Manny Pacquiao has carried the sport of boxing for more than a decade. Excitement, drama, historic fights have all become a part of the fighter most observers believe is the greatest fighter of all time. As we near the most anticipated fight in boxing history, the buzz has become louder and louder throughout the world. The gyms, restaurants, local businesses, all the media outlets including TV stations, Radio, and all the social networks have blown up. Earlier today, Boxing Legends Julio Cesar Chavez and Marco Antonio Barrera came by to cast their praise on Manny Pacquiao. What an unbelievable scene to see a three of the best ever meet inside the famous Wild card gym. Legends like these two only added to other legends visits since Manny Pacquiao arrived for his training camp in Los Angeles. The city of angles is beside itself as the world wants to see Manny Pacquiao. I took a break earlier in the day to do some jogging and set up a similar route to Manny’s route . I took my 3 dogs along with me, who by the way are named Pacman. We had a great jog. I returned home and put on my Manny Pacquiao six pack video and worked on my abs. I luckily caught a short clip of Manny doing some sparring followed by an interview. Manny is spitting fire, and trust me, there will be brutality and carnage on April 12. The man is in high gear, and his punches are coming faster than the human eye can see. I really do hope all boxing fans are tuning in to see this legend in action. He is a legitimate master piece that will not be around forever. When Manny Paacquiao retires, it will be like seeing Babe Ruth retire or more importantly like seeing a ROCKY movie without Sylvester Stallone. Life will not be the same, and Boxing will never recover. This fight against Timothy Bradley will be epic. Bradley has said things that have motivated Manny Pacquiao like never before. There’s something inside of Manny that no one can really see, but I can see it. There is as ROCKY said to PAULIE in the ROCKY BALBOA ” There’s still some stuff in the basement.” Manny Pacquiao is going to be dangerous. I can see Manny Pacquiao walking out with his smile, smiling and looking out at the crowd. He climbs the short stairs and weaves under the ropes and steps inside the ring to a thunderous applause. Car and earthquake alarms are set off. Manny’s standing ovation continues for 15 minutes. Timothy Bradley enters and no one sees him. Police try escorting him out, but realize he’s Manny’s opponent. Myself and the rest of the Manny Pacquiao fans have brought Manny Mania alive. My tickets have arrived, and my victory party is set to start three days out from the fight. Fasten your seat belts people, The champ is here. Manny is the best!

PutangInaMoPacquiao
The demand of Mayweather worked in favor of Pacquiao because his
political advisers warned Pacquiao never to fight Mayweather if he wants
to win his elections and Bob Arum used Mayweathers demands and America’s
hatred for the typical BLACK MAN in Mayweather made it appear that
Pacquiao is the good guy where in truth, Pacquiao is obviously the
BIGGEST FRAUD AND BIGGEST LIAR

Pacquiao and his camp are playing this
LIES GAME because they know Mayweather is all BAD NEWS for Pacquiao.
They don’t want to fight Mayweather because if Pacquiao loses to
Mayweather, Pacquiao’s political career will stink as bad as Pacquiao
really is. THAT IT THE TRUTH.

CMS – “You never completely recover from a shot like the one he took from Juan Manuel Marquez”. Not true. Many boxers come back from KO’s. Its the sustained beatings over rounds that do more damage.

I don’t see the decline in Pacquiao because he really beat Bradley, was beating Marquez until that punch and won handily against Rios. These losses are deceptive.

If Pacquiao loses to Bradley I will say call it a day. It was a great run. Until then, I’m willing to give Pacquiao another chance.

Manny is past his prime. He will never again put together a streak like he did years ago. Each fight might be Manny’s last. Makes it more exciting to a boxing fan, but Pac’s fans have to be sitting on pins and needles each time he fights now. He might be one solid shot away from retirement. You never completely recover from a shot like the one he took from Juan Manuel Marquez. A war against Bradley might spell doom for Manny. He’d better try to end it early, but Desert Storm might not cooperate.

Certainly for you it’s a simple question because you are asking it. Even more simple for you because you evaded my comment. I said that Morales had the opportunity to turn down a third fight with Pacquiao but he didn’t. He chose to get his a$$ kicked instead. How Morales looked is only an issue in your mind. Morales chose to fight Pac three times and he paid dearly for it. Blame it on anything you want. Pac kicked his butt. Twice.

