I remember watching Devon Vargas trying to KO Johnson, and we all know what happened there.Posted February 14, 2014 12:05 am
How is he gonna KO Kevin? with a shotgun or a baseball bat? who’s he kidding? ko Johnson, hahahahahahaha, now, that’s funny…Posted February 13, 2014 11:12 pm
If Johnson comes in this fight in-shape (below 240) and aggressive, he’ll stop Chisora late.Posted February 13, 2014 11:10 pm
KJ will make it to about the 10th round and then expect the big TKOPosted February 13, 2014 6:29 pm

David Haye’s little toe still hurts.Posted February 13, 2014 5:41 pm
Fury sounds hesitant and worried about a guy who has had one weeks notice to fight. Fury knows his chin is suspect and will need to stay out of trouble until Abell gasses.
Motivator – She’d be too much of a risk for Wilder.Posted February 13, 2014 5:31 pm
if word gets out Johnson’s Momma is a fighter, the Klitschkos will start issuing challenges !Posted February 13, 2014 5:23 pm
Hoping he KOs all talk JohnsonPosted February 13, 2014 5:15 pm
Even then he”ll need a ‘toe’.
“What you mean get off, I’ve just got on”
rumour has it david haye will be at ringside in his mobilty scooter.Posted February 13, 2014 4:40 pm
I think they must be desperate to sell tickets for this one, because anyone who knows the fighters involved knows there’ll be no KO in this fight.Posted February 13, 2014 4:23 pm
“British banger Chisora”
You mean he’s a sausage, right?Posted February 13, 2014 4:21 pm
Tough fight for Chisora, easy one for Fury.
Assuming both win, Chisora gets the kudos.Posted February 13, 2014 4:18 pm
Chisora the African fake Brit from Zimbabwe to win in a snorebore against lazy bones ‘Kingpin’ Johnson. The Black Swan of heavyweight boxing Tyson ‘Fists Of’ Fury to KO the man who knocked down Kubrat Pulev, the big-punching Joey Abell in 3 rounds!Posted February 13, 2014 4:14 pm
Dereck “Delusional” Chisora….Posted February 13, 2014 4:12 pm
