Before you know it Audley’s fans will start saying that Wladimir Klitschko is “ducking” him. Maybe he should take to Twitter and drum up support for a fight with Wlad. :)Posted February 24, 2014 9:45 am
Kimbo Slice is useless as a boxer, bad as Harrison is, he would beat Slice in one round.Posted February 24, 2014 4:00 am

Harrison should take care of his dependence.
He can’t fight and he can’t play poker.Posted February 23, 2014 8:12 pm
Anyone remember that chick Karen who used to write stories about how Harrison could still be champ> Never saw such transparent slurping on a boxer’s knob. She was classic. Even if it was unintentional comedy those were the funniest stories and threads ever at ESB. Come back Karen.Posted February 23, 2014 7:20 pm
Does Harrison have any integrity and dignity left? Loss after loss and in embarrassing fashion yet he still does not shut his trap. He is like an annoying mosquitoPosted February 23, 2014 5:18 pm

Harrison should fight Kimbo Slice, that would be fun to watch for the duration of the figtht..the whole minute of it, Harrison is begining to look be like a crash test dummy of boxing, taking a ko loss to every fighter that’s up and coming…Posted February 23, 2014 5:08 pm
agree. some cats on here have a wicked sense of humour.Posted February 23, 2014 4:59 pm
Nothing at all wrong with Harrison wanting to fight on. He can still win fights on the C-level, I mean, just before the Wilder windmill attack, he had won the Prizefighter tourney, beating 3 solid club fighters.
So what if Chisora is looking to get KTFO by Potvetkin…..once he takes his KO5 loss to Sasha, he’ll be out of the Fury2 payday, and looking for a rebound fight. I don’t have a problem with Chisora v Harrison. It’s a good comeback fight for DelBoy after an embarrassing @sskicking he’ll take vs Potvetkin, and a relatively good payday for both.
And if Harrison wants to get KOd by Joshua too…….I got no problem with that fight either. Audley just needs to get more active vs true cans, in between beating by ranked contenders.Posted February 23, 2014 4:53 pm

There are thousands of journeyman boxers/fighters out there that will at the drop of a hat, having spent 7 days of every week, month and years keeping themselves fit grab their kit and keep the game and cards alive for very little more than their love of this great sport.
Harrison is a disgrace and disrespects every single one of those dedicated fighters because he is little more than a ponce and a leech of this sport.
This clown, if he ever gets another payday should be spat on by every person present when he makes his way from the dressing room to the ring.Posted February 23, 2014 12:12 am

Remember Harrion – Williams 2? What happened that night to light a fire under Harrison? He was in Williams face, mixing it up and ended it brutally. Shame he couldn’t seem to get his head in gear like that again.Posted February 22, 2014 8:11 pm
Go away, annoying now, you do not deserve to fight the contenders now for a pay day, are you mad,Posted February 22, 2014 7:37 pm
Somebody needs to tell Harrison that beating C-D level opposition does not immediately propel him into a world title eliminator type situation. Time and time again we see him winning prizefighter, or beating a domestic rival then thinking he’s a fight away from Klitschko. No doubt he sees Chisora as a quick way to a ranking, but he’ll not win anyway as Chisora is above C level.
I’d like to see somebody pull him to one side, give him a reality check, maybe offer him a shot at the British title if he agrees to retire after his shot.Posted February 22, 2014 7:27 pm
Audley Harrison. The only boxer in history who talks like he has won a fight when in fact he LOST!!! YES HE CAN!!! In fact he convinces himself he won the fight. The last 3 losses were wins according to him….Posted February 22, 2014 7:04 pm
“Harrison is still unable to call it quits. And one man A-Force thinks he can beat is current European champ Dereck Chisora.” – Fraudley isn’t beating any top 20 heavyweight. But he can be a useful trial horse and bank some more five figure paydays. What else does he know? It beats laying bricks or flipping burgers.Posted February 22, 2014 6:52 pm
Hard to see what Harrison can now do-Harrison could maybe get revenge on Skelton, Guinn or Rogan (all of whom are beatable), or win rubber matches against Sprott and the even more shot Danny Williams. Perhaps another Prizefighter tournament win is within reach..but thats it. Haye, Tyson Fury, Price, Chisora, Sam Sexton, Gary Cornish and probably John McDermott would all beat him, just ”maybe” he ”might” beat Ian Lewison, Tom Dallas, Larry Olabimwo and Richard Towers, and it wont be long before Hughie Fury, Anthony Joshua and possibly David Howe will be able to take Harrison out.Posted February 22, 2014 6:33 pm
Harrison never lived up to his potential as a pro, and he never will now. He had the power, the skills, the size etc to be a top level heavyweight, but seemed to not be able to get in the zone mentally. However, he did win Olympic Gold and the ABA Title as an amateur, and British, Commonwealth and European Titles as a Pro. So, he has achieved more than those that trash him ever will. His Loss to Haye is understandable, as Haye was in a different class, but Harrison had the talent to beat the likes of Williams, Skelton, Guinn, Sprott and Rogan. He was on the downslide when he was blown away by Price, but Price was a 14 fight novice all the same, and he was shot by the time the novice-like Wilder beat him, but Wilder remains unproven, so these were bad losses.Posted February 22, 2014 6:24 pm
How about Audley Harrison Vs Danny Williams again. Onr more time for a trilogy. If Harrison wins that then take on Michael Sprott again. Theres still a few undercards he could prop up but Id rather he stayed retired.Posted February 22, 2014 6:16 pm