Pac was never Tyson with head-movement. Tyson was taught reasons as to why you move your head in certain patterns and was drilled on anticipation. Other fighters want to copy Tyson and the “move your head” command but according to Rooney, they don’t know what they are doing.

If you look at how Tyson did it it is different than some guy just moving his head for the sake of it.

I never got the sense Roach knew how to teach proper head-movement that the likes of Patterson and Tyson knew.

Styles make fights

Mannys style he is a good puncher he has had power not too sure if he still does. He throws a lot of punches from awkward angles for the most part he loves to brawl. Outwork and beat you up he is not very technical but he knows how to trap you. But he is open to counters and can be easily hit he has a good chin but he has had his clock stopped more than once. Enter Floyd he is a counter puncher who from the first round established his rhythm and picks you apart he is perfectly fine with making you miss and pay because he know you cannot stop it every fight is nothing more than a sparring session with him he is not easily rattled and you cannot rough him up. You have to body shot him and jab hit anything he gives you arms elbows hips ribs because it will wear him down and you will not hit his head. But you will get hit a lot so you have to have excellence footwork and stamina, Trainers tell there fighters to rough him up but it ever works they playing checkers and he plays chess…

I’m not sure what is so hard to understand that the fight did not happen because of both parties didn’t want to budge from what they felt was right because both are trying to win inside and outside the ring.

“What PEDs? Oh, the imaginary PEDs!” but what isn’t imaginary is that Pacquiao* refused to defuse and shrug-off initial suspicion about him taking PEDs by frequently rejecting stricter anti-doping procedures. IMO, he’s simply been trying to postpone a lopsided loss to Mayweather but if I’m wrong, there is only one other reason that a prizefighter like Manny* would turn down a $25-$50 million payday to face his primary P4P rival over MUTUALLY-Applied testing.

Pacquiao* seems genuinely surprised whenever he lands a solid right-hand shot, which he neither sets up or features as part of a balanced offense. the elder “Mosley”? a PED-cheat that Mayweather compelled to test and beat the crap out of for 11 rounds? are you f’n kidding me? also, i DARE You to watch the Pacquiao* v. Morales looked like a concentration-camp survivor for the rubbermatch weigh-in and bout and never fought at 130lbs again. Pacquiao* remains the same predictable, single-fisted, one-dimensional puncher that he’s always been. it’s actually taken Manny* 10 years to NOT learn how to jab(?!). any top-notch boxer will dominate Pacquiao* and even average ones like Morales can contain and bust Manny* up for a convincing “W”. including a final-round charge for the KO win.

Manny Pacquiao has dominated boxing for over a decade. Voted Fighter of the Decade by boxing’s top writers was justice for a fighter that took on the best and beat the best. His 8 division world titles will never be seen again, ever. June of 03 defeats Ledwabe by TKO for a title. Nov 03 destroys the great Marco Antonio Barrera. May of 04 drops Marquez in round one and beats him around the ring for 12 rounds, and if not for a judge that admitted he scored a round wrong, Manny on paper would have received the in. Regardless, he won in the public eye. Jan of 06, destroys the great Erik Morales. Mar of 08 destroys Marquez. Dec of 08 destroys Oscar, the Golden Boy. May of 09 destroys Hatton. Nov of 09 Destroys The great Miguel Cotto. Nov of 2010 destroys Margarito. Nov of 2011 destroys Marquez and June of 2012 destroys Bradley as the robbery of the century is born. Nov of 2013, Manny puts on the greatest boxing exhibition ever bar none. April of 2014, Manny Pacquiao devastates Timothy Bradley to regain his stolen championship belt and bring justice to himself. Manny Pacquiao will go down in the history books as the greatest fighting machine ever. No one ha the speed, power, accuracy, agility, ring generalship or stamina that Manny Pacquiao posses, no one, Mayweather was in the decade that Manny Pacquiao as voted the Fighter of the Decade. The writers, fans and fighters all knew that Manny as unbeatable in that decade, and Floyd Mayweather would not have stood a chance, and that’s fact. Manny is a combination of Robinson, SRR Leonard, Duran, Hagler, Monzon,Chavez, Louis, Tyson, Ali and a few other great talents. April 12th will be Manny Pacquiao’s vindication day. Greatness will visit the boxing world again as Las Vegas will be packed. Floyd Mayweather’s home town where he resides will be Manny Pacquiao’s home while he is there as he is with the City of Los Angeles. Theere will never be another fighter that brings so much to the table. He changes every city he goes to. People love Manny Pacquiao, and his fighting ability has no equal. Keep your eyes on the TV on April 12 or you may miss one of the greatest knockouts of all time. Manny Pacquiao will be special on this night. Trust me, when Manny is motivated, focued and phyically and mentally prepared, no one beats him, no one. manny is the best!

