What happens when a fighter is allready thinking of his next fight and over looks his current fight? I don’t think khan is even good enough to beat cozzallo and if he dose he won’t look good. I’m hoping cozzallo knocks him out like Ortiz.Posted March 26, 2014 8:16 am
EZ E is right… Khan is not a hot fighter so why add him to the undercard? Garcia-Matthysse made a lot of sense and was a dynamite attraction… Khan-Collazo??? Not so much.
It’s pretty obvious Floyd would like to fight overseas before he’s done… He already said he’s not fighting beyond next year and still wants to avoid Lara or Pacquiao at ALL COSTS.. With so few fights to go why take chances?
Only 3 more matchups to get past after Maidana — if he can line up Amir Khan that makes two… Floyd is smiling He’s almost got the “O” locked in concrete now.Posted March 26, 2014 12:13 am
In the photo, David appears to be suckin his teeth and about to back-hand Khan, even though he has his apostrophe bag on his lap.Posted March 25, 2014 9:17 pm
May as well get his little nutsack out as well while he’s at it.Posted March 25, 2014 9:06 pm
I’d have preferred Khan vs Broner. So far this card isn’t worth my hard-earned money.
Posted March 25, 2014 2:52 pm
^true indeed. of course, broner now fully understands his boundaries. the welterweight division is for big boys, not big mouths. medicine man maidana!Posted March 25, 2014 7:24 pm
PPVs aren’t gonna get any cheaper. I remember when they used to be 29.99. Those days are long gone. It is only going to go up and up just like gas prices.

Khan has elite speed but that’s about it. Beating Callazo would NOT put him above Bradley or Pacman. It puts him about even with Berto since Callazo was beaten by Berto. Now, does Berto deserve a shot at pbf??Posted March 25, 2014 5:27 pm
After Pbf easily dominates Maidana for as long as it lasts, he should be fighting the winner of Bradley and Pacman. The winner of that fight definitely puts them at the #2 spot at 147lbs, right behind Pbf. It was seem ridiculous if pbf fights anyone else besides the winner of that fight. And i don’t buy into the whole “doing business with Arum” bit. If the money is there, it makes sense. Does anyone actually believe Khan would generate more money than Bradley or Pacman??? I sure hope not.Posted March 25, 2014 5:21 pm

“Anyone who knows boxing knows that Maidana will not win a single round.”
Well said Harry. Fraud doesn’t fight anyone who can beat him, that would be silly. He’s the biggest con artist in boxing, and his fans have been well and truly suckered by him but they’re too dumb to see it. LMAO!!!Posted March 25, 2014 2:41 pm
P.S. If you’re happy to pay £50 to watch a sporting event on TV — especially one the outcome of which is entirely predictable — yes, I think you have too much money. Would you also pay £50 to watch a concert on TV? Maybe you would, but I think you’re mad.
If I’m paying £50 to watch a show, I at least want to be in the arena where it’s happening! The fact that people take it for granted that they’ll have to pay that much money just to watch something at home on TV I find utterly baffling, frankly.
However, that’s an aside. I was specifically talking about boxing promoters making themselves filthy rich by taking gullible people (i.e. those who will pay for Mayweather-Maidana because they think there’s a chance Maidana might make it competitive) for a ride. Anyone who knows boxing knows that Maidana will not win a single round.Posted March 25, 2014 2:34 pm
I gave my reasons: people should be boycotting the PPVs until the fights people want to see are made — foremost among them being Mayweather vs Pacquiao, but there are lots of others that have been a casualty of the Showtime/HBO rivalry. My point was that a lot of the people who complain that Mayweather gets filthy rich but avoids any real challenges nevertheless go and buy the PPV at the end of the day anyway, apparently not realising that they are effectively Floyd’s employers: if they stop buying the fights, he doesn’t get paid. If you’re not that interested in who’s fighting and just want a bit of light entertainment, fine, but then I don’t see why you don’t just watch Friday Night Fights or wrestling or whatever. Personally I don’t see much entertainment in watching Floyd staging yet another shut-out against another crude fighter like Maidana, because we know exactly what’s going to happen. I take it you’re a more casual fan of boxing. Again, that’s fine, but you’re obviously going to get some fairly hardcore fans posting on here too, and I am by no means the only one who has this opinion about Floyd’s PPVs.Posted March 25, 2014 2:26 pm
PPV’s tend to be overpriced though. At $70, you better give me a loaded card. But they’ll charge as much as they can as long as they can get it and I don’t blame them. Its all in the hands of the buyer though so there is no blaming the fighter, only the buyer.Posted March 25, 2014 2:24 pm
I find it very, very strange that people get upset at other people for wanting to enjoy a fight by purchasing Pay Per View Events. Please see the comments by @Harry where he states: “I won’t be watching, though no doubt plenty of gullible f uckers will buy the PPV”. Harry $50 – $ 60 dollars to me a few times a year is no big deal for most people. I do not expect a PPV event to cure cancer and or aides- it is just an excuse to get family and friends together to have a bbq, some beers, and watch a fight or two. Why does my wish to do that make a “gullible f’er” as you call me. Why can’t i just be a guy who likes boxing, who got a good enough education to where I have a great job that allows me to spend $50 or $60 bucks whenever I want to, to buy a fight, and then get pleasantly drunk while yelling at the screen. Boxing is entertainment- not the answer to all of the worlds problems. If it the real reason you are so pissed is because you can’t afford 50 buck- put your number down- I’ll give you a call and you can come over and watch the fight free with me- one of your so called gullible f’er.. Chill out dude boxing match-ups and PPV Cards are really not that serious.
Well people think music, movies, and sports and other things should all be free. Of course they want to get paid for their work but they don’t want to pay others for theirs.
My point was that certain fights are worth it and others aren’t.Posted March 25, 2014 2:22 pm
Khan looking past Collazo is going to blow up in his face. You’ll see.Posted March 25, 2014 1:55 pm

