philgoodMy question is why would November be to soon hell Floyd still in shape from the Cotto fight Ithink he could be ready in 2 months he took off for a year before and probably trained for 3 or 4 months. Posted August 7, 2012 6:41 pmThe PrinceArum, once again, only matching up his fighters, yet people still don’t see this. Posted August 7, 2012 10:50 amFight ScribePac will look good Posted August 7, 2012 5:55 amForealThis site is really hard on the eyes. The comment box for the older version was certainly better. Posted August 7, 2012 4:51 amForealNo more Top Rank fodder to feed Pacquiao. As soon as Arum ventures outside of his kraal, the final nail of the coffin will be hummered. Posted August 7, 2012 4:47 amForealEverything about Pacquiao looks really pathetic. He will certainly lose his next fight. Posted August 7, 2012 4:43 amBeefBurgerArum and Pac can go blow each other. The only way the little juicer becomes entertaining again is to fight either Mayweather or a young contender like Berto or Garcia. I’m sick of this freak show. There’s far more interesting stuff happening at super middleweight, middleweight and junior welterweight. Posted August 7, 2012 3:36 amte tumbaNO need to ARGUE WITH AN IDIOT!!! MendozaThis new format is really hard on the eyes with the white lines, electric yellow and glaring black background. Actually if the background was the same dark grey used in the “Comment” dialog box, it might help to soothe the eyes a little. Posted August 7, 2012 12:39 amM. MendozaBayamon, Puerto Rico: Agree, agree. Pacquiao should fight a new opponent even if it’s not Mayweather for now. Posted August 7, 2012 12:35 amArguingWithIdiotsLOL and LMAO, It seems the Pactards can’t hang with the site change. All the more reason to keep it the way it is. This change is better than it use to if you know how to use the links. This is much better. Posted August 6, 2012 11:51 pmhecdogIt’s getting harder each day to continue on this site. Bring back the old version. People liked it much better including myself. Love Manny, he’s the best ever, but the rematches need to be left alone. The Floyd fight would be good to see, but it’s lost all of it’s luster. They’re both past their primes. The fight would remind me of the second Leonard Hearns fight in which they were both shadows of their primes. If only Floyd hadn’t been so scared to fight. Destiny passed them both by. What shame. Posted August 6, 2012 11:33 pmjakepacman should fight marquez for the fouth time! Posted August 6, 2012 10:18 pmTomato CanWhen you lose two fights back to back, even if you really didn’t, your stature will take a hit. Manny needs a big win or maybe two to get the fans thinking hes the best again. Posted August 6, 2012 8:22 pmCALIBAYour not making sense. If what you say is true. Marquez should have won the second fight because he out landed Pac but still lost…try again. Posted August 6, 2012 7:25 pmCALIBAYou said it bro. If the win was so convincing and such a robbery why wouldn’t Pac want to avenge his “loss”? Mayweather rematched a controversial decision that he WON. See the difference??????? Posted August 6, 2012 7:23 pmBayamon, Puerto RicoI want to see Pacquiao fight new opponents. I`m tired of seeing him fight the same old retreads. Posted August 6, 2012 5:22 pmarwhate the new look and feel Posted August 6, 2012 3:56 pmBoxtradamusThis site has become SO WEAK that I retire from the site. Someone email me if they change it back Posted August 6, 2012 3:12 pmAnonymousPac v Marquez wasn’t a disgrace. Pac outthrew and outlanded Marquez across the board. Marquez didn’t do enough to win. And against Bradley Pacquaio won hands down. Outlanded, outgunned and threw the crisper harder shots. Posted August 6, 2012 2:41 pmDaraBradley got a gift against Pac. But the gift that Pac got in the last Marquez fight was a disgrace. Would never give Arum and the TV boys 1 cent from my pocket. Anybody who buys a fight that Arum is promoting needs their head tested. Posted August 6, 2012 2:18 pmDaraBoycott all of Arums fights. Posted August 6, 2012 2:14 pmE in DenverCotto is of course a viable oponent. But that fight already happened. I am sure Cotto can put on a better performance but this seems more like Arum trying to tie Cotto into another multi fight contract. Bradley & Marquez should be the clear priorities. Bradley is probably higher because he clearly lost the fight. Marquez will be put lower because he is a tougher opponent & Pac’s team haven’t been anxious to get in the ring with him. Now that it seems Pac has lost favor(?) with the judges an “offical” Marquez win seems more likely. Posted August 6, 2012 2:10 pmNasaDeenAGREED!!!!! STOP SUPPORTING TOP RANK PPVs! Simple as that. Nuff Said. Posted August 6, 2012 1:54 pmkylethere should be no discussion. after the uproar caused by that close loss to Bradley, it only makes sense that a rematch be set for nov. 10. team Pac is afraid of a second, more convincing loss to bradley though, thats why it won’t happen. gotta love boxing! Posted August 6, 2012 1:01 pmbikermikeits me earnie……you may be right about manny ‘getting old’….the guy has been in 54 pro fights……nowadays that is a lot of punishment for a 33 yr old man. WOrd has it he has been living a little hard…..outside the ring as well. Is Bradley that good..or has Pacquaio lost a half step ??? Pacquaio is also a congressman ….with a wife and family…..besides being a pro athlete …he is a public figure. Whispers about gambling and partying….became louder…when Pacquaio’s family life started to sound a little shaky…..but supposedly that is all patched up.(Maybe Mosley told him how expensive it is to get a divorce when you are rich) SheneI have absolutely no interest in any of these prospective fights nor would watch any of them, very sad. Posted August 6, 2012 12:31 pmThe KingslayerAnd what a surprise all four are rematches with fighters who are or were promoted by Top Rank. Posted August 6, 2012 11:36 amHappyboyArum at it again feedin gullible Pactards more Top Rank reruns. Has he started building the new stadium yet, btw is he ever gonna give us the tru ppv numbers for Pac vs Bradley? Posted August 6, 2012 11:30 amprof konjeCotto at a catchweight? Once again, manipulation by Arum. Why a catchweight? Because it will give Pacquaio an advantage (once again). Boring. Posted August 6, 2012 11:24 amJeffIsn’t PBF older than Pac? It certainly does not look like Pac is looking to fight Mayweather either, being that Pac is looking to fight cotto which he wants at another catch weight, marquez, a fourth fight that will probably end the same as the first three. And a fight with Timbo, which IMO Pac man beat pretty easily and i have no desire to watch it again, so Pac is not exactly taking himself out of the comfort zone either Posted August 6, 2012 11:21 ambikermikethere just ain’t gonna be a pbf Pacquaio match….unless Pacquaio ‘gets old’…If that is so……who wants to see a bigger guy slug around an old guy who is ten pounds lighter, slower and less agressive ??…cept pbf fans…and there ain’t enough of them to pay the training expenses…let alone pay the purse and promoters involved…..The time has passed for that match…a long time ago Posted August 6, 2012 10:52 ambikermikeLots of folks believe Bradley was given a gift…..some think the reporting and commentating of the match…live…and post fight alike, were more akin to cheerleading than journalism…. I’d say the best money would be Bradley rematch……maybe the best fight too……IMHO Posted August 6, 2012 10:48 am |
