Adamek has been finite, just picking up some extra cash for retirement and maybe a regular job.

MM: I tried to do that late last night, but it wouldn’t post my analysis for some strange reason. Maybe I’ll try again later. Gonna watch the fights tonight, playboy, or what?

Would’ve been nice to see Garcia v khan rematch with the winner getting Floyd next on the undercard. Would’ve been the only way he could’ve sold this crap….. Money team? Whatever….lol

@Herron…, I would more likely believe Hunter and my own eyes … than believe somebody who picked Nathan Cleverly to beat Sergei Kovalev. Everybody in the world know Kovalev was going to kill Clev but Gogue.

Hunter said Angulo was on weight..

Making 154 is something Angulo does with regularity.. It wasn’t a catch weight fight.. He made no excuses about the weight … and neither did Hunter.

They were outboxed by a million miles… That was always going to be the case. Super easy win for Canelo any way you slice it. Maybe you didn’t watch their respective fights with Cintron.

Should be good, I have doubts about Wilder’s reflexes and chin.

Malik can box, so he may give Wilder a challenge, but I think Deontay will catch and KO him in the end. Garcia has too much of an attitude for me, flipping the bird to the fans. I’ll watch the Adameck bout instead.

I think he will stop Scott in 4 or sooner. Scott did not impress me in his loss to Chisora. I know that Scott is the best fighter that Wilder has faced but he just doesn’t have the power or the skills to keep Wilder off 4 rounds.

I got to admit im little exited for this fight theres just not many good fights at heavyweight. 2 things concern me about this fight 1 scott might fold when he gets hit and 2 thers no bad blood I hope they dont fight like friends. But theres a chance malik comes to fight and is tougher than we give him credit for because he can box.

Joseph Herron: You’re not the only one, brother. I just tried to post my own analysis of both fighters strengths and weaknesses and it mysteriously failed to appear on this thread. Very strange indeed. Hmmm?

Squared-Circle Real Talk (a.k.a. LionKing)

Wilder has great height, reach, impressive speed and huge power in his right hand, but his boxing skills are still amateurish and limited in many ways. He hasn’t developed his jab into a real weapon and I don’t believe he has legit KO power in his lead hook. His punches are often wide, looping shots thrown in a wild, uncontrolled fashion. I also noticed that tomato can Firtha (who looks like he’s training for “competitive eating” contests) rocked DW with an average jab, so his chin is highly suspect IMO.

Scott is actually the all-around more skilled and experienced boxer here. He has a good, active jab and nice lead hook, but his major problem is that he doesn’t have dangerous stopping power. That being said… this fight is step-up for DW and we’ll see how he looks vs. a well-trained and schooled boxer with pretty good technical skills. I believe that DW will find a way to land that big right enough times to stop him — mostly because he’s more physical and explosive with the reach advantage. If Scott does pull off the upset, Wilder will be exposed as a MAJOR hype-job and his stock will drop through the floor within hours.

XYZ

This could be a good fight. Scott seems to be a skilled boxer and should be undefeated – the KO loss to Chisora was a bit dubious. Of course, who’s to say if the referee allowed him to continue he wouldn’t have been worn down be del boy. Anyway, I’m looking forward to it – should be some fireworks.

Refreshing to see someone bring a sense of light heartedness to w/in….makes a change from all those wimpy fists waving and hard man scowls …..in the photo most people are laughing,..I don’t know what things are coming to in the fight game……

You weren’t there, were you, TARK?

I would be more likely to believe two men who were actually talking with Hunter and Angulo the entire week of the fight, than an interview with Jim Gray or some other Showtime employee.

C’mon, brother…haven’t you been there before?

Posted March 15, 2014 3:23 am

TARK

Angulo can’t box a lick… There is no way in Hell he matches up with Canelo regardless.

Canelo had a harder time making the weight.. They both looked a little drained.. Canelo busted his gut to make 155.. According to Hunter Angulo was on weight … and could have made 154.

He wasn’t depleted any more than Canelo was.

HHLondon: “Jesus Heist ….. I mean Joseph Heron …. I know I know little about the game … but your last comment to me was regards Angulo dropping Ginger at least once ;-)”

That’s right…my exact words were, “I wouldn’t be surprised, if Angulo dropped Canelo at least once even in loss.”

Because Angulo doesn’t load up on any one of his punches, he customarily holds his power in the back end of every fight. But that comment was before I found out how depleted he was after the weigh in and leading into the fight. It really surprised everyone in attendance.

Ronnie and Gogue had fighters on the undercard and couldn’t believe how bad Angulo looked on the day of the weigh in.

There is no way he should be fighting at 154 pounds any longer.

Anonymous you’re an idiot… Scott is has one loss in 38 fights… He’s 10 times better than anyone Wilder has ever faced… He was never knocked out by anyone… He wanted to take a 9-count because he was caught with an equilibrium shot behind the ear. He was winning the fight up to that point — that’s what you’re taught to do, take all the time you’re alloted in that circumstance.

He was up at 9 but the house referee ruled him out. If a guy is kneeling waiting for your count and gets up at 9 you don’t rule him out if you’re a honest referee.

Scott was knocked out by Chisora, so that’s when Wilder decided to fight him. Scott punches like a girl. What about the rumors that Scott will make more money if he loses the fight? Is that true? Money rules the world……………

Scott isn’t even ranked in the top 20 by any of the reputable boxing organizations. Shoot… I don’t Wilder has ever fought a guy in the top 20. He better step-up the competition and win a REAL title if he ever wants to fight for the HW championship of the world.

Gallinas,

Your families honor is based on your ability to provide evidence that Adrien Broner and his team offered Danny Garcia and his outfit purse, terms and conditions within the last six months at 140lbs.

Please fell free to post elsewhere should you not be able to offer the said challenge and documentation ;-)

Posted March 15, 2014 12:01 am

HHLondon

Ok, Let’s lay it out for you.

Danny demolished Amir Kha who we all know is a chinny clown.

Lucas Matthysse was handily dealt with by Danny over 12 rounds.

Danny was written off by the fanboys in both fights.
Not me ;-)

Khan was a chinny posterboy, Matthysse was a one-trick-pony whose power had been manufactured (Judah/Alexander being examples)

Danny was made the fall-boy and Oscar, pre-Khan and Post-Khan post fight-ring will tell you the shame of Oscar.

Broner fights at?
Khan gets beaten up at how many weights?

Khan for over a year has been bleating and decomposing with Mayweather ….. this is Danny’s fault?

Broner just got his ass handed to him by Maidana at 147lbs and along with Khan was offered undercard by Floyd?

Instead, Khan will fight Collazo (HeeHee) at god knows what weight and Broner is still trying to get over his recent Mangina Muscle Pull …. but of course, this is Danny’s fault?

Gallina’s … you’re a mug and I’d do you for free ;-)

I actually rate Wilder, but would like to see him step up which is what this one is for him.

But to say Garcia is boring …. just tells me you have ABSOLUTELY no idea of what you’re talking about and what “boxing” is all about.

;-)