Vivian Harris made the same mistake overlooking his opponent to call out the headliner (coincidentally Jr). Harris got KTFO on the under card. Khan looks past Luis at his own peril. Hunter better start writing his excuses now. Just in case.Posted March 25, 2014 12:06 pm

Good point, I think Frankie Gavin beats both Khan and Brook. He’s by far the better boxer, if he had good KO power he’d be one of the best in the world. Frankie is a great talent. Hope it doesn’t go to waste. Would be great to see him in a world title.Posted March 25, 2014 11:41 am
Styles make fights
Kahn is delusional and obsessed Floyd is toying with him. People have told him he could win or he is just wanting a big pay day. Look at the styles Kahn is fast and slick but he doesn’t have good defensive skill he cannot see punches coming and he has a glass jaw. The throws wide and can be easily countered. Floyd he runs about 12 miles a day he don’t drink or smoke he is a gym rat. He pick his shots and is accurate defensive master and counter puncher. He is a rhythm fighter who is perfected the shoulder roll to make you miss and counter. Kahn is too one dimensional but Floyd can be beat but it takes two things either father time or a fighter like Sugar Ray Robinson who is n excellent shape who works off the jab and can adjust when he does. You cannot rough him up that wont work you have to go to his body a lot and jab hot anything hips arms elbows because he is too elusive to land on his head. He hates to be jabbed because it offsets his rhythm. Problem is he will make you stop using it by countering and body shots. Like he did Oscar who had a real good chance of winning but again he ran out of gas like all the rest.Posted March 25, 2014 11:37 am
WOW!!! little floyd better run and hide…..Posted March 25, 2014 11:32 am
Inside fighting seems to becoming a lost art.
Per the Victor vs Luis fight; Luis seems to like to fight on
Question is will this be enough to win over Khan.Posted March 25, 2014 11:27 am
Why would you help Mayweather PPV sales by fighting on his undercard when you still don’t have a signed contract that he will fight you next?
You can fight Collazo on your own card.Posted March 25, 2014 11:01 am
Amir is delusional. He will lose to Collazo. I won’t be watching, though no doubt plenty of gullible f uckers will buy the PPV — and then moan about how they don’t get to see the fights they really want to see. Yet they’ll still go ahead and buy Mayweather-Collazo when that is made, all the while moaning that he should be facing Pacquiao or whoever.
It’s these retarded “fans” who are ruining boxing. If they weren’t utterly fukcing retarded they’d boycott all PPVs until the fights they really want to see are made. I’m sick and tired of the greed of boxing promoters, and the stupidity of the boxing fans they leach off.Posted March 25, 2014 10:32 am

So basically he is gonna concentrate on Floyd. Good, let him look past Collazo so he can go ahead and get beat. Tired of KhanPosted March 25, 2014 9:30 am
Floyd obviously thinks Khan has the overseas following like HattonPosted March 25, 2014 9:19 am
WHAT ARE FLOYD’S TRUE INTENTIONS BEHIND ADDING KHAN TO THE PPV CARD?? No doubt Floyd wanted to sell us a fight between him and Khan, going as far as resorting to a BOGUS poll, but the outcry of the fans changed his plans. There’s something to this. Khan want Floyd for obvious reasons and… could be that Floyd wants Khan. Again, what are Floyd’s TRUE intention behind adding Khan to the PPV?? I smell a ‘rat’.Posted March 25, 2014 9:10 am
Jonn E. JaGozza, I agree he should be looking for a Garcia fight mainly because the Peterson victory was clouded immensely by the points deductions, man in the hat and the fact that Lamon was on Peds (in reality should be a no contest). He could also chase Lamon to set the record straight but Garcia is the fight a fighter would in Khans position but who can blame him chasing the money FMJ brings!Posted March 25, 2014 8:52 am

As I’v said many times before , Khan’s obsession with Mayweatehr is only for a BIG pay day but if he were truely a great fighter you think he’d be trying to avenge his losses. He lost to Lamont Perterson and Danny Garcia , Call either one of them out first before you

Collazo stops him late. Apart from speed and fast hands, what else does he have?Posted March 25, 2014 12:28 am
Khan has a large fanbase? Maybe in Pakistan yeah. Even if he beats Collazo, he needs to fight 3 or 4 more top 10 guys at 147 AND beat them convincingly before even being considered as a possible opponent for Mayweather….he has done NOTHING to remotely deserve a shot, he is on the decline and he knows it and just hopes to cash out with a Mayweather fight. What on earth makes him think he deserves a fight with Mayweather if he beats Collazo? Heres hoping and suspecting Collazo knocks him out.Posted March 25, 2014 12:26 am
I really hope Khan loses now. He is overlooking Collazo. He would look dumb as fck if he lost, saying he would call out Mayweather again. He is leeching off Mayweather’s fame by using his name.Posted March 25, 2014 12:23 am
