Lara and Canelo fight will happen with Canelo at 178 lbs and Lara 154 (>20 lbs). GB, HBO and all mafias know that Canelo would be easy schooled…that’s why De la Hoya will never put his most overrated cash cow in front of a much better boxer without a big weight’s difference.

GGG just was called out by Lara to no avail. Ward just SAID that he will face GGG right NOW too to no avail. GGG doesn’t want to face guys who have the potential to beat him.

GGG will fight Lara anytime a promoter makes a great offer… He’ll hook the living crap out of him and knock him cold as well…

And GGG will K Floyd TFO too… if Floyd gets big and brave about fighting a truly great fighter like Lara, GGG, Pacquiao, or Garcia — instead putz pieces like Maidana and Khan.

Auzbox

I didn’t say fly was his natural idiot I said PAC has come up 7 at welter floyd only 5 at junior middle, why would PAC fight Canelo 8 divisions up when floyd couldn’t even fight him at junior middle merely a poor catch weight no better than margarito you muppet

Posted March 14, 2014 7:30 pm

te tumbo

AZZBOX, Pacquiao* has never dominated or unified a single weight-class even though he’s fought in at least seven (that catchweight bout v. Margarito hardly qualifies as a jr. middle campaign). also, you sound like juvenile Pactard* trying to convince me that flyweight(?!?) is actually Pacquiao’s* natural fighting weight. feather or lightweight is more like it but he couldn’t even unify at 135lbs like Marquez did. Btw, stop trying to pretend that Marquez wasn’t considered the “older”, “slower”, and “smaller” fighter in every matchup v. Pacquiao* above 130lbs and all Marquez did when he FLATTENED Pacquiao* was KTFO of a fellow feather at welterish. perhaps the only welter that Marquez could ever KO.

Posted March 14, 2014 5:24 pm

Auzbox

Dumbo PAC is naturally lighter than Marquez you fool. And PAC is up 8 divisions at 154 may weather is only 5. PAC has dominated at 147 which is 7 divisions from his starting weight lets see mayweather dominate 7 divisions up. Haha yeh he ain’t that good. Why would he mention Canelo who should be at 160

The scorecards aside….

Posted March 14, 2014 4:42 pm

REM

Te Tumbo setting the scorecards I agree with you that Canelo showed a sizable difference between his and Trouts boxing ability. It was Trouts workrate combined with Canelo gassing that made the fight close on the cards.

Posted March 14, 2014 4:41 pm

te tumbo

“There’s no reason to believe Canelo can beat Pac”. Yes there is. Pacquiao* never mentions him even though that is definitely a bigger and more prestigious payday than anything he could score at welter. Pacquiao* wouldn’t last seven rounds v. a 154lb Canelo. of course, Manny* can’t convincingly defeat fellow featherweight Marquez at 147ishlbs and would never dare face a full-fledged 154lbr like Floyd already has three times while remaining Undefeated.

Posted March 14, 2014 4:39 pm

te tumbo

Molina humiliated Lara; Vanes intimidated him; and a depleted and sluggish Angulo Dropped him twice. Lara is no mystery or phenom. he’s a legitimate contender but he’s not dominating any elite-level comp and struggles v. the B-list. Btw, Mayweather has already defeated the best 154lbr out there. Lara has yet to prove he’s better than Molina or that much better than Vanes or Angulo.

Posted March 14, 2014 4:36 pm

REM

There’s no reason to believe Canelo can beat Pac. Canelo would allow Pac the space to do what he does. Canelos a confused fighter in his mind hes a boxer but he has the body of a brawler. When Canelo shows the ability to pressure I’ll change my mind. Until then Pac would rip his face open. Laras a different story his size and boxing ability would be to much for Pac. I find it crazy that Laras power is being questioned he made a world class tough guy quit in Angulo who by the way lost every round he didn’t score a kd in. Laras kd of Trout scared me I like Trout and was genuinely concerned for him Lara hurt him bad. Floyd didn’t shut Canelo out Lara would.

Posted March 14, 2014 4:35 pm

te tumbo

REM, Canelo’s domination of Trout was as thorough as Mayweather’s of Guerrero. Trout could barely lay a glove on Canelo whose neo-like moves had him missing punches in bunches. I’m talking 5, 10, 15 at a time(?!). “shocked” is the word Trout himself used to describe the experience. never mind the scorecards. Trout was OwneD by Canelo, plain and simple.