Titopa – Morales outboxed Pacquiao in the first fight, but Pacquiao got progressively better in the next two fights, as Roach began to utilize the right hand more. The second Morales fight was when Pacquiao really began to develop and blossom in his golden period.

Hatton was a mauling brawler, but an effective and quality fighter.

Pacquiao did have improved head movement in the first few rounds of the fourth bout. Because your head movement is better, that does not mean you will not get hit.

This one will go to the cards with them having to fight for a 3rd time. This is another Manny vs. Marquez saga that goes on till this day. To TARK ,, of course some of the greats didn’t fight every possible contender . But they did fight the ones the boxing fans wanted them to fight ,,Can you just imagine if ” Ray Leonard ” would have not fought Hearns or Duran just because they were from a different promoter .like Mayweather is doing right now , Leonard would have been the laughing stock of boxing if he had done that excuse .

the accusation of “ducking” only applies if the duckee poses a realistic if not certain threat of defeating the presumed ducker. i challenge any of Floyd’s detractors to identify the individual that Floyd avoided to preserve his “0″. Pacquiao* is not an option since it’s glaringly obvious that he is the one who avoided Mayweather among several others. all of whom had a realistic chance of defeating Pacquiao*.

TARK

Those “greats” in the ’80s didn’t fight everyone.

Leonard and Hearns sure as Hell ducked Mike McCallum and Michael Nunn — especially when they were the top contenders for Leonard’s middleweight title… Leonard allowed his title to be stripped and he went looking for another one … and an easier opponent.

Floyd didn’t invent ducking… Some fans act like he did.

He’s fast, powerful and punches at odd angles and often punches through a fighter’s guard. He also has dazzling footwork. That will give any boxer fits. Manny Pacquiao is arguably the greatest prize fighter of all time, and with good cause. Manny Pacquiao’s answers and body language cannot be deciphered by what a person thinks he sees. Everyone has their own perception, and it’s ludicrous to think Manny is even remotely unsure. Trust me, I know the man better than most, and if there is someone qualified to read the man, it’s me. First off, I think it would appropriate to have a qualified translator to get Manny’s point across clearly. He occasionally has difficulty using the correct words to describe what he wants to get across. If he was explaining something in his native language, there would be no miscommunication in any way. Secondly, Timothy Bradley is trying to ruffle his own feathers by talking the talk, and posing like he’s always been confident that he could beat manny Pacquiao. He sure was singing a different song after their first fight. Bradley now beats an aging Marquez, and now he thinks he has the strategy and ability to beat a Manny Pacquiao that he sees as lacking in confidence and has lost his killer instinct. Fighters don’t lose their killer instinct. They lose their will to compete. Manny Pacquiao has lot neither. As a matter of fact, as I closely watch and study Manany Pacquiao, I see a Monster that is about to painfully destroy anyone, not just Timothy Bradley. Manny Pacquiao will begin his second reign of terror as readies himself to beat Bradley, Garcia, Porter, Broner, Canelo and Mikey Garcia. Do not underestimate a fighter of Manny Pacquiao’s ability and intelligence. If Ped Man Marquez wants another fight, please come on and bring that beat up, substance abused, fragile body to the table so that the ring legend, Manny Pacquiao ends your career for good. Floyd obviously wants no part of Manny, and once he sees Manny destroy Timothy Bradley, Mayweather will keep his phone off and doors locked. I took a glimpse of Manny’s sparring earlier, and I will tell you one thing right now. Manny will stop Bradley inside of 4 rounds or no later than 9. Ali, Duran, Robinson, Bruce Lee, Hulk Hogan, Leonard, Chavez, GSP or any other fighter beats manny Pacquiao when he is physically and mentally ready and focused, no one. Forget the cold that he had. Forget his age. Forget who’s in his camp. A few things you don’t forget about Manny Pacquiao is his extraordinary boxing skills. You don’t forget his God given natural power. You don’t forget what he is capable of doing. And you don’t forget that this fighting machine is one of a kind. He will do what everyone thinks he can’t do. Keep your eyes open on April 12 because Manny Pacquiao will defeat Timothy Bradley in a dramatic and stunning fashion. Once the fight is over, everyone will believe and agree that Manny Pacquiao should be considered the greatest fighting machine of all time. Don’t miss this fight. manny is going to do something special. Trust me on this. Manny is the best!

