My question is why would November be to soon hell Floyd still in shape from the Cotto fight Ithink he could be ready in 2 months he took off for a year before and probably trained for 3 or 4 months.

Arum and Pac can go blow each other. The only way the little juicer becomes entertaining again is to fight either Mayweather or a young contender like Berto or Garcia. I’m sick of this freak show. There’s far more interesting stuff happening at super middleweight, middleweight and junior welterweight.

It’s getting harder each day to continue on this site. Bring back the old version. People liked it much better including myself. Love Manny, he’s the best ever, but the rematches need to be left alone. The Floyd fight would be good to see, but it’s lost all of it’s luster. They’re both past their primes. The fight would remind me of the second Leonard Hearns fight in which they were both shadows of their primes. If only Floyd hadn’t been so scared to fight. Destiny passed them both by. What shame.

Pac v Marquez wasn’t a disgrace. Pac outthrew and outlanded Marquez across the board. Marquez didn’t do enough to win.

And against Bradley Pacquaio won hands down. Outlanded, outgunned and threw the crisper harder shots.

Cotto is of course a viable oponent. But that fight already happened. I am sure Cotto can put on a better performance but this seems more like Arum trying to tie Cotto into another multi fight contract. Bradley & Marquez should be the clear priorities. Bradley is probably higher because he clearly lost the fight. Marquez will be put lower because he is a tougher opponent & Pac’s team haven’t been anxious to get in the ring with him. Now that it seems Pac has lost favor(?) with the judges an “offical” Marquez win seems more likely.

there should be no discussion. after the uproar caused by that close loss to Bradley, it only makes sense that a rematch be set for nov. 10. team Pac is afraid of a second, more convincing loss to bradley though, thats why it won’t happen. gotta love boxing!

its me earnie……you may be right about manny ‘getting old’….the guy has been in 54 pro fights……nowadays that is a lot of punishment for a 33 yr old man. WOrd has it he has been living a little hard…..outside the ring as well.
Bradley was right there in front of him all night long…..and he was still standing at the final bell.

Is Bradley that good..or has Pacquaio lost a half step ???

Pacquaio is also a congressman ….with a wife and family…..besides being a pro athlete …he is a public figure.

Whispers about gambling and partying….became louder…when Pacquaio’s family life started to sound a little shaky…..but supposedly that is all patched up.(Maybe Mosley told him how expensive it is to get a divorce when you are rich)
I don’t think Pacquaio was holding back in his last match against Bradley….he just could lay leather on the man

Isn’t PBF older than Pac? It certainly does not look like Pac is looking to fight Mayweather either, being that Pac is looking to fight cotto which he wants at another catch weight, marquez, a fourth fight that will probably end the same as the first three. And a fight with Timbo, which IMO Pac man beat pretty easily and i have no desire to watch it again, so Pac is not exactly taking himself out of the comfort zone either

Lots of folks believe Bradley was given a gift…..some think the reporting and commentating of the match…live…and post fight alike, were more akin to cheerleading than journalism….

I’d say the best money would be Bradley rematch……maybe the best fight too……IMHO
