big head

moreno proably aint a big puncher but lately he been sitting down on his punches more and hitting a lil hard i dnt think mares will be walking in that easy questions how will mares deal with moreno defense and slick style but mares a good pressure fighter i think mares is stronger it going to come down to whoever can make who fight his fight if mares can make moreno fight his fight then he got the upper hand if moreno can do the same he got the upper hand

At this point and time I don’t think Darchinyan can hang with Mares anymore, one is going up and the other is going down..Joseph Agbeko nevermind, Johnny Perez forget it, next!

this is going to be a great fight everyone keeps saying abner has fought the bigger names which he 2 fights with Agbeko 1 with Dachinyan and a DRAW with Perez the darchinyan fight was close as were the 2 fights with kingkong i really feel darchinyan could defeat mares though the rematch was never spoken of ? although Eric Morel is battle proven he is not in the same ballpark as the other guys mentioned above ..I really feel Anselmo game is very well suited to beating mares and moreno is the fighter i will put my coin on …

I got Mares in this one, looks to me like this could be a great start to a series of fights between these two. I don’t trust Moreno since most his competion came out of the US guys we never heard of, plus two of those guys gave him a loss an a draw. We all now Mares at such a young age was taking on the top fighters in his division an some how came out without a loss, the only blemish on his record a draw should have been a win against a very good opponent.

How convenient for you to forget all the ones I got right. This Fight is EASY to predict. The game is HIT and don’t get HIT. Moreno is one of the BEST in the World at that. Moreno on points.

Boxtra- this is a fight where you can get mad props if you can pick the winner and break the fight down correctly..all your other prediction were you pick the overwhelming favor are wack..not to mention you got some of those wrong further dropping what you still think is a 95% correct calls..Lol!

Moreno on points. And the bookmakers would be WISE to agree with ME on MY pick.

Mares tenacity & winning mentality will prevail, as always…he’ll impose his will once again.

50/50 fight. can mares get inside and stay there or does Moreno keep him at distance. both always come to fight will be a good one.

How is Moreno the underdog..? from what I been reading here most believe Chemito is going to school Abner Mares..I don’t see that happening, Mares is a battle tested little lion and he has shown the ability to adapt against top competition with diffrent styles..Abner chin is sturdy and Moreno’s punch is average at best so atleast we know Mares wont be walking into anything big..having said that it remains to be seen if Chemito can outslick, outbox or outfight the best pressure fighter he has ever faced in a still improving Abner Mares..my guess is he wont..war Mares!

Moreno is the under dog, but you are a fool if you think he doesn’t have a great chance to beat Mares. He is slick, great defense, great movement and will frustrate and out box Mares to win a unanimous decision. Mares is a well rounded fighter, and should be fired up to fight in his back yard, but he’s going to be a little too fired up and want to knockout Moreno badly, which will fit into Moreno’s plan. Moreno is one cool customer regardless of where he fights. He has great stamina. My money is on Moreno to pull off the upset.

Malachi- Agree that Moreno seems to be the more talented fighter and he’s overlooked by a lot of people (but I think it’s more a matter of not being known at all in the US), which is more to the credit of Mares and his people, as they are probably on the driver’s seat in this situation, being the bigger name in the US, and could have chosen a lot of lesser guys while they waited for the big fight to come, yet they have chosen to take the bigger risk. Take on all comers, that’s how the Marvin Haglers of thew world did it, but not always the case today.

he’s a very good fighter and deserves his respect but i gotta say his challenger is diamond in the rough and has been getting even less respect than mares,i predict a comfortable win for moreno get stolen by the judges , again!!….yuuuup!

true that, true that.

Say what you want about Mares’ fighting style, but other than perhaps Andre Ward, no young fighter in the sport today has taken on the challenges he has. You want respect? You got mine kid.
