In a few years Hidalg0 you will remember what I said, when someone enters your house, or your shop and empties it of its contents you worked hard to supply and furnish and then they will turn round and SUE you, because they tripped on a shoe or something you left out in their path. It’s not even a joke. They will, because they can! If you walk in on the scum and try to tackle them it’s odds on the police will arrest you for contravening their human rights (false imprisonment etc), and they will take you for every penny. The other scenario is you will walk in on them, or worse your wife will and they will either rape and or kill her/ you and leave you for dead, because they can and they will.
Therefore, I think my idea of chopping off these b8st8rds hands is not a bad idea and they will be easily identified for future reference. sorry mate, but I hate thieves.

That’s what Floyd did with the thug who fired a gun at that dude at the skating rink. Easy for athletes to do, just like all the NBA entourage members caught with weed who take the rap for the player.

Thats exactly what ive been saying. Joseph and Bustajay are insinuating that Ann’s meanness would overcome Rouseys worldclass grappling skills.

Posted March 13, 2014 1:09 pm

Look bro here is the way I see the situation
Ann is a BMF who can knock a man out with ease and could still out box some dudes today
Ann is also over 45
Rhonda is a skilled MMA fighter
Rhonda is a spring chicken as she is just a baby (age)

In a REAL fight there is no doubt in my mind that Ann would knock this chic out cold before she could grapple onto Ann.

Now this fight will NEVER happen so if I am wrong and you are right we will never know bru.

Posted March 13, 2014 5:40 pm

REM

Great post and Joseph is right the skill level of each discipline is watered down. Im no expert but from the eyetest the only discipline ive seen performed on a worldclass level before Rousey and her judo of course is ju jitsu. But Joseph and Bustajay backed Wolfs claims that she’ll whoop Rousey pretty much in any venue thats just ridiculous. The reasoning behind their opinion is Ann’s inner strength which I personally admire but thats not gonna save her outside of a boxing ring against Rousey.

Posted March 13, 2014 3:47 pm

Hidalg0

Well REM, Joseph used the words “watered down” to generally describe the skill and knowledge level of MMA fighters in all the disciplines they use in their sport. And he’s pretty much correct–if you look at things in a general sense. A lot of the fighters are only fair at kickboxing, or karate or boxing or jiu jitsu, or wrestling, but their combined skills and experience along with their athleticism and toughness are what wins bouts for them and that’s what MMA is all about.

But there are some MMA fighters who are just as good–or great–at their crafts boxers are at theirs, and its how they use all these disciplines together that make them such formidable fighters. One of those fighters is Ronda Rousey. Another is Chris Cyborg. Others are Nick Diaz, George Melendez, George St. Pierre, Anderson Silva, and of course there’s many more. And as MMA has matured and progressed, just as what has happened in the sport of boxing since the 19th century, MMA fighters are becoming more sophisticated and skilled, and clearly better than they were–on the whole–than when the sport first got mainstream recognition and popularity not so many years ago. This blend of the use of a variety of martial arts actually combine to make a unique martial art and fighter, and that’s MMA. But you already know that.

If you look at the aggregate skillset and experience of the best MMA fighters, you see a group of fighters that have a good to excellent working knowledge of all the disciplines that they incorporate into their own fighting style. These guys and gals are really really good. Then you get somebody like Ronda Rousey–a true Judo master who also possesses other MMA skills and abilities. Getting in the ring with her is like facing off against a Shaolin Kung Fu warrior. And Ronda has the fighting mentality and fortitude to go with her skills. She’s tough, she’s mean, she’s dedicated, she’s a hell of an athelete, she’s fearless, and she loves to fight. But Ronda is just one example.

I have a lot of respect for MMA fighters and even professional wrestlers just like I do for boxers. The best competitors in all these sports are very very good at what they do, are very fine athletes, and on any given day in their venue, under their rules, I expect they would beat anyone else who doesn’t specialize in what they do.

Corrections: Ronda is a “judoka” not “judokan.” Also, she won a gold medal in the Junior Olympics and a Bronze at the 2008 Olympics.

Posted March 13, 2014 10:26 am

Hidalg0

“one dementional boxers are no where near ready for mma fighters no shame in it just one of the most basic facts of life.”

Okay. First of all REM it’s “dimensional” not “dementional.” Sorry man, but there’s a huge difference in the meanings of those two words.

