Fight Aficionado

Yeah, good to see Lucas back in action. Molina is a decent opponent especially for a so-called tuneup. His crash and burn against DeMarco was a one time deal; he’s looked better in other bouts. Of course Matthysse should win by KO.

It seems that almost every single fighter is having a gimme fight over the next few months except for the Pacquiao vs Bradley fight almost every other premier fighter is in cruise control for their next outing. Thurman, Marquez, Matthysse, Khan, Kovalev, Stevenson, Frampton, Broner and the list goes on and on. There must be something in the water or are all these cats positioning themselves for the aftermath of Mayweather’s, Pac’s and Froch’s upcoming fights?
All these guys will be under pressure to step up their competition next time out.

i can’t believe that they are putting diaz in with thurman. maybe they know something we don’t. after all,he did beat khan in his last fight(in reality).decisions don’t mean anything at this point.i like julio.i wish him the best. thurman’s ego is a little too much. mathysse should move up and fight thurman.

Its always great to see Keith Thurman back in the ring. He is and has been the one to watch! An exciting fighter with powerhouse knockout ability, this future champion will dazzle the fans in his next performance. 22-0 and counting!

TARK

Too bad… I’d like to see Matthysse vs Provodnikov… I hate to see fights like this.

Thurmal Underwear – What cut?

Posted March 25, 2014 6:58 pm

^the hindering cut that changed their fight. granted it was a well placed shot by garcia; credit due, but i gotta think it was only a matter of time till garcia got caught. he truly capitalized off of it and it certainly changed the outcome in my eyes. a student from the philly school of boxing. lucas has some really raw ability, he’s got some tough breaks in his career. his record isn’t reflective of his ability. i think it’s more the way the dice roll sometimes. i got lucas in a rematch.

Love-the-Sport

ESPN reporting Adrien Broner to fight Carlos Molina. Broner is going back to 140 pounds.

This is weak.

Khan beat Molina. Now Molina gets a fight with Broner so that Broner can build confidence and look good.

But fans know better … Broner can’t beat any of the elite fighters and he would get killed by Garcia, Matthyssee, Peterson on Showtime as well as Rios, Alvarado, Marquez on HBO. Even Khan would probably beat Broner.

Broner would lose to all of these guys. If Broner beats Molina it proves nothing. Broner is way over-rated.

Squared-Circle Real Talk (a.k.a. LionKing)

This card is shaping-up quite nicely. One more big-name fight would be great. I’m definitely watching if it’s standard Showtime and expect Thurman and Matthysse to smash their opponents and come away with the Ws.

Lucas takes a backward step. Who cares?.

big head

i think matthysse stops him in 3 rounds or 4 matthysse punches is more straighter he more accurate his timing is better then molina he throws better short shots on the inside molina punches are wide and looping i dont see lasting long

Titopa

Seeing as how Molina was sparked in seconds vs DeMarco…I’m picking Lucas to blow him out of the water. If Lucas doesn’t stop DeMarco, then the loss to Danny REALLY affected him.