Tomato Can Stan – Didn’t Morales outbox him? He sure did. Then went on to fight two more times at a weight he completely outgrew…Didn’t Marquez essentially outbox him? Hatton was and is NOT a boxer…he’s a mauling brawler. He got Barrera, can’t argue that one, even though Barerra was at the tail end of his career in their 2nd fight. Cotto had to make 145 at a point in which his face would not hold up, hit with bricks for 11 rounds and had a BAD cut vs Clottey in which he barely won. De La Hoya? You mean the cadaver? okay. That version of Mosley was awful, you know that, didn’t he just score a damn draw vs Mora? LOL c’mon!

hecubus – If it were the Mosley of 2008 or 2009, maybe, but that was the version of Mosley who looked his age vs Sergio Mora..where he scored a draw. Cotto’s face had just been through two wars, hit with bricks for 11 rounds and had a vagina on his face vs Clottey, where he barely squeaked by…then fights Pac at a catchweight? Bad example. Pac NEVER really ‘beat’ Marquez, if he did, they wouldn’t have fought more than twice. I’ll give him Barerra, although old(er)..but Morales outboxed him in their first fight…in their next two fights Morales couldn’t make the weight, and it showed…he went on to fight fairly well at 140-147.

Titopa – “Tell me, which other truly skilled boxer has Pacquiao beaten?”

I think Morales, Marquez, Barrera, Cotto, de la Hoya, Mosley and Hatton is a superb resume. And lets not forget Pacquiao dispatched some of these opponents much more quickly, decisively and impressively than Mayweather did, and Pacquiao fought some of them first and Floyd got the left overs.

Also, Mosley and Cotto were knockd down only once before in their careers before Pacquiao got to them.

You speak of Pacquiao “struggling” with Marquez, but Mayweather was bloodied and busted up by Cotto, whereas Pacquiao made short work of him.

Its a matter of styles.

Pacquiao beats a stationary fighter in Rios and suddenly “he’s back”? I ain’t buying it. Just like Canelo beating up on Angulo, what happened when he faced a man (Floyd) who can really box? Let me guess, they forgot? Hmm.

Titopa – “..thus producing one of the most brutal KO’s in history”

If you want to focus on that one emphatic KO, that’s up for debate, but I think in their overall classic rivalry, when you do the math and total it up, Pacquiao had the edge, stats-wise and aggression-wise.

It depends what you value as a judge, counterpunching or effective aggressiveness, hence the controversy over these fights.

“The sense of urgency troubled Pacquioa”

How can you say a sense of urgency “troubled” Pacquiao when he was winning up to that point, or it was at least even ? It was still early in the fight.

Also, there was one point in the fight, where Pacquiao was on the verge of stopping Marquez but the bell rang. I don’t recall the round.

I admire Marquez’s toughness, but he was getting beat up, the knock down aside.

Posted March 24, 2014 2:10 pm

Titopa

Tomato Can Stan – My point being that Pacquiao gradually did worse vs Marquez, in the 4th, Marquez did MUCH better…he not only hit Pac with a punch “a blind man would’ve seen coming” but he continuously countered him at will, timing him with pin point accuracy..thus producing one of the most brutal KO’s in history.

Posted March 24, 2014 2:09 pm

TARK

Tomato Can Stan,

Excuses??? What are you talking about? This is reality. You go for the win not the KO; that’s what they teach you from day one. Win the round you’re in. Focus on scoring and defending. If a KO presents itself fine; take it. But you’re often not fighting a high quality opponent if it does.

It’s easy for your chief second to demand a KO.

If you’re a great puncher like Golovkin or Kovalev you’ll probably approach it a little differently, but if you’re Pacquiao at 147, just ask yourself how many guys you’ve knocked out lately at that weight. How many times Bradley has been stopped? Risks are easy to take. Once a fight is lost you can’t go back and refight it.

Only that it was Marquez who showed us how to shine when the pressure gets turned up. Pacquioa sensed the pressure and instead tried to go for a kill only to be trapped by a superior warrior at the other end. Countered! KO! the end…

Plankman – “1 out of 2 Marquez’s knockdowns almost sent Pacquioa to the grave”.