Secondly, most MMA fighters do not have any real boxing skills. So if it’s a stand-up boxing fight only, the boxer is going to win almost always. If it’s an MMA fight involving a boxer and an MMA fighter, especially somebody like Ronda Rousey who is a true master and Olympic Gold medalist in Judo, then it’s another story. Ronda is as good at Judo as some of the best professional boxers are at boxing. Her mother was an incredible judokan and former World Champion so she learned from the best.

But if Ronda were to try to duke it out with Ann Wolfe she would get beat down so bad she’d probably end up in the hospital–especially if Ann trained for a boxing match. And if the two of them ended up on the mat, Ronda’s incredible athleticism, speed, and Judo skills would take care of Ann in short time. Even if Ann outweighed her by 30 pounds. And if Ronda decided to ignore the referee after getting Ann in an arm bar, she’d hurt Ann so badly that Ann would end up in the hospital having major reconstructive surgery on her arm.

Lmao Ann Wolf can be as ferocious as any animal of ones choice it means nothing when going against a well trained world-class fighter. Floyd is well-known for his rages.

Squared-Circle Real Talk (a.k.a. LionKing)

NEWSFLASH:

“According to recent reports from various news sources, Floyd Mayweather allegedly orchestrated a savage attack on two of his employees he suspected of stealing his jewelry. Sources familiar with the situation say that the two men had been hired to work on Floyd’s Vegas homes, but when jewelry went missing, Floyd pointed the finger directly at them.

The victims claim they were contacted several weeks ago and instructed to meet Floyd at an off-site location. When the men arrived, they claim Floyd was waiting for them — along with a number of “his people” — who proceeded to attack and savagely beat them with various weapons, including clubs.

Some sources say the attack was so brutal that both victims could have easily died from their injuries. Both men had broken arms and legs and were hospitalized for several days.

The men are adamant they never took anything from Floyd and it appears that Floyd realizes that now. But here’s the problem for the champ: sources familiar with the legalities of situation say the attack amounts to attempted murder, mayhem and kidnapping. The victims have already retained a lawyer and will most likely prosecute. Things may not be looking so good for Mayweather who has a history of criminal violence, resulting in incarceration.”

i’ve been impressed with Wolfe’s corner ferocity and dedication to the thorough physical preparation of Kirkland. moreover, she may be the only trainer in boxing history to ever improve a fighter’s chin and jaw. after being poked into submission by Ishida, Kirkland has taken some flush-shots and continued to swing his way to victory. i can’t recall ever witnessing such newfound resilience like that in a fighter. it would be like Seth Mitchell returning to successfully exchange punches v. Stiverne for a KO win(?!?). that’s how miraculous Kirkland’s return seems to me and Wolfe deserves most of the credit.

“Why doesn’t Rhonda attempt to compete in the squared circle with Ann? Why doesn’t anyone ever bring up that scenario? Because no MMA fighter can compete with a professional boxer within the discipline of pugilism. It’s not even close. You will never hear Dana White propose such a scenario.”

That’s true and a very good point, Joe. To be realistic, Wolfe last fought at Light HW and now probably weighs over 185lbs. She’s a BIG woman. Rousey fights at 135lbs. So that fight could never be sanctioned in pro MMA or boxing due to massive size differences. MMA is simply much closer to a real fight (martial hand-to-hand combat) than a boxing match and the UFC promoters made it point to prove that reality to the world. That’s probably why there’s been a few famous pro boxers who’ve competed in the octagon, but not vice-versa.

I was actually into amateur boxing and wrestling as a younger man and then got into MMA training later in life. I respect and closely follow both sports, but the sweet science is my first love. You’re absolutely right that the best MMA fighters can’t compete against the best boxers in the squared-circle. But the days of calling a boxer like Tyson “the baddest man on the planet” are gone forever, brother. I would much rather get into a street fight with a good boxer than an average MMA fighter any day of the week, brother. And that’s based on personal experiences in the ring and on the mats.

Darren: “You might as way just say “Ann is a vicious, savage psychopath, easily capable of gruesomely murdering someone in a sports contest”.

That’s the way most boxing fans view the barbaric and unsportsmanlike product that is MMA.

I have respect for all of the athletes in any combat sport…especially ones who risk their lives competing in MMA for peanuts.

It’s a flawed product and an unsportsmanlike event that doesn’t have the same drama because of how brutal it is. Any sport that allows an athlete to choke another until he’s out cold is rubbish. Any sport that allows an athlete to drive an unprotected elbow into another man’s eye socket, breaking his orbital bone is crap.

So don’t talk to me about gruesome or murder…ask Dana White about that….he’s the one making money off of it…not the athletes!!

REM, Ann is not the one who’s comments are out of touch with reality.