How the hell was Harrison v Haye ‘rigged’? Harrison was simply out of his depth. By all means criticise Haye for making an easy few quid in a mismatch, but that doesn’t mean it was rigged.Posted February 22, 2014 1:26 pm

Just go away Audley Harrison. No one want’s to pay for your fights. You are an overated name in PRO boxing and only that Gold medal from the 2000 Olympic games makes you worth naming. You had four 15 minutes of fame long time ago and thats it. Your title fight with David haye was a dissgrace to boxing and rigged made you loose the last bunch of supporters you had left and sad you and Haye was not caught with it with enough evidence accept all bettings in your families.
Dereck Chisora would any way take you appart.Posted February 22, 2014 1:02 pm

Yeah, but every time he feasts on a couple of cans of ‘Pedigree Chum’, he suddenly thinks he is in line to eat Beluga Caviar with the Queen.
I don’t think anyone begrudges him beating up a few journeymen for minor titles.Posted February 22, 2014 11:45 am
Fraudley will be around until 2020 at least, collecting domestic level pay days, maybe longer.Posted February 22, 2014 11:05 am
Some of these fighters should look to transition into commentary or effective trainers so that they may maintain brain cells while continuing to get paid. Not always easy to leave what you’ve always loved and known but this could save a lot of depression and dementia.Posted February 22, 2014 11:03 am
Stop it Audley. Go to your room!Posted February 22, 2014 10:59 am
There are plenty of Ali Adams and Derrick Rossy’s out there…..why can’t Audley continue making a living winning and losing vs those types of fighters.
He’s put it all on line on occasion and had a few historic wars vs Sprott, Rossy, Guinn….etc….
Let the old dog continue to eat….he’s earned that right.Posted February 22, 2014 10:55 am
true, Olympic Gold medalist in boxing. He will be making money for years. So he takes a beating, so he hits the floor. He will be cashed up!!!Posted February 22, 2014 10:49 am
Jeez, wake up guys, Audley is doing it for the money, like 99% of all fighters, the other 1% are just plain mental. And Audley is gonna get paid a lot of bucks to get back in the ring again, compared to your average joe in a regular job, Audley carrying on fighting makes financial sense.Posted February 22, 2014 10:14 am
Harrison has the talent and reasonable power to do something on the outer fringes of world level….the problem is that he has little punch resistance and backs away like a scared rabbit whenever anyone starts throwing punches. Nobody is afraid of him, as they all know that all they have to do is walk towards him throwing punches, and he’ll back off and stand there until he’s knocked out.Posted February 22, 2014 10:04 am
Killing Moon The Soothsayer
Making a living..eh…..More like getting every opportunity in the book for free…Harrison is a never-was and keeps getting decent pay-checks by doing nothing…There’s litterally atleast 500 HW’s I would rather give a decent pay-check to than this loud-mouth,self-entitled,going down if you blow air at him joke…If he wants to fight ….fine….But he shouldn’t be anywhere near a contender since a victory over Harrison means less than nothing.Posted February 22, 2014 10:03 am

The problem with Harrison is that he gets these opportunities and fails dismally, people are fed up of being basically short changed.
Boxing barlow speaks real sense!Posted February 22, 2014 8:48 am
Instead of throwing him straight in with another decent fighter they should strt him a little further down the ladder. How about putting him in with McDermott, Towers, or Sexton. If Chisora looses against Fury then put him in with Harrison.Posted February 22, 2014 8:37 am
St Vitus Dance
Big Aud has to have a sore arse from kicking himself constantly, a 6’5″ southpaw heavy with fast hands and numbing power should at least have won a sliver of a world title. I actually like Audley, he has after all won British and European titles, not everyone can be world beaters. I’d like him to go into coaching, perhaps with the Olympic team. But he has the right to earn a living, nobody laughing at him would do so to his face I would wager………Posted February 22, 2014 8:29 am
This is good news for Amir Khan, finally another British boxer can become a national joke instead of Khan getting all the heat.Posted February 22, 2014 8:28 am

I have no problem with Harrison wanting to continue fighting, but lets be real here, he is a club level fighter only, at best he wins prize fighter again, but he is not British/commonwealth
I’ve got no problem with Audley continuing. There seems to be a snobbery around boxing where people think you should either be on route to a world title or you are a bum and should be retiring! The reality is the sport needs fighters at all different levels. The hype surrounding Harrison was huge after he won that gold at the Olympics. We all know he did not live up to that, but there is nothing stopping him even at this stage in his career being a stepping stone for up and coming fighters. He’s still got a well know name and will still sell fights on the UK scene. He’s still around the level of Sprott, Rogan, McDermott, Towers, and Skelton, who are all top ten ranked boxrec British heavy weights. I actually think a fight between him and Chisora would be interesting still even at this stage in his career, and a fight with Anthony Joshua, between 2 Olympic gold medalists has got to be a bigger draw in a fight or two than the current guys being fed to Joshua. Also people are quick to forget these guys have still got to make a living and also still have some passion for the sport. Hell, I’ve got a massive passion for the sport and if I suddenly inherited Audleys skills first thing I’d be doing is turning pro and living the dream lol.Posted February 22, 2014 8:10 am
The guy’s got every right to make a living ffs. We can’t all be the GOAT! Tbh Chisora aint all that and Audley should be able to beat him with the talent he has.Posted February 22, 2014 8:05 am
Nobody wants to see Audley in the paid ranks again. If he wants to fight for charity then that is commendable. Maybe take on Big Frank in a Battle of Britain in a fundraiser for children in need?Posted February 22, 2014 8:01 am