The second knockdown did, but I disagree with you on the first one. I think it only pissed Manny off more, and many fighters are even more dangerous when knocked down. Pacquiao had a cold, steely look of determination after that first knock down. In fact Nacho Berstain said he thought Marquez was in deep trouble after that.

Posted March 24, 2014 1:58 pm

Poor pacturds.

Manny got KTFO by Marquez when was the last time he beat a fighter without them meeting him at some catch weight or them having weight issues? Or what was the last undefeated fighter Manny beat? If they are in is weight class he has a hard time beating them convincingly that’s why he has to fight all these guys over and over and its been like that his entire career. Now he is exposed for the hype job he is who juiced to beat dehydrated fighters dumb enough to come down from 154 to 147. Now his rein is over betwwen Bradley and Marquez 5 Manny get his ass handed to him he was never on Floyds level. Floyd walked all over Marquez Mannys nemesis they same guy that dropped him. Now is ppv sales suck and he is irrelevant because he was never sht without juice in the first place. And if the was clean why wouldn’t he submit to blood testing if Arum his master could manipulate when and how they could test him. I am so glad the public is to smart to be fooled by the tactics of corruption. Manny walked away from Floyd and 40 million in 09, Now Floyd continues to make Money more than anyone in the history of the sport and Manny cant even get 1 million ppvs and is 70 million in back taxes tot he IRS.

Tomato- He landed more but he DID miss more. He threw like 1000 punches only to land about half of those. Marquez threw less and landed less but he missed less. His percentage of connected punches was MORE than Pacquioa’s. 1 out of 2 Marquez’s knockdowns almost sent Pacquioa to the grave. That’s why his knockdown’s counted more. Marquez may have been knocked down more times but like all warriors he came back and fought a brave fight only to lose the battle at the hands of the judges.

Manny Pacquiao, arguably the greatest fighter of all time will have no mercy on Timothy Bradley this time around. Some of you must recall that Manny came back from the loss to Ped Man Marquez, took a year off and put on one of the greatest boxing clinics ever seen. No one had ever thought that Manny Pacquiao could reinvent himself from the greatest offensive fighting machine in boxing history to a graceful, agile, poetic boxer with a defensive mechanism that only technology could create. A master performance that no one expected. The crowd in attendance gasped in awe as they witnessed Manny Pacquiao turn boxing into an art of beauty. This is a man that no one thought could ever come back. Today, he continues adding to his legend at the famous Wild Card Gym. One sparring partner for Manny Pacquiao, Lydel Rhodes said after sparring the legend “I can’t see his punches coming.” This gives you an inside glance as to what Timothy Bradley will be up against. There are current rumors at the Wild Card gym that sparring partners for Manny have given orders to their trainers to actually yell out “Incoming” 5 seconds before Manny throws his punches. Manny Pacquiao is on fire right now, and he means business. I have been following Manny Pacquiao for awhile, and I can tell you with certainty that Timothy Bradley will be stopped before round 4 or no later than round 9. Forget what Manny seems like or what Timothy Bradley says, Manny is correct when he says “My time is not yet over.” Every great fighter has more in the tank than people know. We know of a handful of great fighters that have suffered bad defeats only to come back with devastating wins. This will be the case with Manny Pacquiao. He is a fighter that stands alone and a foot above any fighter that has ever stepped into the boxing ring. Most boxing observers and fans have seen only half of what Manny Pacquiao is capable of. Those that don’t like Manny Pacquiao are coming up with their wishful thinking as to why he won’t be the same. Mayweather and Ped Man Marquez are shaking in their shoes hoping Manny doesn’t win. They fear what monster has been let loose. The heart beat of Boxing is riding on Manny Pacquiao. More fans in the USA are pulling for Manny to win this fight than in the Philippines, and that speaks volumes about Manny Pacquiao’s popularity and the love people have for him. His current training in Los Angeles has set attendance records at Griffith Park from fans wanting to catch a glimpse of this warrior. The world will stop for a brief moment on April 12 because this is an event of epic proportions. Manny’s time is not finished yet, and he’s going to prove it on April 12, trust me on this. Manny is the best!