MMA fighters are very good athletes who practice watered down versions of many different combat disciplines.

It’s a flawed product that has been marketed well. Most intelligent fight fans realize this. Ann realizes this.

In a fight with “no holds barred”, you might actually see Ann take Rhonda Rousey’s life by chewing off her nose or gouging out one of her eyeballs.

Ann is not someone to toy with….it’s an entirely different mentality that Rhonda and most people have.

When Ann talks about getting it on with someone, she’s not just referring to a sportsmanlike bout inside the field of play…she’s talking about securing her way of life. I feel bad for anyone who she feels is standing in the way of that.

Joseph Rouseys a poor striker by mma standards so I agree that Ann would embarrass he in a boxing match ending in a brutal ko. Ann’s a strong woman but what type of grappling background does she have to make anyone realistically say she can hang with the world class Ronda Rousey in a mma match. Shed fall for the most basic grappling trick as Toney did and be a fish out of water on the ground. Her strength wont help her because Rousey is an extremely strong woman herself an knows all the tricks of the trade in the clinch. I hate Rousey and want to see her humbled but Ann’s not the one to do it and her comments are way out of touch with reality.

I don’t know, Hidalg0…Ann is a very resourceful person who has really grown accustomed to adapting to very harsh circumstances…I wouldn’t doubt it if Ann got the better of Rhonda by gouging out one of her eyeballs while on the mat!!

Posted March 12, 2014 2:15 pm

Hidalg0

If it’s just a boxing match, Ann will smash Ronda in short time. If it’s all-out MMA however, and Ronda gets Ann on the mat, it’s all over for Ann, I don’t care how big or strong or tough she is. Rousey is a master at Jiu Jitsu and a very dangerous person to be rolling around on the mat with.

big head: “hey joseph what u think of karim mayfield i think he got a tough fight ahead of him against thomas duloume but a fight i think he can win thomas chin is suspect and if mayfield get rough with him get physical on the inside idk if duloume can deal with that but thomas is a talented fighter and he got robert garcia training him he taller and longer if he keep mayfield on the outside with his jab and speed he can cause karim some trouble so it a interesting fight”

Very good preview, Big Head!! Couldn’t have said it better myself!!

In my mind, this is a 50/50 fight…Dulorme has the edge if he can keep the fight from mid to long range and remember to use his feet as the foundation of his defense.

But Karim, as hopefully you heard on last night’s program, is a very smart fighter. His ring IQ is very high for a fighter who is still at the prospect level.

“Hard Hitta” is a bit older than your average 140 pound prospect, and his experience being around the best fighters in boxing has really paid off.

I really like Dulorme and all of his physical gifts, but I have to take Karim because of his power and intelligence in the ring!!

But should be a great fight for the real fans of boxing!!

I wanna listen to Ann’s comments on Rousey Ann’s a strong woman and a great female boxer but Rousey is gold metal judo practitioner. Im no Rousey fan but she is a beast herself with excellent technique. C’mon Ann step into the octagon but do better than Toney did lol.

It’s okay, Big Ern…you can listen to the replay anytime by clicking on the direct link to the show

Thanks bro
You can’t help but like Ann. She does not believe in hand outs as she will make you earn everything you want in life. That is the way life works.
Her whole life story is just amazing to me bro.

There is not a woman on the planet from 18 to 48 that can touch her skills and that Rhonda from MMA best keep her mouth shut before Ann puts her to sleep. These young fighters, MMA & boxing, are quick to call out older vets but I would love to see these young folks still try it once they hit 35 or 45.

Dimelo,

Angulo truly did his best this past weekend with what he had to work with…which wasn’t much from what I’ve been told from some very brutally honest people.

Highly unlikely that you see him competing at 154 pounds ever again.

As for Ann, she is actually one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. She has such a big heart, which is actually what makes her so tough…she cares about so many people around her.

God Bless her and her fighters!!

Posted March 12, 2014 8:50 am

Dimelo73

Mr. Herron:

I wanted to say that I was wrong about Angulo. He did not show up to fight and Canelo did. Cest la vie!

Additionally, I am happy that you had Ann Wolf in the show. I had a coach that trained me in the same manner she trains her fighters. Of course she needs to be tough, she is a woman and this is a male dominated sport. She gives her time to help kids from the streets and give them a different perspective in life.

truth be told ive liked ann since i first starting seeing her training habits and early work with kikland.unfortunatly i dont think her style of training is for the majority of fighters out there and only suited for the truly mentally strong, credit to kirkland for withstanding that kind of triaining regime, thats an accompishement of its own.
