Assyrian God, Fury does not use his “good speed and movement”, because he does not have them. I recommend you do a search on the internet for “Tyson Fury punches himself in face”

Got a feeling he’ll get his wish granted soon enough. Thompson v Fury has got Prizefighter semi-final written all over it!

Fury may not have a glass jaw but it certainly isn’t made out of granite neither. He gets in there with a good enough puncher he is gonna get stopped.

Squared-Circle Real Talk (a.k.a. LionKing)

Fury was way too heavy in his last fight (275lbs) and that’s a bad sign for a young HW. He really needs to keep his weight at around 250lbs, as he’s weighed-in as light as 245lbs in the past. For a big clumsy looking oaf, he’s a pretty skilled boxer, but still FAILS to fully utilize his greatest weapons: the jab and straight right from long distances. He doesn’t fight tall and long enough for a man of his size. He fights too small and likes rough & tumble infighting too much, which will be his downfall. He should fight the winner of Stiverne-Arreola, Pulev or Povetkin after Chisora. TF has absolutely no chance of beating King Wlad. He’d get outboxed in every aspect of the game and probably KO’d.

Squared-Circle Real Talk (a.k.a. LionKing)

Contrary to what some may think, Fury does not have a glass jaw like Davey Boy Price or Seth Mitchell. He’s never once been stopped. U.S.S. landed a perfect overhand right because Fury was fighting stupid by sticking his jaw out with his hands down by his sides. He got knocked down, but wasn’t really hurt. He just starting smiling like a psycho, got up like it was nothing, got mean, dug in and fought harder. Then he KTFO of U.S.S., who hit the canvas like a limp rag-doll. IMO… it would be a good match, but Tyson probably beats the old Tiger at this point.

After taking an asswhipping from Pulev this guy needs to shut up.

Wilf…such a well structured comment. Scrape your knuckles on the ground much when you’re out walking? Numpty.

TARK

Fury would destroy Thompson with right hands. That fight is a joke. It might be another stinker like Pulev-Thompson.

After he takes care of Chisora, Fury should fight either Pulev or Wladimir… He might even beat Pulev.

Pulev looked lacksidasical against Thompson. He just floated through to a decision… Wladimir was looking for the KO shot the whole time he fought Thompson in both fights… He got him out of there too. Wladimir is always in perfect condition no matter who he’s fighting … and Pulev looked really soft in his last 2 fights.

Hah, Thompson’s 100% correct. Fury is the epitome of a hype-job. A feather-fisted CW Cunningham almost puts him down and out and people think Thompson wouldn’t wreck Fury? Laughable

He can be mentioned, as he smashed Chisora up.

Thompson speaks the truth here. Fury is such a terrible boxer its unbelievable. He’s very slow, has poor footwork, his style of punching/boxing is amateruish at best, and he has a very dodgy chin (in fact I’m surprised he didn’t knock himself out that one time he punched himself in the face with an uppercut). I was gutted Haye never actually got to fight him, because even though Haye had his detractors, he’d have sparked Fury within 3 rounds.

I like Thomson. He should stay away from Fury tho.

all that saved you against Price was his inability to box more than 3 rounds otherwise you would have been Ko’d and made a fool of, should not take a fight against fury if he even makes it past solis, who if he is in any sort of shape should make easy work of tony the pu55y

Solarius is too short, fat, and dumpy. Period! Thompson took care of Price very easily, but, in my opinion, Fury would be another matter. Fury is tough and likes to scrap and mix it up, and I think he has the stamina to take Thompson into the late rounds. But first things first, Tiger KO’s Solarius then onward from there. Maybe Tiger faces Wilder, could be a good one. Anyway, looks to me like if Tiger keeps his focus, he may get another title shot with somebody other than k-bro. Some good stuff happening in the HW division.

Thompson v fury would b a good test 4 Fury? I’d expect fury 2 win, however I do think Thompson could give him a hard time….

Posted March 21, 2014 6:08 pm

The Truth

Solis has two choices, and ONLY two choices:

1) He can be a fat Heavyweight

2) He can be an in-shape Cruiserweight

End of that particular story

Fight Aficionado

I put Price above Fury years ago when it appeared Fury was ducking a fight with him. Now obv things have changed, a lot. Price showed he’s chinny and Fury showed he’ll get up and fight harder if he hits the deck. He’d beat Thompson handily IMO.

Thompson talking up some retirement money..dont blame him,but Fury beats him…

okay if that match ever gets made, but who wins it? you think the old man has enough left to beat wilder?

oh come on, thompson went into the first fight as the underdog.

IF Thomson defeats Solis, Fury might be interested.

Thompson is living off his wins against a Greenhorn fighter like Price. Price only had 15 fights when he went in with Thompson, and only 1 of those went to the 4th round. Fury is way more seasoned than Price, and a much better all round fighter. He’d beat Thompson, Wilder, Arreola and Mansour comfortably. Both Fury and Chisora have fought good comp. Pulev is way overrated by some people, he is an efficient workhorse

TT always has a lot of stupid things to say. He did virtually nothing in his last Wladimir fight, and his Pulev fight, but try to survive and pick up his paycheck.

Wlad vs Fury — KO2 Wlad wins

Agree 1 billion percent with everything Thompson says. At least Price had the stones to step into the ring with a dangerous foe like Thompson.

Fury never fought a real challenge and Chisora lost every time he did. Their fight this summer won’t show us who has the best chance of beating Wlad. It just shows who has the least terrible odds.

Solis will beat Tony. But for Fury to beat Tony, it’s a long shot. Pulev would smash Fury as well, a reason he has avoided him thus far.

Solis will beat him easy. He’s not a big puncher, Solis is better at everything Thompson can do. Only a novice and staminaless fighter like David Price with lose in that fashion to Thompson. Except he hits tyson Fury with a Lucky punch, he’l get stopped in that fight. Wladimir already beat Thompson twice, what can he do different now at 42 that he didnt do in the previous fights? He can still headline a decent show, but his days as a contender are over even with Vitali retired, I dont see him winning against Wilder or Stivern. Even Chisora will rough him up at this stage

Poor delusional Tyson, what’s he going to do now since everyone wants to be the first to shatter that big mouth of his? I expect Tony to dominate him but not with ease.