My question is DID YOU forget about Marquez’s knockdowns? His knock downs counted MORE than Pacquioa’s. Was Marquez ever put down like Paquioa? Out-landed? Marquez had the more precise punches…thats why his counted more and always ended in controversy. Pacquioa would miss. Marquez would counter and were more effective as you can clearly see in the last outcome of their last fight. That’s what a precise and sharp counterpuncher will do to you. Pay for your mistakes and Marquez is older than Pacquioa. Thats saying alot. Pacquioa struggled with an aging fighter. Could not put away a young punching bag Rios. Tomato Can Stan – Rio? C’mon. He doesn’t have a fraction of the boxing ability Marquez does, I’d also pick Bradley to outbox him, Alvarado too outboxed Rios. People (myself included) question Pac’s desire (fire) cause of how he looked vs guys with real boxing ability. Even though he “beat” Bradley, he didn’t look very good, Provo looked better vs Bradley. Did you forget that Pacquiao was once again being countered at will by Marquez? Did you forget Marquez dropped Pac in the 3rd with a punch “a blind man could’ve seen coming”? You have to remember, the little bit of good Pac did vs Marquez is due to him knowing Marquez, they’ve fought so many times that he should look good every time..no matter what.

Bradley is gonna give Pacquiao tons of trouble. You’ll see. Win or lose, Pacquiao is NOT gonna look like he did against Rios, cause unlike Rios, Bradley knows how to use the rings, he doesn’t stand straight up or block with his face…I see Bradley outboxing Pacquiao, with Pacquiao possibly landing the harder more “telling” blows. I won’t be surprised to see Bradley lose a controversial decision…ala Pacquiao vs Marquez II.

His recent performances have been less than impressive since getting knocked out. A sign he is almost out the door. Bradley has improved and Pacquioa has declined. Bradley by UD.

“Try watching Marciano/Walcott II, Louis/Schmeling II, Jones/Tarver II, Ali/Liston II, Robinson/Fullmer II”

Walcott could have gotten up easily, but didn’t. Schmeling was in wretched shape compared to the first Louis-Schmeling fight. Tarver stopped Jones once in 3 fights but gave him a good beating in the first fight. It almost seemed like Tarver was scared of hurting Roy in the 3rd fight. It was a sparring session, with Jones conceding the fight. Ali threw a weak “phantom punch” that didn’t knock Liston out. Robinson won only 1 of 4 fights with Fullmer.

The chances of Pacquiao KOing Bradley are about the same as JMM KOing Pac if they fought again – maybe 10% at best. Better he goes for the points win—that’s about a 75% likelihood. If you flip a coin twice and it comes up heads both times? That about the chance Bradley has of winning this fight.

It’s one Hell of a lot more dicey than Rios. It’s pretty scary for the Pac team.

“If Pacquioa couldn’t put away Bradley hes not gonna do it this time”. Pacquiao did it with Morales and try watching Marciano/Walcott II, Louis/Schmeling II, Jones/Tarver II, Ali/Liston II, Robinson/Fullmer II…..etc.

Robinson is better than Ali so is Louis. Just because he called himself the greatest doesn’t make it so. Anyways, yes Ali, Robinson, Louis and Floyd are and will rank higher than manny in over all greatness. Long live the p4p king
Posted March 24, 2014 5:48 am

Not quite so if you really look at it. Remember, you would have to put “P4P” in the discussion since in truth, Ali and Louis would KO Robinson.

And Floyd is lucky that the likes of Robinson, Hearns, SRL, etc. are not swimming in the WW division.

If Pacquioa couldn’t put away Bradley hes not gonna do it this time. Since then Bradley has beaten Pacquioa’s nemesis. He is STILL undefeated and has gain a vast amout of experience. Pacquioa since getting KTFO hasn’t done anything impressive.

Boxers have come back from one punch KO’s. It the sustained beatings over many rounds that permanently damage a fighter.

I don’t normally read much into the “mind games” and stuff, but Pacquiao in the Face-Off did look somewhat doubtful of himself. I know he’s generally humble, but this looked different… like he really was second guessing his own level of motivation.
That said, even a half-motivated Pacquiao is a force to be reckoned with.

This fight will go much the same as the first. Dominant win by the pacman. Yes, he is fading, but let’s not forget he is in his mid thirties and has had 60+ fights.