Posted March 14, 2014 4:33 pm

REM

Lara would torch Floyd. When up against a fast slick southpaw Floyd is lost on the outside like he was against Zab. Whats Floyd gonna do walk Lara down ROTF. Lara would humiliate Floyd at his own game. For Christ sake Spadfora did the same thing to Floyd. Floyd is not as cagey against southpaws and puts himself in positions to be countered.

Posted March 14, 2014 4:12 pm

REM

Canelo became delusional beating up on journeyman WWs. Canelo shouldve known that since only the kd gave him a close victory against Trout he wasn’t able to box with Floyd. I mean Christ even if he could why completely give away your best advantage size. Floyd has handled hard charging punchers well but none of them were C anelos size nor did they possess his natural punching gifts.

Got smashed by jmm. Lara shoulda got k.o. by angulo! Canelo is a finisher. Is canelo hurts lara he is done! Lara doesn’t have enough power for canelo to respect him! Canelo will eventually break him down and k.o. him. Oh and manny is the best! Lol. Just ask hecdog! Lol

Floyd loses to Lara 10 out of 10 times. Beat him easily by outboxing him too, and keeping him on the end of his Jab. Money would never take that fight, unless he weakens Lara making him go to 147..

Posted March 14, 2014 3:02 pm

te tumbo

Canelo simply became too pleased with his boxing-punching domination of Trout and Mayweather is notorious for outsmarting hard-charging punchers. accordingly, Team Alvarez erroneously concluded that Canelo was capable of handling and outboxing a smaller and older Floyd, which is not the preferred fight-plan v. a still-prime Mayweather. he can’t be outclassed, outsmarted, or outboxed by any welter or 154lbr.

Posted March 14, 2014 2:57 pm

REM

If Canelo had the ability to pressure he would’ve done it to Floyd as sound of a technical boxer as there ever was. So either he took a dive against Floyd or he doesn’t have the ability to pressure. As of right now since he hasn’t shown the ability to pressure I have to assume Lara bakes him.

difference is that #1 P4P Mayweather is notorious for outclassing and outsmarting hard-charging punchers. Lara is becoming notorious for NOT being able to contain hard-charging punchers. Canelo can employ both styles and would choose accordingly and predictably v. Lara. placing powershots with urelenting accuracy. Lara can’t and won’t stand-up to that for 10 rounds. he’ll go down.

Posted March 14, 2014 11:23 am

The problem is Canelo isn’t hard charging. He tried to box Floyd hes definitely gonna try to box Lara and get schooled. Thats if GB ever allows the fight which they won’t.

Posted March 14, 2014 11:14 am

Lara wouldn’t have lasted beyond 10 v. Canelo last weekend. he lacks he ability to make hard-charging opponents respect his space, which is why the likes of Molina, Williams, Vanes, and Angulo were in his grill each and evey round. none of those guys hit with the precision, velocity, and power as Canelo who also has a solid beard. he’s shrugged-off flush-shots so casually, that it’s obvious few are noticing. Canelo “shocked” Trout; pounded Angulo; and will trample Lara who lacks the ability to discourage hard-charging fighters.

Lara will beat Canelo any day of the week. Canelo won’t dare ask for Lara. Canelo does not have the technique or experience to deal with a complicated southpaw that will make him miss. Lara is a true technician. Don’t let Lara’s performance against Angulo give you false confidence. Lara as well as other good technical boxer have a cake walk against boxers like Canelo. Angulo is tough, and sometimes you get caught with his style of fighting. As we saw, Canelo gets hit with jabs by Floyd and Angulo. Trust me, he won’t be trying to show off his defense against Lara. Lara UD or late stoppage. Canelo is good. Lara i just better.

Good for Lara, but he’s a little overrated at this point. He got beat by Williams and failed to beat Vanes and Molina. 3G would smash Lara into next week and Canelo would likely hammer him silly as well. You can bet that Canelo will try to a get a championship fight with Lara — now that he’s been awarded the WBA. (He saw how Perro won 4 out of 10 rounds vs. Lara and darn near KO’d him. Saul also knows he won every round vs. Angulo and battered him around the ring with ease.)