Bradley will be a tough nut to crack….But saying Manny has lost it,maybe, but out of the two of them Tim took the prolonged hammering out of the last 2 fights…..This will be a long hard fight, the judges seem to like to like Tim…but I think Manny will take him……People please stop coming on here and telling us how you know fighters are juicing, you clearly do not….But you clearly do sound pathetic……

Manny cannot win without juice, his skills have gone way down along with his ppv attraction. This fight is a no sale now after this there will be a Marquez 5. My guess is he don’t make it past Bradley though Arum really messed him up by making him fight the same guys over and over. But if he fought Floyd back in 09 of course he would have lost but he would have made more money than fighting with anyone else now he has zero.

first and for most i want to say that ive been watching tim bradley since and before the junior whitter fight and he is a great fighter.i also believe that all thou a spirited fight he lost the first fight with paqiou just based on activity.i also agree that paqiou has lost his killer instinct, energy like that isnt ment to last.but i also believe in metemorhus, transfermation.he might not be as agressive as before but he can now box a little bit better and set up his shots and more importanlty not get hit as much.i for 1 will buy this fight just to see paqiou get his revenge, or see his demise.i owe paqiou that, hes given me some of the best memories of my life.

The Roided One!

Timothy is most likely using that reasoning to psyche PacROID* out…so that PacROID* will come in like he* did against Marquez and get countered the entire fight! A roided man has aggression that can be called upon at ANY time. PacROID* chooses to turn it off at times because he knows he’s picked weaker opposition to take advantage of. He reads the criticisms of his catchweight fiascos, so he doesnt want to look like a complete bully for “da fans an da people” he likes to keep “happy.”

He was an aggressive monster for Marquez until he got clocked, but toned it down out of guilt for picking a lighter individual that lost 2 of his last fights in Rios. The latter appeals to his gullible fans that think he’s so sweet & tenderhearted as he sings & smiles – after they forgot how intensely he* tried to take Marquezs head off – in his* other version of love & tenderness! PacROID* has lost NOTHING in terms of aggression or killer instinct! His* lack of money will allow him to keep it going “if” ever he was to slightly find himself losing it! I assure you he hasnt lost a thing!!

Pacquiao v Rios was a comeback fight, he will box Bradley but I think he will try for the KO at some point in the fight.

Posted March 23, 2014 11:02 pm

TARK

Bradley is employing what he believes is a clever strategy.

He’s trying to bait Pacquiao. He wants Pacquiao to attack and try to K him TFO so he can pick him off coming in. Make Pacquiao do all the work. Basically that was Tim’s strategy for the Marquez fight and it worked very well.

Pacquiao is too clever to fall for baiting tactics — especially since JMM IV woke him up. Bradley is a weak hitter—but not so weak you can afford to be stupid.

Pac’s plan will basically be the same game he used against Rios.. Use angles, use the jab, defend well, counter well, win each round convincingly, and dominate.. Don’t try for the KO … because nothing is dumber than that.

Pac was a big bomber from 112 to 135… but he’s not so much at welterweight … any more than Floyd is. What he CAN do is kick ass and beat the Hell out of you over 12 rounds if he stays disciiplined and fights his fight.

Do you really think Pacquiao is interested in this face off thing, (Americans are, like soap operas)Bradley saying this and that, Pacquiao is not interested in who won face off, you stared me out, he is not interested in silly stuff, what he will be interested in is beating up Bradley in the actual Boxing fight.

Posted March 23, 2014 10:29 pm

I thought it was funny when Pacquiao said our term for boxing is running. Then he turned around and said he boxed. err ran against Rios. Pacquiao did well on face off considering English isn’t his first language, but Tim talked him into a couple of corners. Face off was won by Bradley.

poor pacturds

What was the last time Manny beat a undefeated fighter? Second if someone wasn’t dehydrated at a catch weight he couldn’t dominate them. The last good credible fighter Manny beat was Cotto in 09. Since then he lost 2 out of his last 3 fights and has had no KOs. How can this guy stop fighters like Oscar, Cotto and Margecheato but cannot stop Bradley, Marquez or Rios? Poor ass clowns, guys who have juiced in the past skills have declined fast as well. Roy Jones, Holyfield, James Toney, Barry bonds the list goes on. Manny climbed 8 divisions and gained speed and power not to mention he could take shots from these bigger guys. Name one other fighter in the history of the sport who has done that? None because its not happing not without PEDs, Now he cannot juice because he is exposed now he looses and losses bad.

Floyd’s issue

Catchweights are also done by other fighters like Floyd, who dehydrated Alavarez to 152lbs and cheated in the Marquez fight despite agreeing to a catchweight of 144lbs. Pac is a little guy compared to Floyd. I agree that catchweight should not be performed, but it has been done before in boxing and will continue after Pac’s career over.
You have no evidence that Pac is juicing, therefore shut the fck up. As far as I am concerned, Floyd might be juicing. He outspeeds everybody, is getting faster with age. He also is more muscular and defined compared to his younger self. Strange.
By the way, Pac will not end up sad, he is respected by his people and not a crook like Floyd, who will end up sad, because he will eventually go to jail. He tries hard not to, but he is garbage and it is just a matter of time, before he will get into trouble again, no doubt about it. Cheers.

Posted March 23, 2014 9:13 pm

teflon

Manny didn’t sound to confident in his ability in this face off. He lost his mojo when he got dropped by Marquez. Two things happened he could no longer sham fighters into meeting him at a dehydrated catch weight and he could no longer get away with juicing due to the allegations by Floyd so yes his fate is sealed now even if he looses and looses badly he still has to fight on because he is in a lot of debt. Mannys story like so many other great fighters will end sad…

Posted March 23, 2014 9:03 pm

Floyd’s issue

Pacquiao is a great fighter and an ATG. He will prove it one more time although he doesn’t need to. Bradley is not in his class. With regards to Marquez, styles make fights. That’s all I have to say. Floyd fans just envy Pac because he excites masses where Floyd bores them. People just tune in to see Floyd lose because he is an arrogant prick. That’s all.

Bradley is going to get hurt in this one. Too tough for his own good.

Posted March 23, 2014 8:48 pm

powerhands

I commend any man that steps in the ring. But I feel Bradley is garbage. He swings with his eyes closed, he’s wild, and he fights off his dads juice. Which is cool. To me Bradley was blessed with the victories over Ruslan and PAC. PAC was the champ, and to me you have to really beat the heck out of a champ to take his title. For PAC to be humble during the face off, and for Bradley to constantly say my time is still here and you don’t have that fire anymore, PAC has got do be thinking, “l can not possibly let this guy beat me again.” “I got to get the belt back before some one else get it.” Bradley is to tense. I’m not a PAC fan, but Bradley is shi_ _y.

Posted March 23, 2014 8:45 pm

CurlyQ.Howard

Fire or no fire, if Manny out punches Bradley as much as he did in the first fight, I doubt that Bradley will be gifted a decision this fight as well. Total punches landed: P= 253 and B= 159. Jabs landed: P= 63 and B= 51. Power punches landed: P= 190 and B= 108. Plus, P had a higher percentage of his punches land than did B.

BOXING ART

Marquez vs. Pacquiao was #1 for Pacquiao; #2 was a draw; #3 for Marquez. Before the #4 each had one victory. Bradley vs. Pacquiao, #1 for Pacquiao; #2 who knows? Each boxer should get credit for their victories and not use blanket statements to mean that they never won anything. If Bradley wins rematch, it will never mean that he won the first one. Each fight should be analyzed separately and not treated equally. They are not.

I hope Pacquiao beats Bradley….again. IMO, Pacman was sold out by his own promoter, Bob Arum. He paid the judges to pick Bradley. After all no one had more to gain than Top Rank. They needed a legitimate non-Mayweather opponent for Pacquiao. They had already invested in Bradley and needed him to win (A) to create a demand for a rematch and (B) to create a viable opponent for Marquez. Obviously I can’t prove that, but it makes sense.

Prof Konje

Time will chip away at any fighter’s skills. While the desire may still be there, the ability may not be. Bradley is no joke. He may not be a knock-out puncher, but he has stamina. He fights every round like it’s the first round. If Pacquaio does win, I prefer not to see him face Marquez again and really don’t want to hear about him and Mayweather either. Let’s all move on.

Posted March 23, 2014 8:00 pm

Odd Ball

It wasn’t fire that Pac lost. it was self-confidence. Pac never had any defense to speak of. His defense is offense with reckless abandon. It worked for him when we was at lighter weight classes because he was more muscular and stronger than his oppositions. When he went up in weight he was matched with popular fighters on the twilight of their careers. And those fights were held with a huge advantage for Pac — the catchweight clauses. But you can only milk that cow so much. Pac is done. Floyd did him in without fighting him. When Floyd insinuated that Pac maybe juicing, Pac`s career went down on a spiral. He was spooked by the possibility that he would get caught sith PED in his veins if he didnt stop. And then Marquez nailed the last nail in Pac`s coffin. Pac is done. Exposed as the hype that he has always been.
